Arien joined as Tolkien-only member Finduilas-(T)
on June 2, 2006 with two text entries at once: a humor piece
"Belfalas" under "Middle-earth Vacation Spots", and her short story
listed here, "Errand of Fate".
She moved on to Full Member status as
Finduilas-(V), then earned her promotion to Maiar Honor
Arien-(Valar).
Arien served for a time as European World of
WarCraft branch leader for the Valar Guild. She is a regular at the
Sunday meetings and sometimes chairs. She has contributed to the
Tolkien Site with articles, humor, and poetry. She games and aids as
an officer, or has done so over the years in various of the kin
branches. She participates as "Frali", a regular in the guild's
ongoing forum story. She has also brought in new members to the
overall guild.

west side of the Great River, a company of ten dwarves search for
two missing dwarves. Nari, Gimli's friend, leads the search party,
in which Gimli is included.

Characters involved are Merry,
Pippin, Frodo, own character Haldured, and an unnamed ranger.
Underlying references are
Aragorn's report about the rangers unseen and little rewards of the
rangers' task in the shire and Merry's remark at Crickhollow about
the Old Forest saying "Frodo has been in there once a long time
ago". .. Well this is the one time :)"
