I recently finished a new figure, and have a photo to share. It wasn't
as much of a challenge as some of the previous ones, but I certainly
couldn't skimp on it either. This one is a Germanic warrior,
approximately 180AD, and is the same size as all the other metal ones
I've done.
In
many ways it was one of the easiest, because of very few parts and
simple paint schemes. However, the challenge here was to make the most
of solid colors in textures, to bring them to life. It gave me a chance
to use the techniques I've worked so hard to learn.
The only thing I added (besides the cube) was some scenic grass and
leaves.
