An Eye Unseen
’Tis in the glade the Elfin-maid
Is dancing to a tune
Of unseen work within the murk
Of shades beyond the moon
The slender feet so quick and fleet
Are seen upon that lawn
By hidden eyes and piercing gaze
That looks from shadows wan
Enthralled is he, a glamoury
Is set upon him there
All glister of the stars above
Seems as to fall and flare
Most bright about her glist’ning feet
And settle on her gown
Like points of light on jacinth night
That in the glade then shone.
