8:41 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Got the September card back on the way, as well as 3000 reward track levels total throughout the years, allowing me the choice of a new hero skin from the WoW old tier 6 class sets.

8:46 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Continuing the quest event as stories are shared in the inn, requiring quite a few cards to be played, with a bonus to warlock. Next quest will be rogue and priest, so we've got a choice!
8:48 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Brawl is the Power of Magic! A parody on Magical Girl anime, it's an AI opponent using an evil Kael'thas, and you get the choice between 4 classes of magical girls, using class cards but also a bunch of cards shuffled in that allow you a choice of free spells.
8:49 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: And they are needed! First game I was completely overwhelmed because I didn't draw any of the spells, second game was over quite quickly when I did 🙂

No new levels or quality upgrades this week.

8:53 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: New login reward track for September has started, and indeed, if you have the skin, the final reward is replaced by gold. 5 gold in fact, which is basically the smallest useable amount, so compared to the tens of thousands I need, it doesn't mean much 😄 In fact, today's reward was 100!

9:00 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: But with the weekly quest being delves, I did dive into that, completing up to tier 7, and leveling Valeera to 61. Also got a bunch of new curios.

9:02 AM]Eönwë Valar: If it was just the Zul Aman and Haranir parts I would just say it's the troll stuff, but the Light stuff was rather underwhelming too.

9:04 AM]Eönwë Valar: And I had to go Prot instead of Ret on my main or I wouldn't have gone anywhere in the Delve journey last season or this (and apparently I fell short of completing Season 1 so I missed the title.)
9:05 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Yeah, I get what you mean. A bit too much inner turmoil, perhaps, with the actual paladin champions being tied up at the Well.

9:05 AM]Eönwë Valar: Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Prot, and had it been back in the day what it is today I probably would've started as Prot, but my main was Ret and I didn't like giving that up after 20 years.
9:07 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Oh, ret wasn't really doable at higher ilevels then? Or the scaling's off? It's never been my main activity for gear, so switching specs for one thing doesn't seem that off to me personally.

9:08 AM]Eönwë Valar: Ret could eventually clear T11, like last expansion, but my playing time was already waning and trying to slog through doing less damage than the tank spec would've discouraged playing even more.

9:10 AM]Eönwë Valar: But I ran Ret with healer Companion. I never did try with a tank companion.

9:11 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: I don't really feel like a tank companion is very useful unless you're in the healing role.
9:11 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: I also run tank with a damage companion, and dps with a healer companion.
9:11 AM]Eönwë Valar: That's what I kinda feared; that I'd try it any have my whelming be just as under.
9:13 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: I don't know if ret does any passive group healing though. With the state of my resto experience, I think it doesn't take much to get the potential out of a tank companion.
9:14 AM]Eönwë Valar: Prot holds out against enemies better and kills at least as quickly as Ret in ST, better in Multi for obvious reasons.
9:14 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Yes, that does sound a bit unbalanced.
9:14 AM]Eönwë Valar: Passive group healing? Unless it changed in the newest patch, I doubt it. Don't think I'm that far out of the loop yet.

9:17 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: In any case, I did get a few gear upgrades through the delves weekly quest, so I should be around 285, which is what my group likes to see in the raid at least 🙂
9:17 AM]Eönwë Valar: Well, I mean there's Lightbearer, 10% passive healing based on the Paladin being healed "from other sources" so my understanding is not the Paladin healing himself.
