the ballpark of what the orcs had to deal with when Sauron/Morgoth

understand, alot could be perceived, and if he pressed his will on
them I doubt any orcs could stand that scrutiniy. But Sauron can't
be botthered to personally call in and interrogate every orc.

I think even in orcs there would be some lines they would be loathe
to cross, if only to be a pain to a boss they don't really like
(Sauron/Morgoth).

If they did have their own sort of "code-language" they would use to
indicate things that they could say plainly and go over the heads of
the uninitiated, or any sort of gesture language to do the same, I
think they would hold onto that as long as they could.

succeed, they would come to a point where they would be picking
apart even the most miniscule evidence of independent thought and
Free Will in their minions.

destruction. If he'd won, he would have eventually destroyed his
Orcs as well, because they were ultimately not his creation.

that so long as what he dominated didn't draw its origination from

been a clue to the smarter Orcs that the old whispers of their
origins might be true.

if memory serves, with Fëanor being renowned at 7. With the way Orcs
are said to multiply (when they're not destroying themselves), they
would have to average somewhere between 10 and 15.

were transformed into more powerful creatures by its magic, and
continued to decimate their troll kin.

The Elves would see the Orcs as abominations, horrible results of
what Sauron had changed their own people into.

The Elves around the time of Thingol also saw Elves that escaped but
some taken in turned out to be moles for the enemy, so they didn't
take any more in.

What would happen to those outcast? If they were recaptured, it
would go poorly for them and as orcs they would have a lot of anger
for the abandonment.

things catch your eye at different times for different reasons.

thing, could even be phantoms. Only later used specifically for what
we now call Orcs.

Also, I would note this here as important to keep in mind when
discussing any of the forces of "Evil". It discusses specifically
orcs, and a specific idea of orcs, but it's good to keep in mind:
"Morgoth not Sauron is the source of Orc-wills. Sauron is just
another (if greater) agent. Orcs can rebel against him without
losing their own irremiadble allegiance to evil (Morgoth)."

why they would be Houseless.

So the Balrog doesn't have to serve Sauron just because
Sauron was second-in-command. Smaug doesn't have to serve
Sauron. Sauron has to convince them to serve him, or find a
way to convince them to work with him.

Sauron saw ways to use them, leaving them in a place helpful to him
and sending food for a bit of good will. (tasty orc patrols lost a
few here and there that way to Shelob)

So, aye. Morgoth had the enormous power they worshipped. Sauron, his
right hand, had the intelligence to channel that power to help them
take over Arda. Morgoth wanted to be Eru and have his own creations,
destroy what he had not created. He had to be a nightmare for Sauron
a lot of times.

Heroes of the Storm:
1 new level gained, from to 449; Tyrande to level 5. Through a very
rough vs AI match that took 37 minutes compared to the usual 10-12
or so, took us all the way to level 28 in-match and gave me 200k xp
to reach that level 5.

You can bet it went wrong Even with a Deathwing on our side,
we were quite outplayed for a large part of it. I got MVP with
Tyrande, which says a lot about our Deathwing and Chromie and others

with 1 keep and half a Core remaining with a last desperate
mercenary boss.

I think people are starting to get sloppy in HotS from expecting it
to be an easy win, personally. I've actually been playing HotS the
last few weeks and there's just too many people completely ignoring
the special conditions of the match, i.e. the seeds, the capture

No new levels, though DH is getting close. Reward track 109 now.
Brawl is the Hallucination one; pick a class, get a random deck as
well as a bunch of hallucinations to discover cards from your
opponent's class. Since we both played shaman, it was a matter of
who got the best synergy through our mutual shaman discoveries. But
still won my first match!

Got Calfusius, my panda brewmaster, from 6 to 10, and Calvorgius, my
worgen outlaw, from 7 to 10. Despite specs technically not being
available below 10, the game had remembered which specs they were
before scaling down below 10, and brought them back to that default

So now they're all back at 10 or higher, available on the armory and
able to get next winter veil's gifts!

Playing through Dun Morogh a bit, got her from 21 to 23. As my nr. 1
alt, she deserves some attention and I'm finding retribution spec
not too bad in questing!

Did some forward planning too... it seems once I'm 30 (I'm not using
Chromie time) I'll not scale with Vanilla zones anymore, nor several

now is seeing the covenant campaigns.
