Before-meeting
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 3:09 PM
Heya. Got new fan installed. Got new SSD installed and
formatted, after having to send out for a new cord and then finding
out I needed a bracket to adjust the Hard drive tray to the right
size and running out for that. Now I play the "move all my games to
the SSD and see how much faster they'll run" game, heh.
VardaYesterday at 3:31 PM
Good luck!
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 3:33 PM
Thanks :}
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 3:59 PM
Aiya!
VardaYesterday at 4:00 PM
Aiya
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 4:00 PM

Eonwë ValarYesterday at 4:00 PM
Heya :}
VardaYesterday at 4:01 PM
How is the computer doing?
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 4:01 PM
Working on the transfer now. Fortunately the Bnet app has a "search
for games" option so I can move the folders and then use that to
reconnect the links, though the app at least.
[4:01 PM]
My other games might be more of a mess.
VardaYesterday at 4:01 PM

Arien ValarYesterday at 4:14 PM
I caught an Ent this week!
VardaYesterday at 4:15 PM
hmm
Arien ValarYesterday at 4:15 PM
Fladrif in fact on Battlenet and we chatted a bit
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 4:15 PM
Ah, great!
VardaYesterday at 4:15 PM
You can get a pet ent if you work at it in LotRO
[4:15 PM]
ah nice!
IrmoYesterday at 4:15 PM
Been with ents all day
VardaYesterday at 4:16 PM
True you have!
Arien ValarYesterday at 4:16 PM
hehe i poked him into mailing to Eonwe as well
[4:16 PM]
has he done that Eonwe?
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 4:17 PM
I need to check my e-mail closer. Been a busy week.
VardaYesterday at 4:17 PM
Irmo might have to explain his remark.
IrmoYesterday at 4:19 PM
Sorry, yes, I have been on the last stage of the epic from Helms
deep, and thus been doing the March of the Ents, nut also the
cleansing of Isengard and the start of Quickbeams Fangorn quests, so
[4:19 PM]
sabout 8 hours o Enting today
VardaYesterday at 4:19 PM
So he's been seeing a lot of trees in the forest.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 4:19 PM
8 hours? That's barely a conversation for Ents.
VardaYesterday at 4:19 PM
They made it to hello?
IrmoYesterday at 4:20 PM
Yeah, they got halfway there
[4:20 PM]
Quite hasty folk
VardaYesterday at 4:21 PM
That's Quickbeam for you.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 4:21 PM
That young whippersnapper.
VardaYesterday at 4:21 PM

IrmoYesterday at 4:21 PM
He has got a thing about planting seeds...
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 4:21 PM
Hehe.
[4:22 PM]
Speaking of Ents, I found Fladrif's response, so yes, he did send me
an e-mail, Arien. Thanks.

Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 4:27 PM
I think it was on monday, yes.
VardaYesterday at 4:28 PM
Oh right! All the screenies that were sent in should be on the page
now.

Theme, fireworks, or whatever you are doing to celebrate. Party!

Tuesday the screenies went up.
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 4:30 PM

Gaming:
VardaYesterday at 4:32 PM
(that's pretty serious dabbling you've been doing!)
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 4:33 PM
Due to working on my computer, I don't have Gaming News prepped, so
I'm going to have to do this the old-fashioned way.
[4:33 PM]
Word of Warcraft:
[4:34 PM]
Pre-expansion patch is coming this Tuesday, barring something crazy
happening.
[4:34 PM]
This is going to be the systems and such, but not the event.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 4:35 PM
(of note: confirmation that CE will still ship this week)
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 4:35 PM
So I may or may not be making a Void Elf Hunter to see how far I get
prior to the event, if I'm not completely absorbed in the changes to
my Paladin during that time.
[4:35 PM]
Oh good. I've been looking for confirmation on that, but couldn't
find any. Do you have a link Phar?
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 4:36 PM
looking..
ShelobYesterday at 4:37 PM
Aiya!

Eonwë ValarYesterday at 4:39 PM
I'll take it.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 4:39 PM
Yep, was good enough for me Planning to make my blood panda on
wednesday after both the CE and the customization patch are in.
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 4:40 PM
I hope I don't get a message saying either of my two pre-orders are
unfullfillable.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 4:40 PM
The store I get em from just had them available again so I assume
mine still counts from the earlier preorder.
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 4:40 PM
I put them in the day it was announced, one of them from Blizzard.
I've never ordered directly from them before.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 4:40 PM
It still says 31st of dec, though
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 4:41 PM
hehe
IrmoYesterday at 4:41 PM

[4:46 PM]
Ok, looks like i've reached the limit of all the gaming news I can
find. Any other gaming news I missed?
Lord of the Rings Online:
ShelobYesterday at 4:47 PM
It's probably very old, but still won't hurt to say it again.
Questing in Forochel (LotRO) is an absolute nightmare.
Arien ValarYesterday at 4:48 PM
Aiya Shelob
[4:49 PM]
difficulties finding paths on the ice , dear?
ShelobYesterday at 4:50 PM
No, the place is huge, was pretty much out of date when I got there,
so skipping normal quests in favour of just the Epic, and then
(swift) travel doesn't work, and half the quests take you from one
side to the other and back.
[4:51 PM]
Without any discernable reason why either.
VardaYesterday at 4:52 PM
I have some LotRO news
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 4:52 PM
Your floor Varda.
VardaYesterday at 4:53 PM
Thank you, Eonwe
[4:53 PM]
LotRO plans to do Wednesday morning maintenance as a regular thing
[4:53 PM]
It lasts about one hour and starts at about 9 Eastern.
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 4:54 PM
And have they told us what they expect us to do with that one hour
of our lives? :}
VardaYesterday at 4:54 PM
We are allowed to find out what the outside of our houses look like!
Reclaim that hour!
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 4:55 PM
Certainly they can't expect me to be logged in for only 23 hours on
Wednesday? :} (I kid :})
VardaYesterday at 4:55 PM
It's a hardship, we know. ; )
[4:55 PM]
Mainly it's so an instance or raid run doesn't find itself abruptly
truncated.
[4:55 PM]
Let's us plan ahead.
Arien ValarYesterday at 4:55 PM
eve has that .. it used to be an hour but its down to 15 minutes
these days i think
VardaYesterday at 4:56 PM
An hour is just being cagey. It may not be that long. It's a good
idea, especially for a leaky game.
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 4:56 PM
WoW pretty much has it to just patch days and some rare instances.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 4:56 PM
It used to be standard in WoW.
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 4:56 PM
Aye.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 4:57 PM
I'm not sure if they just skip them entirely now or if it's like.. a
server restart each week.
VardaYesterday at 4:57 PM
It's a good idea. Let the Devs get in some licks at stuff.
[4:57 PM]
Doubt they need a full hour just to restart?
[4:58 PM]
Here's the LotRO players from this past week:
[4:58 PM]
Landroval:
Eonwe
Fangorn
Irmo
Lenwe
Nar
Shelob
Varda
(Past 6 days only above; going up to 12 below for missed check):
Arien
Miriel
Nimrodel
Ithil:
Dis? (May be her husband, Walda-V, bringing in some of Dis's
characters)
Eonwe
Falco
Fangorn
Varda
Anor:
Fangorn
Varda
[4:58 PM]
That should also take care of the missed week.
[4:59 PM]
Also, I thought the transcript for the anniversary was online, but
was remembering the screenies and stuff instead. It's all up now.
[4:59 PM]
Shelob, you wanted to say something?
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:00 PM
If there's no other gaming news....
ShelobYesterday at 5:00 PM
Well...
[5:01 PM]
I've been rather busy, and aside from the Forochel nightmare, I have
seriously enjoyed my time questing the Epic Volume I.
[5:02 PM]
I've had some help from Irmo clearing Carn Dum for the first parts
for my epic weapon (only need the other one in Angmar now).
[5:03 PM]
And I often see Eonwe popping in and immediately back out again, but
I've never managed to catch you staying for long... I wonder why?
[5:03 PM]
Call me nosey.
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:03 PM
Getting my Hobbit present and that's it.
[5:04 PM]
Usually don't have time for anything else.
ShelobYesterday at 5:04 PM
Ah, ok. pop in a hi now and again?
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:04 PM
I'll try, hehe.
[5:05 PM]
I found most people didn't answer when I did.
ShelobYesterday at 5:05 PM
They certainly won't if you don't give them a chance to though.
[5:06 PM]
But I can imagine if you're in for a minute or so most people won't
notice in time. Me included.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 5:06 PM
Eonwe pops in, says hi, logs out, and over the next 10 minutes
everyone else starts responding...
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:06 PM
Pretty much, heh.
[5:07 PM]
I'm usually literally there just long enough to hit that "I want my
present" button and move on.
ShelobYesterday at 5:07 PM
Usually it's just me and Irmo online when he pops in though.
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:07 PM
Unless I get distracted by something else I'm taking care of at the
same time and end up forgetting I ever logged in in the first place.
ShelobYesterday at 5:07 PM
Oh, that reminds me, Lenwe helped out in Carn Dum as well!
[5:08 PM]
hehe
[5:08 PM]
Yeah, that happens.
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:08 PM
I spend alot of time multi-tasking right now.
ShelobYesterday at 5:09 PM
Not much multi-tasking for me to do at the moment. Spending some
time traveling in Forochel again.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 5:10 PM
hmm, time traveling!
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:10 PM
hehe
ShelobYesterday at 5:10 PM
Spending Phar. Not doing. Wish I could.
[5:10 PM]
Only Ents can do that do.
[5:11 PM]
do that do? Hmmm... Scrap that second do for it to make some
semblance of sense.
[5:11 PM]
Anyways. That's what I wanted to say.
[5:11 PM]
Floor back to Varda and/or Eonwë.
VardaYesterday at 5:11 PM
Back to Eonwe.
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:12 PM
Thanks.
[5:12 PM]
OK, so if that's it for gaming, then on to...

Tolkien:
[5:13 PM]
New post from me on the RP.
[5:13 PM]
New this week rather, not new this moment.
[5:13 PM]
If anyone has a Tolkien topic, now's the time
to bring it forth.
ShelobYesterday at 5:15 PM
Random thought: The Doom of the Valar upon the Noldor, how it came
about and how it shaped their perception as well as the perception
of others on them in Middle Earth?
VardaYesterday at 5:18 PM
The Noldor wanted to follow their leader in his hubris. Mandos
warned what would happen if they did.
[5:18 PM]
What the Noldor did such as the kinslaying is why they were disliked
by Thingol and faced restrictions.
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:18 PM
Well, wanted might be a strong word. They certainly chose to.
VardaYesterday at 5:19 PM
They did not have swords to their throats to follow. Some even
turned back.
ShelobYesterday at 5:19 PM
Some did so for other reasons. Galadriel comes to mind.
VardaYesterday at 5:19 PM
Galadriel liked Feanor's suggestion that they could have their own
kingdoms
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:19 PM
Some didn't want to face the Valar and humble themselves.
VardaYesterday at 5:20 PM
(Sauron had that same problem about having to humble himself.)
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:20 PM
Going to Middle-Earth was the only other option, and Fëanor was
heading their way.
[5:21 PM]
It seems particularly those who'd participated in the Kinslaying
were likely to continue forward, even after Fëanor abandoned them to
the Helcaraxë.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 5:21 PM
You'd think not coming back with the ships would give ideas that
FEanor didn't actually wanted them to come...
[5:21 PM]
*want
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:22 PM
I think at that point, he didn't care what they did. Come, don't
come. Noodles, don't noodles.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 5:22 PM
And yet they still went after him over the ice.
ShelobYesterday at 5:23 PM
The Noldor were proud. Too proud in many instances.
[5:24 PM]
Like Maedhros after the War of Wrath. He still held on to his oath,
even though the Valar themselves proclaimed the oath naught.
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:24 PM
Fingolfin wanted to come face to face with his brother at that
point. I wouldn't blame him. Others as I said had a hand in the
Kinslaying. Others were loyal to Fingolfin and his sons, enough to
press on against all odds.
VardaYesterday at 5:24 PM
Anyone not in complete agreement with Feanor was to be left behind.
They had the courage to keep coming even across the Helcaraxe.
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:25 PM
The Oath also invoked Eru and called the Everlasting Dark upon them
for failure. They weren't going to win that one no matter what they
did.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 5:25 PM
Yeah, that's a tricky one.
ShelobYesterday at 5:26 PM
Yet that oath was what originally set Feanor upon that path.
[5:27 PM]
And it was that oath, combined with the Kinslaying that prevented a
full alliance between the Avari and the Noldor in Middle Earth.
[5:27 PM]
Thingol for example would have nothing to do with the sons of
Feanor, which did weaken the possibility of victory.
[5:28 PM]
For in most battles it is written that Morgoth won through deceit
and cunning, and that the divisions sown by the actions and oath of
Feanor did play a significant part in the outcome.
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:33 PM
No argument.
[5:34 PM]
Once the Oath and the Kinslaying became more wideley known, along
with some lies mixed in from Morgoth, most Elves were wary about
dealing with the sons of Fëanor.
ShelobYesterday at 5:35 PM
Which lead directly to a number of other things, like the sacking of
Nargothrond and in essence to what is essentially "narn i hin
hurin".
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:36 PM
Well, there's a reason the story is called the Silmarillion
Arien ValarYesterday at 5:36 PM
Some of Thingols people were guiding the ships in sea battle in the
war against Morgoth i believe
[Note: This is a reference to the Teleri from Valinor, who were the
part of Thingol's people that had gone there when no one could find
Thingol before sailing. They refused to help the Noldor in
Middle-earth itself for the war, but some did indeed crew the ships
there.]
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 5:36 PM
That reminds me, I pugged with a druid called Silmarillon a few days
ago
[5:37 PM]
I only noticed it afterwards, unfortunately!
ShelobYesterday at 5:38 PM
I think you might be mistaken for the people of the havens of
Brithombar and... the other place, Arien.
[5:39 PM]
Doriath was as slab dang in the center of Beleriand at that time as
you can imagine.
[5:39 PM]
Not much use for ships there.
[5:42 PM]
But, there's also a bright side.
[5:43 PM]
Because the first men to cross into Beleriand came under the
tutelage of the Noldor, and they taught them many wondrous things,
for they were the finest smiths, and for all their pride in their
works, it was not without merit.
[5:44 PM]
And the first men were changed by the light of Valinor that still
radiated from the Noldor and were granted lifespans much beyond that
of those who came after.
[5:45 PM]
And from that line stemmed Hurin, and Turin, Tuor, Earendil, Elrond
and Aragorn.
[5:45 PM]
And even though Elrond chose to be counted among Elvenkind, he is of
the line of men.
[5:47 PM]
Much multi-tasking going on at the moment I think...
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 5:49 PM
Well, you are correct.
[5:49 PM]
and no Pharazon either without all that!
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:50 PM
I think I've added as much as I can on this topic without
tangenting.
ShelobYesterday at 5:50 PM
Yeah, same here I think
[5:51 PM]
But still, it's good sometimes to rethink on both the good and the
bad stuff.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 5:51 PM
And it made for some good stories, that's good!
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:51 PM
No argument.
[5:51 PM]
As we're coming up on the second hour from the start of the meeting,
I think we'll bang the gavel here.
[5:52 PM]
Raises gavel into the air
ShelobYesterday at 5:52 PM
Nooooes.
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:52 PM
Holds it
[5:52 PM]
Holds it
ShelobYesterday at 5:52 PM
Go for it.

Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:53 PM
Thank you all for coming.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 5:54 PM
I could blame my little input in this topic on the multitasking I've
been doing but honestly, I didn't feel like I had much to add.
Eonwë ValarYesterday at 5:55 PM
I unfortunately have a litany of things I must address before my
eyes close tonight, so I will now be back and forth. If I miss your
parting, take care, good night, sleep well, and have fun.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 5:56 PM
Namarie just in case!
ShelobYesterday at 5:59 PM
Namarie in advance Eonwe, I shall be settling for bed soon as well.
Just finishing up my quest.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 6:00 PM
Finished most of my multitasking now, just doing some archeology in
wow while pondering on the gaming report.
[6:01 PM]
I am a drewd and I'm digging a hole.
[6:01 PM]
Diggy diggy hole.
ShelobYesterday at 6:03 PM
Drewd? If you'd said Drow I would have believed you.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 6:04 PM
baer drewd!
ShelobYesterday at 6:04 PM
They don't dig holes...
[6:05 PM]
Tree drewds on the other hand...
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 6:05 PM
Apparently they do if you give em a trowel and some surveying
equipment.
ShelobYesterday at 6:07 PM
I thought you'd let the masses do that for you... After all, you've
had your pelt set on fire, frozen solid, clubbed, stabbed, etc. etc.
just so they wouldn't have to go through all that.
[6:07 PM]
And be horribly maimed at that.
[6:08 PM]
So, a little gratitude might be in order.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 6:08 PM
puts some extra ducttape on ear I don't know what you mean,
I'm fine.
[6:08 PM]
Also, I like arch
Arien ValarYesterday at 6:08 PM
just a setback you know
ShelobYesterday at 6:09 PM
Oh no, I don't mean us being disfigured, I meant we keep them from
being disfigured!
[6:09 PM]
Also Bear Drewd for life.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 6:09 PM
Ahh
ShelobYesterday at 6:10 PM
And the healers shouldn't complain either. I mean, if we really need
to, we can heal ourselves, right?
[6:11 PM]
Also, combat rezzing in bear form is a thing now, right?
[6:11 PM]
I remember the time when I had to time my combat rez in between boss
swings.
[6:11 PM]
Which was fun!
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 6:12 PM
I'm.. not sure. I think so. I seldom am the one to rez while
tanking, our druids are the most prominent class.
[6:12 PM]
Hwup, next solve will be a pet. Always nice.
ShelobYesterday at 6:12 PM
Group: We have combat rez, right?
Me: I'm a bear and I need to shift out of form to do that.
Group: Oh, we don't have combat rez.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 6:13 PM
hehe
ShelobYesterday at 6:13 PM
Nice.
[6:13 PM]
But it's always nice if people don't expect to have a combat rez and
are then amazed by the fact that someone got rezzed in the middle of
the fight.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 6:14 PM
What sorcery is this??
ShelobYesterday at 6:14 PM
And the only one who usually notices is the healer, who suddenly
sees a massive dip on the hp bar.
[6:14 PM]
Especially if not timed correctly.
[6:14 PM]
I may have died once or twice combat rezzing on Gruul.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 6:14 PM
If you rez a druid, they could return the favor.
ShelobYesterday at 6:15 PM
Tank - Healer - Any other putz who managed to do the cardinal sin of
standing in some pool of fire.
[6:16 PM]
Also, as a tank I never CR a dps.
[6:16 PM]
Unless it's a straight up dps race.
[6:16 PM]
On the other hand, I haven't played WoW in like 2 or 3 years...
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 6:17 PM
Well, right now it's 1 rez for the entire raid per fight on a charge
timer, so the longer the fight takes, the more rezzes you get.
[6:17 PM]
So.. we generally save one for a tank or healer unless we get an
extra
ShelobYesterday at 6:17 PM
Well. duh.
[6:18 PM]
Of course, in the good old days when you had like a plethora of CRs,
you'd just hand them out willy nilly.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 6:18 PM
Especially during progression we faced moments in a fight where we
had like a 50% chance that one of the tanks would die.
[6:18 PM]
Right
[6:18 PM]
So we'd save a rez for that.
ShelobYesterday at 6:19 PM
In a fight where DPS is not important, that's always the case.
[6:20 PM]
And in most fights DPS is handy to have at best.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 6:21 PM
Well, there's plenty of fights with tight timers, addwaves, burst
phases, etc.
ShelobYesterday at 6:21 PM
Most fights you could have tanks and healers. It would take ages,
but it would be doable.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 6:21 PM
But true, it's the easiest need to outgear.
[6:21 PM]
Nahh, not anymore.
ShelobYesterday at 6:21 PM
burst phases are not important though, not unless there's also a
timer.
[6:21 PM]
either soft or hard doesn't matter.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 6:22 PM
If it's not on a timer for a hard enrage, there's stuff like
stacking debuffs, or absorption shields that need to be broken
before interrupting some lethal ability.
[6:22 PM]
Or you just get overwhelmed by addwaves.
[6:22 PM]
Most fights like are like that now.
ShelobYesterday at 6:22 PM
Lazy.

[6:28 PM]
Oh man... Our kinship house has a beacon of Gondor in its backyard!

Personal gaming report!
[6:33 PM]
For flashgaming 3 old games from this
week's badges. One is one of my favorites, one is short and fun and
easy, and the third is just... quite interesting!
[6:34 PM]
https://www.kongregate.com/games/ArmorGames/achievement-unlocked-2
is the first one! A platform puzzler where the goal is to get all
the achievements in the list to your right.
Kongregate
Achievement Unlocked 2
This is a game about you.
Yes you, the player: A lowly blue elephant in a
world that has no defining purpose. But you will create a purpose,
and that purpose...
[6:35 PM]
One in a series of famously fun achievement games, this one has
multiple rooms stacked on top of each other where different things
are to be gotten, and when you're done you can leave at the top
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 7:19 PM
Well, I just completed the entire game, so.. that's how much I favor
it
[7:24 PM]
https://www.kongregate.com/games/Stillmerlin/icarus-needs
is the second game! A short-ish adventure puzzle game where you move
across a series of panels like a comic, and complete obstacles to
open new pathways and ultimately complete the story. Trapped in a
dream, you need to wake up!
Kongregate
Icarus Needs
Icarus Needs is a hypercomic adventure game
starring everyone#39s favourite mentally unhinged cartoonist, Icarus
Creeps.
Icarus has fallen asleep playing videoga...
[7:25 PM]
The main objectives are listed on the left side, but there's a few
pieces of the puzzle you'll have to figure out on your own.
[7:28 PM]
https://www.kongregate.com/games/EvilDog/road-of-the-dead
is the third game. An action game where you have to drive along a
road to escape from zombies and enemy military, get upgrades for
your car along the way, get to the end!
Kongregate
Road of the Dead
Escape the quarantined city by driving through a
highway filled with ravenous undead, carnage and chaos while the
military tries to stop you!
SickDeathFiend,...
[7:29 PM]
For the story, listening to the dialogue is the way to go
[7:30 PM]
Quite gory though, so beware.

Blizzard gaming:
[7:39 PM]
Heroes of the Storm:
Still level 430. Got to play around with quite a few different
heroes though
[7:42 PM]
Hearthstone:
No new levels, tavern brawl is event-based (hallow's end) with every
minion you play "disguised" as another mnion, 2 mana more expensive.
When the disguise dies, the original minion appears. It allows for
good use of battlecry minions, and starting with a bunch of cheap
ones will give you a quick hold on the board
[7:42 PM]
WoW:
[7:43 PM]
Last raiding in Nyalotha done with corruptions at level 120. Still
going pretty smooth. I wonder how the tuning will be after patch!
[7:43 PM]
Another Jaina defeat too, still no mount for me. But I think it's
been confirmed that mythic mounts won't go to 1% until SL releases,
so we should have a few weeks more.
IorethYesterday at 7:44 PM
I got mount last week, gave it to guildmate who has been actively
trying for it forever
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 7:45 PM
Timewalking is arenas! Getting a high winrate in the skirmishes,
which is good, since I need 10 wins Guardian still good. Loss
of corruptions shouldn't matter much... but the talent changes
might.
[7:45 PM]
Ooh, generous
IorethYesterday at 7:46 PM
I've never done a skirmish or brawl
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 7:46 PM
We're just having the lucky ones have it, more congratsing than envy
(openly anyway!)
[7:46 PM]
I'm not too much of a pvper, but I can when I need to... and weekly
quests I consider needs
[7:46 PM]
Warmode not included.
[7:47 PM]
Got my last mission champion to legendary level, grand admiral
Jes-Tereth, so I'm now done with the champions!
IorethYesterday at 7:47 PM
I used to live in AV, on a PvP server. That was many years ago
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 7:47 PM
Might still do some missions if there's nice rewards.
[7:47 PM]
Ah
[7:48 PM]
And got a new pet from the darkshore rares, Zur'aj the Depleted, a
small faceless minion with a unique skin, including bands of
ethereal lighting.
[7:49 PM]
And more bee farming!
[7:50 PM]
Got one of the 3 butterfly pets, the Sunsoaked Flitter, from a
Harvester event. For the other 2 I'll need more Harvester events and
a drop from the ettin boss, the Honey Smasher, and while I'm killing
the latter daily, the one from the Harvester is really rare and I
might wait until I can solo the events easily.
[7:51 PM]
And got exalted with the faction as well as growing my little bee
friend to mature (the goggles really help to find jelly!), after
which I got to recruit him as the new mount, so yay
IorethYesterday at 7:51 PM
frowns about butterflies
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 7:51 PM
With bee mount and several bee pets, I decided to change my mog to
something resembling a bee!
[7:51 PM]
No luck with them?
IorethYesterday at 7:52 PM
You said they were gone... I never tried
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 7:53 PM
Did I?
IorethYesterday at 7:53 PM
oh, got not gone
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 7:54 PM
Go get em then
IorethYesterday at 7:54 PM
I wonder if horde can get
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 7:55 PM
I think you can. You can't unlock the faction and grab the jellies,
but you should be able to join in on harvester events and kill the
smasher.
[7:55 PM]
You might need to google it to be sure
[7:55 PM]
And finally I embarked on another small pre-SL project..
archaeology!
IorethYesterday at 7:56 PM
You got the moose?
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 7:56 PM
I figured it'd take quite a while to get all the rares and
pristines, but it's going quite fast.
[7:56 PM]
Yah, I finished all Legion archeo.
[7:56 PM]
Currently doing the BfA bits.
[7:57 PM]
For rares I've gotten the trinkets from both factions (zandalari and
drust), the toy from Zandalari, and both factions have the rare pet
as next solves, leaving only the Drust toy.
[7:58 PM]
Pristines.. might be a lucky streak, but about 4 or 5 of them were
gotten on the first proc of that particular artifact, and I've
gotten 7 in total. Out of 12. So yeah.
[7:58 PM]
Last ones are always slow, but it's good progress for just a few
days in
[7:58 PM]
I do suspect the proc rates were made rather higher for BfA though,
instead of the old 10%.
[7:59 PM]
Luckily BfA artifacts don't need many fragments, either.
[8:00 PM]
What I'm mostly looking forward to is making my new blood panda
though! When the CE arrives and the patch is here with
customizations, I'll be making a lovely female panda death knight
with the new red tail
IorethYesterday at 8:06 PM
I'm still trying to get the vial of sands recipe.
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 8:06 PM
Yeah, glad my main's not an alchemist
IorethYesterday at 8:07 PM
I need like 630 arch to open the boxes and I'm not quite there yet
Ar-Pharazon-VYesterday at 8:13 PM
Trying to figure out what my panda girl will look like.
[8:15 PM]

Oh, and last thing to mention: WoW comic collection 1 arrived today!
Full of WoD, Legion and BfA comics, previously released online, but
now in one handy volume with bonus art
