ArPharazonV: Don't remember a meteor shower this year, but I did watch out for the lunar eclipse.

AriehnV: I live on the Isle of Skye , Lenwe, annd we get very clear nights in dark areas which are not hard to find .. and we had the great pleasure of being able to witness some Northern Lights
perseid28: I had to look it up to find where it is ;-) It looks amazing
VardaValar1: I live in a mess of lights, problem with being the Lady of Light maybe, so being somewhere to see such things is a special treat.
ArPharazonV: I live in a town. I suppose it's average, here.

ArPharazonV: Makes me think the island's floating :-)
AriehnV: its one of the most beautiful areas you can imagine .. its a very popular place for us folks to travel )
AriehnV: maybe that's where Dalaran ought to be *nods*

AriehnV: ... and fact is Glasgow has as "nickname" "City of Lights*
VardaValar1: There you go. A clue!

AriehnV: well truth to be said .. Runrig have a great song about Glasgow which they called "City of Lights" ^^got to to love it

ArPharazonV: Winterveil brawl was supposed to come out this week, but it hasn't yet. Probably next week we can earn the card back ;-)

ArPharazonV: You already said it was after Morgoth's mace ;-)
ArPharazonV: The one he didn't actually appear to use very often, except against Fingolfin.
VardaValar1: oops, let Tevildo out of the bag there.
VardaValar1: We don't get to see it being used often. Might have been handy to bat a drake out of the way in the hall.

VardaValar1: In Gondor, how did he change things?
ArPharazonV: Saving the new steward is the first thing that comes to mind.
AriehnV: he became companion to the guard soldier and his son .. name block at the moment but you know who ^^
AriehnV: and friend and the lad might have been lonely otherwise
ArPharazonV: And yes, he and the guard he befriended gave us a unique perspective into the doings of Minas Tirith :-)
AriehnV: and yes that :-)
AriehnV: he moved even Denethor's heart a bit
ArPharazonV: The right person to bring the news of Boromir's death.

AriehnV: when he offered his services to him after bringing the death and Bregil and Beregond yes just came again

VardaValar1: He aided as a messenger for Gandalf, inside man, as well as genuinely wanting to help out Denethor and Faramir.
VardaValar1: A nifty bit, he saw the Witch-king before Merry did.
ArPharazonV: "Hey, Merry, did you also see that big nazgul leading the fight?" "See him? I stabbed him in the knee!"
VardaValar1: He went to the Battle of Pelennor Fields, without Merry.
VardaValar1: hehe

VardaValar1: What did he do there that was heroic?
ArPharazonV: Protecting Beregond from a troll chieftain, right?
VardaValar1: Aye. Beregond would have been a goner.
AriehnV: "I think that made me draw even with Merry again" he thought before he passed out

VardaValar1: I just looked it up. It was a great troll-chieftain.
VardaValar1: He stabbed upward and the thing fell, unfortunately on top of Pippin.
ArPharazonV: Ouch.
ArPharazonV: Hope it wasn't too spikily armored.
VardaValar1: Last thing he heard was that the eagles were coming. :-)

VardaValar1: Pippin had all the bravery any great hero could hope for and killed a monster.
VardaValar1: When he went back to the Shire, those ruffians looked much less impressive than they would have before.
ArPharazonV: Good swordskill though. Did Boromir teach him on the road? :-)
VardaValar1: He probably did, and he may have picked up more working for the Guard in Gondor, and on the journey.

ArPharazonV: Don't know about the book, but I know that in the show, the Hound taught her to aim for the heart.

VardaValar1: The gavel fell apart into light rays. *uses the sun ray cloth to put it together and make a little star*

ArPharazonV: http://www.onemorelevel.com/game/monkey_go_happy_xmas_tree for the christmas spirit, I'll throw in an installment of the Monkey Go Happy series, a point-and-click game where you have to complete puzzles by collecting stuff and clicking on stuff and giving stuff to questgivers. Fetch-quest, basically, with some looking around :-)

ArPharazonV: Blizzard games!
ArPharazonV: Didn't do much SCII and D3, unfortunately. For some reason I'm always short on time every day of the week :-)
ArPharazonV: Did some Heroes of the Storm, bit more Raynor than usual, to get used to him again. Gold's really piling up now. Maybe I should buy some stuff ;-)
ArPharazonV: Hearthstone! After getting all classes to 38 during the last meeting, I'm slowly building em up again for the next level. Biggest trouble was a daily I got to win 5 brawls, because they're completely random this week ;-)
ArPharazonV: so much winking.. why?
ArPharazonV: anyway
ArPharazonV: WoW: Riding around on my new moose mount!
ArPharazonV: Also got some new gear for my cat-offspec today, but I'm pretty much almost optimal for the content we've cleared so far, for both specs.
ArPharazonV: I got my last heirloom trinket from mythic dungeons, have all 5 now :-)
ArPharazonV: And with all my current gear valor-upgraded so far, I think I can get away with skipping mythic dungeons from here on and only get valor from daily heroics.
ArPharazonV: At least until we get into mythic raiding and the loot starts coming again.
ArPharazonV: Got revered reputation with all 3 Tanaan factions! Only thing left to unlock flying in Draenor is to collect 100 treasures, I've got 10 so far in the past, so still a while to go.
ArPharazonV: And I'll focus on getting 2 of the factions to exalted first, and perhaps doing some pet battles, before I start the treasure hunt.
ArPharazonV: But it's somewhere on the horizon :-)
ArPharazonV: For the shipyard I'll add that I managed to randomly construct a Murloc-crewed destroyer this week. Because they can fulfill 2 ship-roles instead of 1, they're very good to have. Took me a lot of constructing to get one.
VardaValar1: Grats
ArPharazonV: And.. I think that's it for this week!
VardaValar1: Sounds as if you could use a rest!
VardaValar1: You did a ton.
ArPharazonV: Mostly small things. Shipyard was mostly visiting the place a couple of times a day.
ArPharazonV: I will be glad to be rid of the mythic dungeons though. 8 instances taking the better part of an hour each, is quite time-consuming.
