Before-meeting:
You have just entered room "valarguildmeetingplace."
VardaValar1 has entered the room.
VardaValar1: Aiya Ar-Pharazon the Golden :-)
ArPharazonV: Aiya!
Eonwe Valar has entered the room.
VardaValar1: How's the comp holding up?
Eonwe Valar: Heya.
VardaValar1: Aiya Eonwe :-)
ArPharazonV: Good! Mostly Windows 8 that's given me most trouble. But I'm getting the hang of it.
VardaValar1: Been wondering what to think of Windows 8, like it might not be for regular folks? Good to hear.
ArPharazonV: Mostly built for smartphones and stuff, it seems.
ArPharazonV: But it's workable, and I already found an app that replaces the Windows 8 startmenu with something resembling the classic startmenu.
VardaValar1: heh
VardaValar1: Sounds like a good thing.
ArPharazonV: In a way, it's still a work in progress: People are finding new ways to customize it and improving on their own customizations. Kind of like WoW, really.
Eonwe Valar: Windows 8 sounds like it'd be interesting to get used to, hehe.
ArPharazonV: It is :-)
ArPharazonV: Well, depends on what you had earlier. I upgraded from XP, so it's a massive change.
VardaValar1: Work in progress, pretty expensive for something incomplete.
ArPharazonV: If you're already at Windows 7, it's not that different.
VardaValar1: Ahh, it would be Mine's Windows 7, which I like.
AriehnV has entered the room.
VardaValar1: XP was good too.
ArPharazonV: Well, on the client side, Varda; I think it's finished in the eyes of Microsoft.
VardaValar1: Aiya Arien :-)
VardaValar1: heh, probably.
AriehnV: aiya :-)
ArPharazonV: Aiya Arien!
AriehnV: .. i meant coming btw in guild chat Phara ;-)
ArPharazonV: Well I log out for the meeting anyway, unless I still have dailies to do :-)
fladrifv has entered the room.
AriehnV: fair enough .. .. i just was respawning from the intance and got over run more or less grin
VardaValar1: Aiya Fladrif :-)
AriehnV: aiya Flad
fladrifv: Aiya steps into the room with sticky branches, trying to eat an advocado as well :-)
ArPharazonV: cannibalism?
VardaValar1: It's just helping the avocado tree pit become free and grow, right? : )
Eonwe Valar: It's not cannibalism when a wolf eats a chicken, so it wouldn't be for a tree to eat an avocado :}
VardaValar1: Good point.
Eonwe Valar: Well, a non-avocado tree anyway :}
fladrifv: the advocado tree was so friendly to give one of his fruits to me
VardaValar1: Nice.
ArPharazonV: "Here, have a kid of mine, I've got plenty anyway."
fladrifv: (an ent meeting an advocado tree is one hell of a roleplay)
top

VardaValar1: Elen sila lumenn' omentielvo!
VardaValar1: Membership:
VardaValar1: We have an ent eating an avocado.
VardaValar1: Phar is getting used to Windows 8, after XP. Rough!
fladrifv: (responsible for both)
ArPharazonV: Otherwise the upgrade's good! Love my new graphics card.
VardaValar1: Eonwe is borrowing a comp to be with us, waiting on his comp.
ArPharazonV: WoW in Ultra, oh yeah
VardaValar1: It's all Fladrif's fault.
ArPharazonV: It is. But we love him for it.
VardaValar1: Right!
VardaValar1: And Arien was just swarmed.
VardaValar1: In other news,
VardaValar1: we have a new member, Baldor-(V)!
VardaValar1: He found us on a wiki. He's a Tolkien fan and the kin idea rekindled his interest in LotRO, which he had left for months, and he came and joined us. He's a lot of fun to chat with, so here's hoping you get to meet him. :-)
VardaValar1: Yep, that Baldor. The body they found in the Paths of the Dead.
AriehnV: ah ah ghost
AriehnV: dwimor dwimor :-(
VardaValar1: A ghost of his former self.
Eonwe Valar: Hail and Welcome to Baldor :}
VardaValar1: Hey, a lot of our members are dead. : )
AriehnV: Welcome to Baldor :-)
ArPharazonV: Hail Baldor!
AriehnV: true enough .. *sens revitalising sunbeams all around*
AriehnV: *sends * even
VardaValar1: Some got stuck in a deep hole. *Eyes Phar*
VardaValar1: Any other Membership news?
ArPharazonV: Good luck reaching me through all that rock.
ArPharazonV: My tan's totally gone.
VardaValar1: Problems, problems!
AriehnV: no problem .. just melting it away
AriehnV: might take a bit
VardaValar1: Arien travels through tunnels to get to the other side of Arda anyway. But don't think she's supposed to drop by your pit.

VardaValar1: Web:
VardaValar1: Deepgroover-(T) sent us a shot of his first 2013 model, a werewolf.
VardaValar1: http://valarguild.org/varda/Tolkien/encyc/art/gallery/DeepGroover/TeenageWerewolf/TeenageWerewolf.htm
VardaValar1: It's not the Teenaged Werewolf from the movie. : )
AriehnV: its a nice piece of work though
AriehnV: I really like Deepgrovers stuff :-)
VardaValar1: He's very talented. You should see his room, mind-boggling.
VardaValar1: Heads on the walls, shelves of models, an amazing desk for his modeling work.
VardaValar1: He leaves the masses of awards elsewhere, takes too much space.
ArPharazonV: Creepy model heads on the walls. Doesn't feel like a good place to wake up in after a chilly nightmare.
Eonwe Valar: Hehe
VardaValar1: He's also considering making his own website, as his fantasy stuff is only a very small amount.
VardaValar1: That would take time from modeling, but if he does, we'll certainly link to it and you can enjoy his other amazing work.
VardaValar1: Assuming you've all taken time to check out the great things Eonwe did with the Games Site. If you have suggestions for things you'd like to see on it, he's right here to take notes.
AriehnV: certainly would be worthwhile it *nod* and knowing you guys you 'd be happy to lend him a hand or two if needed :-)
VardaValar1: Very much so.

VardaValar1: Gaming:
VardaValar1: Any non-WoW, non-LotRO fun and games this past week?
VardaValar1: BroodWar with Fangorn, Sauron, and Varda.
VardaValar1: STO for Sauron
AriehnV: Where is he playing nowadays?
ArPharazonV: Bit of flashgaming, but mostly spent in WoW, visiting things and oggling the fresh greatly detailed graphics.
VardaValar1: A whole new view of the old world!
fladrifv: who where
ArPharazonV: Also a big article on Gamespot for one of the ponygames, Fighting is Magic, if you're interested in finding out what it's all about.
ArPharazonV: http://www.gamespot.com/features/the-most-unlikely-fighter-youve-never-heard-of-6402004/
AriehnV: which server? since STO seemed to contract the servers and moved players from overcrowded to lower populated ones
VardaValar1: Do you mean SWTOR?
AriehnV: aye
VardaValar1: We couldn't get in contact with the people to pay the bill, some weirdness.
VardaValar1: Do you still play, Arien?
VardaValar1: and thanks, Phar. : )
ArPharazonV: As for flashgames, someone in a past meeting mentioned a fantasy defense game called Kingdom Rush, I think?
AriehnV: i had a quick spot back .. but it didnt really attract me and uninstalled it again after 5 mill hours download ^^
ArPharazonV: This week I found a similar one with interesting new mechanics, if people are interested.
AriehnV has left the room.
VardaValar1: Toss us an URL. Never know who's reading.
AriehnV has entered the room.
AriehnV: oops sorry
AriehnV: what did you say Varda?
VardaValar1: Sneaky button
ArPharazonV: http://www.kongregate.com/games/booblycCom/incursion
VardaValar1: Thanks, Phar
VardaValar1: Arien, Sauron couldn't get SWTOR to take his payment.
AriehnV: ah right okay
AriehnV: silly
VardaValar1: Kinmates weren't showing up, but he figured on keeping the kin available, if the game would co-operate. He may try again later.
VardaValar1: Let the servers settle down.
AriehnV: aye

VardaValar1: WoW:
VardaValar1: Any news from the WoW players? We had a surprising lot on last Sunday.
VardaValar1: Oh, Bilbo and Thingol play a lot of Diablo 3. [Note: Eowyn has been playing D3 also.]
VardaValar1: back to WoW.
VardaValar1: We have a special event coming up soon, don't we?
AriehnV: Darkmoon Faire is on again :-)
VardaValar1: That was it, thanks, Arien. : )
VardaValar1: Any other WoW news?
ArPharazonV: 5.2 on test realms?
AriehnV: childrens week coming up at the end of the month i think
ArPharazonV: Winter Veil over?
VardaValar1: Must find an orphan to escort, definitely.
ArPharazonV: I'm wondering if I'm still missing Children's Week pets.
ArPharazonV: Maybe there'll be new ones?
VardaValar1: Possibly.

VardaValar1: LotRO:
VardaValar1: We seem to have a lot more gaming in the middle and low characters now, as well as the 85's doing their usual end-game thing.
VardaValar1: Fangorn and I have been duoing this week, not earth-shattering news, but fun. : )
VardaValar1: So we have a pretty broad spread of players right now, doing all sorts of things.
VardaValar1: Crafting now gives experience if the exp isn't turned off ,which can be startling.
VardaValar1: Tons of changes. Bree really looks different, more functional npc's and a new way into the bank of Vault.
VardaValar1: Moria is now completely revamped.
VardaValar1: *considers starting another new character and slaps own wrist*
VardaValar1: The Yule Festival is over. Watch for the next one to come up.
VardaValar1: Any other LotRO news?
VardaValar1: You are all welcome to pop in even free to play just to say hi. :-)
VardaValar1: We have friend channel, just ask if you need to know how to enter it.
AriehnV: Guardian is 42 now :-)
VardaValar1: Also, to find guildies, type Valar Guild into the filter for Social/Fellowing.
VardaValar1: Grats Arien. :-)
AriehnV: was playing a bit in Forochel to see how she is doing in higher level areas and doing fine :-) no probs with the 45 signatures
VardaValar1: Forochel is a fun region, one of my favorites.
VardaValar1: What is this...snow?
AriehnV: but ran out of quests because of her lower level and returned to angmar for a bit
VardaValar1: Warmed up, at least.
AriehnV: yip :-)
VardaValar1: Any other comments, business, suggestions?

VardaValar1: Tolkien:
VardaValar1: First up, the rp.
VardaValar1: We might see if we can contact Menelvagor. We need to know if he wants to write himself out or be written out or become active again.
VardaValar1: Indis will probably show up again when the rp is active again.
VardaValar1: Eonwe is having comp problems, so we may need to wait until his new computer finally arrives for his next post.
VardaValar1: But we'll be journeying again. : )
AriehnV: i ll be ordering my new pc tomorrow as well :-)
VardaValar1: ohh, nice!
VardaValar1: That's a good start for the new year, Eonwe and Arien and Phar with good computers!
ArPharazonV: Oh yes, and my new dvd drive should be coming in a week or so too. Old one didn't fit anymore, something to do with being an old connection type or something.
VardaValar1: ooops
VardaValar1: If anyone has a Tolkien topic, whisper me.

VardaValar1: We have a topic from Fangorn-(Valar):
VardaValar1: Would Melkor have approved of how Sauron and his other folk handled their business during the time of the Lord of the Rings?
VardaValar1: Fire away at will. : )
ArPharazonV: Well he wouldn't have liked to see Sauron lose, I suppose.
Eonwe Valar: Considering pretty much everything was in Sauron's favor by the time the War of the Ring rolled around, I'd say yes.
VardaValar1: Did what Melkor want match what Sauron wanted?
Eonwe Valar: Sauron had the numbers, had spent 3000 years wittling down his enemies,..
ArPharazonV: Sauron seemed more into conquest, while Melkor was more after destruction. But then again, Melkor also did some conquering and oppressing of his own, and Sauron's track record in destruction wasn't too shabby either *cough*Numenor*cough*
VardaValar1: True. So at least at the start, Melkor/Morgoth would have figured Sauron should be able to do whatever was needed.
VardaValar1: hehe
ArPharazonV: Possibly Melkor would not have approved Sauron putting so much power into a single, ultimately destructable (ible?) object.
VardaValar1: Yet the concept that anyone would destroy it rather than use it was completely foreign to Sauron's thought.
Eonwe Valar: Morgoth was all about subjugating all other wills to his own, so whatever Sauron conquered, would ultimately be under Morgoth's will were he to come back.
VardaValar1: Aye, and Melkor intended to find a way back.
VardaValar1: Moroth had a ring of his own, after a fashion, but hey, what's a little hypocrisy to him? : )
ArPharazonV: I bet he got a kick out of Sauron convincing the Numenoreans to worship Morgoth instead.
VardaValar1: Morgoth's Ring was the whole of Arda.
ArPharazonV: Yes, it was. Which, in the end, is a lot less fragile than the Ring.
VardaValar1: Too true, Ar-Pharazon. : )
VardaValar1: True too, and not many want to destroy it.
VardaValar1: Morgoth was into the destruction of anything that he didn't make, ulitmately. Sauron wasn't. Phar mentioned this earlier.
Eonwe Valar: Aye.
ArPharazonV: Probably because Sauron didn't have as much to his name, creation-wise, as Morgoth did.
VardaValar1: Sauron wanted to keep Arda going, but under his total rule. One wonders how well he would have taken Morgoth's return.
ArPharazonV: If Sauron destroyed everything he didn't make himself, he wouldn't have all that much left.
Eonwe Valar: Sauron paid more attention to the Music than Morgoth did.
VardaValar1: Morgoth wanted all the music to be his, all other music to conform to his. Sauron had a wider view, agreed.
ArPharazonV: You could say Morgoth didn't like the fact that anything did not belong to him in the past, while Sauron was content with ruling the world "from now on".
VardaValar1: Morgoth would have eventually destroyed Arda and even himself. Sauron wanted Arda to remain, yet was loyal to Morgoth.
VardaValar1: Well put.
Eonwe Valar: Well, not himself.
VardaValar1: Yes, Morgoth was a nihilist, would have tried to destroy even himself, because he did not create himself. Not entirely sane.
Eonwe Valar: The best Morgoth could've ever done was break existence into its simplest particles. He could never hope to unmake it, or himself, so his goal was ultimately unatainable.
VardaValar1: Right.
ArPharazonV: So Sauron was more realistic.
VardaValar1: Aye
VardaValar1: Eru worked all things to go his way in the end, no matter how others tried to twist it.
AriehnV: I wonder whether Sauron realised that he did not owe his power to himself and nothing that he would achieve would remain his own
VardaValar1: Still, the Valar seemed to believe that it was possible for Sauron to take over all of Arda and cause a long darkness before the situation improved.
Eonwe Valar: Without their direct intervention.
VardaValar1: Sauron was aware of those greater than himself, and served Morgoth.
Eonwe Valar: The goal, of course, was that Man should be able to identify points of evil and deal with it themselves.
VardaValar1: The Valar were going to have to allow Sauron to do it, because their direct intervention would be too great a power and destroy too many innocents. They worked indirectly to help their brothers handle it and grow up in the process.
VardaValar1: What Eonwe said in fewer words. : )
ArPharazonV: They still intervened, in ways.
ArPharazonV: Gandalf, for one thing.
VardaValar1: The Valar saw the elves and mankind to be their brothers, created by Eru even as themselves.
VardaValar1: Right. Gandalf was a guide for Middle-earth's people, as all the Istari were supposed to be. Imagine if that had played out as intended. with five Gandalfs!
Eonwe Valar: Indirect intervention: they sent the Istari to guide, to encourage, and rally the peoples, not to contest Sauron of their own power.
VardaValar1: Also, they brought the Fellowship together at the Last Homely House, and Elrond realized it. He did not call the Council of Elrond himself.
AriehnV: and artefacts of power like the original Palantiri .. wasnt it said thatr one was used to look beyond Tol Ereassea to Valinor or even before they became gifts to the Numenoreans .. werent they used to keep links with Valinor and the Valar?
VardaValar1: Aye, Eonwe.
VardaValar1: A much more subtle and interesting approach than a bludgeon that they could have done.
Eonwe Valar: There was a Palantir in the Tower Hills, aye.
VardaValar1: Interesting thought, Arien. The Palantiri wound up being used by both sides. Double-edged round objects? : )
ArPharazonV: Gandalf did directly oppose Sauron's forces though, and helped get the Ring moving.
AriehnV: looking both ways eh?
VardaValar1: Each stone saw what was near another stone, like out to Eressea.
VardaValar1: No stone in Valinor, though.
Eonwe Valar: That we know of, hehe.
AriehnV: *grin* which doesnt mean that it didnt exit
AriehnV: exist
VardaValar1: Aye, Phar. When Gandalf turned out to be the only operational Istar, and was badly damaged, they rebuilt him into the white that could do some direct intervention on their behalf.
Eonwe Valar: If I were a Noldo creating things like Palantiri, I'd put one up in Tirion.
VardaValar1: Cirdan looked out to Eressea from the Tower Hills, aye. Might have helped him with the ships too.
ArPharazonV: "Allright, Cirdan, we arrived here safely, feel free to send the next ship."
VardaValar1: There you go, Phar. : )
AriehnV: .. maybe there was one and one jealous Noldo took it with them and so there was none left
AriehnV has left the room.
AriehnV has entered the room.
AriehnV: .. i hate this X ... i bet it was created by Melkor :-(
VardaValar1: Sauron was one of Aule's craftsmen. hmmmm
AriehnV: right what did you answer to my speculation , Varda?
VardaValar1: We know there were seven stones, made by Feanor. They were all accounted for.
AriehnV: *nods*
VardaValar1: "Seven stars, seven stones, and one white tree."
ArPharazonV: That's what Elendil and sons brought with them. We already know there were 8 stones.
ArPharazonV: At least.
VardaValar1: We really do need a good palantiri article. Oddly we talk about doing one but never do. I may have it all wrong.
VardaValar1: Master stone on Eressea, aye.
VardaValar1: Elves gave the Numenoreans their seven seeing stones.
VardaValar1: A gift. The Faithful took them to Middle-earth.
VardaValar1: We're right in Phar's expertise area today. : )
VardaValar1: Back to the original topic, did we decide that Melkor approved of what Sauron was doing, or would have wanted it taken much farther? Did Sauron's desiire for conquest rather than annihilation disturb him, or just useful for later?
ArPharazonV: Anyway, if Morgoth was after the destruction of all things made that weren't his, would he eventually try to get rid of Sauron?
VardaValar1: Aye. Sauron might have disapproved of that idea.
VardaValar1: What a weird battle that could make.
Eonwe Valar: Sauron would probably be able to play well enough to Morgoth's ego to avoid any such fate.
Eonwe Valar: Morgoth of course could no more annihilate Sauron than he could himself.
VardaValar1: If Morgoth was going to destroy anything he didn't make, including himself, he might use Sauron up to a point and save him for nearly the last.
VardaValar1: Sauron was reduced by Frodo and company to a spirit of malice that no longer threatened them as it did. So Morgoth might get that far with the Maiar.
AriehnV: Interesting thought .. War of the Titans ala Tolkien ^^
VardaValar1: Aye, Arien. : )
VardaValar1: Anyone want to try that one for a fan fic? ^^
VardaValar1: But anyway,
VardaValar1: Balrogs didn't seem too smart, might have been in trouble.
Eonwe Valar: It would become an interesting game near the end then, with each of Morgoth's Maiar trying to conserve their power to the greatest extent possible.
ArPharazonV: Conflict between the Maiar, or would they try to band up against Morgoth if it turned out he was going to get rid of them?
VardaValar1: Sauron is quite the organizer, did most of Morgoth's practical work.
AriehnV: hmm one would have to be smart enough to play them out either against each other or be able to provoke them to kill each other without thinking
AriehnV: bit like gandalf with the trolls ;P)
VardaValar1: Aye, Arien. And both Morgoth and Sauron had smarts, knew how to play people.
Eonwe Valar: Morgoth could do it, while he still cared to do it.
VardaValar1: Morgoth in the Void. Would he have been gaining more power there, or be weakened?
Eonwe Valar: He would've been recovering the power he expended. Like everything else in Ea, Melkor would heal, if he could quit gnawing his wounds long enough to do so.
VardaValar1: If Morgoth tried to destroy everything, the Valar would be watching, as they'd know he'd returned from the Void. Manwe even intended to come down from Taniquetil to fight Morgoth, even if he would not land the final killing blow. Tanking Morgoth? : )
Eonwe Valar: hehe
ArPharazonV: Most of his power was locked in Arda though. Would being cut off from it have weakened him?
VardaValar1: So that means a returning Morgoth would be very powerful indeed.
Eonwe Valar: Most of Sauron's power was locked in his Ring. He was still recovering power.
VardaValar1: His power was locked up in Arda, but he could be healing from the loss in the Void.
VardaValar1: Nothing to waste his power on.
ArPharazonV: And if he then came back to Arda, he could get quite the boost.
ArPharazonV: Like Sauron would have with the Ring.
VardaValar1: True that. He would have his Ring back.
Eonwe Valar: When you lose blodd, you make more blood, you don't wait for your old blood to be freed up and re-inserted.
VardaValar1: So healing plus Morgoth's Ring. Very bad. You go first.
VardaValar1: (Sorry, Raider's of the Ark reference.)
Eonwe Valar: Spirit can also grow in power, as shown by guys like Glorfindel.
Eonwe Valar: *Spirits
VardaValar1: Aye, Eonwe. So healing, ring, plus natural growth, and possibly knowing how to augment his own growth.
VardaValar1: Morgoth originally had the starting knowledge of the other Valar.
VardaValar1: The other Valar know he'll come back and are planning for it, so they would be growing their power too.
AriehnV: hmm dont know .. whas Sauron able to heal? .. i mean if he wanted to survive he would need such skills (even though he would use it only to preserve himself and maybe his master)
Eonwe Valar: Tolkien discusses Morgoth and Sauron re: ability to recover.
VardaValar1: Yes, he could heal up and was known to be doing so when he was the Necromancer.
Eonwe Valar: 1.) Morgoth was a greater being originally.
Eonwe Valar: 2.) Sauron *could've* healed, but unlike Morgoth, he for whatever reason wasn't able to pull himself away from his failures and machinations long enough to heal.
Eonwe Valar: This being after the destruction of the Ring.
VardaValar1: The Return of the Shadow.
Eonwe Valar: Had Sauron been able to turn his attention away from those things, he would've been able to recover.
VardaValar1: The Shadow in Dol Guldur was growing in power, known as the Necromancer. He moved to Barad-dur and continued to grow in strength, and called evil things to him, including his Ring.
VardaValar1: Once a large part of himself was destroyed with the One Ring, he would have been badly crippled.
ArPharazonV: Would he not be able to recover from that eventually?
VardaValar1: He might have, but it would take a seriously long time.
Eonwe Valar: I'm pulling my Morgoth/Sauron info from Morgoth's Ring, btw.
VardaValar1: Thanks, Eonwe. : )
Eonwe Valar: Sauron *could've* recovered" but to put it one way, he couldn't leave his wounds alone. Morgoth, a bit smarter, was able to distract himself with other things.
AriehnV: ((slight disgression in sidewindow distracting 'varda with tolkien music .. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRVIVJjuaHE "
VardaValar1: JRRT dabbled with writing another book, but dismissed it as turning into a mere thriller. (We would probably have loved it.)
VardaValar1: hehe, thanks Sunshine
VardaValar1: ok, so how do we say the question is to be answered? Morgoth was or was not pleased with Sauron's work?
VardaValar1: Good as far as it went? : )
ArPharazonV: Good as far as it went, but he'd probably do things differently when he came back.
VardaValar1: Add on to it with serious destruction, as actually happens. Arda is destroyed and will be rebuilt.
Eonwe Valar: Sauron's work ultimately serves Morgoth's purposes, as does all evil. So yes, he'd be pleased.
VardaValar1: That should clear out Morgoth's influence, helping from the start.
VardaValar1: Agreed, Eonwe.
VardaValar1: The rest of you feel the same way? Morgoth is pleased? Except for the little fact that Sauron lost?
ArPharazonV: That works.
VardaValar1: Would Morgoth look for Sauron's spirit of malice and bring it out to serve him again, or slap it silly and shove it in a corner? : )
AriehnV: hmm squeeze the essence out of him .. pour it into a ringform and wear it on his little finger?
VardaValar1: heh
ArPharazonV: He'd probably put him in some abandoned region somewhere to rule over a few orcs.
ArPharazonV: Not rely on him, but get the use out of him that he might.
VardaValar1: Thank you all for weighing in on Fangorn's topic! See you again next week, same Valar channel. And some of you in-game. ; )
AriehnV: err yess maybe pretending to reward him but enough of a humilition to letr him feel his failure
AriehnV: something like that
VardaValar1: Maybe so. And then getting him back to work.
AriehnV: and of course say *And dont fail me again!" in a thunder voice accompanied by fire and lightning .. where 's a whip .. theres a way ;-)
VardaValar1: Aye!
VardaValar1: *gavel rises and falls - what's a little thunderous gavel sound between friends?*
top

VardaValar1: After-meeting!:
VardaValar1: Morgoth's motivational speech, yep.
AriehnV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdXQJS3Yv0Y
VardaValar1: Nice finding job!
ArPharazonV: You know, I don't remember Tolkien explicitly writing in the book that they didn't sing a song at that point.
VardaValar1: hehe
