Tar-Amandil
Amandil was a dunadan and the third King of
Numenor. He was
the grandson of Elros
Tar-Minyatur, and son of Vardamir.
When
Elros was to be suceeded by Vardamir, he refused the sceptre and
passed it to his son, Amandil. Although he never really reigned,
Vardamir was held to be the second King of Numenor.
