The Harvest Festival

by Hoegard Harfoot
October 20, 2012

The changing of leaves the chill air does bring
All the good folk wait for it to begin
The autumn season signals just one thing
The harvest festival is on again!

Merrily rejoice at the tricks and treats
The haunted burrow may give you a fright
Puts all hobbits on the edge of our seats
But warm mugs of cider can set things right

Bobbing for apples is fun if you dare
Pumpkin picking can while away the time
Enjoy the season however you care
So draws to an end my harvest fest rhyme
