Remembered

Alas for the poems with Shire-touched rhyme
What a fine way to pass away the time
Good hobbits frolic at the word crafting game
Seeking for limericks and poems or prose to tame
Mathoms and old books we hoard in great store
Keeping alive the legends of their treasured lore
Our wisdom and knowledge we hope to pass on
And not fade like the night into the gray dawn
Like the most famous of hobbits we simply wish
May all our tales be remember by rhymes such as this.
