O! List well from the safely sheltered hearth
Worry not for grim be a hero's worth

Every hero must answer battle's call
Be it foe or friend one must surely fall

The toll of battles lost and battles won
Whether battles end or battles begun

To see the bold victors go marching past
All battles that are fought must end at last
