Branwyn-(T) became Full Member Mirabella-(V) on
March 12, 2011 after passing a live test over the Lord of the Rings, proving
herself over the years as a nice person to be around, and gaming in
Lord of the Rings Online where she joined our kinship.
Mirabella is also published in Stories
of Arda. She is published here by the author's
permission. Her style often shows warmth and the sudden chill of
dark fantasy.
Most of her tales focus on Faramir, Boromir, and
Denethor.
Stories here are listed in the order they would
have happened in Tolkien's world.
Very short stories and drabbles (100 word
challenge form) and double drabbles (200 words exactly) she has
mostly collected into groups for other sites: "Branwyn's Bijoux",
"Branwyn's Bric-à-Brac", "Branwyn's Baubles", "Branwyn's Bits and
Pieces", and the upbeat "A Handful of Valentines". Here, instead,
the stories are listed chronologically as they would have happened
in Tolkien's world.
2941: Thorin's company sets out, Bilbo finds the
One Ring, Battle of Five Armies, Smaug is destroyed. The White
Council agrees to attack Dol Guldur and Sauron abandons Dol Guldur.
2942: Bilbo takes the One Ring to the Shire.
Sauron enters Mordor.
Denethor: T.A. around 2935-3019. 2984 Ruling
Steward. Died at around 84 years of age.
Finduilas: T.A. 2950-2988. Married Denethor 2976.
Died 12 years afterwards, so her sons were around 10 and 5.
Boromir: T.A. 2978-3019. Died at around 41 years
of age. He got over it.
Faramir: T.A. 2983-F.O. 82. He died at 120 years
of age.
Faramir and Éowyn became engaged Aug. 10, 3019.
March 25, 3021: Beginning of the Fourth Age
according to Gondor. (The earlier leaving of the Ring-bearers is the
end according to the elves.)
Latest updates:
