Overheard outside the Captain’s Quarters…

Elwing, dearest, I assure you our “crow's nest” is not befouled by crebain, and the harsh squawking you heard is but a parrot recently rescued from a pirate by one of my sailors; that greatly patient soul is heartily attempting to teach his poor charge to converse with much politer vocabulary.

So please dim now your most brilliant dawn-shine as my crew perform inefficiently when blinded; come, my sea-dove, relax upon the deck beside me to break fast with fruits, waybread and tea.
