Vána is the younger daughter of Yavanna,
and is just as fond
of living creatures as her more famous elder.
Vána is the
spouse of Oromë the Hunter, who is also called Tauron. When
Oromë goes hunting she tends to the kelvar and olvar, and they
rejoice in her; the
birds sing in her presence, and the flowers bloom to their fullest.
