Tom Huggins
Trolls
Bert, William and Tom Huggins were stone trolls
which terrorized the Trollshaws
area of Rhudaur during the latter part of the 3rd Age.
Over time, the trio acquired several artifacts which
include the Elven swords,
Glamdring and Ocrist, and the Numenorean knife which Bilbo named Sting.
In T.A. 2941, the brothers captured Thorin's company
but, fortunately for
the Dwarves and Bilbo, Gandalf tricked the Trolls into arguing over the
cooking
of the prisoners, and the Huggins brothers were turned to stone by the
rising
sun.
