Bullroarer: Bandobras Took's nickname. He was a
Hobbit of the Shire and
the second son of Thain Isengrim II. When orcs attacked the Shire in
2747, he led a force of hobbits to defeat them and won the Battle of
Greenfields.
He was also the third tallest hobbit in history at
four feet five inches, and was able to ride a horse.
The North-tooks of Long Cleeve are descended from
him.
