The Valar Guild Games Site has been updated! Lots of changes. Among the more significant are:

• Links to other sections of the Valar Guild site are now in a menu at the upper right of the screen.
• Intra-page navigation changed to be simpler and clearer visually.
• Tabbed interfaces better display sections of large amounts of data on certain pages (discussed in the next few items).
• Player Tables for World of Warcraft and Lord of the Rings Online Guild Branches now have a tabbed interface that displays characters by race, class, and profession/vocation, along with the totals for those values.
• Diablo ME Mod and Diablo 2 ME Mod uniques are grouped by equip type as before (armor, weapon, jewelry), and now tabbed by item type (sword, mace, shield, boots, etc.)
• Diablo 2 ME Mod Sets are grouped by set, with each set having a tab for the items and a tab for the set boni.
• Links pages are tabbed for First-party (the developers/creators) and Third-party links (everyone else).
• Member Games, when sorted by honor, are now tabbed by honor.
• Images included with reviews will now appear at the bottom of the review.
• Guild Branch Events pages now organized differently. Images now have captions, and appear below the description of each event.
• Changes made to the formatting of certain archived news files so they could be better read in the current Games Site format.
• "Other Gaming" Menu section now includes "World of Warcraft" and "Lord of the Rings Online" links, providing pages for info on these two games that is not limited to a specific guild branch, i.e., the LotRO Crafting Crit Items page. These pages will remain available through the guild branch submenus as well.
• New link for World of Warcraft section: "World of Warcraft Basics" giving general info for those playing or looking to play WoW. This link is also available in the submenus for the Lothar and Uldaman WoW branches.
• A section on the right of the Games Site has now been utilized to list current and upcoming events for the Valar Guild, including holidays.

World of Warcraft Patch 5.1: Landfall, has been released! New dailies, some quality of life changes, and more! Read the patch notes for more info!

What you won't see in those notes, however, are changes made to when profession cooldowns and farming crops are available. Read this post on the official forums for more on that.

Noticed a few files that didn't quite have the right versions. Now they do.

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria is here!!

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria is out at midnight!!

The Games Site Mass-Update has begun!

All members' gaming info has been wiped clean. All full members are hereby requested to e-mail me (Eonwë) their current gaming info. All members who provided an e-mail have been sent an e-mail. Please send in your gaming info by September 30th. Why? So that you can find other members who play the same games you do, of course :}

Patch 5.0.4 is out! A bunch of changes have been made to the game, so be sure to review the patch notes and see how it affects your characters.

Sauron is seeing a server message in Star Wars: The Old Republic that our official guild server, Rubat Crystal, is being shut down. There is apparently no current list of servers being shut down or servers being kept open available from The Old Republic's Community Site. As soon as we have enough information to act on, we'll know where the new official server is.

The Riders of Rohan NDA has been lifted!

In addition, Turbine has decided to delay release of Riders of Rohan until October 15th. Check out the official announcement for more info. (Thanks to Pippin for helping find the link!)

It's now official! September 25th, 2012 is the release date for Mists of Pandaria! Get your Collector's Edition reserved!

New this time around is the ability to get a "deluxe digital upgrade" for Mists of Pandaria directly from Blizzard, allowing you to get all the digital swag from the Collector's Edition, without the cool physical stuff like the Art book and the soundtrack. Check out the official announcement on the Community Site for more info.

For fun, the LotRO and WoW sortable players tables now offers some stats related to what you're sorting by. Enjoy!
