5:00pm Eastern Daylight Savings Time
Discord: Valar Guild/meeting_place
[5:26 AM]Eönwë Valar: Note to self: look at vault on Tuesday because apparently the RItual Sites count as T12+ delves, and it's telling me on one of my vault spaces I'll get a 263 piece, and can make it a 269 piece with "another T13 delve", while my other vaults are the result of T11 delve runs and say their 259 is the highest reward level.
[5:32 AM]Eönwë Valar: It's seeming to me, this season at least with the midpoint boost, that best thing to do is 4 T11 delves for the crests + bonus roll that gives heroic gear, then fill out vault with Ritual Sites -> T5-4 challenges. Only problem is they're not particularly fast if you want to squeeze the most out of them.
[5:34 AM]Eönwë Valar: Well, not at my current ilvl anyway. We'll see how that improves.
[6:11 AM]Eönwë Valar: In LotRO curiosity, now I want to know why some deluxe Rivendell houses are more expensive than other deluxe Rivendell houses.
[6:26 AM]Eönwë Valar: Guess I'm woefully short of the appropriate currency to buy a Rivendell House. Oh well, was debating on whether to get it with my Elf Champion main or my High Elf Captain anyway. This gives me pretty much forever to decide.
[3:56 PM]Varda: Auros seems to be a good name. : )
[3:57 PM]Varda: Much deeding needs done! I too am in need of more LotRO points. Finishing a deed group for its LP is good because completing the group gives 25. Any of your characters on the same account drop LP into the same pool. Might have to play...
[4:00 PM]Varda: @Bounder @Guild-friend @Maia @Vala Huzzah! Valar Guild meeting time! Drop by and say hi.
[4:00 PM]Varda: Elen sila lumenn' omentielvo!
[4:00 PM]Varda: "A star shines on the hour of our meeting."
[Ar-Pharazon's birthday is this coming week! (Info from After-meeting)
[4:01 PM]Varda: Membership:
[4:01 PM]Arien Valar: aiya )
[4:01 PM]Varda: Here's hoping all that recent rain has left everyone ok. Brought flowers to give you cheer.
[4:01 PM]Varda: Aiya Sunshine 🙂

[4:06 PM]Earendil: Aiya everyone!
[4:06 PM]Varda: Side messages going on, pardon.
[4:07 PM]Varda: Aiya Earendil 🙂
[4:07 PM]Earendil: 😄
[4:07 PM]Eönwë Valar: Heya.
[4:08 PM]Varda: Web News:
[4:08 PM]Varda: We have a new story!
[4:09 PM]Varda: Narn I Auros - No Retreat, No Surrender by Eonwe-(Valar). "In a moment of uncertainty, Auros offers honesty and encouragement."
[4:09 PM]Varda: https://valarguild.org/tolkien/encyc/fiction/authors/Eonwe/stories/NoRetreatNoSurrender.htm
[4:09 PM]Varda: This one is shorter, so it might be read during the meeting. heh
[4:10 PM]Varda: Enjoy!
[4:10 PM]Varda: annnd no eyes on the meeting for a while. We could say almost anything...
[4:10 PM]Eönwë Valar: Morgoth did nothing wrong.
[4:11 PM]Eönwë Valar: You're right, we can say almost anything.
[4:11 PM]Varda: heh
[4:11 PM]Varda: Gaming:
[4:11 PM]Varda: Here's your chance! What games did you all play this past week (that you don't mind us knowing?)
[4:12 PM]Varda: I played LotRO, SC2, Solitaire.
[4:12 PM]Arien Valar: wow , classic, mop classic , midnight ^^
[4:12 PM]Varda: : )
[4:13 PM]Earendil: Lotro and fallout 4.
[4:13 PM]Earendil: Both favorites!
[4:14 PM]Varda: Yay! People had a chance to game!
[4:16 PM]Arien Valar: hmmm @ Eonwe aye nought wrong with destroying a world just for destructions sake .. the Old Gods of Azeroth at least used the faint excuse of recreating a world to their liking but , as you say , nought wrong ^^
[4:16 PM]Varda: I'm going out on a limb and saying Pallando played Eve Online. : )
[4:16 PM]Earendil: 😆
[4:18 PM]Varda: One thing about Tolkien, with so many characters, a lot of them have the same first letter or group of letters.
[4:18 PM]Varda: Met people utterly confused by Sauron and Saruman, heh.
[4:18 PM]Arien Valar: nope i meant eonwe alright
[4:18 PM]Arien Valar: hehe
[4:18 PM]Varda: ahh, Morgoth comment!
[4:18 PM]Arien Valar: yup
[4:18 PM]Varda: uh oh! People reading the comments we expected them not to see!
[4:19 PM]Varda: Eonwe, feel free to catch this handy gavel and give Gaming!
[4:19 PM]Varda: toss
[4:22 PM]Eönwë Valar: Real like does the same, it's just we have more complete languages and more of them so to loan stems back and forth so we do run into alot of say "Cris"-themed names, but we could get Christopher, Christina, Crispin, Cristian, etc. Or Anthony, Annette, Anson, etc.
[4:23 PM]Eönwë Valar: Anyway,..

[4:30 PM]Varda: Any other gaming news?
[4:30 PM]Varda: And here we are, right at the middle of meeting time, right when we should be doing Tolkien!
[4:30 PM]Varda: Sooo,
[4:30 PM]Varda: on to
[4:30 PM]Varda: Tolkien!
[4:31 PM]Varda: Arien, you had some interesting Tolkien news?
[4:31 PM]Varda: (It's all interesting! Hobbyists.)
[4:32 PM]Arien Valar: yes , I want to mention an Audiobook version of the Lord of the Rings on you tube that i listen to at the moment. You might be familiar with the reader - a certain Andy Selkis 🙂
[4:32 PM]Arien Valar: he is doing awesome voices, you can hear the races, feelings . just great
[4:32 PM]Arien Valar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MK6n1PydoY&t=19757s
[4:33 PM]Sandalf13: Serkis?
[4:33 PM]Varda: He played Gollum
[4:33 PM]Varda: Aye, you meant spelling, pardon.
[4:33 PM]Arien Valar: that is the link .. i d recommend just listening to it as the visuals are a bit distracting
[4:34 PM]Arien Valar: But i love it else 🙂
[4:34 PM]Varda: hmm. Video unavailable.
[4:35 PM]Varda: This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Recorded Books, Inc.
[4:35 PM]Sandalf13: Ay de mi!
[4:35 PM]Varda: Anyone else able to access?
[4:35 PM]Sandalf13: Nope
[4:35 PM]Varda: Guess we'll just have to buy that audio book. : )
[4:35 PM]Arien Valar: weird .. i am listening to it at the moment but if i follow the link thats coing up now
[4:36 PM]Varda: You may have it cached on your computer?
[4:36 PM]Arien Valar: as unavailable
[4:36 PM]Sandalf13: Perhaps copyright laws are different in the U.K.
[4:36 PM]Varda: It did sound like a copyright violation.
[4:37 PM]Varda: So, maybe it's downloaded to your computer. That should let you continue to enjoy.
[4:37 PM]Arien Valar: oh well i ll see tomorrow when i continue to listen .. because i wont get far tonight ^^
[4:37 PM]Varda: : )
[4:38 PM]Sandalf13: BTW - Tomorrow is the Tolkien Society Big Read for Part II of The Hobbit.
[4:38 PM]Varda: Enjoy, Sandalf : )
[4:38 PM]Varda: Eru-(Valar) was and I guess is still a member of the Tolkien Society as well.
[4:39 PM]Varda: Next topic!
[4:39 PM]Varda: I kept going around with things related to this idea and figured out this is the meat of it:
[4:39 PM]Varda: Earendil's story is very important to the fate of everyone in Middle-earth. Why?
[4:39 PM]Earendil: I'm awesome?
[4:40 PM]Earendil: Or...other Earendil?
[4:40 PM]Sandalf13: Well...he was the father of Elros and Elrond, after all...
[4:42 PM]Earendil: Honestly though I see it as my favorite because it's both a tale of love and perseverance.
[4:42 PM]Varda: Well, yes, you're both awesome.
[4:42 PM]Earendil: 😂
[4:42 PM]Varda: Hey, I've met you! We know it's true. : )
[4:43 PM]Sandalf13: I am sure it is,
[4:43 PM]Arien Valar: he was the only Mortal . well sort of Mortal , who was negotiating on behalf of the .. was it numenorians or was it Noldo .. i can t remember i have to admit .. I just know that he was the one to negiotiate for some evil deed to the Valar ..
[4:44 PM]Sandalf13: Earendil spoke on behalf ob BOTH Elves and Men...he recalled to the Valar the plight of both the First Born and the Second Born...that is one reason the Valar finally decided to heed his petition/plea.
[4:44 PM]Eönwë Valar: Earendil had the blood of the Noldor and Edain.
[4:44 PM]Arien Valar: ah well so both 🙂
[4:44 PM]Arien Valar: my memory isn t that bad then
[4:45 PM]Varda: He was the first to be able to speak for both Man and Elf, right.
[4:45 PM]Varda: Without that, his plea could not work.
[4:46 PM]Earendil: These. These are ALL the reasons I love his tale.
[4:46 PM]Sandalf13: Yet he was denied the chance to return to Middle-earth, but was doomed to sail the skies until the end of Arda...at least he could see his beloved wife Elwing, and his star gave hope to the Elves and Men of Middle-earth.
[4:46 PM]Varda: It had it all. Saving the world, romance...
[4:47 PM]Varda: And he could fight! 'ware, Ancalagon the Black Dragon!
[4:47 PM]Sandalf13: Good thing he was up there, too...he dealth the killing blow to Ancalagon the Black.
[4:47 PM]Varda: Aye
[4:47 PM]Sandalf13: You beat me to it, Varda!
[4:47 PM]Varda: But you said what he did. : )
[4:47 PM]Arien Valar: he became a star because they worked a silmaril in a circlet that he wore on a circlet or so I imagine at least
[4:48 PM]Sandalf13: Very true, Arien.
[4:48 PM]Varda: Aye, he wore the silmaril on his brow, as they put it. A circlet. Visible afar.
[4:48 PM]Earendil: His tale never really stopped either. Elrond and Elros carry his tale forward to the end of Tolkiens writing.
[4:48 PM]Varda: Other stars had ships made for them. He had his own!
[4:48 PM]Sandalf13: And so the Silmarils landed up just as it would prophesized they would...one in the heavens, one in the seas, and one in the Earth.
[4:49 PM]Sandalf13: was prophesized
[4:49 PM]Varda: Ancestor of Aragorn and of Arwen
[4:50 PM]Arien Valar: topic of an Epic poem that a certain Bilbo Baggins wrote
[4:50 PM]Varda: He was everywhere!
[4:50 PM]Varda: He was in the nick of time, too.
[4:51 PM]Varda: The Akallabeth has a short version of the story, a summary. Feel free to flesh it out.
[4:51 PM]Varda: Quote:
["...when the victory of Morgoth was almost complete, he (Earendil) built his ship Vingilot,...and voyaged upon the unsailed seas, seeking ever for Valinor; for he achieved his quest after long labours and many perils, and from Valinor there came the host of the Lords of the West. But Earendil never came back to the lands that he loved."
[End quote.
[4:51 PM]Sandalf13:YouTube - Tolkien Untangled - The Elven Royal Family - How is EVERYONE related?
[4:52 PM]Earendil: 👍
[4:52 PM]Arien Valar: uh gosh those middle ones look like the awful Amazon version 😮
[4:53 PM]Earendil: They are, I recognize the actors.
[4:53 PM]Varda: third one for sure
[4:54 PM]Sandalf13: Yup. But the video is STILL good, and discusses the subject of today's discourse...Earendil.
[4:54 PM]Varda: Aye, we just tend to back up a step when we see RoP. Need pics from somewhere!
[4:54 PM]Sandalf13: The video goes all the way through Elven Royalty to the birth of Eldarion.
[4:54 PM]Varda: Mention all the blonde sisters? : )
[4:55 PM]Sandalf13: Yes.
[4:55 PM]Sandalf13: And starts with Finwe, Ingwe, and Olwe.
[4:55 PM]Arien Valar: very nice 🙂
[4:55 PM]Sandalf13: Quite a temporal span, yes?
[4:55 PM]Arien Valar: indeed
[4:55 PM]Varda: JRRT was amazing, for sure. : )
[4:55 PM]Varda: A follow-up:
[4:55 PM]Varda: What was given to Numenor and the Numenoreans in the gift of thanks? And why was the gift given?
[4:56 PM]Sandalf13: A VERY long life?
[4:56 PM]Eönwë Valar: Well, the Numenoreans were given Numenor, and Numenor was given.... dancing bears? :}
[4:56 PM]Varda: That was part of it! Aye (to Sandalf)
[4:56 PM]Arien Valar: The Palantiri
[4:57 PM]Eönwë Valar: More seriously: The White Tree. Also calm seas. Can't underestimate the boon that is.
[4:57 PM]Varda: Great for an island full of mariners.
[4:58 PM]Sandalf13: The Elves also gave the Numenoreans a deeper appreciation of art, music, and culture in general. Art includes architecture, and it is interesting how most renderings of Numenorean architecture and art show incredibly strong Elven influence. Their building styles were very similar.'
[5:01 PM]Varda: The Elves also came to visit for a good long while, sometimes bearing gifts.
[5:01 PM]Sandalf13: They still came to visit, thopugh clandestinely, once the majority of the Numenoreans began to turn to evil. They visited the Lords of Andunie almost up until "The End."
[5:03 PM]Eönwë Valar: YouTube - Linkin Park - In The End - Official HD Music Video]
[5:03 PM]Eönwë Valar: Or if you prefer: YouTube - 215Days - The Doors - The End
[5:03 PM]Earendil: Ouch.
[5:04 PM]Earendil: 😂
[5:06 PM]Varda: As Arien mentioned the Palantiri from Valinor, the Elves gave some to Amandil for the Faithful before the Elves were no longer welcome on Numenor. Seven were taken by Elendil to Midde-earth during the evacuation from the sinking.
[5:06 PM]Varda: So some gifts were ongoing, not just a one-shot.
[5:07 PM]Earendil: A people truly blessed with many gifts and beset by a powerful foe.
[5:07 PM]Varda: Aye.
[5:07 PM]Varda: They earned them.
[5:08 PM]Varda: We have reached the hour.
[5:08 PM]Varda: the gavel comes to the hammerpad, bearing cookies
[5:08 PM]Varda: munnch!
[5:09 PM]Eönwë Valar: Bilbo makes a terrifying grab.
[5:09 PM]Varda: After-meeting!
[5:09 PM]Varda: hehe
[5:09 PM]Earendil: Lol.
[5:09 PM]Arien Valar: hehe
[5:09 PM]Sandalf13: One of the saddest legends at the end of the Third Age was that the Elves took the remaining Palintir in the White Towers at the Gray Havens, thus removing the Palintir that Elendil used to gaze upon the Uttermost West after the downfall of Numenor.
[5:10 PM]Eönwë Valar: I was under the impression there were no takesies-backsies.
[5:10 PM]Eönwë Valar: Shame on those elves.
[5:10 PM]Sandalf13: There is a lot of fan fiction that before that Palintir was taken, Aragorn Elessar had a glimpse of the Uttermost West through Elendil's palantir.
[5:11 PM]Sandalf13: That was the ONLY Palintir that looked in only ONE direction: towards the West.
[5:11 PM]Eönwë Valar: I want to say that one of the versions of a tale in UT suggests that he did.
[5:12 PM]Arien Valar: right friends, it is that time for the sun to go down in glory
[5:12 PM]Eönwë Valar: My copy is buried under other books though, and I don't need to go digging for it right now.
[5:13 PM]Sandalf13: Before you go...I must post a photo from today's Cinco de Mayo Celebration in Denver, if I may.
[5:13 PM]Varda: You can. It's After-meeting
[5:13 PM]Sandalf13: Discord Image
[5:13 PM]Eönwë Valar: But it's Tres de Mayo. How can you celebrate two days early?
[5:13 PM]Varda: And there you are! 🙂
[5:13 PM]Sandalf13: Complete with geologic hammer, Brunton compass, et al.
[5:14 PM]Sandalf13: Well...most visitors could not make it on a weekday, so...
[5:14 PM]Eönwë Valar: Ready to take action.
[5:14 PM]Varda: The suggestion that Feanor made the Palantiri looks to me to be in the Sil, "Of Feanor".
[5:14 PM]Varda: Quote:
[And other crystals he made also, wherein things far away could be seen small but clear, as with the eyes of the eagles of Manwe."
[5:16 PM]Sandalf13: One of the "lesser" creations of Feanor, after the Silmarils, huh?
[5:16 PM]Arien Valar: Nice picture, sandalf 🙂 Namarie for now
[5:16 PM]Sandalf13: Namarie Arien!
[5:16 PM]Varda: Namarie, Arien!
[5:17 PM]Varda: This quote comes after Feanor's early work, which was also wonderful.
[5:18 PM]Sandalf13: Didn't Gandalf one remark how he would have loved to look in a Palintir, to perhaps gain a glimpse of the incredible mind and art of Feanor at work?
[5:19 PM]Sandalf13: And he was there when it all happened, even so! I wonder if the Valar or the Maiar ever gave thought to what Feanor was up to when he was busy with his creations...
[5:23 PM]Varda: The division of the stones (Palantiri) is in the Sil, "Of the Rings of Power and the Third Age"
[5:23 PM]Varda: Pardon, using indices and actual books can be slow.
[5:23 PM]Varda: This is article territory, really.
[Three stones to Elendil, two to each son
[5:26 PM]Sandalf13: But the biggest, most powerful stone that could view all the others at the same time was located in Osgiliath. THat would have been one of the two stones given to Isildur...he put the other stone in Minas Ithil, and so Sauron could capture it when he took that city.
[5:26 PM]Sandalf13: Anarion's two stones landed up in Minas Tirith and Orthanc.
[The Seeing Stone of Emyn Beraid where Elendil would look out sometimes showed the Tower of Avallone on Eressea where the Masterstone was, and yet abides.
[5:27 PM]Sandalf13: I meant the most powerful stone of the Seven given to ELendil, that is all.
[5:28 PM]Varda: Not arguing, just typing what I''m finding. I should have looked back at what you wrote first, pardon.
[5:29 PM]Sandalf13: So theoretically, the Valar,, Maiar, and the Elves in the West could still look back to Middle-earth in the Fourth Age (and after) since one operable and one inoperable(?) Palintirs still remained in Middle-earth.
[Elendil set his stones in Emyn Beraid, Amon Sul, and Annuminas.
[Palantir of his sons were at Minas Ithil and Minas Anor, Orthanc and Osgiliath.
[5:30 PM]Varda: and then more movement. That's just the first division in Middle-earth.
[5:37 PM]Varda: Namarie for now
[5:37 PM]Sandalf13: Namarie for me too! Dinner calls.
[5:38 PM]Eönwë Valar: I too must be off. Take care all, good night, sleep well, have fun, and enjoy the stories from this week and last.
[11:34 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Aiya, reading up.
[11:42 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Hearthstone class sets look interesting. 500 more gold than the mini-sets though, will need to save up more!
[11:54 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: The way it's phrased above, about the Elves gifting the Palantiri to Numenor and Elendil taking 7 of them east, makes me wonder if there were more of them that were lost in the downfall.
[May 4, 2026
[12:01 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: UT: "One only remained in the North, the Elendil Stone on Emyn Beraid, but this was one of special properties, and not employable in communications. Hereditary right to use it would no doubt still reside in the 'heir of Isildur', the recognized chieftain of the Dunedain, and descendant of Arvedui. But it is not known whether any of them, including Aragorn, ever looked into it, desiring to gaze into the lost West."
[12:43 AM]Eönwë Valar: With all these Ninja Turtle things, they really just need to give us playable Tortollans already.
[12:44 AM]Eönwë Valar: Bonus points if they introduce the "Ninja" class along with them.
[12:44 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Eh, sounds like a rogue/monk hybrid to me 😄
[12:45 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Would tortollans wear their chestpiece over or under the shield?
[12:45 AM]Eönwë Valar: Reality-> Over the shell. Cartoon logic -> under the shell.
[12:46 AM]Eönwë Valar: Maybe rather than a traditional chest armor, the shell changes, heh. I don't think they'd like the work that would take though.
[12:47 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Interesting option.
[12:47 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: At least cloaks would go over it.
[12:48 AM]Eönwë Valar: Bah, the Savage Crimson Battle Turtle mount has cannons, and the mountspecial doesn't fire them off. Missed opportunity.
[12:49 AM]Eönwë Valar: Yeah, cloaks would have to go over the shell.
[12:49 AM]Eönwë Valar: Although, there is a turtle-shell cloak, so it'd look funny to have a shell on top of a shell.
[12:50 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Shells all the way down.
[12:51 AM]Eönwë Valar: hehe
[12:52 AM]Eönwë Valar: I've never seen as many Darkmoon Cards as I have this expansion. Too bad they don't sell better, but that I'm seeing so many is probably why they don't.
[1:04 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Hmm, had a few just dropping as I was doing quests. Haven't had that in a long time.
[1:04 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Anyway, I'm crashing, gonna nap for a few hours. Gaming report after!
[1:04 AM]Eönwë Valar: I would say I must've seen about 20 total.
[1:04 AM]Eönwë Valar: Sleep well Phar.
[1:05 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Thanks 🙂
[5:29 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Personal gaming report:
[5:30 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: For (non)flashgaming, I'll give you Rhomb this week!
[5:33 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: A smaller puzzle game where you have a tangle of rhombuses that you need to untie, made by the maker of one of my favorite puzzle series, unpuzzle.
[5:37 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Starts out simple enough, but you need to make sure you don't play them while they're blocked by others, and there's also paired ones that go at the same time, resting stops for some along the middle, and alternating blockades that allow you to play them in some turns but not other turns.
[5:37 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: So you need to figure out the order by trial and error!
[5:41 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: I mean, you can technically figure it all out from the start, but that's a lot to keep track of 🙂
[5:42 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Blizzard gaming:
[5:43 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Hearthstone:
[Level 78 on the track now. About the usual pace at this stage.
[5:44 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Got enough gold to buy a skin from the shop, and of the available ones I thought Shadow-touched Xyrella for priest looked the nicest, so I did that.
[5:50 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: But now I know that the class sets costs 2500 gold total rather than the mini-set's 2000... for less cards. Higher quality, true, but still... or is it inflation...? I suppose you can choose to only buy cards from the classes you play if you're selective like that, but as a collector I'm... eh. In any case, I'll have to save up 500 more gold now before I buy a skin.
[5:54 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Just realized it also means there won't be neutrals from the non-expansion sets. That seems weird.
[5:55 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Anyway! Completed the Battle in the Firelands quest event, getting some expansion cards, golden versions of them, a new coin, and the Firelands Malfurion druid skin.
[5:56 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Epilogue text says we'll be taking the fight to Deathwing next. But the class sets are also coming out this week, so I suspect the weekly quests will also be tied to these four classes.
[5:57 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Brawl is Dual Class Deckbuilding: Pick your class, then choose another class to be able to add cards from both.
[5:59 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: I'm not exactly sure which two classes combine the best to be overpowered, but a common strategy is to pick mechanics with limited cards that multiple classes contain multiple versions of. Double heralds or double imbues, for example.
[6:00 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: So I checked the classes of which I have the most herald cards, which was death knight and demon hunter, and later in the week I switched to an imbue deck with paladin and priest. I think I like the imbue better.
[6:01 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Good thing to know for that, however, the imbued ability will alternate between the 2 classes for each imbue you play, so might want to be careful with that.
[6:02 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Warcraft Rumble:
[No new collection level.
[6:02 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: No quality upgrades either, since gold was low this reset, with a dungeon family with less leaders, and start of the month giving early login rewards of lower quality.
[6:03 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Spent a bit on a few beneficial offers in the grid like bonus experience or 4 stars for the price of 3, those are usually worth getting anyway.
[6:05 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: The May login reward track has started, and the reward hero skin at the end of the month is probably my favorite so far! Jaina gets her "daughter of the sea" BfA look, braids and all.
[6:06 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: I loved her new look when that original WoW expansion came out, and I can't wait to use it in Rumble.
[6:12 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: One good thing that came out of this week is that I decided to push the heroic sigil campaign, sometimes doing multiple fights a day. Defeated Brumeran the chimaera with all remaining families, and Starblaze and Omnuron, the druid pair, with 4 families. This puts me at 156 sigils, and 16 fights remaining in the campaign.
[6:14 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Tried a few times at heroic Innkeeper Allison at the Siege of Stormwind, but no luck. Seems more proper to complete the campaign first anyway, maybe even defeat Onyxia first. So let's see how far we get that way!
[6:14 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: WoW:
[6:16 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: ...Yeah, basically a complete bust. My health dipped a bit this week and I basically spent my WoW time asleep. Though I also spent more time at my parents, and watched some movies I had recorded.
[6:18 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Got a bit of trading post progress, but didn't poke Children's Week at all - there'll be other years, and if I don't have the energy for story, I also don't have it for this event - and barely got anything done in Harandar. No new level either.
[6:18 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Might be my least WoW-y week in years, not counting short vacations.
[6:18 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Not happy about this, but I know my health comes first.
[6:19 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Maybe next week will be different, though I'll be spending my birthday at my parents' as well, so we'll see.
[6:20 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: And that'll be my report for the week!
[6:20 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Namarie
[6:25 AM]Eönwë Valar: Sleep well, get healed up.
[10:39 AM]Varda: May your health improve. And Happy upcoming Birthday!
