[12:00 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: It's week 2 of the CATACLYSM pre-expansion quest event, Wave 1 - Fire and Storm, wherein we face Ragnaros and Al'akir. Completing the track for it has given me golden versions of the new spell, as well as the shaman hero skin for this version of Ragnaros.
[12:04 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: According to the quest text, Al'akir is dispersed and Ragnaros has retreated, but will be back later. As for who will be next? For those not aware of Warcraft lore - or the announced rewards schedule - might think that water and earth are next, but those elemental lords are actually quite friendly, and instead the next wave appears to be centered around Cho'gall and the Twilight Cult. The same people who have reformed in current WoW to follow Xal'atath. Blizzard does like to coincide elements that are actually years apart!

[12:11 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: In the heroic sigil campaign, I finished Omnotron with all remaining families. I did need to use some non-standard leaders, though, since the electrified ground tends to take care of weaker ground minions. For Blackrock I went Rend for all air and for Undead I chose Arthas for some tougher undead friends.
[12:12 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: In any case, we're at 152 sigils now, and Thaurissan will be next! Flavor text indicates that he summons molten giants now instead of fire elementals. I might have to add banshees back for this in order to swoop them up to my side.

[12:15 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: No raiding yet, though Midnight's getting closer! I know Eonwe's gotten his Collector's Edition (where's mine, Amazon UK?) and I know several people who are looking forward to the pre-order early access starting in a few days.

[12:17 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: With a lack of weekly quests, though you can questlessly do some timewalks this week, I focused on the holiday events going on.
[12:18 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: For the Love is in the Air event, I got all the tokens needed, and killed the apothecaries just enough times to get the Proto-drake love armor, as well as the new Spring Butterfly mount. And I've spent the tokens to get all the new appearances: an Ornaments of the Spring Butterfly set, and 5 Spring Butterfly weapons. There might be a theme to this, this year...
[12:22 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: For the Lunar Festival, I've gone out to collect all the Coins of Ancestry in the world for some new appearances as well. There's exactly 100 coins to be got per character this time around, and 200 needed for all the new stuff. They're all readily available from old dungeons and outdoor locations as well, except one in Wintergrasp that requires your faction to control the zone, and you might need certain a certain level to make it to later expansions' continents. But I managed 100, and combined with the 91 I found remaining in my bank, that's enough for almost all the stuff.
[12:25 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: For the final item, costing 25 coins, I had to use an alt. And between the spring butterfly stuff going around and me looking at pictures of the fairy Navi based on a recent conversation I had with Eonwe, I was in the mood to use one of my newer alts Calelsioca to collect them. She certainly looks like she could be a butterfly fairy! (Discord image may not show.)
[12:27 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: So the frosty dragon in disguise travelled across the Eastern Kingdoms - and a bit of Borean Tundra - to grab coins from 25 outdoor elders, avoiding dungeons for her own safety, and made it from level 17 to 20 along the way.
[12:29 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Elsi then used her coins to buy the Sunny Pack of Lunar Explosives cloak appearance, leaving all the other new rewards for my main to get with 175 coins. I'll get on that this week. Love is in the Air might be ending, but Lunar Festival's still got a week to go.
