[8:54 PM]Eönwë Valar: -----------------------------
[All secondary stats granted in Legion Remix now ignore their diminishing returns and hard caps. -------------------------------
[Ought to add to the fun.
[9:43 PM]Eönwë Valar: Wonder if that means the top cap too. Imagine getting 700% mastery, heh.
[September 11, 2025
[1:13 AM]Eönwë Valar: The most annoying part of jump puzzles is how easy it is to slip off when you finally land where you want.
[12:02 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Hmm, gimme 700% haste.
[3:10 PM]Eönwë Valar: 700% versatility would be interesting. 700% flat damage boost and 350% damage taken reduction.
[3:10 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Ooh
[11:45 PM]Eönwë Valar: Heh, Discord just threw a background color gradient at me to play with, then when I picked one and closed it, to no one's surprise, it disappeared, essentially saying "Buy me!"
[September 13, 2025
[4:46 AM]Eönwë Valar: Blizzard has some wallpapers promoting the new expansion here
[4:47 AM]Eönwë Valar: When you save the link for the wallpaper, it saves as jpeg. When you click on it to bring it up in a different window, it claims it's a PNG but trying to save it saves as an AVIF.
[4:51 AM]Eönwë Valar: If you use Microsoft Photos and you download the AVIF version, it may prompt you to download the extension from the Microsoft Store to be able to see it. Just FYI.

[1:35 AM]Eönwë Valar: 700 ilvl with Ann and still can't manage to clear 8-mask Horrific Vision Revisited Stormwind.
[1:36 AM]Eönwë Valar: Did ok up until the Mage District then everything fell apart.
[3:59 PM]Varda: Aiya
[3:59 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Aiya!

[4:02 PM]Arien Valar: Aiya from the new house from the mobile between boxes،
[4:02 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Aiya!
[4:02 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Greetings to the boxes
[4:02 PM]Varda: O wow!
[4:02 PM]Varda: A box seat and box table? : )
[4:03 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: And box cutlery!
[4:03 PM]Varda: Grats on being in your very own new house!
[4:03 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Yes, grats
[4:04 PM]Arien Valar: The only one having lots of fun with those boxes is Ajira hehe
[4:05 PM]Varda: At least that's one. : )
[4:06 PM]Varda: Kids and pets love a box to play in. We adult types would never admit to it, of course.
[4:06 PM]Arien Valar: Akirs imean
[4:06 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: builds a pillow fort
[4:06 PM]Varda: hehe
[4:07 PM]Arien Valar: Got a chair and table tho
[4:07 PM]Varda: Upscale of you!
[4:08 PM]Arien Valar: And a bed of course
[4:08 PM]Varda: Nice : )
[4:08 PM]Arien Valar:
[4:08 PM]Varda: So that's where the other pillow fort is that Phar is sending rubber bands towards?
[4:09 PM]Sauron: Lurks behind everyone looking over shoulders totally innocent
[4:09 PM]Varda: A dark cloud is approaching in the sky...
[4:09 PM]Varda: Aiya Sauron!
[4:09 PM]Arien Valar: Hehe virtual pillow fight
[4:10 PM]Varda: Does Sauron also throw pillows?
[4:10 PM]Sauron: Me? of course not! Sign behind him selling pillows
[4:10 PM]Varda: Ah hah! Arms dealer!
[4:10 PM]Varda: Should have known.
[4:10 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: That's how you get profit out of war. Supply to both sides.
[4:11 PM]Varda: heh
[4:11 PM]Sandalf13: Aiya all...sorry I am late...but on the road again. Will have to leave soon.
[4:11 PM]Sauron: Yes... both sides... Making deals with a third and fourth party
[4:11 PM]Varda: eep!
[4:11 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Aiya!
[4:11 PM]Eönwë Valar: Heya.
[4:11 PM]Varda: Aiya Eonwe : )
[4:12 PM]Arien Valar: Aiya all loggers
[4:12 PM]Sandalf13: Congrats, Arien.
[4:12 PM]Sandalf13: Hope everything goes smoothly.
[4:12 PM]Varda: Aiya Sandalf : )
[4:12 PM]Varda: Smooth as pillow fights allow.
[4:15 PM]Arien Valar: Aye just a short hop in tonight as disc is hard to type so Namarie for now
[4:15 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Namarie, and good luck with the boxes!
[4:15 PM]Varda: Thank you for going through the trouble! Good fortune!
[4:15 PM]Varda: So good to hear you made it. : )
[4:15 PM]Eönwë Valar: Take care Arien.
[4:16 PM]Arien Valar: M
[4:16 PM]Varda: Any other membership news while we give Arien a break for real life?
[4:17 PM]Varda: Good to see Phar able to be with us this early, and really everyone! Takes effort to be here. Much appreciated.
[4:17 PM]Varda: Web:
[4:18 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Hmm, getting my health stuff under control, which is good. Was even able to join most of the WoW raid earlier tonight.
[4:18 PM]Varda: This is also a form of Membership news, so happens. We have a new Tolkien-only: Orodreth-(T).
[4:18 PM]Varda: O wonderful for quality of life, Phar! Getting out of that hole in Valinor. : )
[4:18 PM]Varda: The new member looked at our list of requested articles and chose to give us this:
[4:19 PM]Varda: "Túvo"
[4:20 PM]Varda: Such articles are wonderful to add to our main guild job of the Tolkien Encyclopedia (something we make, not just gaming), and to aid our gaming members when they are trying to understand their own characters. A good resource to look them up, to choose a name, to play that person in rp. : )
[4:21 PM]Varda: A Guild has a craft. We have two, really: Tolkien and Gaming with fellowship entwined between.
[4:21 PM]Varda: Speaking of gaming...
[4:21 PM]Varda: o wait
[4:22 PM]Varda: One more Web item that concerns all of you : )
[4:22 PM]Varda: The Anniversary page is up!
[4:22 PM]Varda: At least the early version, heh
[4:23 PM]Varda: 28th Anniversary of the Valar Guild
[4:23 PM]Varda: It is currently graced with that fun video from Kelliewyn, Guild-friend, of the "moving tree". (note: listed under "Art".)
[4:23 PM]Varda: Enjoy! Worth re-watching. : )
[4:23 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: I like that video. It actually looks like it's taking steps.
[4:24 PM]Varda: Aye!
[4:25 PM]Varda: And it fit with our theme so perfectly. : )
[4:25 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: YouTube - "The Last March of the Ents"" for accompanying music
[4:25 PM]Varda: ah hah!
[4:25 PM]Eönwë Valar: Not seeing the moving tree.
[4:25 PM]Varda: Do you see the reel and movement?
[4:26 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Hmm, was wondering if it was just my browser. I had to click on the link at the bottom for it to go directly to the facebook post.
[4:26 PM]Varda: It is in the background of the picture, which hides what is moving it.
[4:26 PM]Varda: hmm
[4:27 PM]Varda: I clicked on the link for the video reel and went right to it. Should it be done differently?
[4:28 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Well, I assumed you wanted it actually embedded into the top of the page.
[4:28 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Unless that wasn't the point.
[4:28 PM]Varda: The top was going to be a drawing from one of you fine folk, I hoped.
[4:28 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Ah, fair enough. I'd better get on it when I have some time this week
[4:28 PM]Varda: I could embed it where it is, if that would help.
[4:29 PM]Varda: I'm hoping you'll have competition, maybe from Elwing or others. Be good for you!
[4:29 PM]Eönwë Valar: OK so the blank image isn't supposed to be the moving tree.
[4:30 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Oh, sure, I wouldn't want to feel entitled to the spot
[4:30 PM]Varda: Right. That's a space to put something cool in, though, like the other sections that are blank.
[4:31 PM]Eönwë Valar: OK.
[4:31 PM]Varda: This is our worksheet for our fun. : )
[4:31 PM]Varda: Onwards!
[4:31 PM]Varda: tosses the gavel to Eonwe. wheeee!
[4:31 PM]Varda: Gaming!
[4:32 PM]Varda: (Would we play? um. Definitely!)
[4:33 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: YouTube - Pinkie Clones
[4:33 PM]Varda: oboy. My fix for the > signs overrode the already fixed ones. Sorry. I'll try to fix the fix. Later.
[4:34 PM]Eönwë Valar: First, the GSMU e-mails should go out tonight. As usual responses need to be in by September 30th. Once e-mails are out you can send replies by any of the usual channels.
[4:34 PM]Varda: (The fix covered over 30,000 of these so oboy.)
[4:35 PM]Varda: Sept 30. Ok.
[4:35 PM]Eönwë Valar: World of Warcraft:
[4:35 PM]Eönwë Valar: This week's bonus event: Delves.
[This week's PvP Brawl: Classic Ashran.
[4:35 PM]Eönwë Valar: Check out WoW Weekly for anything not mentioned above.
[4:36 PM]Eönwë Valar: Check out this week's hotfixes.
[4:36 PM]Eönwë Valar: Diablo 4: A new Developer Update Livestream is coming September 16th.
[4:36 PM]Eönwë Valar: Diablo Immortal: The Season of Harvest starts September 24th.
[4:37 PM]Eönwë Valar: Lord of the Rings Online:
[4:37 PM]Eönwë Valar: Update 45.4 is out.
[4:37 PM]Eönwë Valar: That's it from me.
[4:37 PM]Varda: Thank you, Eonwe. : )
[4:38 PM]Varda: I'm giving three freebie infos for LotRO. Please bear with me on LotRO news for non-LotRO players. : )
[4:38 PM]Varda: LotRO weekly code through Sept 16 for 5 Battle Potions of Restoration:

[4:38 PM]Varda: LotRO thank you code for free quests, raids, and landscapes until Nov 3:
[EXPLOREOURWORLD
[4:39 PM]Varda: LotRO bonus experience days for a +25% experience boost through Sept 14.
[4:39 PM]Varda: Lord of the Rings Online players in kin this past week:
Peregrin branch (US RP-encouraged. Main):
Glamdring branch (US normal):
Meriadoc branch (EU-RP)
Angmar branch (temp US VIP "Veil of the Nine"):
Mordor branch (temp EU VIP "Veil of the Nine"):
[4:40 PM]Varda: Also, the Devs (Developers) are trying to fix the lag with a ton of things going on, some during the game I suspect. Some folks are seeing a lot of "lag" and others very little. This, too, shall pass. Growing pains.
[4:42 PM]Varda: StarCraft 2:
[4:42 PM]Varda: Valarites that I know of, some of whom do games together:
[4:42 PM]Varda: Eowyn, Fangorn, Faramir, Varda.
[4:43 PM]Varda: Any other gaming news anyone would like to pass along?
[4:44 PM]Varda: Sandalf doing any gaming besides mountain-climbing and the like, as in with a computer? : )
[4:44 PM]Sandalf13: Nope...no time...
[4:44 PM]Varda: Okie dokie. : )
[4:45 PM]Varda: Then on to
[4:45 PM]Varda: Tolkien!
[4:45 PM]Varda: Does anyone have a topic they'd like to have us chew on a bit? Food for thought?
[4:45 PM]Sandalf13: I have a thought...
[4:45 PM]Varda: Someone needs to. : )
[4:46 PM]Eönwë Valar: I had a brief thought for a Tolkien topic earlier in the week but I lost it already, heh.
[4:46 PM]Varda: Good idea to jot it down, maybe a Post-it or Notepad or Word. I have to do that too.
[4:47 PM]Varda: Kind of like dreaming. : )
[4:47 PM]Sandalf13: The LoTR (and the Silmarillion) is so interwoven, that there is a complexity of themes and their convegence that overwhelms a student of Tolkienology. Do you think that Tolkien maintained some sort of flow chart, to keep his various strands connected?
[4:47 PM]Varda: If so, I'll bet Christopher would have loved to have had it.
[4:47 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: There have been various timelines and annals, at least.
[4:48 PM]Eönwë Valar: I imagine we would've got a picture of it in one of the various books if he had anything of the sort outside of his mind.
[4:48 PM]Sandalf13: I read somewhere that J.K. Rowling did just that, and kept a huge diagram interonnecting her themes and events to make it all come out in the end.
[4:48 PM]Varda: JRRT did make a ton of notes. And he worked from memory of those.
[4:48 PM]Varda: And her work came out well-connected!
[4:49 PM]Sandalf13: Yes...in some of her later books in the series, events that were hardly mentioned in the first couple of books came back to become part of the whole once again.
[4:49 PM]Varda: A lot of the notes for JRRT were never intended for public eyes. He was working the story out and history, to explain his languages.
[4:49 PM]Sandalf13: Did those survive? Did Christopher have access to all of them?
[4:49 PM]Varda: See Histories of Middle-earth. : )
[4:50 PM]Varda: All? I doubt that was possible. Some he found were scribbles on the backs of envelopes, due to the paper shortage during war.
[4:51 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: There have also been instances of older outlines being erased and overwritten, though I think the timelines is how he kept most stuff in order.
[4:51 PM]Eönwë Valar: And I recall mention of some being written over, erased, written over again, etc. So a complete list of every thought, not likely, but I'm confident he had everything that it was possible to have.
[4:51 PM]Varda: Good point. There's a wonderful timeline at the end of the RotK.
[4:51 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Still, if that was all, his memory was impressive. Even at later stages he was so aware of apparent contraditions that he wrote extra texts to try to resolve them.
[4:52 PM]Varda: He had his own notes, and was a professor used to making notes for semesters of classes.
[4:52 PM]Varda: He had to have a way to keep track.
[4:54 PM]Eönwë Valar: Maybe he had a list that he checked twice....
[4:54 PM]Varda: He had geneologies
[4:54 PM]Varda: hehe aye
[4:54 PM]Varda: He knew the workings of his languages and they acted as a timeline for the stories.
[4:55 PM]Varda: So all of those things working together and constant thought as one of us might for their favorite hobby, to keep it in mind.
[4:56 PM]Varda: It's an excellent question.
[4:56 PM]Varda: If we figure it out well, we might be able to keep it straight in our heads too. : )
[4:57 PM]Eönwë Valar: He did have a brief summary of the history of Arda. That's probably how he kept it all together.
[4:57 PM]Varda: That's true
[4:58 PM]Eönwë Valar: Akin to the Tale of Years in Appendix B of LoTR.
[4:58 PM]Sandalf13: But the names...their genealogies, the events that they performed, all blend together in a stupendous effort. I really have trouble seeing how Tolkien kept it all together. I remember that in my dissertation, I had to keep seven separate strands going and connect them all at once in my conclusions...that along took me about two years to do.
[4:59 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: That's basically the Silmarillion, too. Lost Tales started out as more detailed stories, then it was all bundled into a timeline, and every subsequent version was basically filling in that timeline until what we know as the Silmarillion came about.
[4:59 PM]Varda: https://valarguild.org/tolkien/encyc/events/timeline/Complete_Chronology_of_First_Age.htm
[4:59 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: But he did remain remarkably consistent in that filling in.
[5:00 PM]Varda: Keeping track of the changes he made, the numerous names they had even at the same time. Aragorn for one. : )
[5:01 PM]Varda: And we weren't supposed to know things like the early Glorfindel. When that came out, he had to hustle to explain it if only for himself.
[5:02 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Heh, yes, that would be one of the apparent contradictions I mentioned earlier.
[5:02 PM]Varda: Aye. They weren't supposed to be contradictions.
[5:02 PM]Varda: Just back notes.
[5:03 PM]Varda: The two Legolas' comes to mind also. That was fixed partly by the other name, and by just leaving out the name in the first mention of his guiding the escape.
[5:03 PM]Varda: and we are at the hour.
[5:04 PM]Varda: gavel hops on the hammerpad, which has a trampoline top on top
[5:04 PM]Varda: thunk thunk thunk
[5:04 PM]Varda: After-meeting!
[5:04 PM]Varda: Free chat, even continuing Tolkien and gaming. : )
[5:05 PM]Sandalf13: Got to get back on the road again...will check in later when I arrive at home to see Ar's report! Thanks for a wonderful discussion of a question that has been plaguing me for some time...
[5:05 PM]Eönwë Valar: Tolkien certainly tried to keep elf names unique, but realistically, there's no way we wouldn't end up with some reused names even among Elves.
[5:05 PM]Varda: Thank you for a wonderful topic!
[5:05 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: That's why we need last names!
[5:06 PM]Varda: and descriptions, like in Medieval times. Bob the Shoemaker is not Bob the Blacksmith.
[5:06 PM]Varda: Earendil the Tall, not Earendil the Short
[5:06 PM]Eönwë Valar: Well...... Can anyone guess where I'm getting ready to reference? :}
[5:08 PM]Varda: That article I'm not finished getting together...
[5:08 PM]Eönwë Valar: Yes, pulled right out of your brain.
[5:09 PM]Varda: hehee
[5:09 PM]Eönwë Valar: No, Laws and Customs Among the Eldar :}
[5:09 PM]Varda: ooohh
[5:12 PM]Eönwë Valar:
"Since, however, the Eldar were by nature immortal within Arda, but were by no means changeless, after a time one might wish for a new name. He might then devise for himself a new chosen name. But this did not abrogate the former name, which remained part of the 'full title' of any Noldo: that is, the suquence of all the names thathad been acquired ion the course of life."
[5:13 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: You don't want to switch too many times, then.
[5:15 PM]Eönwë Valar: Next paragraph says changes in chosen name weren't frequent.
[5:15 PM]Varda: Just keep adding, like Elizabeth Taylor.
[5:16 PM]Eönwë Valar: Also mentions mother-names, which may or may not be considered a true name depending on the context of how they're given, and public or private depending on where they're placed in the full title.
[5:16 PM]Varda: Mother-names were sometimes prophetic.
[5:18 PM]Eönwë Valar: So (father-name) (chosen-names) plus where-ever (mother-name) may be placed seems to be the full title. All other given names not considered true names unless adopted by the person as such. These given names, when used as part of the full title, were usually included at the end in the form of "by some called X."
[5:20 PM]Eönwë Valar: So time to consider whether your RP character's name is father-name, a public mother-name, or some given name :}
[5:20 PM]Eönwë Valar: Well actually, I take that back. Fainan and Calion aren't Noldor, heh.
[5:21 PM]Eönwë Valar: Are they even Eldar is the question.
[5:21 PM]Varda: Just a title. Don't think my name was anything more: Varda. o our characters in-game!
[5:21 PM]Varda: Fainan, father-name. Main one used. For character on our forum-story and in-game.
[5:21 PM]Eönwë Valar: If they're in Mirkwood, they would be at least Nandorin Eldar.
[5:23 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Probably a father-name for Calion. I haven't really looked into it but no need for anything special.
[5:23 PM]Eönwë Valar: "Of Naming" specifically talks of Noldorin customs, so it'd be interesting to know how customs might differ between the different Eldarin groups as well as the Quendian populace at large.
[5:25 PM]Eönwë Valar: Anyway, there's something about naming for you, and it's time for me to be off.
[5:25 PM]Eönwë Valar: Take care all, good night, sleep well, and have fun.
[5:26 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Namarie!
[5:26 PM]Varda: Namarie!
[5:28 PM]Varda: Now I need an excuse for using Quenya. cough
[5:28 PM]Varda: As in:
[5:28 PM]Varda: Faina- - Parf Edhellen: an elvish dictionary
[5:43 PM]Varda: -n - Parf Edhellen: an elvish dictionary
[5:43 PM]Varda: for the -n ending.
[5:43 PM]Varda: So it means "I emit light". How's that for making up a name of Varda?
[5:44 PM]Varda: Anyway, great source.
[5:44 PM]Varda: Parf Edhellen: an elvish dictionary
[5:44 PM]Varda: Use the Search and have fun!
[5:52 PM]Varda: The original reason I made the Fainan name was for gaming. Games can force a name change if they feel it breaks copyright, and most of my names are from the books. Fainan kept the meaning of my name but without a break in copyright, making it safe for a founder of many of our branches, and for finding me anywhere at need. We did not always have Discord. : )
[9:04 PM]Xavier: Thanks to everyone here. I was able to read todays meeting. We can talk soon again.
[9:04 PM]Sandalf13: Hope so!
[9:05 PM]Xavier: Yes! Hi Sandalf
[9:05 PM]Sandalf13: Aiya!
[September 15, 2025
[3:21 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Ever decided to take a one hour nap to wake up a solid 8 hours later?
[3:21 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Personal gaming report:
[3:22 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: For (non)flashgaming, one of a series of short 15-level platformers, each featuring a different character with simple but unique abilities. I've probably linked them all before, but less recently than the other games from this week.
[3:23 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: One Trick Mage" features a mage who can only hold one spell at a time, including double jump, fireball and teleport.
[3:23 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Make your way through each level, picking up the right spell as you go, and reach all the chests!
[3:29 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Blizzard gaming:
[3:31 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Hearthstone:
[Level 94 on the reward track. One more week should do it.
[3:33 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: The quest event is still going, though they actually nerfed the quests while not yet being able to update the visuals, so I got the weekly quest to summon or destroy 2000 minions unexpectedly done in 500 on the second day
[3:34 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Next week will be to spend 1000 mana. Should be doable.
[3:35 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Brawl this week is Pick a Hand, Any Hand. Pick the first 7 cards of your deck, the rest is filled with Unstable Portals which grant you random minions to play at a discount.
[3:36 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: I went all in on making the portals more efficient, choosing mage with a few quests to use spells, and minions that reduce the cost of arcane spells in my hand. Which includes the portal.
[3:36 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Worked most of the time!
[3:36 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Randomness and luck is still there, of course, but luckily I got some good minions out of the portals as well.
[3:37 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Warcraft Rumble: No new collection level, but about halfway to the next one I think, after a few more epics, as the star tomes I got from events this week seemed to focus on minis that were already close to epic, despite having a good number of them still below halfway.
[3:39 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Easy dungeon this week, cleaning it quite smoothly with the blackrock family. Also did some Siege of Stormwind, grabbing enough valor to give diamond slots to Ysera and Charlga.
[3:39 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Should have full diamond leaders in a few weeks at this rate!
[3:40 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Also continued on the heroic sigil campaign, completing Tirion Fordring with 3 families. Not too difficult this time, since I have just been using my standard decks.
[3:41 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: 3 new minis upgraded to epic this week, including the execute spell, and 2 leaders: Cairne Bloodhoof for horde and Rend Blackhand for blackrock. Got their third talents as well.
[3:42 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Boosting them by another 2 levels, which is always great for dungeons and the campaign
[3:42 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: WoW:
[3:43 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: More raiding! Another full clear of normal, and now the first 3 bosses down on heroic. I was there for the second and third, and we got our first kills on both!
[3:43 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Fourth one's going ok, but we need a bit more damage on the orbs.
[3:43 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: I wonder what my first heroic vault slot of the season will give me
[3:45 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Weekly quest is delves, and since I regularly do delves anyway, no extra effort needed. The buff for the weekly is always welcome, though.
[3:45 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Got Brann from 88 to 91, so he's over halfway to the new cap.
[3:45 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Also got enough ilevel to comfortably go into tier 11 delves, so now I can relax on the highest difficulty and just watch things get easier from here on as my gear improves
[3:46 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Have been getting a lot of shortcut portals recently. Sure, they count, but I wonder how much xp per delve I'm missing out on. Technically it would save enough time to do multiple, but one a day is still enough for me
[3:47 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Maybe I should skip the shortcut portals!
[3:48 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Got a new pet from our old-school raids every friday, the Spawn of Krag'wa from the Battle for Dazar'alor. The pet that only drops from mythic difficulty, and we all have it now. People don't seem too eager to do the last few bosses for the mythic Jaina mount, so maybe we'll just drop the difficulty next time and stop after Mekkatorque.
[3:48 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: And finally, visited the trading post, after completing the tender last week.
[3:50 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: The free reward was the High Shaman's Aerie Gryphon mount, and I also bought the Ornery Breezestrider mount. I don't usually go for recolor groundmounts from the trading post, but I liked this specific talbuk.
[3:50 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Also got both Portable Forge shield appearances, and the Aquatic Sweatsuit. A bit anachronistic for the latter, but still looked nice.
[3:51 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Oh, and got another cosmetic from the delves as well, because of a flickergate apparently. The Shadowguard's Phasebound Visor. Another reason not to take the portals at least until I've unlocked the gate, I guess. And yes, those are different things!
[3:52 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: And that's my report for the week
[3:53 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Tried to do a bit of Diablo 4 this week, by the way, but it seems that after logging out about halfway through, the entire quest I was on had reset. I need a longer session to get through it. Maybe next week!
[3:53 AM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Right, namarie
