[4:02 PM]Varda: And hi to Cenedra aka Eowyn : )

[4:03 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Aiya!

[4:04 PM]Varda: Fangorn is coming to the computer to join up with the Lady Eowyn slaughtering pixels. : )

[4:04 PM]Arien Valar: Aiya all

[4:07 PM]Arien Valar: sorry thought Arilas would watch the roots from below here but hooray he survived shadow wrath , orc boss and a surprise pulk of mobs flex

[@Varda
Fangorn is coming to the computer to join up with the Lady Eowyn slaughtering pixels. : )

[4:07 PM]Eönwë Valar: Won't someone please think of the pixels?

[4:07 PM]Eönwë Valar: And heya :}

[4:08 PM]Varda: Aiya Eonwe!

[4:08 PM]Varda: considers pixels whilst bashing a few more

[4:08 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Aiya Eonwe!

[4:08 PM]Varda: Grats, Arien. : )

[4:08 PM]Léod: eating a snack. There might be a delay in my responding. LOL

[4:08 PM]Varda: No worries! Pauses expected, one of our slogans.

[4:09 PM]Varda: Comes from trying to stay alive while typing in Valar, which should allow us to receive hazard pay, alas.

[4:10 PM]Léod: Should I assume that the majority of the kin is on Mordor?

[4:10 PM]Varda: Nope

[4:10 PM]Varda: Mostly Landroval of those playing LotRO, but we have scattered out trying the new servers.

[4:10 PM]Varda: Not healthy for getting together. Plus many play other games.

[4:11 PM]Varda: I admit Arien and I have been playing Mordor a bit. : )

[4:11 PM]Léod: I meant the ones playing on the legendary servers in Lotro.

[4:11 PM]Varda: Fangorn and I play Landroval mostly, duo often.

[4:11 PM]Varda: ahh

[4:11 PM]Varda: Wellll, hm

[4:12 PM]Varda: Four of us on Angmar, two in Mordor. So no. That's in kin.

[4:12 PM]Léod: Ok.

[4:12 PM]Varda: Did you have some gaming in mind? We might pop in...!

[4:13 PM]Varda: Angmar is a temporary server, which I'm getting tired of. Mordor may be permanent.

[4:13 PM]Varda: Get all that invested in a server and then poof.

[4:13 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: One does not simply pop into...

[4:13 PM]Varda: until we do? : )

[4:14 PM]Varda: SSG said Mordor will remain as long as financially viable, but Angmar is temporary.

[4:14 PM]Varda: The Legendaries are usually experimental, so we see stuff from them enter the permanent servers.

[4:14 PM]Léod: but the characters arent. And I love mine.

[4:15 PM]Varda: I love mine too. They mainly wind up on our Crickhollow server as transfers. But then there are so many.

[4:15 PM]Varda: Hang onto your favorites!

[4:16 PM]Varda: Gets interesting when I use the same Fainan name for each kin leader and try to transfer. Things go wonky.

[4:16 PM]Varda: Anyway, back to "business".

Web

[4:16 PM]Varda: Web:

[4:17 PM]Varda: No new content, just stuff in the back we're working on. Some is driving us crazy.

[4:17 PM]Varda: We intended to have a nice updating system for the Gaming site on our player levels but that's not going as planned, so we may have to use the old hunt and plug in again. But we are not forgetting you guys!

Gaming

[4:18 PM]Varda: Gaming:

[4:19 PM]Varda: Feel free to break in with your own general news in that section, or even fairly close, or afterwards, or in After-meeting. We are very strict, heh, or maybe not.

[4:21 PM]Eönwë Valar: Blizzard also made it so the mythic Chronomancer set displays for all characters. I guess some weren't seeing it on the vendor. I popped in and found I hadn't collected it yet, so good idea to try and grab it.

[4:32 PM]Varda: Or maybe a group to form on one of the LotRO servers tonight? ; )

[4:32 PM]Varda: On to

Tolkien:

[4:32 PM]Varda: Tolkien:

[4:32 PM]Varda: Two Towers, "The Black Gate is Closed"

[4:33 PM]Varda: Frodo, thinking about whether to go into the Black Gate past the Silent Watchers, or Cirith Ungol as Gollum suggested:

[4:33 PM]Varda: Quote:

And here he was a little halfling from the Shire, a simple hobbit of the quiet countryside, expected to find a way where the great ones could not go, or dared not go.

It was an evil fate.

But he had taken it on himself in his own sitting-room in the far-off spring of another year, so remote now that it was like a chapter in a story of the world's youth, when the Trees of Silver and Gold were still in bloom.

This was an evil choice. Which way should he choose?

And if both led to terror and death, what good lay in choice?

[4:34 PM]Varda: End quote

[4:34 PM]Varda: to comment.

[4:34 PM]Varda: As he's worrying over the choice, the three see Men coming to Mordor from the south, and Sam wants to know if they have oliphaunts, something Gollum never heard of.

[4:35 PM]Varda: So Sam tells his fireside poem of oliphaunts, making Frodo laugh.

[4:35 PM]Varda: That releases Frodo from his hesitation and he decides to go with Gollum's suggestion into Cirith Ungol.

[4:35 PM]Varda: Laughter may be the best medicine.

[4:35 PM]Eönwë Valar: What good lay in choice? Which one more likely results in completion of the mission?

[4:35 PM]Varda: (and I'll stop to let others push in a word edgewise!)

[4:36 PM]Varda: He's not sure which would work at that time.

[4:36 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Ultimately choosing the path which would mean detection at a later date.

[4:36 PM]Léod: Two Roads Diverged in a Yellow Wood.

[4:36 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Postponing the seemingly inevitable?

[4:37 PM]Eönwë Valar: Well the likelihood of scaling the gate is slim, and if he wants them to open it he'd either have to wait until someone else is coming through, or announce himself and be caught.

[4:38 PM]Léod: When it comes to decisions where there is no clear answer, most people look for something, real or unreal, to help them make the decision. It could be something familiar, or something taken as a symbol or sign from the divine, or simply that one looks slightly better than the other.

[4:38 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: As simple as flipping a coin.

[4:39 PM]Léod: The Black Gate was certain death, and following Gollum seems unwise, but the result is uncertain. Uncertainty is better than certain demise.

[4:39 PM]Eönwë Valar: YouTube - Strider Sorrow - Towers of the Teeth (Win A Battle, Lose A War)

[4:41 PM]Léod: I haven't seen that for a bit!

[4:42 PM]Varda: Choice of evils.

[4:43 PM]Varda: And laughter released his (Frodo's) mind enough that he could make a choice.

[4:44 PM]Varda: Released the paralysis

[4:44 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Laughter is a good way to make you go "to heck with it, let's just go this way"

[4:44 PM]Varda: Aye : )

[4:44 PM]Sandalf13: Speaking of evils...those nasty cucumbers got me again. Did my Sunday hike up into the mountains, and got home in time to do some work in the garden BEFORE the meeting started...I must have stuck my hand through the chicken wire holding up the cucumber plants, and it pulled my old wrist watch right off my wrist...last time I looked (no pun intended) it was 1445....I look again, who knows how much later, and NO WATCH! So here I am late again. Sorry, and Aiya All!

[4:45 PM]Varda: Yikes. Hope it didn't cut you. Did you find your watch?

[4:45 PM]Varda: And glad to see you. : )

[4:46 PM]Varda: Feel free to comment on today's Tolkien subject after a quick scroll back! No rush.

[4:46 PM]Sandalf13: Nope. It is hidden among the cucumbers, somewhere. Maybe it will turn up sometime. It is waterproof, at least, and I have a couple of inexpensive backups just for situations like this.

[4:46 PM]Varda: Reason to dig in again. : )

[4:47 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Took me a moment to get the pun

[4:47 PM]Varda: Who knew he had the Cucumbers of Sauron.

[4:47 PM]Varda: hehe Phar. : ) I'm bad about that. But Merry is the Master

[4:48 PM]Varda: He can throw a pun onto a word three deep and using other languages on the spot!

[4:48 PM]Varda: Any other comments on our Tolkien subject? A new one? Or ready to rumble online?

[4:51 PM]Sandalf13: YES. Your comment above about Merry. Some year, some day, I want to work on my chapter on characters/archetypes in the LoTR. Tolkien was a linguist, and so was Merry. I always suspected that Merry might have been Tolkien's secret hobbit favorite.

[4:52 PM]Sandalf13: I have a whole series of quotes from the LoTR about Merry as a linguist.

[4:52 PM]Varda: I apologize. While what you said is great, I actually meant Merry-(V). Sorry again.

[4:53 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Fitting name choice, apparently

[4:53 PM]Sandalf13: No...I am sorry that I totally misconstrued your comment.

[4:54 PM]Varda: It was clear as mud. ; )

[4:54 PM]Sandalf13: Misconstruction is my middle moniker...

[4:54 PM]Arien Valar: hehe somehow playing with languages is actually including a wide usue ^^ from playing actual with languages .. ergo linguistic, includes also puns ^^

[4:55 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: I like puns myself, a bit of a dad joke fan

[4:55 PM]Varda: And JRRT, the great Linguist. : )

[4:55 PM]Arien Valar: alslo coding, rhyming and similar things

[4:56 PM]Sandalf13: To truly understand and appreciate one's own native language, one must study a foreign language.

[4:56 PM]Arien Valar:

[4:57 PM]Varda: Had Latin and German. You're right; they helped.

[4:57 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Hmm, I never realized how annoying Dutch must be to others until I learned English

[4:57 PM]Varda: What did you think might be annoying?

[4:58 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: A lot of the grammar, and also the... hmm, what's the English word for it

[4:58 PM]Arien Valar: because it sounds like a mixture of english and german with a potato in the mouth

[4:58 PM]Sandalf13: Cases?

[4:58 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: article?

[4:58 PM]Sandalf13: Which are related to cases....der, die, das, die, and so on...as well as des, der, des, der...

[4:59 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Yes, those.

[4:59 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: We've got multiple in Dutch as well.

[4:59 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: It makes English so simple.

[5:00 PM]Varda: gavel mutters in gavelese at the hammerpad which says something back in hammerpadese

[5:00 PM]Varda: the gavel smacks the hammerpad

[5:00 PM]Varda: thonk!

[5:00 PM]Varda: no offense, mate. Just doing my job

[5:00 PM]Sandalf13: You can sure make a lot of grammatical mistakes in English, and still be understood, but I have found the same thing with German...the people had no trouble understanding my poor German when I was in Bayerisch.

After-Meeting

[5:01 PM]Varda: After-meeting!

[5:01 PM]Léod: Oh, look at the time! I have to go take my meds! See some of you in game!

[5:01 PM]Varda: Which server, Leod!

[5:01 PM]Varda: Namarie to those leaving : )

[5:01 PM]Sandalf13: Time? What time? I have not time (on my wrist, at least) he he/ Namarie, Leod!

[5:01 PM]Léod: Angmar, I'll be doing the festival on my RK!

[5:01 PM]Léod: Namarie!

[5:01 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Namarie!

[5:02 PM]Varda: Fun fest. : )

[5:02 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: You now have one less excuse to get out of a conversation, Sandalf.

[5:02 PM]Varda: Computers tend to have a handy clock on them. Mine is bottom right.

[5:02 PM]Arien Valar: Namarie for now

[5:02 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: "Oh, look at the time!" "You're not wearing a watch."

[5:03 PM]Sandalf13: Namarie, Arien! You always bring some sunshine into my life!

[5:03 PM]Arien Valar: *let the sunshine .. let the sun shine the su -unshine 1

[5:03 PM]Varda: ☼

[5:04 PM]Arien Valar: Namarie :) 5:07 PM]Sandalf13: YouTube - Shine

[5:08 PM]Sandalf13: Back in the Dark Ages...and I was already old then...boy...the years fly by.

[5:10 PM]Eönwë Valar: "Every time that I look in the mirror. All these lines on my face getting clearer." --- "Dream on", Steve Tyler, Aerosmith

[5:10 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Clearer as in clearing up, or becoming more visible?

[5:11 PM]Eönwë Valar: Heh. Wish the former, more likely the latter.

[5:11 PM]Sandalf13: There is an old saying that as we age, and our skin loses some of the luster of youth, the inner light within shines out the ore brightly.

[5:12 PM]Sandalf13: more brightly.

[5:14 PM]Varda: Sounds good. : )

[5:14 PM]Varda: And these 64-bit servers are great. Hope they all get to be that way

[5:14 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Of course it's an old saying, the young wouldn't say it

[5:16 PM]Sandalf13: he he. They probably wouldn't understand the concept, either.

[5:19 PM]Sandalf13: On that note, I shall make one more attempt to located my missing time piece amongst the cucumbers...I will be taking my guests from Nebraska to the local Chinese buffet in Brighton, appropriately named "Buffet City." Will check in later (if I an find my watch) for Ar's report. Namarie for now! Bis spaeter!

[5:19 PM]Sandalf13: Maybe it got into the tomatoes? Who knows?

[5:19 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Namarie, and good luck!

[5:20 PM]Sandalf13: Sei gesund, all!

[5:25 PM]Eönwë Valar: "Are you going to Scarborough Faire? Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and TIME."

[5:27 PM]Varda: Namarie for now, Sandalf

[5:33 PM]Eönwë Valar: Speaking of, it's THYME for me to be off.

[5:33 PM]Eönwë Valar: Take care all, good night, sleep well, and have fun.

[5:34 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: namarie!

[5:41 PM]Varda: Namarie, Eonwe : )

[5:47 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Ouch. Thought I had enough charms to get both August Celestials and Kirin Tor Offensive to exalted, but they only give 250 rep per turnin rather than 500. Guess I'll complete one, and finish the timerunning event with 146/147 achievements complete

[6:24 PM]Varda: Brinksmanship

[8:07 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Well, I'm still busy in Pandaria, trying to find warbringers for extra August Celestials rep. But between all 5 locations, 2 involve flightmasters, so while I'm on there I might as well trickle in a gaming report!

[8:07 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: So... personal gaming report:

[8:23 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: For (non)flashgaming, we have Jumphobia today!

[8:23 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: A platformer where you can't jump manually, but automatically jump when you run off an edge.

[8:24 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Not too stressful, as there's plenty of checkpoints and no limit of lives, but it does take some timing, and controlling your landings.

[8:24 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: And on falling platforms, remember to leave a way back when needed

[8:30 PM]Varda: : )

[8:33 PM]Sandalf13: Aiya Ar!

[8:33 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Aiya

[8:33 PM]Sandalf13: Report On!

[8:33 PM]Sandalf13:

[8:33 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Every few minutes

[8:34 PM]Sandalf13: When you are not busy playing a game, that is, or watching a movie, or hanging out with your girlfriend...

[8:34 PM]Sandalf13: Or eating...

[8:34 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: as mentioned, alternating a bit with gaming

[8:34 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Including a bit of the game mentioned above... it gets pretty difficult soon, but at least the first few levels should be doable!

[8:41 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Blizzard gaming:

[8:41 PM]Sandalf13: Not for me...I got to level three and kept jumping into the saw teeth...my poor guy never stood a chance with me at the helm.

[8:41 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Aw.

[8:41 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Keep practicing!

[8:42 PM]Sandalf13: That is asking a lot of me, you know!

[8:42 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: well, only if you want to

[8:42 PM]Sandalf13: Thank you. You are a sympathetic taskmaster.

[8:42 PM]Sandalf13:

[8:42 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: What's a game for if you're not having fun?

[8:43 PM]Sandalf13: Very true. By extension, what is life, if you are not having fun?

[8:43 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Well, true, but life has not so fun things you have to get through to get to the fun part. With some games, if you're just not having fun, it's best to just move on!

[8:44 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Plenty of games in the sea.

[8:44 PM]Sandalf13:

[8:44 PM]Sandalf13: The view of Golden, taken from Lookout Mtn, on today

[8:45 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Good name for it.

[8:46 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Although... is it Lookout as in take in the view, or look out! as in the long fall?

[8:46 PM]Sandalf13: today's adventure. North Table Mtn is to the left (with the flat top) and South Table Mtn is to the right. The Coors brewery is between them, along with Hwy 58. The Colorado School of Mines is directly below us, in the middle of the picture. YOu can see some Dorms in the right middle (in white). The students are just returning to school now. The Table Mtns are formed by a lava flow from the Paleogene.

[8:46 PM]Sandalf13: No: the Name of the Mtn is "Lookout Mtn" because of the view that you can look out upon.

[8:47 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Looking good!

[8:47 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Hearthstone: Level 60 on the reward track now.

[8:47 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Should get enough gold for another skin this week, but otherwise not much new gotten.

[8:49 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Brawl is "Pick a Hand, Any Hand". Similar to past ones, but I think it's new. Choose the first 7 cards of your deck; after you mulligan (as in, switch out cards in your starting hand for different ones) you get 23 unstable portals give you random minions to your hand.

[8:49 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: So you can pretty much always choose your starting hand, and then it gets random.

[8:49 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: I chose mage with a few minions that get better with spells played, as the portals are indeed spells. But there's still randomness abound!

[8:53 PM]Sandalf13:

[8:53 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Warcraft Rumble: As predicted last week, a new collection level, up to 41 now!

[8:53 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Did you walk from there, or take a vehicle part of the way?

[8:54 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: No luck with last week's dungeon for alliance. This week's horde, and while I've not gotten through level 20 yet, it feels easier than last week's.

[8:54 PM]Sandalf13: We drive to the trailhead lower down the mountain and hike up. One can drive all the way to the top of this mountain, but hiking is much more fun and a whole lot prettier and less stressful. Students from CSM often Bike up the road to the top.

[8:56 PM]Sandalf13: The "M" for Colorado School of Mines just below the summit of Lookout Mtn. You can see the road climbing up the grade.

[8:57 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: In the heroic sigil campaign, Grom Hellscream defeated with all families, completing the Barrens zone. Got a special epic core reward rather than the usual rare core; I suspect that it's because before Moonglade normal was introduced, Barrens heroic would've gotten people to 100 sigils.

[8:57 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Now it got me to 105

[8:57 PM]Sandalf13: One can see the "M" from as far as 20 miles away.

[8:57 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Yes, I can imagine!

[8:58 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Started in Ashenvale, the next zone, defeating Draaka with 3 families.

[8:59 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: For mini quality, only got a single talent, Bloodthirsty, for the Execute spell. Did get some normal experience levels otherwise though.

[8:59 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Saving up a bit of gold again while no upgrades are up

[8:59 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: WoW:

[9:00 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: No raiding this week in current content. Also no weekly quest; rather, I suspect the condition get them has been moved to level 80, even though the expansion's not out yet and we can't level

[9:00 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: *to get them

[9:04 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: In the pre-patch event, have been using my moonkin to get the Sturdy Tome appearance drop, which succeeded; after which I've been sending in the warrior instead, for the shield. He's gotten most of the plate Sturdy set already, and a few weapons, but not the shield yet.

[9:08 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: In the remix event, I started with Calvirona, the main timerunner. She started with getting the meta achievements, for heroic dungeons, normal raids and heroic raids, to get the second ring, the necklace and the Claw of Eternus title.

[9:09 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Along the way she also completed mythic Siege of Orgrimmar, getting another title, Paragon of the Mists.

[9:09 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Within the Throne of Thunder raid she also got Shadopan Assault to exalted.

[9:10 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: After that it was nothing but dailies and the occasional instance grouping for gold, so I had time for my second timerunner, Callyfozz!

[9:11 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: He also has been running group content for bronze (not gold, sorry), but he's also done some questing in both Jade Forest and the Landfall campaign, getting some ranged weapon appearances along the way.

[9:12 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: First order of business, however, was getting to level 15 to be able to queue up for scenarios, so he could do the horde version of Theramore's Fall, and unlock the otherwise no longer obtainable Mana Bomb toy.

[9:15 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: But since then he's also done his first raid, gotten to level 28, and got all his gearslots filled, including his own version of the trinkets/rings/necklace.

[9:16 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Here he is in full Big Game Hunter glory

[9:17 PM]Sandalf13: This looks like a new character for you...yes?

[9:17 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: And then, all that remained along the way was working on reputation with the first timerunner, as well as doing Siege of Orgrimmar to get the currency to buy my missing heirlooms as well as the Tusks of Mannoroth, special shoulder appearance.

[9:17 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: My newest, yes!

[9:17 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: But fully decked out

[9:17 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: The fox guy, Callyfozz.

[9:17 PM]Sandalf13: Congrats! I am not sure if I should be terrified or chortling with laughter at this guy's cute fuzzy appearance!

[9:18 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: It does take some work to make a Vulpera look formidable

[9:18 PM]Sandalf13: He looks like a plush toy by kids played with when they were little...

[9:18 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Hah!

[9:20 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: So now, my other timerunner, Calvirona, has gotten the Klaxxi reputation to exalted, is one day of dailies away from doing the same with the Kirin Tor Offensive, and if I get 6 more insignias for the August Celestials, I should be able to get them to exalted too. Did not think I'd need it, but the Charms you get for daily quests give less rep than I thought.

[9:20 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Tomorrow's the last day of the event, I'll try to get both remaining factions to exalted, resulting in having all 147 achievements for this event, and spend all my accumulated bronze on all the unique mounts and gear, and hopefully some rare drop mounts as well with what I have left.

[9:20 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: And the rest of the week it's back to the prepatch event!

[9:21 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: And that's my report for the week

[9:22 PM]Sandalf13: An excellent report! I waited for you to finish, to post another few pix...CSM has a tradition for incoming Freshman students to carry a 10 pound rock up Lookout Mtn and place it on the "M." Before they graduate, they climb again, and try to find their rock. A neat tradition!

[9:26 PM]Sandalf13: Namarie, Ar, and have a wonderful, restful, and stress-free week. Sei gesund!

[9:26 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Namarie!

[9:26 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: Looks like fun

[9:27 PM]Ar-Pharazon-V: And namarie from me too! August 19, 2024

[12:19 AM]Varda: Namarie

[9:41 PM]Eönwë Valar: Hmm, I made 29,327 gold from the Timerunning event. Not a bad bit of coin when I haven't anything in it the last few weeks.

[9:41 PM]Sandalf13: Sounds good.

[9:42 PM]Sandalf13: Even some small coin is better than no coin.

[9:42 PM]Eönwë Valar: And only 2k from the "gift bag" they gave us. Oh well, wasn't expecting much.

[9:42 PM]Eönwë Valar: True.

[9:43 PM]Sandalf13: Keeping one's expectations low leads to greater surprises down the road...

[9:44 PM]Sandalf13: Something for you to laugh at...I like the characterization of Omaha as "possibly something." The rest of NE is pretty much "nothing."

[9:50 PM]Eönwë Valar: WoW. They took all my 36-slot bags and only replaced the four that make up my carrying inventory. If they were going to give me only 30-slot bags anyway, could've at least replaced what they took.

[9:51 PM]Eönwë Valar: Well, if this isn't appropos I don't know what is: they even stole the shirt off my back.

[10:02 PM]Eönwë Valar: Lol, they stole my Lightforged Draenei's shirt then mailed it back to her. I bet they didn't even pay for dry cleaning.

[6:47 AM]Eönwë Valar: Difficult to read much of it, but of the parts I can read there's a few amusing comments.
