worth what I drop on it. Usually wait for big sales on LotRO
expansions because they went to digital and don't give any goodies
that aren't directly tied to the games. Even a digital soundtrack
would make it more enticing.

A lot of the Silmarillion is told as if from historical
documents and memories.
There are libraries, yep, as in Gondor, that we know of, and in
Rivendell.

and probably a place for books to share.
But we know not all the hobbits read.

"Son of Earendil," although the author points out that any child
born who is touched by a beam of light from Gil-Estel is called a
son (or daughter?) of Earendil. The Elves who do the talking are
Lindo and Vaire.

Gotta say, while languages per se aren't a main interest of mine

Since I cannot run my usual 3 to 4 miles per day given my pinched
nerve (I have not run since 4 May!), I am trying to get on my bike
for an hour or more every day. Since I am on the road, I have no
bike...so I am heading to Planet Fitness to get in a half hour on
their stationary bicycle...need to work out all the kinks from
driving so far today. Hope the doctor gets me some injections to
relieve the pain this week!

game with just one button to press, following the rhythm as you
follow a path, tapping regularly across straight roads, but

For classes, rogue and warrior have caught up with the druid at
305 wins. Not quite sure what I'll do when they all start hitting

Brawl is Valeera's Bag of Burgled Spells. Both players get the
rogue class and a whole bunch of random spells which also summon
minions of the same cost.

Random random! But at least it's impossible to make a bad deck or
even choose a bad class, so it's equally random for everyone. Just
make the best of what you get and hopefully you'll get your wins!

No new or maxed mercenaries, but got a whole bunch of levels on
some of them. Many level 2 or 3 tasks, which meant a lot of
half-leveled mercs in use, especially Mannoroth, Nefarian and the
Lich King.

Perhaps it helped that I hit LFR on tuesday, unlocking a vault
slot on wednesday, and got my 4-piece tier bonus by getting the
chestpiece from that slot. Sure, it's LFR quality only but the
setbonus makes it worth dropping an ilevel or 2. And guardian
tierbonus is quite good

Today we had our first attempts at the next boss, Lords of Dread.
Doesn't seem too much more complicated, though things hurt more
and we need to watch our positioning better. Trying out some new
strategies for that.

Weekly is battlegrounds! While Ashran, unlike most brawls, by its
unending nature does not seem to give a win for the bg quest, I
did manage to win 4 battlegrounds over the last 4 days. Took some
trying, sometimes losing 6 in a row, but we got there.
And I got to honor level 96 on the way, so there's that

Oh, and I got enough anima to buy a new critter soulshape added in
a later patch, the Cricket. Looks neat, well detailed, and hops
along while walking

Finally... alting! As expected, not doing Torghast anymore gave me
a bit of time to send the paladin deeper into Bastion. She hit a
few side questlines along the way, but then proceeded along the
Aspirant's Crucible (picking up some much needed gear-upgrades),
managed to solo a 3-man elite by spamming selfheals - yay
paladins! - and finally helped out the Temple of Purity up to the
point where the Forsworn invade. We'll see about that lot next
week.

As a paladin who'll take the Bastion people as her Covenant, I'm
paying quite close attention to the story and the npcs here that
she'll get to know in a way my main druid couldn't. She even saw
Uther for the first time, whom she idolized as a paladin in life
while she was a kid, so getting to do the Bastion covenant
campaign with her is something I'm quite looking forward to
