For those of you who may not know, this is the 4th of July
weekend here in the States. I have big plans to attend the 4th of
July fireworks offered by Lincoln at Oak Lake, with dinner
beforehand...I may have to leave early. Happy 4th, everyone!

Yes...but the fireworks are often offered the night before (at
least the OFFICIAL celebrations). Most people get together and set
off their own fireworks after dinners on the 4th. The next day is
usual workday, so people prefer not to stay up too late.

Hearthstone:
Made it to level 110 on the reward track. Getting lots of gold,
but unfortunately it came a day or two too late, since the patch
came and the bartender skin was removed from the shop.

Not sure what I'll spend it on now, maybe just let it stack up a
bit.
No point in buying packs until I sort out the ones I already
have... stares at 160 packs

With the patch also came a new legendary, Prince Renathal, who
increases your starting health and your decksize from 30 to 40.
Seems beneficial in most cases unless you're working with gimmicky
decks, but it does make it more difficult to draw any cards you
want.
So far I've added him to my druid deck, which is already based on
tons of unique cards, legendaries, and multiple possible win
conditions, so it just adds to the fun there.

As well as a few quest decks which I've made for quests that
require you to use so many fire spells or similar stuff.

Speaking of such quests, there's a new legendary quest chain for
the patch, which started with a 10 fire spell quest, and also
containing some class-specific quests and mode-specific quests.
It'll be up for 4 weeks, so shouldn't be much trouble, and there's
a few nice rewards to be had, like portraits.
I've completed the first quest, but things should pick up during
the week

For the brawl, gotta build a deck, every minion played gives you a
random spell of the same cost, but playable for free.

A bit annoying, but I did get enough wins through a warlock deck
with lots of cheap minions and a few very expensive ones.
Allowing cheaper spells to pave the way for the big stuff.

For mercenaries, patch came with 3 free mercenary portraits as a
reward for those who had been playing up to that point, for a few
very early mercenaries: Tyrande, Millhouse and Xyrella. They're
not bad, and I'm using the new one on Xyrella, but for Tyrande and
Millhouse I prefer the ones I already had.

No new mercs, but got some leveling done, including getting
Mutanus, Lokholar and Cairne to level 30. And there's a few others
on quests towards 30 as well.

Raidbreak almost over. Right on time too, since the final
raidbosses are being nerfed once again. We'll have 4 weeks to
complete the last 3 bosses on heroic and get the completion
achievements, I think.

But I give us a good chance!

Weekly is pet battles, of which I once again did my 5 pvp battles
from the garrison. Always over nice and quick, giving me more time
for other stuff

Mostly alting! Alcaria the paladin's been blazing through
Maldraxxus, getting the 3 forked questlines done as well as 2
optional questlines, and then heading into the Maw where she met
Ve'nari the Broker for the first time, before escaping the Maw
again with the Mograine father/son team in tow.

She's gone from 55 to 57 now, and is about ready for the climactic
battles at the end of Maldraxxus, after which it's off to
Ardenweald!

Landroval until closer to the server closing. That way I'll still
