I had some delicious donuts when I was visiting Markus and Caity
(and Ingrid) in Hilliard. There is a fantastic donut shop in
Columbus called "Amy's Donuts." Anything you want you can get
there. They even have an Elvis Presley donut, although I stuck
with a cruller filled with Bavaria cream.

A personal rant, here: I think the actions of the Eagles in the
LoTR are a strong testament to Radagast NoT failing of his
mission...he was sent by Yavanna to help guard the plants and wild
things of Middle-earth. For him, fighting Sauron was important,
but secondary to his main purpose. I believe that Radagast
faithfully performed his duty as set out by Yavanna, and deserves
praise for that effort, not scorn.

way that possibly overlooked things get saved and conserved. But

Radagat talking to the Eagles about the importance of the moment.
He was a Maia, after all, and was not disabused of his contact
(somehow) with the Valar.
Why not both? I am sure it would always be Radagast's intent to

Read the Fanfictdion story about young Estel talking to his
Father, Elrond, about Curunir at the very end of the story. Estel
says Curunir reminds him of a snake...but is chastised by Elrond
for speaking that way about an Istar. However, Elrond reminds him
that he told Estel to speak with respect for those who earn
respect...such as the Istari. Estel replies that Sarauman did not
earn the respect. Very smart...a good read.

I don't think Fëanor could've admitted to himself that he was
fighting a losing battle. Even at the very end he made his sons
swear his oath again. I think he would've ultimately been
dangerous as High-King, and unless he actually listened to
Maedhros things would've gone far worse. He proved he wasn't
interested in cultivating alliances for mutual benefit and would
throw away allies once they'd become too burdensome to him.

Personal gaming report!

On the flashgaming front, the Kongregate site got a new
flash player, Ruffle. It seems more userfriendly than Supernova
and should make more flashgames playable again. I wonder if
that means they'll put flashgame badges in the list again,
in which case we might see some more variation in the games

Level 55 on the reward track now. At level 50 I got a random
legendary reward, that one being the rogue "culprit" legendary,
Necrolord Draka.

All classes over 320 wins now, so that's going nicely

Brawl is Three Wishes, where you get three wish cards to discover
a "perfect" card for your current situation. Play one to put the
next one in your deck. So the choice is to either play them early
to get more chance at drawing them, or later on when you can make
more use of them. I generally lean towards the latter.

We got 10 out of 11 bosses down in fated Nathria, but the Jailer
did not want to go down; no surprise as we'd not tried him before.
Had a few attempts on him on normal fated, and managed to get into
phase 3, but he had way too much health left... we need more
practice at extending phase 2, and maybe putting some more dps in
it in the earlier phases 🙂
Plans are being made to practice him on non-fated normal at some
point, using the shortcuts we have unlocked. We'll get the guy at
some point, and then in Fated, and then we'll have our slimecat
mount 🙂
In the meantime, the fated raids keep rotating; we went back to
normal fated Nathria. There, with our gear upgrades, normal seemed
quite underwhelming, and we got 9 out of 10 bosses down in one
night, only Denathrius remaining for tuesday. Maybe next time it
rolls around, we should try for heroic after all?
Weekly is pet fights, which went quite well. No losing streaks in
my pvp pet fighting. Always nice!
For alting, the paladin cleared the Ember Ward as well as the
sidequests there, before taking the Sinfall tower, and getting
into the Maw to save Prince Renathal.
Not only did she get her Torghast tutorial done along the way, but
also managed to get a pet to drop which my main never got in all
his time in the Maw, though I did get it more recently from a
friend who already had 3 of em. So now I've got 2 Grappling
Gauntlets, one of which personally looted 🙂
Now she's on the brink of completing Revendreth, with one more
quest to go; a scenario wherein we take on Denathrius (hint: he
survives to become a raidboss), and then a bunch of side
questlines in all 4 zones await.
Not sure how long that'll take, but afterwards, it's onward to the
rogue!
And that's my report for the week 🙂
