The big news is on LotRO, which we've mentioned.

The LotRO branch on Ithil is closing down due to low population.
[4:15 PM]
Anyone on the Ithil branch is welcome to the Anor or Landroval
branches, as the Legendary Server people are being allowed to
migrate to regular servers in the US or Euro etc areas, pretty much
anywhere.

Those characters don't bring any conflicts to the other servers, so
that's lucky. (Coding conflicts)

1.) The Ithil Guild Branch page has been retired and the last
pass has gone over the characters there. No more characters will be
removed from the roster. Levels may or may not be adjusted until I
myself have moved Calasulo from Ithil to Anor, everyone besides me
(and Varda's kin leader character) makes the move, or the server
closes, whichever comes first. That will be the final tally for the
roster there.

I'm assuming most aren't going to log in to play on Ithil though,
but to move, so I'm not expecting any level changes, heh.

Considering the perspective of the story was that of Bilbo/Frodo,
and Aragorn didn't really go announcing is marital intentions at
every opportunity (or so their version of events would lead us to
believe, heh) it's probably better they didn't add in any extra
commentary about a story they had little info on until after the
end.

This one's different, however, in that there are no separate levels,
but a network of rooms to work through as you try to find all the
honeycombs to bring back the honey to the bee queen.

The problem is... you play a bear who can only make a dozen moves to
get from one honeycomb to another. You autorun in the direction you
turn, but the 12 moves are needed to jump and turn around when
needed. And you're going to need them too, as it's tight, and you're
going to need to figure out the best paths

But there's upgrades too, as you come across other bears throughout
the maze, who give you special abilities like double jump!

Guild Wars:
Read through all the new manuals a bit, in preparation and out of
interest, and in-game I did the last mission in the Prophecies
campaign, taking out the lich and closing the portals he's been
using to summon his titan minions.

Escaping from the erupting volcano, we sailed back to Droknar's
Forge, the dwarven town, where I found myself in a celebratory area
just outside the town, with a bunch of familiar npcs and henchmen
waiting for me and congratulating me in an epilogue section that
they hadn't added yet when I first completed the campaign

Everyone with their own dialogue and even some scenes between the
npcs themselves, quite fun.

Next week I'll start the epilogue quests, finding the titan lords
that are already attacking a few places throughout the regions we
previously passed.

Since they're in old explorable areas, I'll have to use the old and
often lower level henchmen rather than the top ones we got for the
last missions, so bringing them down is going to be interesting. But
fun I'm sure!

...In fact, I wonder if it'll even be possible without other players
or heroes from the Nightfall campaign.

No new levels, still 454. Did get the patch, though, so went through
my active heroes to see about their new builds.

Stitches is tricky though, quite the rework, will have to get used
to it.

Level 81 on the reward track. Getting closer.

Brawl is Captain Blackheart's Treasure, discover one of 3 cards
every turn, on top of a deck filled with 2 mana pirates as filler.
Took me a few tries, as randomness can be a pain

Bit more farming of heroic, bit more trying to kill Sire Denathrius.
Not going well, and signups are lacking, so the decision has been
made to reduce the raidweek from 3 nights to 2. But third night will
probably be used to make more voluntary raids for the raid's
achievements, which should be fun!

Weekly is pet battles! Won 5 pvp pet battles this week, with the
last one being against a team with the elekk plushie (special
noncombat pet). Was tempted to concede for the novelty, but I'd
already lost a few in a row before then so decided to finish it
after all.

Completed Twisting Corridors on layer 4, getting the Helm of the
Dominated toy, turning me into a mawsworn. Works well with a mount
I'll mention in a moment

Got a new pet! Enough pet charms got to buy the pet from Court of
Harvesters rep, the last one of the 4 main factions' reputations. 4
pets for charms remain that are accessible to my covenant, all
coming from Ardenweald factions. So about 1000 pet charms to go!

And 3 new mounts!

One from the mount missions, Highwind Darkmane, the purple Kyrian
mount. Looks pretty good even in a Night Fae outfit That
leaves 2 more from missions, but with my followers now going into
the 45, it'll get easier and easier.

Second one was the Mawsworn Soulhunter, from the Shadehounds hunt in
the Maw. One of the few mounts that you can ride in the Maw, and the
one that rather nicely fits that Mawsworn toy

Sure, I can use travel form, but can't get dazed on my mount so
that's an advantage

And the third mount is the Silvertip Dredwing, first of the 4
special Covenant mounts to be got from 4-grain slots in the
Conservatory. Lucky there!

And I finally completed the achievement from the world quest Things
Remembered in Bastion, after months of doing the quest and hoping
for the right npc's story to come up. Sure enough, this week I came
across Chyrus's notes, completing my last world quest related
achievement! Well, apart from 10k world quests completed, that is

Combined with someone mentioning to me that we're going to get a lot
more anima in 9.1, and me wanting more and more to see the other
covenant campaigns before jumping into the 9.1 campaign as each
datamined chapter seems to be a direct sequel to them, today I
decided to stop grinding anima through world quests and Marasmius
quests, only doing those for the callings, to be able to put more
time into the 3 alts.

And for the conductors I'm restricting myself to Valfir only, since
I have all the grateful offerings to buy everything except the mount
which he can also drop.

Speaking of alts, haven't been able to poke them this week. But if I
don't do a dozen world quests a day I should be able to put more
time into them from now on
