Update 29: The Wildwood of Bree is now going, a new area with new
instances, missions, and quests. The area is level 45 and in Bree,
so it is included free for VIP's. Virtue cap went up to 74. Wildwood
has scaling so that level 130's may also collect good items and
scaled activities. The missions are supposed to work with the ones
in Elderslade in count.

The deeds: 'Agoroth, the Narrowdelve Tier 3: Leading the Charge' and
'Woe of the Willow Tier 3: Leading the Charge' will be available for
completion through May 2, 2021, turning off at 3am server time on
May 3rd. Tiers 4 and 5 of "Agoroth, the Narrowdelve" and "Woe of the
Willow" will be available starting on April 1, 2021.

The Wildwood itself is a new area with tons of goodies.

Two factions are present in the Wildwood with competing rep. Be sure
to collect the barter you want for one before working with the other
for their barter. They are in new areas: one (The Woodcutter's
Brotherhood) starts in the North Downs at Trestlebridge past the
Grocer, and one (The League of the Axe) starts in Evendim on the
other side of the Barandelf (sp) with Dwaling as the nearest stable.

LOTRO lighting has been updated. Look under Options/ Advanced
Graphics for "Per Pixel Lighting Attenuation" which has been added
for DirectX 10/11 to increase the lighting quality. Toggling this
option to true will enable softer lighting as well as more
consistently used normal maps and specular highlights.

When I checked, it was automatically on. I tried turning it off and
on to see the difference, which was quite noticeable in high areas
such as Annak-khurfu of Elderslade, less so in older areas like Bree
(which already has enough problems with lag).

Three more maps (click M for the overall map) have been updated in
the lower areas to be similar to those of the higher areas.

The Spring Festival includes two new instances, one with Grimbeorn's
bees (Bee's Big Business) and one with the Red Maid (Naruhel the
Red-maid). It runs from March 18 through April 6th.

fun. I still need to figure how to pollinate the Great-lilies at the
end part. Run it several times to kill bosses for deeds.

I reinstalled Guild Wars

across the old Guild Wars soundtrack, which got me nostalgic.

I lost my guild wars install when the ol' harddrive died, and hadn't
bothered to reinstall it, but last night I finally got out the cds

Tavern brawl is a time shift, with each player getting 2 turns in a
row. Did quite well with a murloc shaman deck, spawning and buffing
and attacking before the enemy has a chance to respond

For raiding, it's a week of wipe-nights, but still progress
Had our first attempts at Denathrius on tuesday, followed by our
fourth heroic Sludgefist kill - completing the shortcutquest for all

As far as heroic end-of-raid bosses go, he seems pretty simple.
We're learning the mechanics pretty quickly, just need to all
survive and bring him down in time.

Only covenant i'm still not exalted with is the Ascended of Bastion,

it's level 225 now. And only one wing remains to complete at layer 8

Conductor making progress too! I'm hoping I can get the last 5k
anima for tier 3 in the next week, but even so, got my second stream
reinforced, allowing me to get 4 objectives every day.

then it comes running back to you, chasing you if you move as well

And then of course the new mount I just got, the Amber Ardenmoth!
Pretty red moth mount, which I also just tested on an alt or two...
turns out the stags are covenant-only but the moths can be used by

Speaking of alts (o-ho, that bridge), I got my paladin to level 25,
and shifted to the mage, whose next goal is also 25. Then all 3
covenant-focused alts are the same level, and I'll alternate them to
