Tolkien!
[4:32 PM]
Eonwe found some intriguing oddities going on in
Eregion with the Fellowship, before entering Moria.
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 4:34 PM
Thanks.
Varda — Yesterday at 4:34 PM
Have at it. : )
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 4:34 PM
First, the quote:
[4:34 PM]
"Round the fire they sat, and those that were not on
guard dozed uneasily. Poor Bill the pony trembled and sweated
where he stood. The howling of the wolves was now all round them,
sometimes nearer and sometimes further off. In the dead of night
many shining eyes were seen peering over the brow of the hill.
Some advanced almost to the ring of stones. At a gap in the circle
a great dark wolf-shape could be seen halted, gazing at them. A
shuddering howl broke from him, as if he were a captain summoning
his pack to the assault.
Gandalf stood up and strode forward, holding his staff aloft.
'Listen, Hound of Sauron!' he cried. 'Gandalf is here. Fly, if you
value your foul skin! I will shrivel you from tail to snout, if
you come within this ring.'(edited)
The wolf snarled and sprang towards them with a great leap. At
that moment there was a sharp twang. Legolas had loosed his bow.
There was a hideous yell, and the leaping shape thudded to the
ground; the elvish arrow had pierced its throat. The watching eyes
were suddenly extinguished. Gandalf and Aragorn strode forward,
but the hill was deserted; the hunting packs had fled. All about
them the darkness grew silent, and no cry came on the sighing
wind.
The night was old, and westward the waning moon was setting,
gleaming fitfully through the breaking clouds. Suddenly Frodo
started from sleep. Without warning a storm of howls broke out
fierce and wild all about the camp. A great host of Wargs had
gathered silently and was now attacking them from every side at
once.
'Fling fuel on the fire!' cried Gandalf to the hobbits. 'Draw your
blades, and stand back to back!'
In the leaping light, as the fresh wood blazed up, Frodo saw many
grey shapes spring over the ring of stones. More and more
followed. Through the throat of one huge leader Aragorn passed his
sword with a thrust; with a great sweep Boromir hewed the head off
another. Beside them Gimli stood with his stout legs apart,
wielding his dwarf-axe. The bow of Legolas was singing.
In the wavering firelight Gandalf seemed suddenly to grow: he rose
up, a great menacing shape like the monument of some ancient king
in stone set upon a hill. Stooping like a cloud, he lifted a
burning branch and strode to meet the wolves. The gave back before
him. High in the air he tossed the blazing brand. It flared with a
sudden white radiance like lightning; and his voice rolled like
thunder.
'Naur an edraith ammen! Naur dan i ngaurhoth!' he cried.
There was a roar and a crackle, and the tree above him burst into
a leaf and bloom of blinding flame. The fire leapt from tree-top
to tree-top. The whole hill was crowned with dazzling light. The
swords and knives of the defenders shone and flickered. The last
arrow of Legolas kindled in the air as it flew, and plunged
burning into the heart of a great wolf-chieftain. All the others
fled.
Slowly the fire died till nothing was left but falling ash and
sparks; a bitter smoke curled above the burned tree-stumps, and
blew darkly from the hill, as the first light of dawn came dimly
in the sky. Their enemies were routed and did not return.
'What did I tell you, Mr. Pippin?' said Sam, sheathing his sword.
'Wolves won't get him. That was an eye-opener, and no mistake!
Nearly singed the hair off my head!'
When the full light of the morning came no signs of the wolves
were to be found, and they looked in vain for the bodies of the
dead. No trace of the fight remained but the charred trees and the
arrows of Legolas lying on the hill-top. All were undamaged save
one of which only the point was left.
'It is as I feared,' said Gandalf. 'These were no ordinary wolves
hunting for food in the wilderness. Let us eat quickly and go!'"
---- The Fellowship of the Ring, Book II, Chapter 4: A
Journey in the Dark
[4:38 PM]
I'll give you a minute to digest all that before I comment.
Varda — Yesterday at 4:38 PM
yay wall of text.
[4:39 PM]
In the first incident, they are called wolf-shape, wolves, Hound of
Sauron.
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 4:39 PM
I did have indentation for the paragraphs, but apparently that
didn't carry in when I hit enter.
Varda — Yesterday at 4:39 PM
heh
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 4:40 PM
Later on they were called wargs.
Varda — Yesterday at 4:40 PM
One is killed, the others flee.
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 4:40 PM
The part that sticks out to me: no trace but charred trees and
arrows lying about. No blood stains, no bodies. Legolas' arrows
obviously hit something or they would've been alot further out than
the hilltop.
Varda — Yesterday at 4:40 PM
Aye, in the second incident, we have wargs.
[4:40 PM]
For the Warg section, it gets really spooky.
[4:41 PM]
But the wargs also are called wolves in spots in the second
incident.
[4:41 PM]
Gandalf says they are no ordinary wolves, however.
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 4:42 PM
Invisible wolves.
[4:42 PM]
Visible by fire, invisible by daylight.
[4:42 PM]
That's my theory!
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 4:42 PM
hehe
Varda — Yesterday at 4:43 PM
: )
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 4:43 PM
Wargs, per the Hobbit, are a particularly evil breed of wolves from
the east of the HIthlaeglir, the lands of Rhovanion.
Treebeard — Yesterday at 4:43 PM
Wolves and Wargs didn't seem to be exactly similar for me, just kept
them as separate
Varda — Yesterday at 4:43 PM
Gandalf is big on using fire here, although of course he has the
Ring of Fire. But maybe for another reason, such as when Aragorn
used flaming sticks from the campfire to run off the Nine.
[4:44 PM]
Same, Treebeard.
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 4:44 PM
Going from "Wargs" to "wolves" is likely more an aesthetic choice to
avoid repetition, like we might name a specific breed of dog, then
in subsequent comments just say "the dogs."
Varda — Yesterday at 4:44 PM
Wolves in the first one, then an upgrade to Wargs in the second one.
[4:44 PM]
The enemy was too strong for the wolf types, so they sent in the big
guns.
[4:45 PM]
And that's possible, Eonwe.
[4:45 PM]
However, as Gandalf says, these are not ordinary wolves.
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 4:45 PM
Like waves of enemies in a defensive mission.
[4:45 PM]
Light troops, heavy troops, boss.
Varda — Yesterday at 4:45 PM
Aye
[4:46 PM]
But no bodies. Feels like a video game where the bodies disappear
after the fight. : )
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 4:46 PM
hehe
Varda — Yesterday at 4:46 PM
Video games weren't around yet, so we can claim Tolkien did it
first!
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 4:46 PM
Did they leave any coins behind?
[4:46 PM]
Or maybe a skinner snuck in during the night.
Varda — Yesterday at 4:46 PM
Gimli will never tell?
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 4:46 PM
Not just the no bodies part, but then the fact the arrows are still
there.
[4:47 PM]
They left arrows, Phar. Does that count? ;}
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 4:47 PM
Except one having just the point. What happened to the rest?
Varda — Yesterday at 4:47 PM
The arrows seem to have hit something that kept them from going
farther.
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 4:47 PM
I have actually seen games where you can retrieve your arrows from
corpses.
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 4:47 PM
That one was burned up by catching on Gandalf's fire.
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 4:47 PM
Ah! Right.
Varda — Yesterday at 4:47 PM
The physical threat was real.
[4:47 PM]
The arrow point was burned by Gandalf's fire, aye.
[4:48 PM]
But no bodies afterward.
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 4:48 PM
I had trouble making that link.
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 4:48 PM
It's one thing to just say the wolves dragged off their dead, but
they wouldn't have been able to take the arrows out of the corpses
without doing some sort of damage to the arrows.
Varda — Yesterday at 4:48 PM
So are wargs strictly physical beings?
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 4:48 PM
Properly, yes.
Varda — Yesterday at 4:49 PM
Apparently they have some kind of magical property.
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 4:49 PM
They're intelligent animals, as they talk and make deals with orcs,
but they are physical.
Varda — Yesterday at 4:49 PM
Maybe they teleported to their burial place. : )
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 4:49 PM
hehe
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 4:49 PM
Respawned.
Varda — Yesterday at 4:49 PM
Very tidy to fight them on the battlefield. No tripping.
[4:49 PM]
uh oh, Phar!
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 4:51 PM
Wraith-Wargs?
Varda — Yesterday at 4:51 PM
So, we know the Wargs are not regular wolves, but are intelligent
and have an alliance with the orc riders.
[4:52 PM]
Hmm, maybe? : )
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 4:55 PM
In game terms, I'm thinking about summoned creatures...
Varda — Yesterday at 4:55 PM
They don't seem to hang around inside the goblin cave, but are
outside where they can join up with riders. No stable, apparently.
[4:56 PM]
So they became unsummoned?
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 4:56 PM
Sounds more like they'd have a den.
[4:56 PM]
Yep
Varda — Yesterday at 4:56 PM
Aye about the den.
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 4:56 PM
Summoned creatures usually vanish after death.
Varda — Yesterday at 4:56 PM
It doesn't seem to fit with anything else we see (in Tolkien),
although great for a video game. : )
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 4:56 PM
If you ate one before it disappeared, would you feel hungry again?
Arien Valar — Yesterday at 4:57 PM
who would want to eat wargs :O?
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 4:57 PM
Are you eating it raw? Because I don't think the corpse would stick
around long enough to cook.
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 4:57 PM
It might, I don't know! We've got a few hours' window.
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 4:58 PM
I'm sure orcs and other wargs have eaten wargs for various reasons.
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 4:58 PM
Looks like meat's back on the - wait, where'd it go?
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 4:58 PM
"Want to" and "meat on the table" are two different things, of
course, heh.
Varda — Yesterday at 4:58 PM
Zero calories
[4:59 PM]
Anyway, good catch by Eonwe. That is just weird.
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 4:59 PM
It is! Sounds like some kind of shadowy sorcery.
[4:59 PM]
But with actual physical threat.
Varda — Yesterday at 4:59 PM
Maybe it's lore about Wargs that we never heard of because the
hobbits didn't see it.
[5:00 PM]
Some version of a yoink spell, er, teleport?
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 5:00 PM
I think Gandalf and Aragorn would've known it though.
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 5:00 PM
Note, though, the wolf slain in the first wave, if not warg, also
disappeared.
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 5:00 PM
Gandalf was concerned. If it were expected of Wargs, I don't think
he'd be commenting on it.
Varda — Yesterday at 5:01 PM
Since these were Sauronic changes, they may not have been in what
lore Gandalf was allowed to retain as an Istar.
[5:02 PM]
It may have been new.
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 5:02 PM
Yes, but he did have 2000 years of experience in MIddle-Earth to
fall back on.
[5:02 PM]
If it were "new", it wouldn't be "lore" :}
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 5:03 PM
Probably just new then
Varda — Yesterday at 5:04 PM
I agree that it's probably new to Gandalf.
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 5:04 PM
Could it be a Saruman thing?
Arien Valar — Yesterday at 5:05 PM
right A chairdean , friends .. i fear it is that time for me
Varda — Yesterday at 5:05 PM
It's the hour
[5:05 PM]
Your timing is good.
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 5:05 PM
Namarie, sunny
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 5:05 PM
Saruman making the Wolf-collars of Power, heh.
Varda — Yesterday at 5:05 PM
Our best answer is that it was some new foul sorcery that hobbits
need to learn. ; )
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 5:05 PM
Sleep well Arien :}
Arien Valar — Yesterday at 5:06 PM
Namarie all
Varda — Yesterday at 5:06 PM
the gavel sneaks up on the hammerpad and holds still so it can't
be seen
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 5:06 PM
Well, I mean, the crebain were his as well, right?
Varda — Yesterday at 5:06 PM
the hammerpad laughs and bops the gavel
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 5:06 PM
And he was pretty new to the open betrayal thing so he might have
been trying out new sorceries.
Varda — Yesterday at 5:06 PM
it weaves back to the shelf
[5:06 PM]
top
After-meeting!
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 5:06 PM
Pardon, just being funny, not disagreeing that it's possible Saruman
was involved.
Arien Valar — Yesterday at 5:06 PM
sneaky hammerpad
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 5:06 PM
Ah
[5:07 PM]
sneaky gavel, too but not sneaky enough
Varda — Yesterday at 5:07 PM
I would expect Sauron to be trying new things. And Saruman wanted to
be top dog even though he wasn't.
[5:07 PM]
Shades of Guardians of the Galaxy. If you hold still enough, and
stop eating chips...?
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 5:07 PM
I was more reminded of Jurassic Park.
Varda — Yesterday at 5:07 PM
That works too. : )
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 5:08 PM
Implication with the crebain (from Dunland and Fangorn) was that
Saruman was involved.
Varda — Yesterday at 5:08 PM
Saruman was attempting to be inventive. Sauron really was.
[5:08 PM]
Aye to Crebain and Uruk-hai.
[5:09 PM]
Also, Saruman was trying to make rings. He made some that were
"lesser rings". I'd like to have heard more about them.
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 5:09 PM
Small in power, collar in size...
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 5:11 PM
I'd also throw this one out from Aragorn...
Varda — Yesterday at 5:11 PM
Saruman's dog collar "rings"?
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 5:12 PM
"'I do call it the wind,' said Aragorn. ' But that does
not make what you say untrue. There are many evil and unfriendly
things in the world that have little love for those that go on two
legs, and yet are not in league with Sauron, but have purposes of
their own. Some have been in this world longer than he.'"
[5:14 PM]
On "Sauron was inventive." : For certain values of "inventive", yes.
"Inventive" ways to twist and corrupt things already in existence to
be more horrible and malicious. "Inventive" of things of beauty and
intrinsic value, not so much.
[5:15 PM]
He'd long since lost that.
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 5:16 PM
Which is why he made his stuff invisible?
Varda — Yesterday at 5:17 PM
Morgoth depended a lot on Sauron's creativity, brought in from
having worked with Aule, likely.
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 5:17 PM
I queston whether that was more related to the nature of the Rings
themselves.
[5:18 PM]
*the invisibility.
Varda — Yesterday at 5:18 PM
but aye, he was probably losing it in that bad environment.
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 5:18 PM
I meant the wolves, Eonwe
Varda — Yesterday at 5:18 PM
Wargs with lesser rings : )
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 5:18 PM
Aye
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 5:18 PM
The wolves weren't invisible.
Varda — Yesterday at 5:19 PM
We don't really have an answer for why the Warg bodies seemed to
have melted away. It doesn't seem to fit.
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 5:19 PM
We know they weren't there in the morning, that's it.
Varda — Yesterday at 5:19 PM
Something unknown to our side of what was seen, except that effect.
[5:20 PM]
We know the arrows were where the bodies would have been and still
in good condition.
[5:20 PM]
That is just weird.
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 5:21 PM
It is a mystery. My "Complete Guide to Middle-Earth" suggests they
weren't real, but we just established they had to be.
[5:22 PM]
Not the first time we've disagreed with that book, lol :}
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 5:22 PM
Everything points to them vanishing in smoke or something, from
around the arrows.
[5:22 PM]
Disappearing in the sunlight perhaps.
[5:22 PM]
Shadow made flesh.
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 5:23 PM
Like vampires, when they're not busy exploding at the lightest touch
of sunlight, hehe.
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 5:23 PM
Either works for the wargs
[5:23 PM]
Though you'd expect more burnt arrows.
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 5:25 PM
Depends. Some (modern) vampire stories they go out pretty tamely,
others it's quite messy, some it can go either way in the same
story.
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 5:26 PM
Even in Buffy it wasn't consistent... I remember Spike exploding
another vampire with his cigarette, while he himself is never
worried about the things... and Angel has caught fire multiple times
and always gotten out of the sunlight in time, no worse for wear.
[5:27 PM]
It always was a "what the plot demands" kinda thing.
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 5:27 PM
Besides obvious plot armor in those cases, part of it might also be
the unwillingness of the storyteller to make the "good" vampires
opting for such a death to suffer.
[5:28 PM]
Blade 2 and The Librarian: The Judas Chalice are the two that come
to mind right now.
Varda — Yesterday at 5:29 PM
Maybe the Wargs had some kind of advanced arrow removal technique.
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 5:30 PM
hehe
Varda — Yesterday at 5:30 PM
Drag off the carcasses.
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 5:30 PM
Claw goes in, arrow comes out.
Varda — Yesterday at 5:30 PM
by carrying, no drag marks.
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 5:30 PM
Like Wolverine, pushing out bullets?
Varda — Yesterday at 5:30 PM
Chew away a big chunk around the arrow?
[5:30 PM]
He needs to push them out faster, then he can shoot back. : )
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 5:31 PM
hehe
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 5:31 PM
I think I've seen that happen in some movie as well...
[5:33 PM]
Like... someone catching all the bullets with his hand and then
throwing them back at the same speed.
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 5:37 PM
The morgul-blade did melt in sunlight. To what degree that could be
achieved with living creatures is questionable.(edited)
[5:42 PM]
Trolls turned to stone.
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 5:49 PM
Melting wolves would leave a mess.
Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 6:07 PM
Unless it sublimates. Direct to gas.
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 6:07 PM
That works
[6:07 PM]
Or it's immediately soaked into the earth.

Purrrsonal gaming report!
[6:39 PM]
4 new badges for me this week, though one was bugged and I didn't go
very far into the game because of that... but here are the other 3!
[6:42 PM]
https://www.kongregate.com/games/Justin_wang123/rogue-fable-iii
is the first game! As the name suggest, it's a roguelike, taking
place in a dungeon. Quite a few classes to choose from, as well as
gear to collect, stats to upgrade, and talents to choose from.
Kongregate
Rogue Fable III
Rogue Fable III combines the challenge, tactics
and strategy of classic roguelikes with a modern interface and
graphics. Designed from the ground up to be beat...
[6:43 PM]
Necromancer seems to be one of the easiest classes, with both
skeleton summoning and drain life abilities.
[6:43 PM]
But I'm sure they're all winnable with practice and luck
[6:45 PM]
https://www.kongregate.com/games/eddynardo/hasty-shaman
oh look, another puzzle platformer from same creator/style as a few
mentioned in the last few weeks
Kongregate
Hasty Shaman
You asked for it so here it is, another game in
the series. Hope you#39ll enjoy it.
Simple platformer about a Shaman that hastes his
way through the ground.
Cr...
[6:50 PM]
Once again, puzzle your way through the levels to free people from
chests! But in this one you're a shaman who can phase through the
ground, use special ground to switch to a sort of negative
phase where you're immune to fire but can be harmed by ghosts, and
finally turn gravity upside down in other special places. Good luck
finding your way
[6:53 PM]
https://www.kongregate.com/games/VasantJ/medieval-cop-dregg-me-to-hell
for the last game! And here we've got the almost mandatory Medieval
Cop game, the point and click detective series
Kongregate
Medieval Cop - Dregg Me To Hell
Dregg is finally declared insane and is put in a
mental asylum. Except his quottherapyquot needs to wait when people
start disappearing and he has to team up with a...
[6:55 PM]
In this one you're placed in a mental asylum, but when people start
disappearing, and trying to get you out of the way... it's time to
do an investigation!
[6:57 PM]
There's a bit of a switch in theme, though, as things start to get
religious-ish, a theme that would grow more in later games. But
that's mostly near the end, and you can enjoy the puzzling before
then!

Guild Wars:
Well, that didn't go well Went on the next titan quest at
Denravi, where you get less henchmen and they're only level 15...
and couldn't quite get through it. There's an npc to keep alive, and
while the titan mobs continue on their previous strength, the health
on the henchmen just doesn't cut it. During one attempt I lost half
the party just from one aoe attack.
[7:10 PM]
So I think I'll hold here for now. In the meantime I'm reading the
manual of the second campaign, Factions, and should be ready to
start that one in a few weeks
[7:10 PM]
Blizzard gaming:
[7:12 PM]
Heroes of the Storm:
1 level gained, to 455! Good old D.Va to level 13. She saw a few
balance changes in the last patch, but still fun to play
[7:14 PM]
Hearthstone:
Level 91 on the reward track! 2 more weeks should do it.
[7:16 PM]
Bought the Wailing Caverns mini set for 2000 gold, and spent some
more gold on my first of the now-available hero skins, Morgl the
murloc shaman Would like a new hunter next, but not sure yet
whether I'll go for Alleria or Sylvanas.
[7:16 PM]
But let the collecting begin!
[7:18 PM]
Brawl is Just Macaws. Pick a class, get 7 class spells and 23
macaws, which add a random beast to your hand when played. Some
randomness of course, but I won a few times with the hunter, who's
got several beast-spells as well, so is the obvious choice. That
said, I don't think it aided me much in the wins.
[7:19 PM]
Raiding: Still focusing on heroic Denathrius. Had a 1% attempt
earlier in the week. Quite the struggle!
[7:20 PM]
Weekly is arenas! Ups and downs there. Got my first 4 wins all in a
row on wednesday, but had some bad streaks in the days after
Still, overall it's going pretty well.
[7:22 PM]
First week without Torghast, as expected last week... but the quest
is now up, so I'll visit layer 1 in the upcoming days
[7:24 PM]
2 new mounts! Finally got the mount from Valfir, the summonable boss
for the tier 3 conductor, called the Wild Glimmerfur Prowler, a
fox-like creature. And since I now have enough grateful offerings to
buy everything else that needs them, I've stopped going for Valfir
and indeed the other offering-objectives.
[7:25 PM]
And the other mount is the Dauntless Duskrunner, a purple unicorn,
it being the 4-grain Kyrian mount from the conservatory
[7:29 PM]
Finally, more alting! Sent my paladin to the Broken Isles after
going through a rather messy introductory questline featuring
Dalaran. Apparently the first section, featuring Jaina, Magni,
Ulduar and Karazhan, is cut from the live sequence, and can only be
done after teleporting Dalaran to the Broken Isles, rather than
before, as it used to be.
[7:31 PM]
But once I made sense of that, I started the class campaign! Did the
quests to claim The Ashbringer, opened up the class hall, became the
new leader of the Silver Hand, and right as I headed into Dalaran
out of the sanctum I was immediately called back for the next
chapter, which originally in Legion only happened after a few levels
were gained
[7:32 PM]
Next step is getting Tyr's warhammer as my second artifact! Playing
in Holy spec to get it, which will probably take a bit of getting
used to, but with the exception of a bit more healing, a bit less
damage, and the addition of Holy Shock, it doesn't look terribly
different from Retribution.
[7:32 PM]
Paladin's currently in Dragonblight to find a paladin with a key of
sorts, we'll see where next week takes her
[7:33 PM]
Oh, and she's gotten from 30 to 32 during all that. Onward!
[7:36 PM]
And while up to 30 I switched alts every 5 levels, I think this time
I'll see her through to level 48 where she can start Shadowlands. If
I switch now to send the other 2 alts into Legion as well I'm going
to be doing a lot of same or similar quests in parallel rather than
doing the full questline in full one after the other, which would
probably see me quite bored.(edited)
[7:38 PM]
Patch 9.1 seems to be getting closer with the flight-blog, but we're
starting to make big strides towards getting the 3 alts to 60 and
into their covenants
[7:39 PM]
And that's my report for the week!
Ar-Pharazon-V — Yesterday at 8:20 PM

Eonwë Valar — Yesterday at 9:46 PM
