I had two thoughts on Tolkien subjects to pass along. Feel free to
comment!

In the Silmarillion, "Beren and
Luthien", Huan of Valinor was able to take down Sauron.
Sauron kept shape-changing but it didn't help.

Huan held Sauron so that Luthien gave warning to let her have the
castle or else go without a body back to face Morgoth.
Now at this time, Morgoth was the boss of the bads.
Sauron was his right hand.
Should Huan have been able to have this kind of power? Aye or nay or
maybe? : )

Here's another. Huan came from Valinor, not as a traitor but as
himself from that place. He did not have to give up any power
(except maybe being too chatty?) to be in Middle-earth.

Valar.

Many others fought for Morgoth. After the victory, many Men fled
back east where many already wandered refusing the summons of the
Valar and Morgoth alike.

For a time, the Valar forsook those men as they took the friends of
Morgoth to be their masters.
So Men for a time dwelt in darkness and trouble by the evil things
left from Morgoth such as demons and dragons, misshapen beasts, and
Orcs that are a mockery of the Children of Eru.
(That's not quoting, but boiled down.)

(especially Sauron and the Balrogs) it seems to me like there is
absolutely nothing wrong with Huan being incredibly strong.

Thoughts on Huan i had no time to throw in yet: Huan was acting on
behalf of the Valar in service of a greater force .. they new that
the Silmaril needed saving and thus Beren and Luthien and thus
...eventually was ensured that the one ring was destroyed and Sauron
defeated until the last battle

Being that currently the boat to Darnassus in Stormwind
is broken, Argent Dawn (EU) has it's own resident Captain
Placeholder. Someone went through the time and effort to
create a Captain Placeholder character in RP, and have him provide

Everyone has a rough time in the Maw, starting out, and I wouldn't
say it gets terribly easier just yet.

Well, in most places. The places you're likely to frequent early on
are probably safer relatively with the current gearing, but not
having that Eye of the Jailer sitting over you as punishment anytime
you have to kill something helps.

Last week of midsummer now. Got the legendary questline done,
getting myself a Druid of the Flame druid hero skin. But I still
prefer Hazelbark

Brawl is the Clockwork Card Dealer: each turn you will, if possible,
draw a card costing that amount of mana. 1 mana on turn 1, etc.
Makes for interesting tempo-ing, as you'll always have a card to
play.

Found myself a sort of tempo hunter deck that has some powerful
synergies at low mana, but also a ton of high level legendaries for
the endgame.

Weekly being arena skirmishes, I've been going in there in guardian
spec again, which is going pretty well, though less lucky than last
time.

Finally got around to doing chapter 4 of the new campaign, unlocking
flight! It also gave me, as a crafter, the legendary recipe to
create a reagent, allowing base legendary armor pieces to be
increased in ilevel.

Got my renown up to 48 along the way, unlocking the
covenant-specific legendary power.

Oh, and in my hunt for anima-bought appearance, the Night Courtier's
waist appearance got, furthering that purple recolor of the
Ardenweald set

And with no time for Torghast or alting this week, I suppose that's
my report for the week!
