Irmo commented that the movie and
book versions of both Faramir and Elrond did not match well,
although we like the actors. The writing itself was the problem
because it messed with their personalities, not just something
minor.

Well, for Faramir it comes to mind that he wanted to take the Ring
to Minas Tirith at first in the movie, while in the book he
recognized very early on that he'd best not interfere with it.

but I'm pretty sure he didn't go out of his way to deliver a sword
to Rohan and I'm guessing he wasn't pressuring his daughter to take

concerneed the brothers Boromir and Faramir. They were very
different yet they seemed to care about each other as brothers
should. What were some differences and what showed that they liked
each other?

To start, I'd say Boromir was an upfront warrior leading armies in
open battle, while Faramir was a sneaky ranger ambushing people.
Each useful in their own way, but Boromir commanding a bit more
respect from his father and probably the people.

Denethor was annoyed with Faramir for being "a wizard's pupil",
influenced by Gandalf perhaps more than himself, so it felt like
loyalty divided. Boromir seemed to Denethor to be "loyal" to him.

despite their differences indeed and encouraged each other .. that
is Boromir more Faramir as he perceived how the bullying hurt his
brother

streak almost and a trait of kindness that led to the defense of
Pippin and Merry , his courage to confess to Aragorn that he tried

Still level 435. Noticed that the Overwatch daily quest also
included Nexus heroes from now on, so also including the lost
vikings and the Nexus-original heroes. With that, every hero is
covered among the franchises

Hearthstone
still going strong! Level 29 now on the reward track. Got a
legendary card as one of the rewards, being Sayge, Seer of Darkmoon,

Went through the Maw intro, explored Oribos the new capital city for
a while, gazed at the skybox while pinpointing the other 5 zones in
the sky (Maw looks really scary from above), and started Bastion.

Started the path of the aspirant there, while harvesting precious
anima on questgivers' personal whims. Honestly, if it's so scarce,
why are we wasting it on a forge just because the forgelite misses
working with her hands?

Oh, and got to level 52 along the way

Ah, and yes, visiting Arathi every time the warfront quests are up
paid off, as I got a new horsy from an undead guy, the Highland
Mustang!

Only one mount remaining from that zone now.

So yeah, time to slowly go through the afterlife. Lots of quests
going on, but we'll get there!
