As for Eonwe's question, a physical (retail) CE has been announced
on one of the blogposts, though details are yet to come.
It will come in heroic and epic versions... guess which one I'm
going for!

The nullsec "blackout" has ended, and CCP's started giving us
glimpses of the plans they have for the rest of this year and next.
They've created a new team that will be doing small updates every
two weeks, and we've already seen the first few of those.

I just got back last week from the Eve Vegas meetup, after having
done Berlin and Torn ot earlier (where I won the tournament that
gets me to Fanfest in Iceland next year).

The announcements they've done have injected some much needed hope
in the game, and it looks like CCP might just be turning a corner.
They announced that their current #2 issue they're looking at is
wealth inequality (sorry Elrond) so hopefully next year we see some
real progress on that.
But! Relevant to you all, they're currently putting 80% of all dev
time on Eve into the new player experience, cleaning is up and
streamlining it
so there's never been a better time to join eve today!
On a personal eve note, we're involved in war again, and it's going
quite nicely. We expect some big fights over the next couple weeks,
so hopefully I'll have some nice screenshots and maybe even a video
or two to show y'all around Thanksgiving. :slight_smile:

The new Minas Morgul expansion is expected to go live in a week.
The Harvestmath festival has been extended to continue into that
week just ahead of the expansion.

It's one way to recognize a High King, aye.
Such a person has an ability to use athelas/kingsfoil to heal away
the shadow from the Enemy.
I suspect it has to do with a bit of Maia and elf blood back in
there, triggering the ability of one of Yavanna's gifts.

corruption and putting his power into the planet.
Sauron apparently did a lot of that kind of work for Morgoth. So
Morgoth may have added to his power so he could do that. Like Sauron

This is quite likely, the addition of power to Sauron, as it was
known to be done. I didn't see it mentioned specifically, but
consider the implication to be there. And JRRT loved implications,

Blizzard games:
Heroes of the Storm:
level 377 now, so two levels gained!
This includes getting D.Va to level 9 and, through brawls, Sonya to
level 4. Which is pretty high for a hero I've only used in brawls.
Hearthstone:
Still pushing on with the classes. Most of them are in their last
third of the level now. Hallow's End event is now over, and the
brawl is Captain Blackheart's Treasure, where you start with a deck
of 30 pirates and then get to discover cards each turn to put in
your hand. Lot of luck needed with random choices, but fun to see if
you get anything good
WoW:
More raiding, Azshara defeated today, so tuesday is actually planned
to be our first Mythic attempt at the raid if we get the numbers.
Should be interesting! Got no new loot from the raid, but I did get
some interesting gloves for feral spec through a keystone dungeon.
Did not think I'd still get upgrades through there.
Weekly is arena skirmishes, for which the brawl count as well! The
brawl being a 40 vs 40 battleground with everyone smashing into each
other in an instanced Hillsbrad until one side gets 150 kills, it's
pretty much as far from an arena as you can get... but it still
counts.
Still, as busy as this weekend's been with Blizzcon and everything,
I'm only at 6 out of 10 wins so far. Will have to grind the last 4
tomorrow and tuesday.
I got my necklace to level 70! That's the cap for now, which means
azerite is no use for me until the next patch. Most of the rewards,
especially from world quests and missions, have converted to other
stuff like gold or war resources. There's also a quest involved, but
i've not had time for it yet.
Oh, forgot to mention from raiding... got a new pet from the Azshara
lootchest! Zan'jir Poker, a small baby naga with a trident. Very
cute!
More stuff from expeditions too! One of the last 3 queststarters I
was missing, the Wriggling Mass, Old God related. The last one I
really wanted before 8.3 because of its relevancy I'm sure the
other 2 will come eventually too.
I also got enough dubloons for a new toy, the Cranky Crab, which you
can use on a pet to have it ride the crab as a mount. 10 minutes
cooldown and duration, so often useable, but it's significantly
slower than normal petspeed, so if you're constantly moving it'll
probably despawn. Still, good for raid-pacing, since you'll fight
trash along the way.
Works on every pet I've tried so far, including the very large ones,
looks quite silly
Continuing the search for the Waist of Time, with all 20 objects and
clues gotten. Next up is a forgotten farmstead in Arathi, where an
npc will be the key for the remaining steps of the secret. I've
gotten most of the equipment I'll need for that part already, so
shouldn't take long.. when I have time again.
Unfortunately it's a busy week and weekend, with lots of
appointments as well as Blizzcon stuff to watch and read. So I won't
get much progress. Also, 15th anniversary event is around the
corner, with mounts to collect through various means. Priorities!
And finally, Blizzcon and anniversary related, two figurines of a
footman and orc arrived in the mail this week Unique for the
25th anniversary, free for Blizzcon-goers but they were also
available as separate orders, which is how I got them. They look
really nice, and even my mother likes them enough to suggest putting
them up on my computer-closet in the living room, so they're right
above me
