ArienV - Yesterday at 5:20 PM

Ar-Pharazon-V - Yesterday at 5:21 PM
Heroes of the Storm:
Nexomania event started, the summer event for this year as far as I can see, though it'll last for less than a month.
Based on mexican wrestling or something, some new skins and sprays and
banners and stuff ,as well as 2 questlines: Choose to side with either
Lunara or Sonya to earn specific rewards.
Lot of wins and take-downs needed in a reasonably short amount of time,
so whoever wants to go for it, don't wait too long! I know I'll miss a
few days next week but should still be fine.

Ar-Pharazon-V - Yesterday at 5:32 PM

ArienV - Yesterday at 5:33 PM
Hm .. let us start simple .. sort of
When Aragorn and the
four Hobbits lefft Bree , they met with a particular problem before
they could start their trek. What problem was that and how was it
solved?
Ar-Pharazon-V - Yesterday at 5:35 PM
Hmm. That part is a bit hazy, but I think it has something to do with Bill the pony?
Maybe they needed a pack animal?
ArienV - Yesterday at 5:37 PM
nothing wrong with your memory there  After the four riders
searched the inn all the horses that were for hire had fled as
they all had been stabled at the Pony
only one pony was available
Ar-Pharazon-V - Yesterday at 5:37 PM
ah yes!
ArienV - Yesterday at 5:38 PM
and that belonged to who?
Ar-Pharazon-V - Yesterday at 5:38 PM
Bill Ferny, I believe.
ArienV - Yesterday at 5:38 PM
correct
and he had been seen talking with a swarty southerner the night beforfe
in the end the five got that pony and compensation for the lost ones
your turn

Ar-Pharazon-V - Yesterday at 5:40 PM

hmm the walk to rivendell brought a couple of surprises to Aragorn
and even to Frodo
the biggest and first surprise was which and on what occasion?
about sam
that is
Ar-Pharazon-V - Yesterday at 5:57 PM
Hmm. Can't have been his singing abilities, I thought that was after the stabbing...
ArienV - Yesterday at 5:57 PM
what are you thinking of?
Ar-Pharazon-V - Yesterday at 5:58 PM
The song he sang at the troll place.
ArienV - Yesterday at 5:58 PM
Ar-Pharazon-V - Yesterday at 5:58 PM
I might be confusing things a bit
ArienV - Yesterday at 5:58 PM
thats what i was getting at
Ar-Pharazon-V - Yesterday at 5:58 PM
Was that the first surprise?
ArienV - Yesterday at 5:59 PM
I think so . i might be wrong there
at least it is the first i can remember
ArienV - Yesterday at 6:00 PM
unless you courese the courage or defiance he showed in Bree at the Pony when he didn't trustStrider yet
Ar-Pharazon-V - Yesterday at 6:00 PM
I might be confusing it with the movie, but in there it was after
weathertop, and I'd say getting stabbed by some ringwraiths was a
surprise.
ArienV - Yesterday at 6:01 PM
unless of course you couint
count
my appologies .. typing is getting chaotic
yes but it doesn't concern Sam
Ar-Pharazon-V - Yesterday at 6:02 PM
Ah, you meant to add Sam in the first statement of the question, rather than as a hint.
ArienV - Yesterday at 6:02 PM
indeed yes
Ar-Pharazon-V - Yesterday at 6:02 PM
Very well, then the singing indeed!
ArienV - Yesterday at 6:03 PM
do you want to add another question to finish the round and call it afterwards with the official part ?
Ar-Pharazon-V - Yesterday at 6:03 PM
Sure, let me think of something.

Who did Aragorn and the hobbits expect to find at Weathertop, and what did they find in the person's stead?
ArienV - Yesterday at 6:14 PM
They hoped to find Gandalf
and meet up with him there
instead they found the runes .. the three lines and ghe G rune
which showed them Gandalf was there 3 days before
Ar-Pharazon-V - Yesterday at 6:15 PM
Correct!
ArienV - Yesterday at 6:16 PM
they also found instead four o the riders which attavcked at night
Ar-Pharazon-V - Yesterday at 6:16 PM
Yes, that's true
top
ArienV - Yesterday at 6:16 PM
i . however i am going to find my bed now and expect it is there ^^
and on that note
Ar-Pharazon-V - Yesterday at 6:17 PM
Hmm, I'll throw in my personal gaming then, and hope Varda finds it!
ArienV - Yesterday at 6:18 PM

lovely bonfire to tell many tales but what is that .. that self
same firebrand forms a fire gavel and explodes into a thousands

Personal gaming report!
Flashgames:
http://www.freewebarcade.com/game/lost-without-you/
is the first game! Pretty short, but can be tricky. Two friends lost in
a dark maze, alternating control of each friend as you try to reunite
them. The problem is, you've got a limited timer on the available
light, but you can collect fireflies as you go to increase the timer.
4 levels, but not much of an increase of difficulty, I think. Just gotta keep their relative position to each other in mind.
https://www.kongregate.com/games/MaxGreden/woodlings
is the second game! Make gatherers, miners and guards, upgrade stuff,
survive attacking waves! Interesting to find a balance between all the
things you have to upgrade.
Kongregate
Woodlings
Survive waves of angry orcs by managing resources and your small outpost in the forest.
Ar-Pharazon-V - Yesterday at 7:06 PM
Hint: Start with mining
https://www.kongregate.com/games/bontegames/red
for the third game! Sequel to yellow, which I'm sure I've linked before
 I'd almost linked this one a few weeks ago but figured it'd
get badges, and those badges would show up in the weekly list soon
enough, and here it is.

Blizzard games:
Hearthstone:
Just pushing on, got every class at least a bit of visible progress to
the next level. Brawl this week was old, but fun and random: Cloneball!
Random legendaries in your deck, each cloned 4 times, with extra cards
to make one particular legendary (and its clones) much cheaper to play.
Heroes of the Storm:
Level 276 now! One of them being Tassadar at level 15, giving him the
golden portrait, and forcing me to get another Starcraft support hero.
Probably going to be Morales. I'm not really a fan of pure support
heroes without much of a dps side to them, but perhaps forcing myself
into teamwork can be a good thing now and then.
Brawl this week: Random heroes on a single-lane in the Lost Cavern. Had
some fun with Zul'jin in that one, and stumbled on a pretty good
talent-spec as I went along. Maybe I'll remember what it was when I
eventually start leveling him
Also, started the Nexomania quests, having chosen the Lunara side.
First quest complete, second nearly done, then the last 2 will have to
be done in the 10 days or so after I return from vacation.
WoW:
Been a bit of an odd week, having had to move things up the schedule to
make up for tonight's absence and next week's vacation. So had to rush
a few things, and didn't have much time for the extra projects in the
second half of the week.
No new stuff from old raids, did get a new tier headpiece from heroic
Antorus, almost full heroic gear now for both my main specs. Also got a
new legendary, which is my first alt-legendary after having completed
the entire druid set of legendaries. In this case, a paladin token,
which is rather interesting because my paladin was my first alt on this
server and a good candidate for leveling after I possibly run out of
stuff to do with the druid.
Weekly quest was timewalks (Northrend), which I pretty much pushed
through right at the start of the reset. Still gathering those
timewarped badges!
No new emissary/paragon rewards this week, but I did get a mount from
Vrax'thul, one of the rares on Argus. Since he shares that mount with
Puscilla, I can now stop killing both rares.
Green version of another mount I'd gotten from one of those rares, I
suspect all the mounts that drop from Argus rares are reskins of each
other. Have not bothered to check for sure
Made some good progress with the Ashran premade on friday, completing
the achievement for 5000 Ashran kills and getting another piece for
Bounty Hunter. That's a really annoying one though, and I won't be too
sad if I never complete it, unless I manage to find a friend with a
bunch of maxed horde races or something to make a deal for the pieces.
Other projects continuing slowly, if slower than they would've been if I wasn't going away
Finished the demon eye farm, collecting the pet, as well as getting the
dropped toy from the rare at the other side of the portal.
Then I focused on some of the crafted mini-games, each with their own achievement.
Hot Swapper is for the Jewelcrafting Bejeweled-type minigame, which
went quite smoothly; I got the 250000 points required in one try of
about 10 minutes at most.
But the other one, The Shortest Distance, was a lot more fun! In the
Blingtron Circuit Tutorial game, you have to unravel mazes of nodes and
lines by swapping the nodes to keep the lines from crossing each other
(simpler than I make it sound, perhaps) and have to get to level 20 for
the achievement. Takes a while, especially on the later puzzles, but
it's the kind of logical approach that I love in a puzzle, and time
just flew by  I will repeat the game more often in the future
just because of how much I enjoy it.
Level 20 is not the last one though; level 18 to 23 or so is the same
type of level but with more and more concentric circles. 22 and 23 are
so filled with lines and nodes that most of it is a pink blur; I know
someone on wowhead completed 23 by using a ruler to identify where each
line leads, but that gets a bit ridiculous for me (and after completing
23, it just went on repeat). I took my time completing level 21 and
then stopped. The logical steps are basically the same anyway, for
those last few levels.
Still, the first 20 levels or so are quite fun and I recommend it
And finally, in the little spare time I had this weekend, I decided to
start on Broken Isles Safari, collecting all the Broken Isles wild
battle pets. I always make those more challenging to myself by only
going for rare versions, but have already gotten quite a few from
Azsuna and Suramar, as well as a pet I'd discovered had appeared in the
old Northrend version of Dalaran, a candle you have to cheer at.

Ar-Pharazon-V - Yesterday at 7:57 PM
Probably won't have much time for more of that next weekend, since i'll
have a lot of catching up to do, but I do intend on getting all the
pets from Broken Isles and Argus in the next few weeks
Aiya!
And that's my report for the week
