my mouth
Varda Valar (21:12:51): Use it say things lke that
golem soldier and that could help. :)

Elladan (22:10:36): yep
Elladan (22:10:56): the apartment was temporary
anyhow. Was planning on a house
Ar-Pharazon-V (22:11:01): Ah.
Eonwe Valar (22:11:26): Just a quick warning: You may
experience problems with the website as a whole while I try to work
some stuff out, but it'll be brief, so if you do just give it a couple

Varda Valar (23:14:57): Changed from green to pale
grey on the dividers, so it wouldn't take over so badly when looking at
it.
Varda Valar (23:15:17): Feel free to make
suggestions, such as pale green or nothing at all. :)
Games Site:
Varda Valar (23:16:00): Eonwe has been working hard
on the Games Site, still wrestling code. Going live throws a lot of new
wrinkles into the fabric.

Varda Valar (23:21:09): Thank you, Eonwe. :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:21:27): Look away when the Heroes of the Storm swimsuit skins
are coming... it's quite terrible ;)
Varda Valar (23:22:05): Funny? :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:22:11): Somewhat.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:22:18): If that's your type of
humor.
Varda Valar (23:22:39): Ok, looking away now. :)
Varda Valar (23:23:17): Lenwe has a game he's been
trying out, and is willing to give us a review. Take it away, Lenwe!
Lenwe (-V) (23:25:54): I've been playing quite a lot
of DotA
again recently, Valve's version of Heroes of the Storm. The game
recently went through Version 7, and has a much more streamlined user
interface now, and most heroes are well-balanced :) Your hero options
are broadly divided into agility-based, intelligence-based, and
strength-based. The agility heroes are mostly "right-clickers" that
grow strong towards the end of the game, intelligence heroes tend to be
strong spell casters, and the strength ones are tanky with a lot of hit
points and regen. I've only played HotS a few times so I unfortunately
can't offer a detailed comparison for the Blizzard crowd. Lots of fun
though.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:26:31): agility, intelligence,
strength? That seems more Warcraft than HotS ;)
Lenwe (-V) (23:26:42): Ah!
Eonwe Valar (23:26:46): Or D1 :}
Lenwe (-V) (23:27:05): The original DotA was a mod
from Warcraft III, I believe, so that makes sense
Eonwe Valar (23:27:08): Well, strictly about the
stats.
Lenwe (-V) (23:28:25): There are also some insanely
high-winning tournaments out there, with payouts well in excess of $1M.
Valve does a great job of broadcasting those games, and in my
experience they are just as exciting as football
Varda Valar (23:29:24): Thank you! Interesting.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:30:15): I think those were the
original Warcraft 3 stats? Though in this case, agility mostly
increased attackspeed too.
Lenwe (-V) (23:30:27): Agility increases attack speed
and armor
Lenwe (-V) (23:30:37): Strength increases hit points
and hit point regen
Lenwe (-V) (23:30:49): Intelligence increases mana,
mana regen, and spell strength
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:31:19): Yes, that's very much
Warcraft 3 :) And all 3 increased damage for their respective
characters?
Eonwe Valar (23:31:37): Aye, in WC3
Lenwe (-V) (23:31:48): And then whichever stat is
your hero's "primary" stat will increase damage. So an intelligence
hero gets damage benefit from intelligence, agility from agility, etc.
Varda Valar (23:33:04): Thank you, Lenwe.
Varda Valar (23:33:09): LotRO:
Varda Valar (23:33:32): Thursdays we add a new Year
quest. Currently we are in Year 8.
Varda Valar (23:33:55): Guides for the Year /
Scavenger quests are available on our News. :)
Varda Valar (23:35:08): Here's a Helpful workaround
from Cordovan for users of Windows XP or Vista having trouble starting
the Launcher since the last update.
Varda Valar (23:35:19): Hobnangians is going.
Varda Valar (23:35:36): Weatherstock is July 22.
Varda Valar (23:35:58): That's when a lot of LotRO
bands play on Weathertop over a period of days, on schedule.
Varda Valar (23:36:35): A handy link: LotRO news on
the LotRO Beacon, by Cordovan.
Varda Valar (23:36:54): Any other general LotrO news?
Varda Valar (23:37:37): We still need to work on
using Discord for our gaming, but it seems pretty good. Popular with a
lot of kins, taking over even from Teamspeak.
Varda Valar (23:37:58): Switching now to fellow
Valarites seen this past week in our gaming. :)

Varda Valar (23:39:32): yay Flad!
Arien V (23:39:45): Lothar

Varda Valar (23:39:52): Elladan was also in WoW
Lothar this past week
Varda Valar (23:39:59): and Nob
Arien V (23:40:29): i havent seen them tho ^^ at
least not in the guild .. it seems Nob left the guild with one
character#
Varda Valar (23:40:51): Aye, just the one to run with
some casual raiders.
Arien V (23:41:04): ah right
Varda Valar (23:41:08): He also does that in LotRO.
Eonwe Valar (23:41:25): He let me know he joined a
casual raiding guild with that character, but his others are still in
the guild. He also has the Valar channel up, so he can still be spoken
to through there when he's on that character.
Varda Valar (23:41:26): Still one of us, though. :)
Varda Valar (23:42:21): Also, grats to Lenwe on the
solid state drive!
Varda Valar (23:43:18): Ahh, on Discord: Arien, Falco, Gil-galad,
Lenwe, myself.
Varda Valar (23:43:57): To make your name show
whatever you want in our server, you can type /nick Yourchosenname
Varda Valar (23:44:11): That's a nice feature.
Lenwe (-V) (23:44:33): Nice! I didn't know that :)
Varda Valar (23:44:36): It only changes it on the one
server, so you are still recognized on other names on other servers if
you like.
Varda Valar (23:45:08): Handy tip from Gil-galad.
Varda Valar (23:45:28): Therre you go. Shows Lenwe
now. :)
Varda Valar (23:45:43): That's one thing it would be
nice to have in AIM.
Lenwe (-V) (23:45:51): That would be very convenient
Varda Valar (23:46:33): Any other business, news,
suggestions, instance requests, intentions to add to the Tolkien Site,
etc?
Varda Valar (23:47:08): New places have been added to
the Places page while working on the Timeline, with no links, to show
article needed.
Varda Valar (23:47:31): Such placeholders are all
over the site, ready for input, as Short Circuit said.
Varda Valar (23:47:43): If there's no other business?
Eonwe Valar (23:47:59): Malfunction, Need Input? :}
Varda Valar (23:48:08): hehe
Varda Valar (23:48:13): Need more input.
Arien V (23:48:23): Five alive ..
Varda Valar (23:48:28): :)
Arien V (23:48:41): :)
Varda Valar (23:48:43): Ok, moving on to
top
Varda Valar (23:48:46): Tolkien:
Varda Valar (23:49:06): First, we have a nifty link
from Gil-galad, who's been helping as a reporter for us. :)
Varda Valar (23:49:21): Beren and Luthien book article
link, recommended by Gil-galad-(V).
Varda Valar (23:49:57): If anyone has a
Tolkien-related question, or Moment in the books they'd like to share,
let me know and we'll get to it.
Varda Valar (23:50:10): Meanwhile, here's a question:
Varda Valar (23:50:22): Who are the Raft-elves?
Varda Valar (23:50:33): (They're in the Hobbit book.)
Arien V (23:51:49): the Elves from Thorins hall that
transport the wine barrels to Lake-town?
Arien V (23:52:16): rather they bind them together
and throw them down the river i think and make sure they get there
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:52:19): Mirkwood elves whose sole
job it was to get wine barrels traveling between Mirkwood and Lake-town?
Varda Valar (23:52:31): Think you meant to say
Thranduil's Hall?
Arien V (23:52:40): err Thranduils hall yes :D#
Varda Valar (23:52:49): Starts with Th. :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:52:56): Seems a rather boring job.
How many barrels a week are we talking about here?
Varda Valar (23:53:09): They, however, don't live in
the Halls.
Arien V (23:53:14): just to remind you i dont do
names *cough* . i am a number person .. not a names one ..
Varda Valar (23:53:18): A lot,actually.
Varda Valar (23:53:44): Fortunately we can help each
other. Y'all help me a lot of times too, thank you for that!
Varda Valar (23:54:03): Think how many trucks of food
and drink go to even a small town.
Varda Valar (23:54:44): The raft-elves are not in the
Halls at all. They take care of a special problem. What is that problem
for the barrels?
Varda Valar (23:57:35): This group gets very little
attention but could be quite interesting for fan fic. :)
Varda Valar (23:58:05): The barrels going down the
river hit a bend and many are stuck there. They would never make it to
Lake-town.
Varda Valar (23:58:33): These elves have a small
village in that spot.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:59:08): An entire village of
barrelriders.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:59:18): It always seemed a bit
overkill to me.
Varda Valar (23:59:26): Even in the dark, they knew
the barrels of dwarves were coming and were there quickly, wading out
to the barrels.
Arien V (23:59:39): the raft elves are good friends
with the vine cellar master :)
Varda Valar (23:59:45): They rope them together into
rafts and send them around the bend.
Monday, June 5, 2017
Varda Valar (00:00:10): You may thinking of the
keeper of the keys? The Captain that was the guard over the dwarves?
Arien V (00:00:23): uh yes that one
Arien V (00:00:31): the keeper of the keys
Arien V (00:01:01): anyway he had a barrel set aside
.. i think#
Varda Valar (00:01:35): Bilbo said that person was a
likable elf. :) Apparently he and the cellar guy had some Dorwinion
wine set aside that had been intended for the King's table. Probably
had an oversupply.
Varda Valar (00:01:51): The two weren't used to the
strength of the Dorwinion.
Arien V (00:01:55): aye that was it
Varda Valar (00:02:09): So they passed out, giving
Bilbo his chance to smuggle out the dwarves in the barrels.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:02:20): Kingy can't have been too
happy with all that.
Varda Valar (00:03:03): True.
Varda Valar (00:03:40): Bilbo left and couldn't tell
us what punishment they received, maybe having to go to the Raft-elf
village for a time. :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:03:51): "You drink my wine, *and*
you let the prisoners escape because of it?"
Varda Valar (00:04:16): The Raft-elves were rather
amazing in how well they knew when the barrels were coming, even the
unscheduled ones with dwarves.
Elladan (00:04:18): @(^_^)@
Varda Valar (00:04:27): The barrels were supposed to
be empty.
Varda Valar (00:04:37): Aiyata, Elladan. :)
Elladan (00:04:43): aiya
Arien V (00:04:50): aiyata
Varda Valar (00:04:54): (Lenwe is installing his SSD
drive right now.)
Elladan (00:05:15): my new puter has a SSD too
Elladan (00:05:17): :)
Elladan (00:05:18): can't wait
Varda Valar (00:05:28): Apparently the raft-elves
normally scavenged from full barrels, but
Varda Valar (00:05:38): this time, due to the
lateness of the hour, they did not.
Varda Valar (00:06:12): It's possible that Bilbo had
planned this whole thing, as he was lurking in the Halls invisibly
quite a few days.
Varda Valar (00:06:28): And Bilbo also burgled the
Raft-elves for food, including a pie. :)
Elladan (00:07:20): Happy 100th
to The Book of Lost Tales
Varda Valar (00:07:25): These raft-elves are
something of a mystery, and suggest there were other groups we never
heard about, also associated with Thranduil.
Varda Valar (00:07:34): Huzzah! Thanks, Elladan. :)
Elladan (00:07:46): my contribution for the day
Varda Valar (00:07:55): Good contribution!
Varda Valar (00:09:08): We know the raft-elves
village was on the bend of the river, not right next to the Halls where
so many went to have a place of safety, hiding from the Necromancer's
forces at least to sleep or rest at times.
Varda Valar (00:09:18): Like a castle keep for the
surrounding farmers.
Varda Valar (00:10:00): We know that sometimes
Thranduil's elves would go riding outside the forest, needing to leave
the closeness for a rest.
Varda Valar (00:10:23): Possibly some of the elves
that especially needed that would volunteer to work as raft-elves.
Varda Valar (00:13:47): Who else might be there?
Speculation welcome.
Varda Valar (00:13:58): (Hi from Eowyn on the phone.)
Elladan (00:13:58): Huey Lewis
Varda Valar (00:14:14): I have no idea who that is,
sorry. :)
Elladan (00:14:16): Hi Eowyn
Elladan (00:14:26): singer from the 80s
Arien V (00:17:17): indeed . :)
Arien V (00:17:37): i remember him
Eonwe Valar (00:17:39): Funny you should mention Huey
Lewis, I was just watching the Back
to the Future Trilogy.
Elladan (00:17:48): quite popular then
Elladan (00:17:54): LOL
Arien V (00:18:30): maybe rangers might turn up
sometimes in that raft village
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:18:34): Doesn't ring a bell to me,
but then I'm from the 80s ;)
Elladan (00:18:46): I Want A New Drug
Arien V (00:18:48): Huey Lewis and the newws
Elladan (00:19:05): the power of love
Elladan (00:19:10): hip to be square
Elladan (00:19:14): the heart of rock & roll
Lenwe (-V) (00:19:15): Ha, that was also apparently
before my time
Elladan (00:19:28): and, from Back to the Future....
Back In Tiime :P
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:19:35): Maybe he wasn't that
popular in the Netherlands.
Eonwe Valar (00:19:43): Power of Love was in there
too :}
Elladan (00:20:13): Bas Rutten... you know him? :P
Elladan (00:20:16): from Netherlands
Elladan (00:20:22): Alistair Overeem
Eonwe Valar (00:20:23): To the topic: Would the
Rangers go out that far?
Elladan (00:20:34): oh sorry for the derailment
Varda Valar (00:20:46): Anyway, as for who Raft-elves
could be.
Arien V (00:20:58): they might i think#
Varda Valar (00:21:03): they would mostly be sivlans
of Thranduil's, but also
Varda Valar (00:21:26): they might be a natural fit
for any remaining Avari.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:22:00): Assuming Thranduil would
associate with them.
Lenwe (-V) (00:22:06): Presumably they didn't make
much from their business...a fraction of what Thranduil received?
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:22:07): Or employ them.
Varda Valar (00:22:24): I see no reason why Thranduil
would not welcome the Avari.
Varda Valar (00:22:53): He and Oropher wanted to "go
native", reason they were with the silvans and Legolas was raised much
like a silvan.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:23:00): I always got the feeling
the Avari were not very well liked or trusted by their kin. But I
suppose that works.
Varda Valar (00:23:11): The Avari would be very much
like that.
Varda Valar (00:23:45): The Noldor might not have
been very fond of the Avari, the Refusers, since they were big on
having gone to Valinor, or their ancestors having gone.
Eonwe Valar (00:23:47): For some Avari, it was more
the other way around.
Varda Valar (00:24:13): It would be hard to tell the
Avari apart from the Silvans.
Varda Valar (00:24:29): The Silvans may have welcomed
them in, and they could have assimilated.
Varda Valar (00:24:47): The Silvans asked the Sindar,
not the Noldor, to teach them and work with them.
Eonwe Valar (00:24:58): Pulling from HoME, as memory
serves the Tatyar that did not become Noldor were rather unhappy about
their Calaquendi counterparts.
Varda Valar (00:25:05): The exception would be
Galadriel, but she was married to a Sinda.
Varda Valar (00:25:28): Did it say why?
Eonwe Valar (00:25:41): They did but my mind is
glossing over it :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:26:40): Silly cousins of ours,
crafting things instead of living in harmony with nature!
Varda Valar (00:26:44): Ok, it looks as if it's about
time to call the meeting to an end. Eonwe is going to need to leave
soon.
Varda Valar (00:26:52): heh
Varda Valar (00:27:02): Aule vs Yavanna? :)
Eonwe Valar (00:27:08): I'd try to find it but my
time is short and I don't even remember which book to look in right now.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:27:08): Right :)
Varda Valar (00:27:38): Might be a fun thing to bring
up during the week in AIM or Discord or both, if you happen to think of
it.
Varda Valar (00:27:59): *grabs a hammer, one part
wooden, one part metal*
Varda Valar (00:28:26): *the hammer head splits in
two, the hammer pad hurriedly splits in two to receive them both*
Eonwe Valar (00:28:32): As I recall it would be in
the same book/section that discusses the different elven
languages/translations for Calaquendi/Moriquendi.
Varda Valar (00:28:34): *Thonk-Tingggg*
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:28:58): So the head of the hammer
itself is split into wood and metal?
Varda Valar (00:29:03): *the hammer-heads slide back
together and the hammer is replaced on the shelf, carefully*
Varda Valar (00:29:06): Aye
top
Varda Valar (00:29:12): After-meeting!
Varda Valar (00:29:16): Free chat!
Arien V (00:29:30): *each splitter glows in golden
sunshine*
Elladan (00:29:31): didn't mean to interrupt with the
music aside.
Eonwe Valar (00:29:34): If I can complete the Games
Site update tonight I will try to find it.
Varda Valar (00:29:39): Sort of like the one side
black and one side white aliens on Star Trek original. :)
Varda Valar (00:29:49): No worries, Elladan.
Eonwe Valar (00:29:56): No worries, Elladan :}
Eonwe Valar (00:30:05): What Varda said, hehe.
Varda Valar (00:30:22): This is a good time, during
After-meeting, if you'd like to talk more about the music guy. I wasn't
sure why you brought him up, thought it might be related somehow?
Varda Valar (00:30:36): Not familiar with him to know.
Elladan (00:30:38): I was trying to be funny
Elladan (00:30:44): you said who else might be there
Varda Valar (00:30:45): o ok. :)
Elladan (00:30:49): and that name popped in my head
Varda Valar (00:30:56): tough when a joke has to be
explained. :)
Varda Valar (00:31:00): That works.
Eonwe Valar (00:31:09): I must now be off, so take
care all, good night, sleep well, and perhaps see you later tonight :}
Elladan (00:31:18): cya Eonwe
Varda Valar (00:31:19): Namarie Eonwe!
Arien V (00:31:35): take care Eonwe :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:31:51): Namarie!
Lenwe (-V) (00:32:04): Namarie!
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:34:17): Guess I'll get started on
my personal gaming report?
Varda Valar (00:34:29): If you like.
Varda Valar (00:34:40): Not interrupting anything. :)
Elladan (00:34:48): ...like I did
Elladan (00:34:49): lol
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:34:51): Right, just finding some
games...
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:36:05): maybe not, my browser just
decided to pick this time to get a bit screwy
Varda Valar (00:38:14): Oh, here's a link:
Varda Valar (00:38:17): http://valarguild.org/varda/Tolkien/encyc/articles/r/RaftElves/raftelves.htm
Varda Valar (00:38:32): We could use an artist for
the subject too. :)
Arien V (00:45:17): bedtime for me i fear :/
Arien V (00:45:24): last night was a bit shortg
Arien V (00:45:47): Namarie all :0
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:45:47): Namarie!
Arien V (00:45:51): :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:48:44): Gaming report! Starting
with flashgaming
Lenwe (-V) (00:52:33): Oop, namarie Arien!
Varda Valar (00:52:48): Namarie, Arien
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:57:33): http://www.kongregate.com/games/chengt4/shadow-swap
is the first game! You play a bunny and his shadow, each with different
abilities, and gotta get past obstacles by swapping their positions.
Lenwe (-V) (00:59:52): I wonder if smartphones will
ever support flashgaming. I'll have to wait until my computer's back up
to try it :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:00:25): I believe there are ways to
access Kongregate games on mobile, but might just be specific ones.
Lenwe (-V) (01:00:55):
Lenwe (-V) (01:01:05): That's what I get when I try
to follow the link
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:01:49): Yep, specific games then.
Lenwe (-V) (01:02:04): Alas
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:03:33): http://www.kongregate.com/games/tsunamithief/the-great-tsunami-thief
is the second game for the week! Platformer wherein you play a thief,
and need to make your way through houses stealing loot while a tsunami
is trying to catch up with you. Nothing like a bit of
disaster-pillaging, eh?
Lenwe (-V) (01:04:29): Haha, that's awesome. Quite a
unique plot
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:07:22): http://www.onemorelevel.com/game/honey_home
for the third game :) A bee simulation! Get more bees from flowers, try
to avoid dangers, and see if you can make it home with as many bees as
possible!
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:09:16): And now for blizzard gaming!
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:13:41): Heroes of the Storm: Few more
levels, bit more loot. Couple of new hero skins, some quite good, like
a flame dragon Kharazim.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:14:12): This week's brawl was 10
sergeant hammers with special conditions, fun but can be quite tough if
you're not too familiar with that hero :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:14:23): It did get my Hammer to
level 2 though, so an extra loot chest!
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:15:26): Diablo 3: Unfortunately I haven't
had too much time for it. Still somewhere in the 50s. I will need to
make extra time for it if I want to make it before the season ends,
probably postpone a few WoW projects.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:18:14): Hearthstone: Another old brawl this
week, I think it was the one where you get random cards for the class
you choose while the ones in your hand randomly change mana cost each
turn. Need to have a bit of luck with it, but you should choose the
more expensive cards from the starting mulligan and hope you can put
down some cheap heavy cards in the first few turns :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:19:54): Opened all my Gadgetzan
packs, but didn't get the legendary I wanted, just one other. Some
interesting other cards though. I have now started opening all the
classic packs I've gotten from quests and brawls, nearly 90 of them
stocked. It'll be almost exclusively duplicates, but there might be
some good ones I didn't have yet either, like legendaries :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:20:50): Still getting experience on
my heroes, a few are getting in sight of the next level!
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:20:54): WoW:
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:22:17): Not much raidnews, no new
loot, no new bosses from current content. In Northrend I was able to
skin Icehowl, and after that I went to visit Throne of Thunder for the
skin from Horridon, and getting a couple of appearances along the way.
No new pets from there, but that would've been really lucky ;) Good to
know I can solo the place though.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:22:44): I thought Dark Animus would
give me some issues with all the mini golems stacking up to increase
their damage, but as a cat I was able to outrun them and pick them off
with moonfire.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:23:27): But with those skins
gotten, I was able to finish the last skinning quest for leather rank
3. So now I'm done with all that :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:24:17): Also finished another
cooking reagent when it comes to discoveries by Nomi, so now I'm kinda
out of supplies to give him. Which means I need to farm a bit of meat
or fish every day.
Elladan (01:25:09): the struggle is real
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:25:31): To that end I also started
working on the fishing pole artifact, but some of the rare fish are
giving me a bit of trouble. I did visit the lure-seller for the first
time, and started fishing for the mana, which I need buy lures, which
give a better chance to catch rare baits, which are needed for the rare
fish.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:25:41): Randomness in randomness in
randomness. So much fun!
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:26:02): *need to buy lures
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:27:37): This week's weekly quest
was the one I hate the most, winning 10 arena skirmishes. I'm really
really bad at arena. But after playing a ton of matches or so over 2
evenings, I got there. Mostly because of numbers advantage where one
opponent would not show up and we could kill the enemy team with 3-2 or
2-1 players.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:28:33): But hey, it's good honor
and AP, and I could do some browsing while queued... so I went through
it anyway ;)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:29:49): Also a bit of progress with
marks from pvp world quests, now at about 60 of the 80 I need for the
second appearance arsenal. I'll get there, though how long it'll take
to get all the different ones.. I don't know, but it'll be long.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:30:58): And finally, for more
appearances, I cleared all of Mechanar of the missing loot in just 3
days (it's a really short instance compared to most others, with small
loot tables too).
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:31:58): After that I started heroic
Botanica, until I get the epic piece I'm missing, then I'll get the
rest in normal. So far I've gotten a good number of missing pieces
already, and am done with 3 of the 5 bosses. Unfortunately one of the
last 2 is the final boss which has a lot of missing loot for me, and
the epic piece still too :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:32:44): And I think that's all my
news for this week!
Varda Valar (01:33:01): Thank you, Phar :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:51:08): Level 193 in Heroes of the Storm at time of
report, btw, so I guess Hammer was the only level I got :)
Varda Valar (03:33:24): Grats.
Varda Valar (03:34:27): Had also meant to bring up on
raft-elves, what else might they be doing in that camp? Likely to be
hunting, gathering, trading, some forms of crafting. Some might be
there part-time, others living there.
Ar-Pharazon-V (03:34:47): making pies!
Varda Valar (03:34:53): Yay!
Ar-Pharazon-V (03:35:12): other than that, not sure ;)
Ar-Pharazon-V (03:35:27): Probably some
raft-supporting activities, like making rope?
Varda Valar (03:39:20): Rope-making, almost certainly.
Varda Valar (03:39:29): Barrel repair likely
Ar-Pharazon-V (03:40:37): Leak-proofing?
Varda Valar (03:40:54): Aye, sounds reasonable.
Varda Valar (03:42:35): Do people that you raid with
use talk programs? Teamspeak, Ventrilo, Mumble, other?
Ar-Pharazon-V (03:43:11): I think they had a casual
ventrilo room somewhere in the last expansion or so, but I never
bothered much. No official raiding voicechat.
Varda Valar (03:43:38): Thanks
Ar-Pharazon-V (04:19:55): I gotta go, will send
transcript tomorrow.
Ar-Pharazon-V (04:19:58): namarie!
Varda Valar (04:20:04): Namarie!
