Before-meeting
(Times for Ar-Pharazon in the Netherlands. We appreciate how late he stays up to handle this!)

Eonwe Valar (22:26:25):    Heya all :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (22:26:36):    Aiya!
Eonwe Valar (22:35:09):    Anyone experienced any issues with the Games Site, or the pages in general, during the week?
Arien V (22:53:37):    aiya :)
Eonwe Valar (22:53:43):    Heya :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (22:53:53):    Aiya!
Arien V (22:58:02):    nope i havent but i havent tried out yet .. the games site that is
Ar-Pharazon-V (22:58:27):    I'm afraid to say I don't use it that much.
Ar-Pharazon-V (22:59:21):    It's good that it's there, but personally I get most of my relevant news from the actual blogsites and being in Europe it's of limited use to find gaming friends :)
Eonwe Valar (22:59:33):    Well if you have problems accessing any pages on the Site, let me know. I made adjustments that could affect the entire site and I'm trying to make sure I catch out the outlier cases that may not display properly.
Ar-Pharazon-V (22:59:40):    Ah.
Varda Valar (22:59:59):    Aiya
Arien V (23:00:31):    Aiya Varda
Eonwe Valar (23:00:43):    And fair enough on the Games Site Phar. If you have any suggestions on things you'd like to see on the Games Site, they *are* welcome :} I want to make it something worth visiting :}
Varda Valar (23:00:44):    Aiya Arien :)
Eonwe Valar (23:00:48):    Heya Varda :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:00:57):    Aiya!
Varda Valar (23:01:00):    Aiya Eonwe and Phar :)
Varda Valar (23:01:34):    Kinda woozy, but Fangorn makes fantastic scratch chicken soup. ;) Should be ok for the meeting.
Varda Valar (23:02:03):    How's the Games Site coming, and aye, we want it useful in Europe, USA, and anywhere we game. :)
Eonwe Valar (23:02:10):    Tough to commiserate or smile there: you're feeling bad but getting good food, hehe.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:02:12):    hmm, chicken soup
Arien V (23:02:15):    i hope you feel better after eating :)
Eonwe Valar (23:02:40):    I'll go with what Arien said :}
Varda Valar (23:02:41):    Happy to be able to eat again. Yay! Feeling much better.
Varda Valar (23:03:21):    Coming up with ways the Games Site can be helpful in Europe?
Eonwe Valar (23:03:34):    Web News Spoilers: Games Site v9 is up, hehe.
Varda Valar (23:03:37):    Seems like a lot should be generic enough
Varda Valar (23:03:42):    hehe yay!
Varda Valar (23:04:10):    I guess you're leaving LotRO news to the general News page mainly?
Eonwe Valar (23:04:12):    By "going with what Arien said" I meant that her "i hope you feel better after eating" said it best :}
Eonwe Valar (23:04:36):    I would be more than happy to post LotRO news on the Games Site, when I have it to post it.
Varda Valar (23:04:37):    Got it. She is good with expressing. :)
Varda Valar (23:04:51):    I try to post it to the News, if that's any help
Varda Valar (23:05:09):    Stuff like which box run is going, which year on the scavenger quest?
Varda Valar (23:05:39):    Box run/Featured instance changes Mondays, scavenger quest Thursdays
Varda Valar (23:05:56):    Should I email it?
Eonwe Valar (23:06:35):    When I put the news up, I try to draw it from the official site, and I haven't been able to find the announcements on the Anniversary quests, so since I see no news announcements anywhere I would expect them there, it tends to slip my mind.
Eonwe Valar (23:06:53):    E-mail would help, aye.
Varda Valar (23:07:24):    Tends to be on the LotRO Beacon, but may be tough to spot. Agreed, their news could use some work. Helps when they put up stuff on the Laungcher, in my opinion.
Varda Valar (23:07:25):    ok.
Varda Valar (23:07:34):    *Launcher

Ar-Pharazon-V (23:09:27):    Going on vacation on the monday after next meeting! Just a few days, but I will need to leave that meeting early :)
Varda Valar (23:09:31):    Seeing Morwe pop in again now and then, good to see any of the old gang coming in. [and Hamson and Dis!]
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:09:36):    Gotta get up early the next day.
Varda Valar (23:09:51):    Ok, no worries. Surprised you could come at all in that case.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:09:54):    Also, Fladrif seen online today!

top

Varda Valar (23:10:54):    Web:
Varda Valar (23:11:38):    Sorry, nothing new up [for the Tolkien Site]. Intended to do some yesterday but literally couldn't see straight, heh. Hoping to do better this coming week.

Varda Valar (23:12:00):    And of course you know the wizardry that Eonwe is performing with the Games Site.
Varda Valar (23:12:20):    We'd like to make sure it's relevent for you. Let us know what you'd like to see there!
Arien V (23:12:26):    I like the new look
Varda Valar (23:12:50):    Handsome
Eonwe Valar (23:13:21):    Glad to hear it :} I hope everything, from the URLs to the menus, is more accessible and useful now.
Varda Valar (23:13:32):    Easier to use
Varda Valar (23:13:45):    Looks clear-cut
Varda Valar (23:13:58):    If anyone has suggestions, difficulties, please let Eonwe know.
Eonwe Valar (23:14:34):    Some code adjustments I made to get some of this done could affect the Site as a whole, so I've been watching for errors all week.
Eonwe Valar (23:14:57):    If you have a problem accessing something you know should exist, please let me know so I can take care of any outliers.

Varda Valar (23:15:24):    Is it a problem that the Tolkien and Community pages are in such a different scheme from the Games and Forum? The original intention was weathered yellow paper easy to read a lot of text on, and a Tolkienesque look, still needing work.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:15:37):    (semi-busy a bit, gonna try to catch my last 2 rares for fishing artifact)
Varda Valar (23:15:43):    Contact info under Membership and Contacts. :)
Varda Valar (23:15:47):    Good luck!

Varda Valar (23:16:13):    Gaming:
Varda Valar (23:16:18):    Take it away, Eonwe!
Eonwe Valar (23:16:38):    I know there's still at least one bug somewhere in the Games Site, but I can't seem to reproduce it. I've tried to make sure it would fail more gracefully, and hopefully give me more info to work with in tracking it down, but if you do see a problem trying to access something in the Games Site, please e-mail me with what URL you were trying to access, and what problem you got.
Varda Valar (23:16:55):    Ok, any idea which section?
Eonwe Valar (23:17:00):    Nope, hehe.
Varda Valar (23:17:10):    ouchie :)
Eonwe Valar (23:17:11):    Would've had it fixed by now :}
Varda Valar (23:17:20):    Thus the need for more eyes, right.
Varda Valar (23:17:53):    Sauron passing by, says Hi! He's headed out for a Pathfinder game.
Eonwe Valar (23:17:58):    I know the problem, but not the page, so if accessing the Games Site you get an error, or a File Not Found page, let me know.
Varda Valar (23:18:01):    Grats on his new job too.
Eonwe Valar (23:18:04):    Heya to Sauron :}
Varda Valar (23:18:07):    ok
Eonwe Valar (23:18:59):    Other than that, enjoy the updated Games Site, and if there's something you want to see on the Games Site, I'm open to suggestions :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:19:26):    yay, got em :D
Eonwe Valar (23:19:34):    For a list of changes: http://valarguild.org/gaming/archives/games-site-history :}

Varda Valar (23:27:12):    LotRO:

Eonwe Valar (23:27:44):    Aye.
Varda Valar (23:27:58):    The Featured Instance/aka Box Run for this week until Monday is

Varda Valar (23:29:16):    This past Tuesday we had a very welcome update to LotRO correcting the difficulty level for some high level dungeons.
Varda Valar (23:29:52):    They were working on Mordor in the background and accidentally upped the level of the bad guys to something insane, heh. Fixed now, we hope.
Varda Valar (23:30:17):    That's my LotRO news. Any other gaming news?

Ar-Pharazon-V (23:30:19):    Ah, always fun to get mobs at the level for the not-yet-published expansion.
(23:30:24) Elladan left this group chat.
Eonwe Valar (23:30:24):    Sauron asserting his dominance :}
Varda Valar (23:30:36):    Sure looked like it!
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:30:41):    I remember when they put in high level mobs in Deadwind Pass before Burning Crusade was out.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:30:57):    Sure, the materials they dropped were good, but it was a challenge to fight them ;)
Eonwe Valar (23:32:09):    hehe
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:32:44):    Gosh, that must've been... 11 years ago?
Eonwe Valar (23:32:56):    Roundabouts.
Arien V (23:33:52):    meh i am getting old .. and a wowosaurus Valarex
Varda Valar (23:34:22):    Just leveling up. :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:34:23):    It was a third of my life ago...
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:34:29):    A third!

Arien V (23:35:11):    Really have you got no life, Phar :)?

Varda Valar (23:35:21):    Got the report on who showed in the LotRO kin this past week. Special note that Hamson, Dis, and Morwe were on.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:35:22):    Not really, no, but I like it that way :)
Arien V (23:35:23):    ;)

Varda Valar (23:35:38):    We can game and have a real life too. :)
Varda Valar (23:35:46):    Takes some management is all.
Arien V (23:35:48):    Indeed *cough*
Varda Valar (23:36:01):    Sometimes a lot of management.
Varda Valar (23:36:34):    StarCraft 2: Fangorn, Eowyn, and Faramir. :)
Varda Valar (23:36:49):    StarCraft/BroodWar: Fangorn and Varda
Varda Valar (23:37:45):    Also cut thumb, taped for stitches, glad not a major typing finger, but slows down a little.
Varda Valar (23:38:09):    So pardon the slow typing today
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:38:26):    ouch
Varda Valar (23:38:39):    Real life sneaks in, heh
Varda Valar (23:38:50):    Any other folks seen? Helm? Aragorn?
Eonwe Valar (23:39:15):    Bofur and Arien in WoW Lothar.
Varda Valar (23:39:19):    Nice :)
Arien V (23:39:20):    Helm logging in and out .. he is fairly busy
Varda Valar (23:39:35):    Good that he could pop in.
Arien V (23:39:42):    aye :)
Varda Valar (23:39:42):    Any sign of Glorfindel?
Eonwe Valar (23:40:02):    Nay.
Varda Valar (23:40:15):    okies
Varda Valar (23:40:28):    Bregalad just came online in LotRO. Hi!
Eonwe Valar (23:40:32):    Haven't seen him since before Legion started.
Varda Valar (23:40:47):    Hope he's ok.
Arien V (23:41:02):    hi Bregalad :)
Varda Valar (23:41:39):    Passed the hi along. :)
Varda Valar (23:41:51):    Any other business, suggestions?
top

Tolkien:
Varda Valar (23:42:22):    Does anyone have a Tolkien chat suggestion, or would like to pull up a Moment?
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:42:23):    Just like to mention that I've read through Giles of Ham a bit, fun story :)
Varda Valar (23:42:31):    Oh good!
Eonwe Valar (23:42:39):    Geen a while since I read that.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:42:40):    Not in great detail yet though, just a few sections to leaf through, so I'm not suggesting it for a topic as such.
Eonwe Valar (23:42:43):    Been even
Varda Valar (23:42:45):    Now you know who Chrysopholax is
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:42:48):    I do!
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:43:37):    Sure seems a bit different from the likes of Glaurung and Smaug :)
Varda Valar (23:44:21):    Different story style
Varda Valar (23:44:24):    [Kinship] Bregaladdyboy: aiya meeting group
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:44:35):    Aiya Bregalad!
Varda Valar (23:44:38):    [Kinship] Bregaladdyboy: just finished re-queening a beehive... sitting in front of a fan cooling off
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:44:56):    Hmm. Beekeeper suits always seem so very warm.
Varda Valar (23:45:03):    Tolkien:
Varda Valar (23:45:09):    Dragons!
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:45:12):    Hah!
Varda Valar (23:45:39):    Tolkien gives us dragons of several sorts, might even include drakes. Fell-beasts are a question.
Varda Valar (23:46:00):    Probably not dragons, but maybe a little dragon genetics mixed in for size?
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:46:15):    Sure, Morgoth and Sauron were good at that sort of thing.
Varda Valar (23:46:50):    Morgoth wanted this or that, but could not create life.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:46:52):    As was Saruman, for that matter.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:47:07):    He could change and corrupt and enhance though.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:47:15):    Take a dragon, stick some wings on it.
Varda Valar (23:47:36):    Sauron figured out breeding, changing one form into another by torment (surgery?) and sorcery perhaps, and certainly breeding.
Varda Valar (23:47:51):    Aye, Saruman did some of that too, making Uruk-hai
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:48:14):    Take a beast, put wings on it, breed it, suddenly generations of felbeasts. If only genetics was that simple.
Varda Valar (23:48:16):    Sauron worked up trolls that could handle the light, not turn to stone
Varda Valar (23:48:51):    They may have had some of Ancalagon's young to work with, cross with other creatures?
Varda Valar (23:49:12):    The minions of Morgoth lost the power of flight.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:49:27):    *cue Balrog discussion*
Varda Valar (23:49:29):    But they could well have had vesitigial wings, or non-working types,
Varda Valar (23:49:31):    heh
Varda Valar (23:49:47):    Could have crossed some of those with normal creatures to bring back flight?
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:49:58):    Sure. Or bred them back up to strength.
Varda Valar (23:50:47):    If they were forced into non-flight by being minions of Morgoth, maybe not. Could explain why the flying creatures seemed to be only beasts, like the fell-beasts.
Varda Valar (23:51:12):    Manwe and Varda and their folk that could fly retained it
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:51:21):    Smaug and other dragons retained it.
Varda Valar (23:51:23):    No walking eagles
Varda Valar (23:52:25):    Dragons that lost their flight or the majority that never had it might have become lesser over time, giving us drakes. Or the fire and cold drakes were earlier attempts?
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:52:49):    We know the earlier dragons couldn't fly.
Varda Valar (23:53:02):    Right
Arien V (23:53:10):    uhm .. maybe .. hmmm raptor like beasts that were crossed with dragons?
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:53:10):    I'd guess they might have found Gondolin a bit earlier if they did...
Varda Valar (23:53:22):    The very earliest dragon concept by JRRT was mechanical. Later he had them be organic.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:53:37):    Oh yes, I remember the mechanical dragons. Seemed a bit sci-fi though :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:53:42):    Steampunk, maybe.
Varda Valar (23:53:51):    It's a good question. Some remnant of the ancient life
Varda Valar (23:54:19):    Right. The mechanical dragons carried lots of orcs inside with balrogs riding outside.
Eonwe Valar (23:54:22):    "magitech"
Eonwe Valar (23:54:26):    maybe
Varda Valar (23:54:26):    They attacke Gondolin
Varda Valar (23:54:31):    heh, could be.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:54:40):    Sounds about right :)
Arien V (23:54:56):    Tolkiensque troyan horse :)
Varda Valar (23:55:01):    That was during the idea of having lots of balrogs, apparently not so strong as the later idea of seven only.
Varda Valar (23:55:14):    Aye. :)
Varda Valar (23:56:10):    At one time, Glaurung was form of Sauron. Later he was a dragon, still of great power with Voice.
Varda Valar (23:56:49):    The idea of Voice is found here and there in the stories. I suspect Morgoth had it and passed it on to some of his minions, such as Sauron, Glaurung?
Varda Valar (23:57:18):    Smaug may have had a little?
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:57:47):    So where'd Saruman get it?
Varda Valar (23:58:31):    That's a good question. Was it something carrying over from being a Maia? Perhaps Sauron had his own from also being a Maia?
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:58:51):    Weren't they both originally Maia of Aule?
Varda Valar (23:58:58):    Or did Sauron pass it on to Saruman as part of the package for joining?
Varda Valar (23:59:05):    Sauron and Saruman, aye.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:59:07):    Maybe they had to have good voices to get over all his smithying ;)
Eonwe Valar (23:59:21):    Saruman was convincing before he joined Sauron.
Varda Valar (23:59:28):    JRRT was not fond of industrial stuff, shows that way.
Varda Valar (23:59:32):    heh
Varda Valar (23:59:43):    What Eonwe said.
Monday, June 12, 2017
Varda Valar (00:00:33):    So we see evil mechanical dragons, evil industry around Orthanc, evil black powder blasting Helm's Deep's wall
Varda Valar (00:00:59):    Evil industry tearing up the Shire, or cutting down Fangorn Forest
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:01:18):    Grond, the big battering ram, was a fine example of dark engineering as well.
Varda Valar (00:01:19):    That might be why the bad Maiar tended to be from Aule
Varda Valar (00:01:24):    True
Eonwe Valar (00:01:51):    And yet we also se amazing architectural marvels on the side of good as well, like Orthanc, Minas Tirith. Amon Hen and Amon Lhaw.
Eonwe Valar (00:01:55):    *also see
Varda Valar (00:01:55):    Or what was it, ballistas or catapults, used to throw heads into Gondor.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:02:09):    Trebuchets in the movie. Not sure about the book.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:02:26):    No, wait. Minas Tirith had the trebuchets...
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:02:28):    Eh, I forgot.
Varda Valar (00:02:39):    True. The great buildings seemed ok with JRRT. Maybe due to a love of the universities and libraries?
Varda Valar (00:02:59):    Main thing is the idea.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:03:22):    Rivendell was like that too.
Varda Valar (00:03:27):    True.
Varda Valar (00:03:58):    A peaceful home-like atmosphere for scholars
Eonwe Valar (00:04:30):    I think a good description is when Fangorn is talking to Merry and Pippin. What made him really mad was that Saruman wasn't even going through the pretense of using the trees he was chopping down any more.
Varda Valar (00:05:00):    Aye. That's showing the exact border. Well put.
Eonwe Valar (00:05:13):    He just left them lying there. He was being small and mean.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:05:31):    And a bit odd, considering he really needed the firewood.
Varda Valar (00:05:32):    About time to let Eonwe go to work. Our herald has to lead out the forces of Manwe.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:05:40):    Ah, good luck?
Varda Valar (00:05:56):    Orcs may be sloppier than Saruman, but he allowed it.
Eonwe Valar (00:06:06):    Aye, the wood could've been put to use, like I don't know, building a bulwark to slow down an army of invading ents? Lol.
Varda Valar (00:06:23):    Aye!
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:06:32):    Devious. Using timber to stop ents.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:06:41):    It's like stopping humans with a wall of flesh.
Varda Valar (00:06:49):    He must really not have expected them to come. Wouldn't have in any good time without a pair of hobbits.
Varda Valar (00:07:12):    eww. and it was done, rather like sandbags. I'm sure JRRT saw such things in the Great War.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:07:34):    I suppose they can make good shields if you're under fire?
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:08:19):    Depending on the projectile... but this does seem to be a rather inappropriate tangent.
Eonwe Valar (00:09:53):    Not a happy one certainly.
Varda Valar (00:10:28):    Not intending to go into that, pardon
Eonwe Valar (00:10:57):    But aye, I'm sure Tolkien saw some horrendous things in WWI.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:11:30):    War. War never changes.
Varda Valar (00:12:16):    That's one of the things that makes the LotR and H timeless
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:12:34):    Very true.
Varda Valar (00:12:39):    Many things about human behavior remain the same. Including nobiility, courage under great stress
Varda Valar (00:12:49):    Fighting for your felllows selflessly
Eonwe Valar (00:13:13):    Aye.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:13:47):    I hope never to see it.
Varda Valar (00:13:58):    Where there is great evil, great good rises up against it.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:14:01):    As respectless as that might sound.
Varda Valar (00:14:01):    May you not.
Varda Valar (00:14:12):    No one wants to be in it.
Varda Valar (00:14:25):    We do what we have to, and may you never have to.
Eonwe Valar (00:14:25):    "So do all who live to see such times..." as Gandalf once said.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:14:31):    So true.
Varda Valar (00:14:36):    Thanks, that's the quote I was looking for. :)

Varda Valar (00:15:03):    *picks up a hammer from the conveyor belt*
Varda Valar (00:15:41):    *it blows a trumpet note as it strikes the hammerpad, causing a ringing all the way to the far mountains by the Teleri*
Varda Valar (00:15:55):    *it marches back to the shelf*
top

Varda Valar (00:15:59):    After-meeting!
Varda Valar (00:16:02):    Free chat. :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:16:09):    *cave collapses on top of me*
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:16:18):    Honestly..
Varda Valar (00:16:29):    *you are unhurt by the power of the prison itself*
Varda Valar (00:16:37):    *the cave reforms*
Varda Valar (00:16:41):    *polished*
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:16:51):    *nods* that's better
Varda Valar (00:16:52):    It was getting messy in there. All those humans.
Eonwe Valar (00:17:35):    Well i fyou wanted it to be clean and comfortable, you would've trapped Hobbits in there instead :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:18:08):    hehe
Arien V (00:19:53):    *shines in with soft golden light into the cave*
Varda Valar (00:20:12):    *reflectiions in a gilded cave*
Eonwe Valar (00:20:29):    It's harder to get Hobbits to build ships and sail west though, hehe. The three we convinced had to book passage on someone else's ship.
Arien V (00:20:54):    happened to be an Elven one :)
Varda Valar (00:21:09):    Most aren't much for anything past rowboats. :)
Eonwe Valar (00:21:12):    And then somehowwe got a Dwarf in the deal. I still don't know who negotiated that :}
Varda Valar (00:21:39):    Wanting to see Galadriel again probably cinched it. :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:21:55):    I can imagine a race that doesn't even like to swim, having trouble making large ships for a sea voyage.
Eonwe Valar (00:22:42):    Ok, I should call it there :} Take care all, good night, sleep well, and have fun :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:22:55):    namarie!
Arien V (00:23:03):    Take care and have a good shift! Namarie!
Varda Valar (00:23:09):    Namarie!
Arien V (01:16:10):    Namarie all :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:16:13):    Namarie!
Varda Valar (01:16:18):    Namarie!

Ar-Pharazon-V (01:16:35):    Trying to find some flashgames for my report, but some of them don't appear to be working well right now, or maybe the browser's to blame..
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:18:15):    Ah well, I'll throw in an older one as well, no guarantee I've not linked it before, but still.
Varda Valar (01:18:38):    some might show up on the News archives
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:18:56):    Would I need to search per month or something?
Varda Valar (01:19:24):    More recently they are on the general news by year, but only recently
Varda Valar (01:19:38):    Before they were just in meetings, too hard to search for what you're doing
Varda Valar (01:19:42):    Repeats don't hurt. :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:27:16):    Right, gaming report!

Ar-Pharazon-V (01:28:21):    Flashgaming: http://www.onemorelevel.com/game/particolo is the first. Seems the same as something I've played before, but maybe the same mechanic or different levels :) Choose a color, click on a group of particles of a color to change it, and try to get the entire board the same color with limited moves. Mostly simple enough, but some can be tricky.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:31:04):    http://www.kongregate.com/games/Awoke/diepix-arena-2 is the second game, an upgrade game where you're a tiny tank or turret or whatever, shooting incoming waves for xp and using those to upgrade yourself as you go. With enough skill and the right upgrades, not too bad, and several options of difficulty as well. Might have linked it in the past, because I'd already cleared it when it was the badge for a day in the past week, but here you go anyway!
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:32:31):    http://www.kongregate.com/games/Edmund/aether is the third, and I think I've not linked it before :) You play a boy mounted on a monster with a big tongue, with which you grapple along clouds and asteroids to reach different planets and finishing the puzzles and assignments on them. Good, funny art, too :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:34:03):    And nice music.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:34:14):    Now I'll wait a bit with blizzard gaming until I'm done in Heroes of the Storm :)
Varda Valar (01:38:18):    Nice music always a plus.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:44:34):    Definitely :)

Ar-Pharazon-V (02:00:19):    I can start on blizzard gaming as I go, even though typing will be slow ;)
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:13:43):    Heroes of the Storm: Level 198 now. Few new skins, very nice.
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:14:28):    We've been working on Cho'gall a bit this week, the 2-player hero, which requires a friend, and is therefore quite slow to level up, even though it still comes with portraits at level 15.
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:15:03):    Got Gall to 5, so that's a nice milestone. Difficult, though, because we both need to have quests that allow for it :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:15:57):    Brawl this week is the punisher arena, with a choice of 3 random heroes constantly brawling with each other and each other's Punisher, in order to stack points. Need 2 rounds won to win the game.
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:16:05):    Not really one of my favorites, but it can be quick.
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:16:56):    Diablo 3: Got my season crusader to 70, and finished chapters 2 and 3 of the season. Chapter 4's going to be tough, though. I've only got a week or so to get through it, since the season ends at the end of my vacation.
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:17:08):    So that's going to be a priority for this week.
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:17:50):    Hearthstone: This week's brawl was a hallucination brawl, where you get a lot of your opponent's class cards randomly. Some luck and improvisation needed :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:19:06):    Got my first class to level 49, the warrior. Most classes are close to leveling, but one or two are still annoyingly behind. I hope I get quests for them soon.
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:19:52):    Looking at current quests, they all involve warrior...
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:20:38):    Been opening more classic packs, bunch of new ones I didn't know I was missing, including the long-awaited second Storm for shaman ;) Also a new fancy legendary, Ysera.
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:22:50):    WoW:
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:31:04):    Not much raiding news, other than that we're currently in our last week in the Nighthold; we've got a raidbreak coming up for a week and then Tomb of Sargeras launches (right when I'm on vacation).
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:32:07):    A couple more pet master world quests, and a few marks (though it's been slow again this week). This week's weekly quest is, indeed, 20 world quests, so got those rather casually.
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:33:22):    Few more recipes complete from Nomi. Done with silver mackerels, and one recipe for gamy ribs, though that one has another to get as well, so I'm not farming em for nothing ;)
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:35:03):    Ah yes, I think it was this week.. I got my last toy reward from the withered training scenario, so I can stop doing that. Bit of a relief, the last one took quite a long time to get.
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:35:39):    Bit of Suramar questing done, finishing the Moonguard arc and started on Tel'anor. Still slow going.
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:36:50):    And I finished catching all the rare fish from Legion earlier this meeting! The next step will be fishing up a pearl from any random pool in the Broken Isles, then a short questline and scenario, and then I'll have my artifact fishing pole.
Varda Valar (02:54:18):    yay fishing poles :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (03:24:07):    But there's no rush for that. The point of all this was so that when the time comes to switch to mass-fishing to get more recipes from Nomi, I'd be able to make use of any rare fish I got to upgrade the artifact, rather than needing specific ones, and I figure that when I start that, the pearl will come automatically :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (03:24:15):    So it'll be a while still before I continue that.
Ar-Pharazon-V (03:25:06):    Let's see, Artifact Knowledge maxed out, need 2 more traits before Concordance on my feral artifact, with 2 more needed on my guardian artifact...
Ar-Pharazon-V (03:25:13):    Finally, appearances.
Ar-Pharazon-V (03:25:41):    Finished heroic and normal Botanica, and started heroic Arcatraz.
Ar-Pharazon-V (03:26:36):    I've only got 2 more 5-man instances left in the Burning Crusade expansion, Arcatraz and Black Morass, and since both are also in the Timewalking rotation, I've already got a head start when it comes to appearances. So I only need 3 more in Arcatraz. I hope I can get it during next week :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (03:26:54):    After those 2 are done, I'll start going through the raids, that should be interesting.
Ar-Pharazon-V (03:27:33):    And that's my report for the week!
Varda Valar (03:27:45):    Thanks, Phar
Varda Valar (04:13:12):    Namarie
Ar-Pharazon-V (04:13:20):    namarie!
Ar-Pharazon-V (04:13:48):    Gonna keep the transcript for tomorrow again. I'm liking that arrangement, though obviously it won't work out next week. But it means I don't have to hurry with it before bed :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (04:14:12):    So namarie folks!
