Before-meeting
Ar-Pharazon-V (18:50:21): Aiya
Ar-Pharazon-V (18:50:37): If I manage to send a
transcript it'll probably start here.
VardaValar1 (18:51:50): Your last transcript worked
out very well
VardaValar1 (18:51:55): Okie dokie
Ar-Pharazon-V (18:52:19): Yes but this is the first
one in 8, since the new 7 won't work anymore.
VardaValar1 (18:52:35): ahh, ok. The experiment
begins!
Ar-Pharazon-V (18:52:48): The only thing I can think
of is manually copying over parts of the chatlog or something.
VardaValar1 (18:53:24): It still makes a copy of the
chat for both AIM and your computer, if you want.
VardaValar1 (18:53:35): I still have timestamps.
Never could find a way to remove them.
Ar-Pharazon-V (18:53:40): Yes, it does. But that
contains everything in a html format.
Ar-Pharazon-V (18:53:49): So it won't work as is.
Ar-Pharazon-V (18:54:08): And the new one probably
will have timestamps too, but my timestamps.
VardaValar1 (18:54:28): We shall muddle through. :)
VardaValar1 (18:55:10): The transcript always looked
different after the mail/download/pull up treatment that what was sent.
VardaValar1 (18:55:13): We'll find out.
Ar-Pharazon-V (18:55:51): Yes but in this case I'd
literally have to compile the thing manually.
Ar-Pharazon-V (18:56:06): Though I may be able to
just delete sections out of the text-version of the html.
VardaValar1 (18:57:07): If it turns out I need to do
the whole thing, I will. We will manage one way or another. Always need
someone for backup for when I can't be there or the computer goes down
for one reason or another.
Ar-Pharazon-V (18:57:17): Very true.
VardaValar1 (18:57:39): You're the only other one
consistently here, perfect. :)
VardaValar1 (18:57:52): Better than I am
Ar-Pharazon-V (18:58:12): It's going to take a lot
more work from me too, will be interesting.
VardaValar1 (18:59:11): I hope it won't be a lot of
work. If it is, maybe just do it when I'm absent or crash partway?
Ar-Pharazon-V (18:59:33): Maybe. But I'd hate to
leave gaps in my own records :P
VardaValar1 (18:59:48): There's that. :)
VardaValar1 (20:46:32): Bregalad is back in LotRO. :)
Eonwe Valar (21:31:02): Heya all. Happy Easter. I
have to run out for a bit, hope to be back in time for the meeting, but
not sure. I'll be leaving AIM up here, though.
Ar-Pharazon-V (21:31:10): Happy easter!
Arien V (22:27:37): Happy Easter all :)#
Ar-Pharazon-V (22:27:47): Aiya :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (22:27:54): and happy easter!
Arien V (22:28:00): Aiya :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (22:52:06): Posted in the RP.
Arien V (22:52:22): oki :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (22:53:29): Couple of grammatical edits
because of replaced phrasings, too ;)
Arien V (22:54:57): nice post :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (22:56:28): Thanks :) Your post made it
seem like a long time passed, but it must've been less than a month now
that I think about it. Oh well, still time for a couple of camp-outs ;)
VardaValar1 (23:00:03): back
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:00:08): Aiyata
VardaValar1 (23:00:16): nice, checking out rp posts
VardaValar1 (23:03:33): Good post, Phar :)
VardaValar1 (23:04:23): And it's hat time. Looking

Elladan (23:14:50): Aiya!
VardaValar1 (23:15:01): Aiya! It worked :)
VardaValar1 (23:15:32): Seems as if we have less
trouble inviting in this version.
VardaValar1 (23:15:43): Not so much stream crossing,
so to speak.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:15:52): Aiya!

VardaValar1 (23:17:55): I should be working on making
more new content. Hoping to do so after moving into this new room with
a far better connection, making it more pleasant to do so. :)
VardaValar1 (23:18:16): Also, check out the forum for
the new post by Phar in the story. :)

VardaValar1 (23:18:23): Gaming:
VardaValar1 (23:18:33): Eonwe put up what he could
for the Gaming Site.
VardaValar1 (23:18:58): Blizzard's server was down
during the time that Eonwe could put up the news, but he put up some
anyway.
VardaValar1 (23:19:13): Most important, he wished
everyone a Happy Easter. :)
VardaValar1 (23:19:30): He also put up some LotRO news:
VardaValar1 (23:19:45): LotRO's 10th Anniversary is
this year! See what they're doing to commemorate the event in this
announcement!
VardaValar1 (23:20:38): Some interesting things in
the post. Defniitely have to check out the fireworks.- maybe they'll
have some we can use for the guild's 20th anniversary in October.
VardaValar1 (23:20:47): 10th and 20th. Nifty. :)
Arien V (23:21:18): :D
VardaValar1 (23:21:46): Also in LotRO, this is the
last day of extra experience weekend, a good time to bring in our
under-105 characters.
Elladan (23:22:07): d'oh!
VardaValar1 (23:22:08): at least, for VIP's.
Elladan (23:22:13): didn't know it was this weekend
VardaValar1 (23:22:20): Aye, for Easter. :)
Elladan (23:22:30): gah
VardaValar1 (23:22:56): Bregalad is back in LotRO as
of today. For Lent, he gave up coffee and computer gaming. *gasp* Some
serious fasting, there.
VardaValar1 (23:23:16): Anyway, he, Fangorn, and I
were gaming earlier, so we heard first hand. :)
Arien V (23:23:53): nice one :)
VardaValar1 (23:24:10): The LotRO anniversary doesn't
start until the 20th, in case the above was confusing.
VardaValar1 (23:24:36): Celebration lasts until May
9. Has three new quests just for it. :)
VardaValar1 (23:24:46): Any other general gaming news?
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:25:01): You said he did have some
for blizzard news?
VardaValar1 (23:25:32): No, the Blizzard site was not
up while Eonwe was able to work on the Games Site.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:25:40): Heh.
VardaValar1 (23:25:48): But you and Arien might have
some. :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:26:04): I'll make a quick round of
the EU blogs.
VardaValar1 (23:26:20): Meanwhile,
VardaValar1 (23:26:30): I have this last week's list

Varda
VardaValar1 (23:26:59): Also chatted with Nob and
Tulkas in non-kinned characters. :)
VardaValar1 (23:27:26): They are both in the overall
guild, just those happened to be non-kinned characters.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:27:50): For Hearthstone, vote on US champion

Arien V (23:28:29): :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:28:30): For Starcraft II, this was announced a

Ar-Pharazon-V (23:30:26): And that should do it for
general news :)
VardaValar1 (23:30:36): Thanks! Much appreciated.
WoW:
Arien V (23:31:05): Oh well I returned to US server Lothar as a WoW back up
and quickies before work ^^
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:31:17): Oh, and WoW Noblegarden
starts tomorrow as well, with a new rabbit pet I believe.
Arien V (23:31:32): met a certain Auros a few times
there :)
VardaValar1 (23:31:40): Very good!
VardaValar1 (23:31:50): You were in WoW Lothar?
Arien V (23:31:56): yep
Arien V (23:32:22): got it still active (again)
VardaValar1 (23:32:23): I'll bet he really
appreciated that. His time zone is out of sync with fellow Americans.
VardaValar1 (23:32:44): Maybe you'll bump into Nob
and Bofur sometime. :)
Arien V (23:32:48): he does aye :)
VardaValar1 (23:33:23): Any further business,
suggestions, comments, etc?

VardaValar1 (23:33:53): Tolkien!
VardaValar1 (23:34:17): Number one: yay for the new
round of posting after the long, dry spell.
VardaValar1 (23:34:35): That should give Auros a
chance to pitch in, now that we made it through.
VardaValar1 (23:34:41): Put us back in sync.
VardaValar1 (23:34:59): Two possible Tolkien short
topics. Let's see how we do.
Arien V (23:35:20): He said he has an idea for a post
but probably just didnt have the time to get it to .. ooohm .. screen?
VardaValar1 (23:35:26): 1. What
brings joy to the various races in Middle-earth.
VardaValar1 (23:35:45): Good to hear. Maybe later in
the week then!
VardaValar1 (23:35:51): Races:
VardaValar1 (23:35:54): Orc:
VardaValar1 (23:36:04): Suggestions? :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:36:19): Fresh meat!
Elladan (23:36:19): hobbit flesh
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:36:33): We had the same thought ;)
VardaValar1 (23:36:36): Agreed, meat, rather than
just maggoty bread.
Elladan (23:36:37): ;)
VardaValar1 (23:36:52): And banditry on their own
time where they get to keep the spoils.
VardaValar1 (23:37:09): How about for Giant spiders, such as in Mirkwood,
Shelob?
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:37:12): Phat lewt.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:37:13): Hmm...
VardaValar1 (23:37:16): Aye :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:37:25): Also meat, really.
VardaValar1 (23:37:26): Orc happiness and phat lewt.
VardaValar1 (23:37:43): Blood, to be picky, but aye,
similar way of collecting.
VardaValar1 (23:37:59): They like it very very fresh.
As in a cocoon, still alive.
VardaValar1 (23:38:04): That would also be for their
young.
VardaValar1 (23:38:56): That batch of dwarves must
have been a wonderful, surprise feast. The elves would be too wary, so
they had to wait for animals to slip up.
Arien V (23:39:07): hmm smithing and fighting i guess
, brawling rather
VardaValar1 (23:39:15): How about Ringwraiths, not exactly a race, but
hey.
Elladan (23:39:41): lol anything evil, serving
Sauron, taking souls, yaknow.... the usual grind lol
VardaValar1 (23:39:43): Ah, you were referrring to
dwarves, I think?
VardaValar1 (23:39:51): heh, usual grind.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:40:02): hunting rings?
Elladan (23:40:07): I gotta go afk a few
Elladan (23:40:13): /lurkmode on
VardaValar1 (23:40:18): A chance to be near their own
rings that Sauron kept, I think. And to be near the One, aye.
VardaValar1 (23:40:28): ok, thanks for playing!
VardaValar1 (23:40:41): Dwarves:
Arien V (23:40:43): work revenge on behalf of sauron?
VardaValar1 (23:41:00): That too for Ringwraiths, aye.
VardaValar1 (23:41:18): Dwarves:
Elladan (23:41:26): drinking!
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:41:34): "quaffing"
VardaValar1 (23:41:38): :)
Arien V (23:41:45): Dwarves .. right , ale .. food ..
song ,party , making mail and weapons ..making music :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:41:54): brawling, music, yes
VardaValar1 (23:41:57): Nice
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:41:59): diggy diggy hole?
VardaValar1 (23:42:08): hahahaha
VardaValar1 (23:42:14): Hadn't heard that in a while.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:42:42): Well they do like to mine
stuff :)
VardaValar1 (23:43:02): Dwarves seemed to like music
so much that they lugged around harps and other instruments even on a
mission. Had them at Bilbo's, didn't here that they left them there
either.
VardaValar1 (23:43:08): Mithril!
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:43:22): Mithril, gold, iron..
VardaValar1 (23:43:23): Iron was more importatnt to
them than gold.
VardaValar1 (23:43:26): Aye.
VardaValar1 (23:43:45): How about the Hobbits?
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:44:08): Eating, farming, throwing
parties, receiving and giving gifts.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:44:18): More diggy diggy hole.
VardaValar1 (23:44:18): Pipe-smoking too
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:44:23): That too!
VardaValar1 (23:44:23): hehe
VardaValar1 (23:44:49): They went to a lot of trouble
to make nice homes.
Dwarves
Arien V (23:45:00): ore , gems, rocks
Arien V (23:45:06): mountains
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:45:15): Yes, gems made dwarves
happy.
VardaValar1 (23:45:17): A hobbit hole means comfort.
:)
VardaValar1 (23:45:40): Aye, gems. We left that out
earlier. Not sure if they cared that much about them, but they would be
great for trade.
VardaValar1 (23:46:04): Special gems sure did. The
Arkenstone, heart of the mountain of home.
Arien V (23:46:17): Gimli was impressed by Aglarrond
after all
VardaValar1 (23:46:24): Good point.
VardaValar1 (23:46:58): Beautiful caverns that seemed
to be a work of art to be chipped at very carefully, like a gem stone.
VardaValar1 (23:47:18): He even became the Lord of
Aglarond, the Glittering Caves.
VardaValar1 (23:47:45): What made elves happy?
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:48:02): Trees!
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:48:07): Stars.
VardaValar1 (23:48:13): They were merrier in the
books than in the movies.
VardaValar1 (23:48:16): True
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:48:18): Song and tale.
VardaValar1 (23:48:32): Beauty of all sorts.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:48:45): Yes.
VardaValar1 (23:48:56): A bit mischievous, including
with their songs sometimes.
VardaValar1 (23:49:49): But beauty was in their
original make-up, something they loved.
VardaValar1 (23:50:07): How about humans? What made them happy (in
Middle-earth)?
Arien V (23:50:38): building .. working with their
hands in general , family
Arien V (23:50:52): dancing and music as well being
social
VardaValar1 (23:51:43): Tales
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:52:07): Glory and honor worked for
some.
VardaValar1 (23:52:20): Boats for a lot of Numenoreans
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:52:26): Power for some.
VardaValar1 (23:52:46): A pile of money for some.
Arien V (23:52:50): *doesnt look at Ar Pharazon in
particular alas*#
VardaValar1 (23:53:02): *tum te tum*
VardaValar1 (23:53:08): He's reforming now. :)
VardaValar1 (23:53:31): Bringing honor back to the
name. :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:53:49): I can't deny it:
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:53:53): Pharazon liked boats.
VardaValar1 (23:54:04): We might even let him out his
hole when the new Arda is made.
VardaValar1 (23:54:46): Pharazon took Sauron out of
Middle-earth, rescuing many from his tyranny there.
VardaValar1 (23:54:52): Backfired, but still...
VardaValar1 (23:55:33): How about the Woses? Like Ghan-buri-ghan?
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:55:55): Being left alone made them
happy.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:56:19): Living in peace with nature.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:56:21): Drums?
VardaValar1 (23:56:24): Aye. Humans tended to kill
them when found by surprise. Imagine they thought they were evil.
VardaValar1 (23:57:01): Good point. The drums were
for messaging, but likely in their own homes used for celebration,
dancing, music as well.
VardaValar1 (23:57:21): They wanted to live
peacefully in their forest, aye.
VardaValar1 (23:57:40): Any other groups, races you'd
like to bring up?
VardaValar1 (23:57:51): Wargs?
Arien V (23:58:34): making snarly noises .. tear up
other creatures .. demonstrate power and strength?
VardaValar1 (23:58:51): Aye
VardaValar1 (23:59:03): Meat, of course.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:59:18): Squeaky toys?
VardaValar1 (23:59:24): They were intelligent, could
talk. Got along well with the orcs, even letting them ride.
VardaValar1 (23:59:35): Hobbits are squeaky toys,
right?
VardaValar1 (23:59:54): Wargs may have enjoyed group
howls.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:59:59): If you squeeze them hard
enough?
Monday, April 17, 2017
Elladan (00:00:08): Elladan's food of choice tonight?
Beer battered fish fillets, baked potato with butter and sour cream,
and asparagus
VardaValar1 (00:00:23): Hunting, with other wargs and
with their buddy orcs that had handy ranged weapons and could cook.
VardaValar1 (00:00:36): Sounds great, Elladan!
Arien V (00:00:56): yummy .. but i hightly doubt it
would make wargs happy :) hobbits likely :D
Elladan (00:01:07): it's making me happy
VardaValar1 (00:01:09): We had barbecued steak,
deviled eggs, corn on the cob, and other odds and ends like carrots,
cauliflower, broccoli.
VardaValar1 (00:01:14): yay food!
Arien V (00:01:21): very good :)
VardaValar1 (00:01:40): Must wonder. I know coyotes
really enjoy watermelons found in the field.
Arien V (00:01:45): we had .. turkey escalopes and
chips .. and mayonnaise ^^
VardaValar1 (00:01:51): And dogs eat all manner of
people-food.
VardaValar1 (00:02:04): What's an escalope?
VardaValar1 (00:02:10): (It was a special day.)
Elladan (00:02:13): was just going to ask
Elladan (00:02:24): it's escarole for antelope
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:02:26): We had fries and fried meat
from the airfryer!
VardaValar1 (00:02:41): A healthy fry! Nifty
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:03:00): Usually we'd do some
gourmet or barbecue stuff but the weather wasn't all that good, and my
brother's away for a few days, so we'll celebrate "Easter" in a few
weeks or so.
Arien V (00:04:07): its a piece of meet
Arien V (00:04:10): meat
Arien V (00:04:44): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Escalope
:)
Elladan (00:04:50): aha
Elladan (00:04:57): like a cutlet fried
VardaValar1 (00:05:33): Almost a fried breaded meat
chip, but bigger. Intriguing
Arien V (00:05:34): aye
Arien V (00:05:46): tastes nice :)
VardaValar1 (00:05:48): Thin
VardaValar1 (00:06:03): Something new for us to
attempt cooking! Cool
Eonwe Valar (00:06:04): OK, I'm back, for a little
while at least.
VardaValar1 (00:06:09): Eonwe!
VardaValar1 (00:06:19): Just about to call it for the
night. But now... :)
Arien V (00:06:20): Aiyata :)
VardaValar1 (00:06:26): Welcome back!
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:06:27): Aiyata!
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:06:43): Well, there's still trolls,
mountain giants, ents, gollums...
VardaValar1 (00:07:26): Nice list!
VardaValar1 (00:07:33): What makes trolls happy?
VardaValar1 (00:08:05): We can include Bert, Tom, and
William
VardaValar1 (00:08:16): cave trolls, mountain trolls
VardaValar1 (00:08:35): Guess those three were bridge
trolls.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:08:46): Trolls liked a nice fire,
and hoarding stuff in their cave, and meat when they could get it.
Arien V (00:09:03): big cudgels as well
VardaValar1 (00:09:22): True. They had a big hoard.
Didn't seem inclined to go sell or trade it off . Dragon-like, there.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:09:37): Yes! Dragons!
VardaValar1 (00:09:37): Maybe a form of bank
VardaValar1 (00:09:43): and dragons ;)
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:09:47): mustn't forget dragons
VardaValar1 (00:09:50): and eagles
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:09:54): aye
VardaValar1 (00:10:49): Fangorn says for ents it's entwives. :)
Arien V (00:11:39): Dragons
.. shiny things, caves , fire, riddles
Arien V (00:12:06): soaring through the air
VardaValar1 (00:12:07): O right, riddles.
VardaValar1 (00:12:12): mmm flying
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:12:35): Ah yes, riddles and
outsmarting humans and dwarves :)
VardaValar1 (00:13:31): Ego on wings, that's a
dragon. :) A bed of jewels just fits them.
VardaValar1 (00:13:43): treasures, I should say.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:14:23): I remember a dragon without
wings who delighted in stealing Nargothrond for himself and tormenting
a woman by removing her memory and sending her into her brother's arms.
VardaValar1 (00:14:59): Good point. Even once
considered for a form of Sauron, but that idea for Glaurung was
dropped. He was bad enough on his own.
VardaValar1 (00:15:33): Plenty of treasure and
underground tunnels and caverns in Nargothrond.
VardaValar1 (00:16:04): Mountain Giants. We can speculate.
Elladan (00:16:40): Gonna go eat. Great seeing all of
you! Namarie!
Eonwe Valar (00:16:43): Just caught up on the meeting
minutes, and I think I missed what we're talking about, heh.
Arien V (00:17:01): Namarie Elladan .. enjoy :)
(00:17:05) Elladan left this group chat.
Eonwe Valar (00:17:09): Take care Elladan :}
VardaValar1 (00:17:24): We were talking about what
makes different races happy. We started with orcs. :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:17:56): Namarie Elladan, if you see
this transcript!
Eonwe Valar (00:17:58): Ah ok, thought I read that,
but by the time it got to food, I apparently lost that topic in my head
:}
VardaValar1 (00:18:05): Foooood.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:18:09): Mountain Giants liked
throwing rocks around?
VardaValar1 (00:18:38): Mountain Giants seem to have
territory they defend, so they must have something they like there.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:18:47): Rocks. There you have it.
VardaValar1 (00:18:53): They bring the thunder.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:18:55): Rocks to hoard, rocks to
throw, rocks to.. eat?
VardaValar1 (00:19:13): Could be. "You are what you
eat" might apply there.
VardaValar1 (00:20:26): It's been an hour. Thought
maybe we should keep it short tonight. We can always continue in
After-meeting.
VardaValar1 (00:20:50): *catches a hammer flying fast
over the conveyor belt shelf*
VardaValar1 (00:20:57): *twinnnnnnnng*
VardaValar1 (00:21:10): *feathers fly as if from a
feather pillow fight*
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:21:33): What makes a Gollum happy?
VardaValar1 (00:21:36): *releases the hammer, which
bats cheerfully at feathers and flies on along the belt*
top
VardaValar1 (00:21:39): After-meeting!
Arien V (00:21:53): prreeecccciousss
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:22:01): and riddles, and fish!
VardaValar1 (00:22:04): There is no Gollum race. :)
But Gollum himself seems to enjoy the Riddle-game and fish.
VardaValar1 (00:22:13): and is addicted to the One
Ring.
VardaValar1 (00:23:23): How about the Great Eagles?
Eonwe Valar (00:23:44): Gollum doesn't love the Ring,
he hates it. No he loves it Precious. No he hates it. No, he loves
it.... :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:23:50): Flying and swooping and
watching the land.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:24:10): Saving the occasional stuck
wizard.
VardaValar1 (00:24:19): Poor Gollum So conflicted. He
enjoyed the lovely memories that Bilbo brought back to him.
VardaValar1 (00:24:32): Eagles enjoyed an easy meal
of sheep.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:24:50): Possibly picking up turtles
and dropping them from a great height.
Eonwe Valar (00:25:08): Poor turtles.
Eonwe Valar (00:25:28): But I don't think there'd be
any bif enough for the eagles.
Eonwe Valar (00:25:40): *big
VardaValar1 (00:25:51): I don't remember turtles
being mentioned for the eagles.
VardaValar1 (00:26:10): Fastitocalon would be a mite
big. :)
Eonwe Valar (00:27:30): Hehe, given he was the size
of an island, I think he'd be too much work for any eagles to try and
lift, hehe.
VardaValar1 (00:27:48): Aye :)
VardaValar1 (00:28:00): Tough turtle!
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:28:09): I was mostly making it as a
Discworld joke/reference, for those of you aware :) But I have heard of
it happening in real life too.
VardaValar1 (00:28:34): Aye. A number of waterfowl
drop various shelled creatures.
VardaValar1 (00:28:47): The thrush cracked snail
shells.
Eonwe Valar (00:28:47): And then you got to watch out
for his fire breath, and hope he doesn't tuck his feet in and chase
after you with his footjets.. Oh wait, wrong giant turtle :}
VardaValar1 (00:28:56): hehe
VardaValar1 (00:29:06): There is no wrong turtle. :)
Eonwe Valar (00:29:22): :}
Eonwe Valar (00:33:06): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SwBp7E3kMc
---- Guardian of the Universe indeed :}
Eonwe Valar (00:33:42): Warning, some parts in that
are kind of,... gooey. Viewr discretion advised.
Eonwe Valar (00:33:48): *Viewer
Arien V (00:35:11): oh i forgot i have some good
links for you one is mere fun and nmot Loto related but nice songs :)
Arien V (00:35:15): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b48KCbSWMeM
Arien V (00:35:21): just listening to this
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:35:26): I'm having trouble opening
them.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:35:35): Last time I linked
something here I needed to put spaces in the url.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:35:54): You can't seem to open the
videos directly in the window and the link itself becomes unavailable.
VardaValar1 (00:37:14): hmm
Arien V (00:37:20): this :)
Arien V (00:37:26): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuUET3XIEws&list=RDGMEMJQXQAmqrnmK1SEjY_rKBGAVMZWIRzDE1XcM&index=14
VardaValar1 (00:37:28): It looks like they are really
interesting too.
Eonwe Valar (00:37:29): Hmm, it *was* putting the URL
in there at one point, so you could just copy/paste when AIM wasn't
working.
Arien V (00:38:02): and this :)
Arien V (00:38:07): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxfoa23skHg
Arien V (00:38:19): thats all :)#
VardaValar1 (00:38:30): It's jumping form showing an
url to a pic of a video start, but not starting it.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:38:36): They do appear as urls in
the chatlog, so it'll do fine in the transcript.
VardaValar1 (00:38:51): Says "the video won't load"
VardaValar1 (00:39:10): so aye, have to do Phar's
work-around by adding a couple of spaces. This is not good.
Eonwe Valar (00:39:14): Let me try mine again here...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SwBp7E3kMc
Eonwe Valar (00:39:39): Noi, still not showing the
link... How'd you get yours to show, Arien?
VardaValar1 (00:40:16): It only showed for a secone,
then jumped to the video pic that won't load.
VardaValar1 (00:40:36): ohhh, above the pic
Arien V (00:40:42): just copy and paste
Arien V (00:40:59): anyway its Clamavis de Profundis
with Durin's song :)
Arien V (00:41:15): if you want to look for the title
Eonwe Valar (00:41:19): Hmm, copy/paste changes to
embedded video for me when I try it. Maybe without any other
commentary..
Arien V (00:41:45): and a Lord of the Rings thing
from Nightwish cut togethr film scenes#
Eonwe Valar (00:42:54): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SwBp7E3kMc
Eonwe Valar (00:43:38): Ok, I don't want to just spam
a link that isn't working, so just do a search for "gamera nycc 2015"
and you should find it.
Eonwe Valar (00:43:52): If you're interested.
VardaValar1 (00:43:59): Thanks, and yes.
VardaValar1 (00:48:45): That's fire in the belly
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:50:12): So if I take Eonwe's link
from the chatlog, and change one little thing...
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:50:15):
https://www.yotube.com/watch?v=4SwBp7E3kMc
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:50:21): just add the u :)
VardaValar1 (00:51:36): add a u at the end?
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:51:46): No, in the "yotube" ;)
VardaValar1 (00:52:17): oh I see. In you. And you
just said. Neat. :)
VardaValar1 (00:52:24): Nice workaround
VardaValar1 (00:53:53): Arien, could you do that with
yours? Find the link and then drop u from the word You in youtube?
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:54:24): Dropping a letter anywhere
in the link that is not the video code should work, but the "u" just
seemed the most obvious.
Eonwe Valar (00:54:42): Ok, ladies and gentlemen, I
need to be off for the night, but I'll be back late in the evening. If
I don't see you then, take care, good night, sleep well, and have fun :}
VardaValar1 (00:54:47): Aye, would make an easy way
to remember
VardaValar1 (00:54:53): Namarie! :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:54:58): Namarie!
VardaValar1 (00:55:03): Keep it uniform
Arien V (00:57:52): Namarie
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:13:14): Personal gaming!
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:17:08): Flashgaming:
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:17:27): http://www.kongregate.com/games/netgrind/snakes-on-a-cartesian-plane
is the first game! Snake, but with more variations.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:17:51): Get achievements, unlock
new snakes with them, play with more snakes, and enjoy the flavor texts!
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:27:50): http://www.kongregate.com/games/EvanEGibbs/reform
is the second game, an adventure puzzle game that requires shifting
shapes with different abilities to solve puzzles. Bit tough, though,
with timers on blocks that makes them reset.
VardaValar1 (01:29:35): (Elladan and I are in LotRO)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:35:04): http://www.kongregate.com/games/qubecity/euphrosine-wants-ten-dots
is the third game! Cute platformer. You play a ladybug on a map that
loops around in all 4 directions, so you can't die. You can climb, fly,
jump, around all the branches and catch the dice to collect dots.
VardaValar1 (01:35:39): Not stuck in 2 dimensions.
Neat
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:36:26): depends on how you look at
it, but it does make for interesting chases :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:41:18):
Blizzard games!
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:41:55): Hearthstone: Got my Maiev hero. Not
much special, but she's got a nice portrait and new quotes. And it's
definitely something different from Valeera.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:42:20): That's how alternate heroes
work, really ;)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:43:05): Brawl this week was, oddly,
a Valeera brawl. Old one; two Valeeras with a bunch of spells from all
classes; each spell you cast creates a random minion of the same mana
cost. Lot of luck involved.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:43:38): 2 classes leveled to.. 49,
I think? Hunter and mage. Still a few that are way behind though. Going
to be an effort to catch them up without running too much forward with
the others.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:44:42): Finally started opening
packs again. Long story short, I had a friend with whom I had a
pack-opening ritual, but she's not been online for nearly a year, so I
had over 250 packs stored which I'm finally opening.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:45:03): With more past expansions
going into Wild mode, I could really use new cards from the newer
expansions :)
Arien V (01:45:23): :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:45:24): Got a legendary already,
but alas it was one I already had.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:46:57): Heroes of the Storm: Not much news.
Some lower level heroes are catching up for me, I think I got level 7
with Rexxar. As I found out yesterday, going crazy with some heroes is
a good way to tire myself out a bit, and get some match results too ;)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:47:07): *some good match results
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:47:24): Punisher brawl, an old
one... in fact, I think it's the third time we've had it.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:47:44): WoW:
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:48:15): Lemme see... I empowered
guardian and feral artifacts, and also did the rank 3 Stormscale
skinning questline.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:48:33): I also worked a bit more on
Suramar, finishing the Statecraft objective, and finally unlocking the
last pet master.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:49:08): After fighting him for the
first time earlier today, I finally had all pet battle world quests
done and finished the elemental part for Family Familiar too.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:49:44): Only about half a dozen
fights left over the last 3 families to complete, but some pet masters
are just rarer than others!
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:50:21): Other than that, not much
World Quest news. Still doing them.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:51:19): Oh, yes, I did resume pvp
world quests, well, the ones that give marks of honor (which is random,
any pvp world quest can give or not give marks), which I've started to
use to buy old pvp season weapons to unlock their appearances.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:51:25): Going to need quite a lot
of them!
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:51:51): I want the armor sets too,
but many of those you can get with raid tokens as well.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:51:57): Which is faster, really :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:52:48): Speaking of pvp, I took
another shot at the arena weekly quest, which was repeated this week.
Got 10 wins over 2 evenings, and a lot of losses. But with some luck,
and perhaps the advantage of an empowered weapon, I got them in the end.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:53:45): No new raid progress, but
that's to be expected, we cleared normal and heroic already. It's
pretty much farmign stuff until the Tomb opens up.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:53:52): I got 4 new pets this week!
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:54:38): Mostly from pet charms: the
alarm-o-bot, the autumnal sproutling and the nightwatch swooper; I need
2 more from charms, the cheapest, so I only need to gather 100 charms
more :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:54:45): Should get that during next
week.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:55:42): The fourth one is a Dust
Bunny; interesting sequence to get one of those. You need to click a
dusty rug that can spawn in certain places in Dalaran, which allows you
to see dust bunny wild pets throughout the city for 15 minutes, which
you can then capture like any wild pet.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:56:00): So yes, nice acquisitions
there!
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:56:34): And finally, for
appearances, I got my second-last item from Temple of Ahn'Qiraj, the
scepter of Vek'lor. All I need now is a staff from the first boss, so
future weekly runs there will be a lot shorter.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:57:03): Took me a long time so far
already, but it just goes to show that things can still drop after not
having dropped for months and months :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:57:47): I also finished cleaning
out heroic Sethekk Halls, as well as normal Steamvault; and it turns
out that heroic Steamvault doesn't have anything normal Steamvault has
except for some epics that I can't unlock on the druid.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:57:53): So tomorrow I can start
Shattered Halls.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:58:12): And that's my report for
this week!
VardaValar1 (01:58:26): Sounds like a busy week.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:58:54): Yes. Didn't need to work on
friday and had no dancing on wednesday, so suddenly more free time.
VardaValar1 (01:59:13): There you go
Arien V (01:59:33): thanking you :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:00:01): Normally I'd make a
cautionary temporary save at this point of the transcript, but it's not
necessary anymore :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:01:17): (by the way, for Game of
Thrones watchers... I named my Nightwatch Swooper "Jon Swoop")
Arien V (02:02:56): :)
VardaValar1 (02:22:11): Grats on Arien's level-up :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:22:23): grats!
Arien V (02:22:32): aye thanks :)
Arien V (02:22:48): bed time for me i fear .. been a
loong day
Arien V (02:22:54): Namarie :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:22:57): namarie!
VardaValar1 (02:23:06): Namarie :)
VardaValar1 (03:12:40): Nar, Elladan, and myself on LotRO :)
VardaValar1 (03:13:37): Neat seieng a variety of
folks for Easter holiday
Ar-Pharazon-V (03:14:38): Funny how that works with
holidays ;)
VardaValar1 (03:15:03): yay
Ar-Pharazon-V (04:16:57): Well, let's try to get a
transcript...
VardaValar1 (04:17:13): Good luck to us!
