out?

Before-meeting
You have just entered room "valarguildmeetingplace."
ArPharazonV: Aiya!
VardaValar1: Aiya!
ArPharazonV: I know about Daylight saving, but 3 hours?
VardaValar1: Kind of a short 18th Anniversary chat marathon :-)
VardaValar1: Today is the anniversary
ArPharazonV: Ah!
ArPharazonV: Congratulations!
ArPharazonV: Let me think. My 12th?
VardaValar1: I should have started this last meeting. May apologies.
VardaValar1: *my
ArPharazonV: We can do it to next weekend instead ;-)
VardaValar1: We can continue it. :-)
VardaValar1: We're starting now. :-)
ArPharazonV: Yes, so *to* next weekend
VardaValar1: We could. Do you want to? :-)
ArPharazonV: *shrug* I don't mind, I'm often online anyway, so it's just opening the chatroom.
VardaValar1: Anyway, feel free to keep on with whatever you're doing, This is just the marathon.
VardaValar1: Ok, cool!
VardaValar1: I somehow lost track of the time, and have nothing at all set up.
VardaValar1: Feel free to set off fireworks for no particular reason in-game. :-)
ArPharazonV: Just did in the middle of the raid1
ArPharazonV: !
VardaValar1: Woot!
VardaValar1: Ok, stay alive!
VardaValar1: Thank you. :-)
ArPharazonV: :-)
VardaValar1: Heading into LotRO, get some fun stuff going there. :-)
VardaValar1: Pallando is on. :-)
PallandoValar has entered the room.
PallandoValar: There?
PallandoValar: Hi?
ArPharazonV: Aiya!
PallandoValar: Hooray it worked
VardaValar1: Yay!
VardaValar1: Aiya Pallando :-)
PallandoValar: We should make a Valar Guild slack..
PallandoValar: Then I can uninstall AIM. :-P
ArPharazonV: slack?
PallandoValar: New IM service, invite-only. Browser-based, standalone.
PallandoValar: Has all sorts of neat features
PallandoValar: Not sure they'd be of any use to us.
PallandoValar: https://slack.com/
VardaValar1: aiya
VardaValar1: Interesting
VardaValar1: We also have Ventrilo already.
VardaValar1: Discord was also suggested, still in beta
VardaValar1: Raidcall has been taken over by Russians, removing English language service.
VardaValar1: Razer comms has been suggested.
VardaValar1: Trying not to go with browser-based, as it eats more memory, if I understand correctly?
VardaValar1: If that's not right, please let me know.
VardaValar1: Ventrilo, which we have, also has a text area.
VardaValar1: Does anyone need the info? I can give it in a private IM.
ArPharazonV: You can even text through Skype, but I'm pretty sure that's memory-intensive as well
VardaValar1: True. I've heard some problems with it, but everything has problems.
VardaValar1: We have sections in our Vent now for LotR and GW2, and Other Games.
VardaValar1: We can add more game areas as requested.
VardaValar1: WoW, Eve, etc
VardaValar1: We could add a Meeting Place channel if we want it.
VardaValar1: I'll check out Slack also, thank you.
VardaValar1: Hah, neat ad. Slack says NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory has a group in it.
VardaValar1: Also says it's free for an unlimited number of people.
VardaValar1: Hmm, how is it paid for?
VardaValar1: afk
ArPharazonV: Ads possibly?
VardaValar1: back
VardaValar1: Maybe so
ArPharazonV: Maybe NASA's financing it ;-)
AriehnV has entered the room.
AriehnV: Aiya all together :-)
VardaValar1: Aiya and Happy 18th Anniversary :-)
ArPharazonV: Aiya!
VardaValar1: That NASA lab is just one of many users. They're trying to get it hooked into a lot of stuff too, looks like.
AriehnV: happyeth 18th indeed :-D
VardaValar1: Pallando was showing us an interesting potential IM:
VardaValar1: https://slack.com/
AriehnV: instead of aim?
VardaValar1: Maybe. Might also act in place of our Ventrilo.
VardaValar1: Just looking at it, not doing anything yet.
ArPharazonV: Does it make transcripts? :-)
VardaValar1: I'm also mentioning that our Ventrilo has a text area too.
VardaValar1: That's an excellent question.
VardaValar1: I also don't know that for Ventrilo.
VardaValar1: Vent also has its problems, heh
VardaValar1: Who all is here and able to join in for the anniversary meeting? :-)
VardaValar1: *holds up hand*
ArPharazonV: I'm here. Grinding some reputation with Sha'tari defense
and a bodyguard at the same time, in WoW, but I can pause that at any
time to say something ;-)
VardaValar1: Okie dokie :-)
VardaValar1: I'm joining LotRO to let others get in on the chat from there.
VardaValar1: If I suddenly disappear, it may be the masses of programs currently up or an accidental hit on the x.
AriehnV: i am here :-)
VardaValar1: yay!
top
VardaValar1: Elen sila lumenn' omentielvo!
VardaValar1: A star shines on the hour of our meeting. :-)
VardaValar1: Membership:
VardaValar1: Today marks the 18th Anniversary of the Valar Guild. :-)
ArPharazonV: Yay!
VardaValar1: Thank you to each one of you for making such a landmark happen. :-)
AriehnV: Hooray for us \0/
ArPharazonV: My anniversary here too!
VardaValar1: Yay for Phar's anniversary. :-)
AriehnV: Hooray for Phari \0/
AriehnV: oh stupid me .. two eggheads ^^
AriehnV: \O/
VardaValar1: Elladan is IM'ing and cheering for the anniversary. He doesn't have Group Chat at the moment.
VardaValar1: Hello from Dis. She is just going offline but shot off fireworks for the anniversary in Kingstead in LotRO. :-)
ArPharazonV: Hi to Elladan and Dis!
VardaValar1: I shot them off in Dol Amroth earlier, but plan to do something more organized later when more LotROites are on.
AriehnV: Helo to the two and those in Lotro from me as well
VardaValar1: Falco is just coming online in LotRO
AriehnV: what time? i ve got a late start tomorrow so maybei can join you for one or two
VardaValar1: After the meeting work for you? Or maybe during?
AriehnV: after d be easier
VardaValar1: Absolutely true!
VardaValar1: Feel free to cheer on our Forum. We have a thread up for the anniversary that any of us can add to.
VardaValar1: Feel free any time this month to send in Tolkien-inspired stuff for the Tolkien Site.
VardaValar1: Those will have special mentions of being for the anniversary and go on the Anniversary page too.
VardaValar1: Maybe something related to the Valar or how peoples in Middle-earth were affected by them knowingly or not.
VardaValar1: Stories, poetry, art, articles, etc are all welcome.
VardaValar1: If you'd like to add to any of the ongoing projects, that would still get the special anniversary mention.
VardaValar1: Any suggestions that anyone would like to see done for the anniversary this month?
ArPharazonV: An extra early release of the EE for the third movie would be nice.
VardaValar1: Pallando suggested checking out a website for a potential gaming and meeting place, if it has transcript ability.
ArPharazonV: Hobbit, that is.
VardaValar1: https://slack.com/
VardaValar1: We'll have to ask PJ about that, Phar. :-)
VardaValar1: Or maybe we can make a version of our own, with stick figures or such.
ArPharazonV: "Welcome to the slacker meeting" doesn't have quite the same ring to it.
VardaValar1: hehehe
AriehnV: good one hehe
VardaValar1: If anyone gets an idea they'd like to try, my email is
available on the Membership site, and I hope to be on AIM most of this
week.
VardaValar1: Random fireworks was a fun idea, or any wild looking display for your games.
ArPharazonV: A stick figure representation of the battle of five armies would be an interesting watch.
VardaValar1: Love to have some like the orcs that seemed to be running away from the battle on the sides.
AriehnV: where?
VardaValar1: In a version of the battle at Helm's Deep for PJ's LotR,
the program used programmed orcs to fill it out. A batch on the back
appeared to be running away from the fight.
VardaValar1: It was funny.
VardaValar1: They didn't have others packed around them or something to do like a fight to hold them in place and kept going.
VardaValar1: Sort of like bumper cars with nothing to bump.
top
VardaValar1: Web:
VardaValar1: We have new art from the Bohemian Weasel. She's going to run out eventually!
ArPharazonV: I had trouble placing them. Somewhere around the start of movie 3?
VardaValar1: "The Burden Grows" Frodo: "I'm sorry, Sam. I don't know why I said that."
VardaValar1: "A Gardener's Concern" Sam: "It's the Ring."
VardaValar1: "Aragorn Entombed" Aragorn: ‘..an image of the splendour of the kings of men, in glory undimmed before the breaking of the world.’
VardaValar1: "Aragorn Entombed" Aragorn: ..an image of the splendour
of the kings of men, in glory undimmed before the breaking of the
world.
VardaValar1: "Gollum Takes the Ring" Smeagol on his way to becoming Gollum after killing Deagol for the One Ring. ‘…My Prrrreciousss…!’
VardaValar1:"Minas Tirith, City of Kings" in Gondor
VardaValar1: "The White Tree" withered in the courtyard of Minas Tirith of Gondor.
VardaValar1: /end
ArPharazonV: Double aragorns there ;-)
VardaValar1: oops. Pardon
VardaValar1: Second was supposed to be:
VardaValar1: "A Vision of Barad-dûr" in Mordor
VardaValar1: Thanks. :-)
VardaValar1: More people checking things out who care makes better quality. :-)
AriehnV: very nice .. .. i really like these sketches
VardaValar1: [Kinship] Ljorin: Hello!
VardaValar1: (That's Falco-V)
ArPharazonV: Hi!
VardaValar1: Copy/pasted back to him
VardaValar1: He may be joining our fireworks run, Arien. :-)
AriehnV: Aiya Falco :-D lookingf forward to it
VardaValar1: More web. From Eonwe:
VardaValar1: Thanks to the input you all gave him for the Games Site Mass Update 2015,
VardaValar1: he now has given us:
VardaValar1: http://valarguild.org/varda/NewsArchives/extras/2015/StateofValarGaming2015.htm
VardaValar1: The State of Valar Gaming 2015
VardaValar1: This will also be attached to the Anniversary page for 2015 as usual. :-)
VardaValar1: Plus the updated
VardaValar1: Games Site, with it.
VardaValar1: A lot of work, finished in time for the Anniversary on purpose. Thanks Eonwe!
ArPharazonV: *ponders* one person playing Online Chess...
ArPharazonV: could that be Fladrif?
AriehnV: theres some minor mistakes on my info but i ll mail him about that ^^ , nothing major though , and thanks indeed :-D
VardaValar1: Aye, Fladrif answered the GSMU. :-)
VardaValar1: Eonwe asks that folks send him corrections. He did a lot of this when he should have been sleeping. ;-)
VardaValar1: Thanks, Arien. That would be appreciated.
AriehnV: hehe he mixed up my old lorekeeper with the new one
VardaValar1: oopsie
VardaValar1: I picked up some of his info for the Membership site, so you might give that a glance too.
VardaValar1: http://valarguild.org/varda/guild/members.htm
AriehnV: so only name, race and profession is wrong but thats about it
and two of the sercvers he mentioned for me under WoW are actually Rift
servers
AriehnV: but its okay
AriehnV: i ll let him know
VardaValar1: Cool beans, thanks.

VardaValar1: Gaming:
VardaValar1: LotRO: (news from me, don't blame Eonwe)
VardaValar1: Transfers are coming in not just from Elendilmir but also Riddermark servers.
VardaValar1: Feel free to dig into recruiting.
VardaValar1: It may also cause some weird lag. We hope to see some big
improvements after the new hardware switches on and the bugs are worked
out.
VardaValar1: Hobnangians is going. Whack-a-chicken as a team sport. Have fun!
VardaValar1: WoW:
VardaValar1: Find out what's going on
This Month in WoW.
VardaValar1: See the
latest hotfixes.
VardaValar1: StarCraft 2:
VardaValar1: The Collector's Edition contents have been revealed.
Check it out!
VardaValar1: A new UI is coming with Patch 3.0 for all Starcraft 2 players.
See here for more info.
VardaValar1: Check out the new short story:
Ascension.
VardaValar1: (Is that something you'd be interested in, Phar? Not a WoW short story though.)
VardaValar1: See the latest
beta balance updates.
ArPharazonV: I checked it out. But haven't really kept up with my Starcraft lore.
VardaValar1: ok
VardaValar1: Hearthstone:
ArPharazonV: Looks good though, and there's more chapters coming in the next few... days? Weeks? Something.
VardaValar1: See the notes for
patch 3.1.10357.
VardaValar1: Not a short story then, huh?
ArPharazonV: Actually, the schedule says it's the first of a bunch of short stories.
VardaValar1: Something Eonwe said that may not have been mentioned last time:
VardaValar1: For the sake of a more evident design, a link has been
added to the Member Games Listing to get the members sorted by Honor.
Previously, this was done by clicking on the "Member Games Listing"
link, but it may not have been terribly evident. Hopefully this makes
navigation to that particular section clearer.
ArPharazonV: So we were both right :-)
VardaValar1: Ok. Sounds like the best of both worlds. :-)
ArPharazonV: Also, new Hearthstone season started.
VardaValar1: Good to know. Thanks.
ArPharazonV: With new card back to be earned. Let me see, what was it..
ArPharazonV: Right. Highmaul. Ogre-themed.
VardaValar1: Gorlim-V just came on. He has LotRO news for us.
VardaValar1: The beta notes on Update 17 say we get Tier 10 crafting at last!
VardaValar1: Still fluffy since it's beta. Here's the notes he's giving me;
VardaValar1: https://www.lotro.com/forums/showthread.php?578369-Update-17-Beta-1-Release-Notes-amp-Known-Issues-PRELIMINARY-AND-NON-FINAL-BULLROARER-ONLY
VardaValar1: Even slotted crafting for jewelry and armor. o yes!
VardaValar1: He says there are screenshot of some of the crafted items in the test server here:
VardaValar1: https://www.lotro.com/forums/showthread.php?578428-U17-B1-New-Crafting-Tier-Feedback
VardaValar1: Maybe even a slotted cloak.
ArPharazonV: Jewelry and armor and cloaks, oh my!
VardaValar1: hehe
AriehnV: nice one .. especially glad about the farmland ^^#
VardaValar1: Probably about four weeks to Update 17 at a guess.
VardaValar1: What did they say about the farmland?
AriehnV: one kind of farmland for all instead of splitting between grain, frruit and pipeweed
VardaValar1: Guess that lets them cram in smaller farms in new places.
ArPharazonV: careful not to smoke the wrong vegetable!
AriehnV: hehe
VardaValar1: Celery! *ptui*
VardaValar1: Any other general gaming? Eve or other?
AriehnV: ifrom Eve i ve seen Pallando on the Valar Guild channel several times
VardaValar1: Ahh, on Eve, Sauron now has a working computer again. :-)
ArPharazonV: Legends of Equestria's officially gone Alpha!
AriehnV: usually get in one or two missions before work and a couple of missions after before going to rp onWoW
AriehnV: and on diablo 3 i ve finished my season jouney on my monk :-)
AriehnV: thus got my pet and the portrait frame as reward :-)
ArPharazonV: Ooh, grats! Bit ahead of me then :-)
VardaValar1: I think Pallando is away, so we can move on unless there's more general news?
AriehnV: uh i ve been there quite often so its no wonder :-)
AriehnV: yep we can
ArPharazonV: http://www.legendsofequestria.com/ officially gone alpha, the game I've done a bunch of open server weekends with.
ArPharazonV: Solid framework's there now, so time for the details to be
filled in, but there were already a bunch of those :-) Looking forward
to official release!
ArPharazonV: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5Uya0yTVW8 trailer, mostly just showing a bunch of the areas. I don't think it shows any combat, but that is in the game.
ArPharazonV: Other than that, no general news from me.
VardaValar1: Thanks, Phar. :-)

VardaValar1: Tolkien:
VardaValar1: Quality is a comment made fairly often in the LotR, even if not the exact word. Quality in people.
VardaValar1: What might be some spots that point that out?
ArPharazonV: That Ring was definitely high-quality, not even the forges of the Dwarves could break it.
ArPharazonV: Not a scratch on it!
VardaValar1: Not exactly a person, but it did seem to be one of the characters! Interesting.
VardaValar1: True, very high quality.
VardaValar1: and therefore very valuable.
ArPharazonV: One of a kind, one might say.
VardaValar1: Faramir made a point of the word "quality", and Sam picked up on it. Two high-quality people.
ArPharazonV: Charisma, humility, knowing what needs to be done and being willing to do it.
VardaValar1: When Faramir had a chance to grab the Ring for himself, he had a chance to prove his quality.
VardaValar1: He had said that he would not pick it up even if he found
it by the wayside, and then it came right to him, testing him.
VardaValar1: Sam said he showed his quality, the highest.
VardaValar1: The movie performed character assassination, heh. But that was the book version.
VardaValar1: How about when Aragorn went up against the Black Gate and had to choose people for that run?
ArPharazonV: It did come up in the movie, I believe. But perhaps a slightly different context.
VardaValar1: At least in the movie, he didn't take it for himself, but
was going to take it to his father at first, before he realized it
would be better if it went with Frodo.
VardaValar1: Faramir also considered the quality of the human enemy,
that those people might have preferred to stay home in peace.
VardaValar1: Remember what Aragorn did in choosing the people to go with him to the Black Gate?
ArPharazonV: He allowed those who were scared to come, stay behind and set up a defensive position along the way, I believe?
VardaValar1: Aye. He gave them an honorable fight within their ability, and they discharged the responsibilty well.
VardaValar1: [Kinship] Aeronwy: so was denethor a high quality person?
VardaValar1: (Aeronwy is Gorlim-V)
ArPharazonV: He was once. But kinda degenerated near the end.
VardaValar1: Aye to that
VardaValar1: In some ways, yes. In others, no, because he lacked
compassion, the ability to share with others, and gave in to despair.
VardaValar1: He was highly educated, and for a long time kept Gondor strong.
AriehnV: he had the ability to "look into people's heart" as well didnt
he? he pretty soon suspected that "Thorongil" might be more than a mere
mercenary
ArPharazonV: Quite perceptive. He just didn't interpret everything he perceived very accurately.
AriehnV has left the room.
VardaValar1: Aye, Denethor and Faramir could see into other's hearts.
Denethor used that to manipulate, while Faramir was moved to pity.
AriehnV has entered the room.
AriehnV: pardon me closed the wrong window
ArPharazonV: Aiyata
AriehnV: brb bio ^^
VardaValar1: [Kinship] Aeronwy: compare him to theoden.. it seems that
theoden had more not less quality as he threw off the influence of
Saruman (w/ Gandalf help) and Denethor didnt..
ArPharazonV: I think Denethor had more pride than Theoden did at that point.
ArPharazonV: Unwilling to deviate from the path he was going.
VardaValar1: Pride, good point. Denethor always had a hefty measure of
it. It may have been part of why he didn't like Thorongil/Aragorn who
was a rival in many ways.
VardaValar1: Fangorn-Valar comments that Hobbits showed an unusual quality of resistance.
ArPharazonV: Made them perfect ringkeepers.
VardaValar1: True
VardaValar1: It did go through a number of hobbits. Can we name a few?
ArPharazonV: The resilience to make even a dwarf jealous.
ArPharazonV: Deagol, Smeagol, Bilbo, Frodo, Sam?
VardaValar1: Nice. You even caught Deagol. :-)
ArPharazonV: then back to Frodo and Smeagol.
VardaValar1: [Kinship] Aeronwy: agreed. it seems that the quality of hobbits (especially of thier leaders) is very good
VardaValar1: Fangorn-Valar wonders what would have happened if Treebeard got the One Ring. What would be his temptation?
AriehnV: apart from the one who fell first .. but "only" to the inner
corruptiion , physically even Smeagol/ Gollum a good portion of
resilience
VardaValar1: [Kinship] Aeronwy: i was thinking of the leader hobbits in michael delving.. and i have to go kill hang on
ArPharazonV: Possibly do nothing except defend his trees from outsiders
with axes. Which might very well be a good outcome. If it didn't
corrupt him over time.
ArPharazonV: Who knows. Treebeard might get it into his head to cover all the world in forest.
VardaValar1: He might want to use it to find and bring back the entwives.
ArPharazonV: Travel the world and you might even find.. yes, those :-)
VardaValar1: :-)
ArPharazonV: Still, it was a moot (har har.. hrumm..) point, because if
the Ring didn't get destroyed, Sauron would've only kept growing in
power, if its new owner did not seek to cast him down.
VardaValar1: Sauron expected the new owner to come after him - that was why Aragorn's decoy attack worked so well.
VardaValar1: Bring his Ring right to him, very convenient.
ArPharazonV: Then again, the idea of an army of trees attacking the slopes of Mordor is nice!
VardaValar1: They did well versus Isengard. :-)
ArPharazonV: Indeed!
ArPharazonV: No handy dam to break nearby though.
VardaValar1: Hmm, lava...
ArPharazonV: Which probably hurts the trees more.
VardaValar1: Have to figure the aim. Maybe make a ridge.
ArPharazonV: A dozen ents breaking open a volcano. This screams for fanart.
VardaValar1: Yay!
ArPharazonV: From someone more art-capable than I am.
ArPharazonV: Ent stick figures seems kinda redundant, if I do it..
VardaValar1: Or very appropriate? :-)
ArPharazonV: hehe
VardaValar1: I'm going to pick up this little old hammer...
VardaValar1: *kerpowwywhammo!*
AriehnV: a wooden one?
VardaValar1: *blinks*
top
VardaValar1: After-meeting!
VardaValar1: *rubs ears*
VardaValar1: *carefully replaces the little old hammer.*
VardaValar1: Free chat for the whole week! Fire!
AriehnV: I ve got to add some thing for the membership news i somehow missed to say ^^
AriehnV: and its more general anyway
AriehnV: :-)
AriehnV: I shall have the great pleasure to spend the Halloween weekend
( that is from 29th october to 4th November) in Belfast at the film-
and comicon together with Bruce :-)
ArPharazonV: Spooky!
VardaValar1: Ohh, what fun!
AriehnV: so i won' t be here on that sunday the first November , and less spooky than maybe intergalactic , hehe
VardaValar1: Star stuff. My kind of place. :-)
AriehnV: A lot of Actors from Dr. Who, Star Trek, Star Gate and even two from Game of Thrones will be there ^^
AriehnV: And voiceactors from comic that have been turned into films
ArPharazonV: Ooh, I watch/watched a bunch of those things.
AriehnV: A lot of vendors of course ^^
VardaValar1: Neato
AriehnV: http://www.belfastfilmandcomiccon.com/
AriehnV: there is the link
VardaValar1: Thank you
VardaValar1: So nice that Bruce and you can do that together. :-)
ArPharazonV: Gives me a virus warning, I'm afraid.
VardaValar1: Texas RenFaire is coming up. I figure on two Saturdays but that should not affect meetings.
VardaValar1: Feel free to tell your personal gaming, Phar :-)
ArPharazonV: Ah, yes, right.
ArPharazonV: Let's start with a couple of fun flashgames!
ArPharazonV: http://www.onemorelevel.com/game/bread_pit
is a physics game where you have to drop a piece of bread in a toaster
while gathering what looks like pieces of cheese on the way.
ArPharazonV: http://www.onemorelevel.com/game/dots_revamped
is a dodge game where you play a ball, or dot, and have to avoid bad
dots while picking up good dots, and the better you do, the more
"characters" you unlock with different stats, which helps getting
higher scores.
ArPharazonV: Now, blizzard games.
VardaValar1: :-)
ArPharazonV: Heroes of the Storm:
Nothing new to tell you, really. Doing my daily quests, gathering gold.
Almost back at 20k. No new heroes bought, not much level gained.
ArPharazonV: Still fun fights though!
ArPharazonV: Hearthstone: Got a
bunch of new cards from the old classic set (including the last classic
warrior class card I was missing), completing some cheap decks I was
looking at, so will be revamping some of my classes' decks over the
next week or so. Made something new for my paladin, but haven't tried
it yet.
ArPharazonV: New season started, and already made it over rank 20 so
the card back for this month is earned :-) Most classes are getting
quite near the next level now.
ArPharazonV: Diablo 3:
Progressing well! Completed Season Journey chapter 2, and got 6 out of
8 tasks for chapter 3. My seasonal wizard is level 66 now, playing on
master difficulty, and gotten the last few skills and runes I wanted
for my build, which focuses mostly on arcane energy regeneration and
some powerful abilities to wipe out anything that comes in my sight.
Working quite well indeed.
ArPharazonV: I'll no doubt be moving up to Torment I difficulty after I
reach level 70, but from what I've seen so far, the wizard will be
better equipped to kill stuff there than any of my previous classes.
ArPharazonV: WoW: Not much to
add. One-shotted normal Archimonde for the first time this week. Last
phase got a bit of a nerf on normal difficulty though, so that helps.
ArPharazonV: Still working on the rep-grind, my second bodyguard is
halfway to level 3 now, after which I can move on to the third
bodyguard.
ArPharazonV: Oh, I finally got my last music roll for the garrison jukebox, Illidan finally gave his up :-)
ArPharazonV: And this weekend is the first Burning Crusade Timewalking
event since the new badge currency and the new vendors came in, which
means a fresh amount of things to buy!
ArPharazonV: One item of note is a device that allows you to find
portals between Draenor and Outland, through time and space, making it
easy to travel from one world to the other all over the place.
Negligible cooldown, too. Interesting to see how the place has changed
if you compare the locations :-)
ArPharazonV: And that's it for my gaming news!
ArPharazonV: Oh, as for that Rarity/Crusader picture I showed last
week, 4 more of the Diablo heroes have gotten their pony equivalent.

ArPharazonV: Leaving just one more, should arrive in the next week I guess :-)
VardaValar1: Thanks
VardaValar1: Checked the art, and off into surfing more art. Kind of like corn chips.
LotRO Anniversary Event:
VardaValar1: We did our run in Bree, horse ride in and out with fireworks at the fountain in front of the Prancing Pony.
VardaValar1: Hoping some of the screenies come out well between us.
VardaValar1: and horsed back out.
ArPharazonV: People of Bree must not've known what hit em.
VardaValar1: There was a concert near the fountain too, but I hope we were just far enough to complement and not offend.
AriehnV: people noticed us .. some accompanied us on their horses
AriehnV: i dont think we offended
VardaValar1: We were careful :-)
AriehnV: not really many usable fotos .. two maybe that i might send to to the board :-)
AriehnV: just a lot of trying out to find the right angle
AriehnV: with clutter still in the background ^
AriehnV: but .. Namarie for now :-)
VardaValar1: Namarie
AriehnV has left the room.
VardaValar1: send to my email please?
ArPharazonV: Namarie, Arien!
ArPharazonV: Right, saving and sending transcript.
VardaValar1: Thank you
VardaValar1: and on for the chat marathon :-)
