Eonwe Valar: Varda's looking at doing a kin auction every other week.

Eonwe Valar: " Kin AH: considering doing a Valar Guild kin auction
house every 2nd weekend as a habit. To do this, go to the AH and click
the option for kin only, then make it cheap. One character can only put
a limited number of items in, but we have lots of alts to help get
around that problem. A regular kin AH may help us clear some space as
well as helping the kin. Feel free to put stuff on the regular AH as
well to help offset posting prices. Let's get in the habit and check
for goodies that your main or alts could use."

Aaaron Campbell concerning some of what they're looking at for Update

the client if you need to redownload.

ArPharazonV: Well, I finished the flashgame Glean 2 which I mentioned last time,
and since I liked it so much...
ArPharazonV: I decided to go for Glean
1 :-)
ArPharazonV: Bit more primitive, but knowing the mechanics of the

let's include LotR (that includes appendices), Sil, and the Hobbit, and
see how we do.

Eonwe Valar: That's ok, my Hobbit is a bit rusty, hehe. I remember
enough to know when the movies obviously changes something though :}
Eonwe Valar: (avoiding spoilers in case one of us hasn't seen the
Desolation of Smaug :})
karakedi25: I've seen it and am aware of some of the changes.

ArPharazonV: Haven't yet, but eh, spoilers. The fact that Legolas
appears already gives away a bunch of change.

AriehnV: LotR: What path choses Frodo
to take to get on the road to Crickhollow and what is so special about
it on the evening of his birthday?
ArPharazonV: Ehr.. cutting through the woods? Not sure.
Eonwe Valar: I'm sorry, to make sure I understand: "What path did Frodo
choose to take...?" or "What choices did Frodo make on the path...?"
AriehnV: yes that is what i meant PHara yes

Eonwe Valar: That's what Bilbo did when he went on his adventure, if
memory serves.
ArPharazonV: Pretty sure Bilbo went by main path in The Hobbit.
ArPharazonV: Or are we talking about Bilbo's 111th birthday?

Eonwe Valar: How did Thorin and
Company come to stay with Beorn, and why was that method necessary?
ArPharazonV: They had to join in small groups, because Beorn was
mistrusting of larger groups?
AriehnV: Gandalf came with Bilbo and introducied the dwarves in pairs

ArPharazonV: Pairs, yes.
AriehnV: yes Gandalf needed the time to tell their tale of the journey
and the report of the fights with the orcs wolves and spiders
AriehnV: so they came in intervals during the story
ArPharazonV: Ah, yes, that ridiculous bit where they kept upping the
amount of dwarves in the story, and Beorn got suspicious every time and
kept falling for it every time.
ArPharazonV: Sorry if that sounds harsh.
Eonwe Valar: Hmm, I think that's the gist of the reasoning, Essentially
he didn't like large groups, wasn't fond of Dwarves, and Gandalf had to
get him interested in the story so he wouldn't care that the group kept
getting larger around him.
Eonwe Valar: Indis' turn.

Eonwe Valar: OK then, that ends the round. Do we want to do another or

AriehnV: i am in light casual dragon rp atm but i can easily keep track
of here between the emotes and answers since its only one person i rp
with :-)
ArPharazonV: Just browsing a bit, checking some sites, playing some
Glean, and sometimes checking how the Oscars are going, though they
don't seem to have started yet.

Savings Time begins in the US, so we'll be 1 hour ahead of where we are
now.

something was left behind for someone in a special place as a sign to
search for a special place as protection for their kind . if i get it
right .can you work out what the something and the someone is and the
special place?
ArPharazonV: Hmm, that was about the time he met Ulmo, wasn't it?
Eonwe Valar: When Turgon's people went to Gondolin, a suit of armour
was left behind in Nevrast to indicate the messenger Ulmo would send to
Turgon when the final days of Gondolin were upon him. That messenger
turned out to be Tuor, son of Huor.

Orcrist, Glamdring, and Sting (the third obviously not an Elvish name
:}).
