Before-meeting
You have just entered room "valarguildmeetingplace."
VardaValar1 has entered the room.
VardaValar1: Aiya Phar :-)
ArPharazonV: Aiya!
VardaValar1: Fangorn waved hello to you. :-)
ArPharazonV: Hi Fangorn!
VardaValar1: Getting close to that time. :-)
ArPharazonV: Well, was gonna hunt a few rares on the Timeless Isle until meeting time, but looks like the timers are still a bit away, so not gonna make it before meeting.
ArPharazonV: So I'll just log.
VardaValar1: Take a quick break ahead too. : )
Eonwe Valar has entered the room.
Iryenth has entered the room.
AriehnV has entered the room.
AriehnV: aiya there :-)
Eonwe Valar: Heya :}
VardaValar1: Aiya Arien, Eonwe, and Gilraen
ArPharazonV: Aiya folks!

VardaValar1: Elen sila lumenn' omentielvo!
VardaValar1: Membership:
VardaValar1: Here's hoping everyone's been enjoying the Thanksgiving holidays
VardaValar1: For some of you it might mean some of your fellow gamers were more available recently!
ArPharazonV: Happy turkey day!
VardaValar1: Thanks! It was a good turkey. : )
VardaValar1: On our News, we have a picture of a Thanksgiving you might enjoy. Have a peek:
VardaValar1: http://valarguild.org/varda/guild/news.html
ArPharazonV: Gandalf looks so grumpy.
mcioutpost has entered the room.
VardaValar1: Aiya Nar!
ArPharazonV: Aiya!
mcioutpost: For once I remember.
VardaValar1: We were just looking at a Thanksgiving picture. :-)
VardaValar1: yay for working memories!
VardaValar1: http://valarguild.org/varda/NewsArchives/extras/2013/Thanksgiving_Hobbit.jpg
karakedi25 has entered the room.
AriehnV: happy thanksgiving to you :-)
karakedi25: a
VardaValar1: Aiya Indis : )
karakedi25: aiya
VardaValar1: This pic:
VardaValar1: http://valarguild.org/varda/NewsArchives/extras/2013/Thanksgiving_Hobbit.jpg
VardaValar1: Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. : )
VardaValar1: Might give some of you that have Photoshop ideas. ^^
VardaValar1: Any other membership comments?
ArPharazonV: Well, what I didn't mention last week.
VardaValar1: Fire away!
ArPharazonV: Is that I bought the extended edition of the first Hobbit movie!
ArPharazonV: But I've not seen it yet, since we're keeping it as a christmas present to me.
VardaValar1: hehe
ArPharazonV: But surely, in a month or so, I'll have finally seen the movie :-)
VardaValar1: I'm hoping they incorporated the new scenes rather than having them separate.
VardaValar1: Anyone know?
VardaValar1: Web:
Eonwe Valar: Would it be an "extended edition" if the new scenes weren't interwoven into the movie? :}
ArPharazonV: I'm assuming they're integrated into the movie. But I heard there's no booklet showing the differences.
VardaValar1: Nothing new
VardaValar1: Well, yes, like some we've seen and been disappointed by. I like the ones that incorporate. PJ's been good about it so far!
top

VardaValar1: Gaming:
VardaValar1: Any non-WoW, non-LotRO gaming this past crazy week?
VardaValar1: StarCraft/BroodWar with Merry, Fangorn, and Varda together.
VardaValar1: SWTOR with Sauron, Bilbo, and Gimli
VardaValar1: Anyone else?

ArPharazonV: More flashgaming, really working down that list I made. I'll give you a short puzzle game or two if you like.
VardaValar1: Any you think are worth our trying, would love to see. : )
ArPharazonV: http://www.kongregate.com/games/ewmstaley/strand has you linking various nodes with each other, but some need to have more connections than others, or linked with certain colors, and they can't cross each other; you can imagine some creative thinking being necessary there.
ArPharazonV: Just too bad the full game, while free, is available as app only; this seems to be a 30 level demo of sorts, though it's still fun on its own.
ArPharazonV: For second game...
ArPharazonV: http://www.kongregate.com/games/randomdragoon/not-to-scale a jigsaw puzzle game, but one where the pieces scale according to the slot they occupy, making it more difficult than you might think.

mcioutpost: Is anyone in World of Tanks?
AriehnV: SwotR for me this week too
VardaValar1: What kind of game is World of Tanks?
ArPharazonV: And that's it for me!
VardaValar1: Thanks Phar :-)
mcioutpost: WoT is online. Because I'm a real tank buff I'm just curious if anyone has tried it.
VardaValar1: Happen to have a link?
Eonwe Valar: No one has claimed to play it at least, as it's not up on the Games Site.
mcioutpost: Oh well, thought I'd ask.
VardaValar1: ahh, seems to be a free mmo
VardaValar1: http://worldoftanks.com/
Eonwe Valar: http://valarguild.org/gaming, just click "Member Games Listing" and you can see what games members have told me they play. I'd be glad to add World of Tanks to your gamig info if you want to try and find more members playing.
VardaValar1: By mentioning it here, you may get transcript readers to try it. How do they find you?
VardaValar1: and it's free. ^^
VardaValar1: Lots of people are bad about keeping their info updated on the Games Site, but please feel free to email Eonwe or myself to update whenever you can.
ArPharazonV: I did find a big flashgame some time ago about tanks, if you're a "tank buff" :-) Which includes playing many matches to level your tank up to 50 while fighting other people's tanks in Worms-style gameplay.
VardaValar1: Think you can find the link?
ArPharazonV: Probably linked it before, and it's also in my list, so shouldn't be too hard.
ArPharazonV: www.kongregate.com/games/kChamp/shellshock-live-2
VardaValar1: Thanks!
ArPharazonV: Presumably there's also a 1, but I've not looked into it.
VardaValar1: heh

VardaValar1: Eonwe, you had some news?
Eonwe Valar: Aye.
Eonwe Valar: First, to add to the non-WoW/non-LotRO gaming, I did get some SC2 in this week and got a couple of levels to unlock so more Protoss goodies. I now have the judicator pylon skin.
VardaValar1: Grats!
Eonwe Valar: Thanks :}
ArPharazonV: Grats!

Eonwe Valar: Second, there appears to be a new Middle-earth-based game in the works called Middle-Earth:Shadow of Mordor. https://www.shadowofmordor.com/agegate/ for the official site. Its story seems rather,.. odd... from a lore perspective.
VardaValar1: That was circumspect of you. : )
ArPharazonV: What kind of game is it?
Eonwe Valar: Based on what I know of it, I'd describe it as an action game.
ArPharazonV: Monolith Productions... I know that name.
ArPharazonV: Ah, also behind Gruntz, Captain Claw, and the Rage of Mages series.
Eonwe Valar: The systems all sound interesting/ambitious: enemies can grow stronger/reward more if you let them live longer, any enemy can move up in rank, among other things.
ArPharazonV: I have all those.
Eonwe Valar: I'm a bit wary of the story though because it's dealing with the delicate issues of death and wraiths.
Eonwe Valar: Apparently the character we're playing died and was brought back by a "Spirit of vengeance," receiving "wraith-like abilities."
ArPharazonV: So basically a death knight in middle-earth.
VardaValar1: heh
Eonwe Valar: Well, except this wraith is inhabiting his body as well, apparently.
Eonwe Valar: As I said, they're walking a fine line storywise.
ArPharazonV: Wraiths! Wraiths on wings!
VardaValar1: Not that we would ever consider a possession-style story. *cough*
ArPharazonV: We? Naaah.
ArPharazonV: Besides, Calaron's not dead.
ArPharazonV: ..yet.
karakedi25: Speaking of which, what's up with the RP?
VardaValar1: Going to hit that in the Tolkien section, but nothing new lately.
Eonwe Valar: Anyway, I'll let you all look into it more if you're interested in it. That's it for my non-WoW, non-LotRO news.
VardaValar1: After my post it went quiet
VardaValar1: Thanks, Eonwe :-)

VardaValar1: WoW:
VardaValar1: Eonwe, you had some news?
Eonwe Valar: Aye.
Eonwe Valar: Pilgrim's Bounty and the WoW 9th Anniversary end tonight/early tomorrow, so make sure you get in your last bits of making use of them while you can.
Eonwe Valar: Feast of Winterveil is coming up in a couple of weeks.
Eonwe Valar: That's it from me.
VardaValar1: Thank you, Eonwe. :-)
VardaValar1: Any further WoW news?
ArPharazonV: Darkmoon Faire's up again.
VardaValar1: Thanks : )
ArPharazonV: And related to that, I got my first Darkmoon Rabbit kill last night. No pet for me though.
ArPharazonV: Strange little fight, that one.
ArPharazonV: Can't imagine how difficult it must've been 5 levels ago.
VardaValar1: We'll look forward to trying it. : )

VardaValar1: LotRO:
VardaValar1: Some good links to help folks are on our forum that you might want to check out.
VardaValar1: Some from Varda, Indis, and Elatan. : )
VardaValar1: In-game, we have people at 95 (like the day after it came out!) and most of us working our way up.
karakedi25: Took me a little longer than that :-P
VardaValar1: New crafting stuff up, and we need our crafters for some things not yet easily available such as level 95 draughts and salves. Other stuff also would help.
karakedi25: There were even a few who reached level cap on launch day.
VardaValar1: Tulkas may have reached it on launch day, or the day after. It was really close, on his Astald.
ArPharazonV: Level 95, eh.
VardaValar1: Aye
ArPharazonV: Well, at least the WoW expansion will go up to 100, so we'll be ahead again!
VardaValar1: And we haven't even reached Mordor yet.
VardaValar1: hehe
karakedi25: The story line and questing were so good that I chose to enjoy the journey and was not among the first to 95 by a long shot.
ArPharazonV: That's pretty much how I deal with expansions too, Indis.
VardaValar1: Aye, there's a lot of storylines gated in the towns by the epic book story too.
karakedi25: And I have 9 more characters to take through...
VardaValar1: Aye, actually play the game! That's our favorite way. : )
ArPharazonV: That, and I like to wait a day or two so the first player rush is gone, and you don't actually have to camp quest mobs.
VardaValar1: Some bugs but even for the first day the bugs weren't heavy. It was quite playable.
VardaValar1: We've been doing some runs with The Palantiri, mostly solos and duos though.
VardaValar1: Some other groups we can run with as well, when we're ready.
VardaValar1: Six manned with The Palantiri
karakedi25: Actually they did something interesting and sensible in the light of their time pressure to get launched: they cleaned up the quests nicely up to about lvl 91, but there's a certain amount of bugginess after that.
VardaValar1: Smart
VardaValar1: They also kept back some items to roll out later, such as First Age symbols.
karakedi25: I hope one of the next updates will clean up some of the bugs, especially missing vector quests.
VardaValar1: They have said they'll be fixing more on 12.1. They did a hotfix right after the launch, after seeing how it did on live. So aye, we should be seeing repairs.
VardaValar1: They have a workaround for at least one, not sure how many.
VardaValar1: The Helm's Deep quests drop some very nice jewelry and stuff. We'll be checking into more of that. : )
VardaValar1: On to
top

VardaValar1: Tolkien!
mcioutpost has left the room.
VardaValar1: We have some interesting links on our forum for that too.
mcioutpost has entered the room.
VardaValar1: Welcome back : )
VardaValar1: Do check out the latest forum links. One has still another new Tolkien-related site.
VardaValar1: Maybe it will give folks here ideas for things they'd like to add to ours or at least to look at on ours. : )
VardaValar1: One of our forum topics is from Ioreth on the movie, showing dwarf sizes. : )
VardaValar1: Our rp forum story finally managed to put the brakes on Fainan who was trying so hard to get going on the mission and leave Rivendell.
VardaValar1: More comments would be good from the group, or suggestions here as well.
ArPharazonV: Could try cooking something up, I suppose.
VardaValar1: That would be good. : )

VardaValar1: For a chat topic tonight:
LizMarr has entered the room.
VardaValar1: What did Bilbo have that the Dwarves wanted, in The Hobbit. (Referring to books, but movie is ok too)
VardaValar1: Aiya Ioreth : )
LizMarr: Aiya and I don't know
VardaValar1: Was there anything Bilbo could offer the Dwarves (whether he wanted to or not) that they needed?
VardaValar1: (whether they knew it or not).
ArPharazonV: Skill with a magic ring.
ArPharazonV: Even if he didn't have the ring yet.
LizMarr: burgle?
VardaValar1: Who did they want him to burgle from?
LizMarr: how many of them could read?
VardaValar1: *whom
VardaValar1: Most were relatives of Thorin's or worked for him. Some royal blood in the group.
ArPharazonV: It was a royal heir and his entourage, half of them his own kin. I assume they'd be literate.
VardaValar1: Thorin was royal. His nephews were Fili and Kili, also royal. We know Gloin is of the line of Durin
LizMarr: I would think that this bit about smaug is an example. I wonder how many keys and weapons and such smaugh sheltered?
VardaValar1: Aye. That Ring let Bilbo be a very special burglar.
VardaValar1: He slipped around in the Elf-king's halls without being seen for a long time.
LizMarr: he was a sweet talker too, not too many people could sweet talk folks the way he did
VardaValar1: It came from his heart, so it had a true sweetness. Aye.
Iryenth has left the room.
ArPharazonV: Some softness and subtlety that Hobbits possessed but Dwarves weren't too appreciative of until it mattered.
LizMarr: the clip from the movie gives me giggles. I'm not sure how accurate it is, but telling smaug how wonderful and powerful he is
Iryenth has entered the room.
VardaValar1: Bilbo did lay the flattery pretty thick on Smaug in the books.
VardaValar1: He realized Smaug was eating it up.
ArPharazonV: Better it than him.
VardaValar1: (Quick mention. The link to the site above about ancestry in Middle-earth, our Elatan/Amillo's Annals of Arda site is based around ancestry, geneology.)
mcioutpost: I got the impression Smaug only acted like he was buying it to keep Bilbo talking.
VardaValar1: (That site weaves back and forth with ours.)
LizMarr: the man (T) wrote so many things that parallel even today. I wonder how many of his friends listened to the tales and recognized themselves
LizMarr: I posted a link too. it starts out with the first geneology I've been half able to understand
VardaValar1: While Bilbo was flattering Smaug, the dragon rose up to show off his jewelry armor (a reason for hoards?) and that's when Bilbo spotted the hole in it that got the dragon killed.
LizMarr: I got that impression about Smaug too, that he was homing in on hime, but that might have been just movie
VardaValar1: Aye, we mentioned your link on the forum. Don't forget to check it out, folks, especially if it helps. Warning, lots of non-canon characters included but with caveats on them.
ArPharazonV: Hmm. Still awfully convenient hole, that. Almost a plothole.
VardaValar1: heh
LizMarr: all dragons die if you stick them in the tummy... right?
ArPharazonV: It worked for Glaurung.
VardaValar1: The missing gems left a place clear over his heart.
VardaValar1: But it would be a really tough shot to make, and maybe impossible melee.
VardaValar1: Anything else that Bilbo had that the Dwarves wanted or wished for?
ArPharazonV: Cake.
Eonwe Valar: Revenge.
VardaValar1: They did eat quite well when they stopped off at his house like an inn. : )
VardaValar1: Revenge, aye.
VardaValar1: They also had a superstitious type of fear that he helped them alleviate. What was it?
Eonwe Valar: He was *dramatic pause* The Lucky Number.
VardaValar1: He even used that neme describing himself to Smaug. : )
LizMarr: 13?
ArPharazonV: Very lucky.
ArPharazonV: All they needed now was a ladder and a black cat.
Eonwe Valar: He was the fourteenth of their group, actually.
VardaValar1: They had 13. They asked Gandalf to find them a 14th.
ArPharazonV: Ahh right.
LizMarr: to break past the unlucky number
LizMarr: had to keep him alive then too
VardaValar1: Aye, good idea.
VardaValar1: Bilbo also picked up the treasure nearest and dearest to Thorin's heart. What was it?
mcioutpost: arkenstone?
VardaValar1: Right!
VardaValar1: That was a lot of leverage. What did Bilbo do with it?
ArPharazonV: Give it to their assumed enemies.
VardaValar1: Why?
ArPharazonV: After assuming it as his own reward.
ArPharazonV: I should know. Trying to think of it.
ArPharazonV: Leverage, of course... but to trade against what?
mcioutpost: share of the hoard
VardaValar1: Interesting that when he first found it he pocketed it quietly instead of yelling I found it I found it!
VardaValar1: He did use it for serious leverage.
LizMarr: burgle training
ArPharazonV: A share of the hoard to repay those outside for their losses against Smaug?
VardaValar1: That was certainly part of it. But he could've done that with something besides the Arkenstone.
mcioutpost: He couldn't have walked out of camp with anything that valuable except the arkenstone.
ArPharazonV: True. It was concentrated wealth.
VardaValar1: What was Thorin doing after claiming the mountain? Was it something of which Bilbo approved?
VardaValar1: Neighbor relations mainly.
ArPharazonV: Keeping it to himself, mostly?
mcioutpost has left the room.
Eonwe Valar: He wasn't too keen on sharing the treasure with those who slew the dragon.
VardaValar1: Aye, and wanted Bard to send the elves away
VardaValar1: No help with the destruction to the village caused by the dragon that they disturbed.
VardaValar1: But o the horror. Nothing to eat for the hobbit but cram.
VardaValar1: They needed to get their food from their neighbors, and were alienating them.
ArPharazonV: What food does one grow in a mountain? Moss? Fungus?
VardaValar1: Bilbo said Thorin was quite ready to sit on his heap of gold and starve.
VardaValar1: Bilbo knew Dain and his dwarven army was on the way.
ArPharazonV: Aye, had to hurry things along.
VardaValar1: Blood of Bilbo's friends on both sides was about to be spilled.
VardaValar1: He had to stop the war.
VardaValar1: A bargaining chip was needed.
Eonwe Valar: And he had just by "mere chance" come upon a big one, hehe.
VardaValar1: While all that was going on, Gandalf came into the mix, right as the Arkenstone was presented.
ArPharazonV: Well it did shine out above the rest :-)
VardaValar1: Thorin called the Arkenstone the heirloom of his house.
VardaValar1: I'm running over the usual time here. : )
VardaValar1: When the dwarves met Bilbo, he was living in his ancestral home of Bag End.
VardaValar1: They wanted theirs too, the Lonely Mountain.
VardaValar1: Home.
VardaValar1: And thanks to Bilbo and Gandalf, they did finally get what they really wanted. Their home.
ArPharazonV: Including good neighbours!
VardaValar1: And Gandalf got what he wanted: Smaug removed from the northern pass, allies there in place of the dragon.
VardaValar1: Aye, and they had neighbors and became neighbors that could work together.
VardaValar1: They all had prosperity as a result.
VardaValar1: A Lucky Number to pick, indeed.
VardaValar1: Any further comments? They would be welcome.
AriehnV: is that the tolkien music on this puzzle game?
VardaValar1: heh
VardaValar1: *swings hammer*
AriehnV: but no further comment on the topic sorry for missing most of it but read it up :-)
top

VardaValar1: After-meeting
VardaValar1: Fly free in chat and life! Be happy!
ArPharazonV: Which puzzle game, Arien? One that I linked?
AriehnV: yeah the one with the pictures the photos
AriehnV: it sounds familiar
AriehnV: think might be from The fellowship
ArPharazonV: credits give http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/386450
ArPharazonV: It sounds like something from some classical cartoon, maybe a Fantasia piece.
ArPharazonV: But it seems to be original :-)
AriehnV: it sounds nice :-)
AriehnV: would fit to the Tolkien trilogoy tho its a similar tune
AriehnV: a similar theme
VardaValar1: Just checked it out. Original piece, cheery and classical. Like to hear more of those.
ArPharazonV: Not grounded enough for a Hobbit piece and seems too cheery for something else. But I don't know, I haven't heard much Hobbit music :-)
ArPharazonV: But there's elements in there that remind me a bit of Lotr music, I think.
ArPharazonV: Especially the.. violin or somesuch.
AriehnV: yeah thats what i mean I meant LotR the Fellowship
LizMarr has left the room.

VardaValar1: The elves didn't want to start a war over gold.
VardaValar1: Interesting that Bilbo chose to go stand with the elves for the battle
ArPharazonV: join the winning side?
ArPharazonV: oh, you mean the 5a batle.
ArPharazonV: *battle
Menelvagor Valar has entered the room.
Menelvagor Valar: Aiya
ArPharazonV: Aiya
Eonwe Valar: Heya :}
VardaValar1: Aiya Menel :-)
VardaValar1: Right, Battle of Five Armies
VardaValar1: Welcome to the After-meeting :-)
ArPharazonV: Well he had already seen them hunt, so maybe he figured they were good with weapons :-)
VardaValar1: That would be a clue : )
Iryenth has left the room.
AriehnV: Night Night all :-)
AriehnV has left the room.
VardaValar1: Namarie Arien :-)
ArPharazonV: Namarie Arien, though too late.
VardaValar1: yay transcripts :-)
Eonwe Valar: Sleep well Arien, belatedly :}

Eonwe Valar: Oh yay, the WIintergrasp I was CRZ'd with is owned by the Alliance, finally, hehe.
VardaValar1: grats!
ArPharazonV: Great :-)
karakedi25 has left the room.
ArPharazonV: saving and sending transcript
VardaValar1: yay
Eonwe Valar: No mount from VoA, and can't quite do "Earth, Wind, and Fire" because when Archavon picks me up the other two drop aggro.
VardaValar1: oy
ArPharazonV: Ouch.
[Note: below times are CST. Add one hour for EST aka Valar Standard Time.]
ArPharazon-V (7:30:13 PM):    saved
EonweValar (7:30:24 PM):    They die easily enough though, heh.
VardaValar1 (7:30:59 PM):    ^^
ArPharazon-V (7:31:49 PM):    Yep. Killed em weekly for a while.
ArPharazon-V (7:31:54 PM):    I did get the mount eventually :)
VardaValar1 (7:32:09 PM):    cool :-)
EonweValar (7:33:59 PM):    Would be less annoying if I could count on the map telling me that the Alliane controlled Wintergrasp, then getting there and finding the Alliance really do control it, regardless of where I get CRZ'd with.
ArPharazon-V (7:35:03 PM):    what does CRZ mean?
EonweValar (7:35:03 PM):    I was fine with CRZ up until that point, heh.
EonweValar (7:35:11 PM):    CRZ => Cross-realm Zone.
ArPharazon-V (7:35:16 PM):    Aahh.
ArPharazon-V (7:35:40 PM):    Wintergrasp is CRZ'd now, and it depends on whatever host server's going on?
ArPharazon-V (7:35:45 PM):    I'm glad I got the bloody mount before that, then.
ArPharazon-V (7:39:40 PM):    sent
EonweValar (7:44:40 PM):    Aye, it depends on what server you end up CRZ'd with.
EonweValar (7:45:14 PM):    Most annoying thing to find out when you see on the map your server controls Wintergrasp, only to get there and see it's Horde controlled.
VardaValar1 (7:45:22 PM):    heh
EonweValar (7:45:42 PM):    Makes me leery of trying Baradin Hold.
ArPharazon-V (7:46:22 PM):    Namarie!
EonweValar (7:51:14 PM):    Sleep well :}
VardaValar1 (7:51:37 PM):    Namarie
EonweValar (8:23:53 PM):    Trying to solo gunship in ICC is annoying. I figured since I'd upgraded my gear since my last successful attempt, it'd be easier. It's not.
EonweValar (8:29:27 PM):    Very close, finally got through.
EonweValar (9:09:06 PM):    Yay, healed Valithria Dreamwalker.
VardaValar1 (9:09:14 PM):    Huzzah!
EonweValar (9:09:33 PM):    I've officially got further than my last best solo attempt of ICC now
VardaValar1 (9:09:41 PM):    Woot!
EonweValar (9:21:22 PM):    Well, only the Lich King remains between me and the ability to solo ICC10N.
VardaValar1 (9:21:35 PM):    Woosh!
EonweValar (9:21:57 PM):    That's going to be the tough fight.
VardaValar1 (9:22:20 PM):    Just a thought. Does Dracxil ever play anymore?
EonweValar (9:25:16 PM):    Rarely, and mostly on Horde when he does.
VardaValar1 (9:25:33 PM):    ah, ok. Thanks. Hi anyway. :-)
EonweValar (9:27:02 PM):    I'll pass on the hi :}
VardaValar1 (9:27:09 PM):    Thanks :-)

EonweValar (9:27:25 PM):    Oh, I added a small post to the RP. Meant to mention it sooner.
VardaValar1 (9:27:38 PM):    oh thanks!
EonweValar (9:28:01 PM):    I do understand why Blizzard doesn't allow it, but it would be nice if you could cross-faction group with Battletag friends.
VardaValar1 (9:28:08 PM):    aye
VardaValar1 (9:28:52 PM):    Smart-aleck Noldor that don't have time to fill in silvans on important mission info. hmph. ;-)
EonweValar (9:29:34 PM):    No, just that Malril doesn't want to volunteer people to do things he can't be sure they'll be willing or able to do :}
VardaValar1 (9:29:47 PM):    Aye :-)
VardaValar1 (9:29:59 PM):    but how are the Mirkwoodites going to take it? :-)
EonweValar (9:30:41 PM):    That's up to them :} Malril did offer to speak with them to try to get them to do it in the first place :}
VardaValar1 (9:30:48 PM):    Aye
VardaValar1 (9:31:29 PM):    Well, if they don't want to talk, Hithceleb is still there. heh
EonweValar (9:31:33 PM):    hehe
VardaValar1 (9:31:49 PM):    But we'll be polite and say bye to mein host first!
VardaValar1 (9:32:30 PM):    Bet he can straighten out the confusion. He's used to it.
VardaValar1 (9:32:54 PM):    Bet he uses a lot of aspirin. Or at least willowbark.
EonweValar (9:33:12 PM):    hehe
VardaValar1 (9:35:26 PM):    Posted. :-)
EonweValar (9:38:41 PM):    :}

EonweValar (9:41:46 PM):    Yep, the Lich King is going to be a tough one.
VardaValar1 (9:42:06 PM):    uh oh - well, he should be, being the big bad and all.
EonweValar (9:43:40 PM):    Aye.
EonweValar (9:44:06 PM):    I can make him skip a few phases with as strong as I am, but he's still very dangerous.
VardaValar1 (9:44:40 PM):    Tell him if he doesn't cave, you'll send in every one of your pets.
EonweValar (9:47:29 PM):    Hehehe.
VardaValar1 (9:47:37 PM):    ^6
VardaValar1 (9:47:39 PM):    ^^
EonweValar (10:01:13 PM):    And down goes the Lich King.
VardaValar1 (10:01:31 PM):    o man! Congratulations to Eonwe!!
EonweValar (10:01:37 PM):    Thanks :}
EonweValar (10:02:15 PM):    The only two fights that gave me trouble were the Gunship and The Lich King, heh. Every other fight was easy enough.
VardaValar1 (10:02:42 PM):    The Gunship had to be tricky just because you had to be so many places at once
VardaValar1 (10:02:52 PM):    Good to hear it :-)
EonweValar (10:03:57 PM):    Aye, that's what made that one rough. Two people could easily take the Gunship, but one person trying to do everything makes it tough.
EonweValar (10:04:39 PM):    Lich King was just rough because the Lich King is deadly if you're not careful, hehe.
VardaValar1 (10:05:17 PM):    Mean ol' big bad!
EonweValar (10:05:52 PM):    Now if only I could solo ICC25N, hehe.
VardaValar1 (10:06:23 PM):    Just clone yourself 25 times?
VardaValar1 (10:06:28 PM):    Send in the pets!
EonweValar (10:07:11 PM):    Hehehe.
EonweValar (10:09:46 PM):    Now that I know I can solo ICC10N and not ICC25N, I don't have to go back to ICC until I pick up a few upgrades at least, hehe.
VardaValar1 (10:09:59 PM):    yay!
EonweValar (10:10:42 PM):    ICC25N I get stuck on Lady Deathwhisper, so I'm quite certain I'm not up to the Gunship yet.
VardaValar1 (10:11:21 PM):    Might need Bofur and Nob :-)
EonweValar (10:12:01 PM):    If our paths cross at an opportune time, aye :}
VardaValar1 (10:12:15 PM):    :-)
EonweValar (10:14:26 PM):    Some of the achievements for ICC would require more people.
EonweValar (10:14:48 PM):    For example, one of them we'd need at least 4, 3 of which need to have healing abilities,
VardaValar1 (10:14:49 PM):    I'll bet
VardaValar1 (10:14:58 PM):    How high a level?
EonweValar (10:15:40 PM):    If I were the fourth, no more than lvl 80. I'd just need 3 healer types who could survive then use up the portals as they spawn.
EonweValar (10:15:59 PM):    I could easily hold down the fort on the outside myself, obviously :}
VardaValar1 (10:16:13 PM):    hmm
EonweValar (10:16:30 PM):    But someone has to remain on the outside or the entire fight resets, and all the portals that appear *must* be used for the achievement.
VardaValar1 (10:16:31 PM):    I wonder how my survivability is.
EonweValar (10:17:40 PM):    http://wowpedia.org/Portal_Jockey_(10_player)
VardaValar1 (10:18:39 PM):    maybe the page wil show up soon
VardaValar1 (10:18:49 PM):    Think the comp and me are both about to keel over.
EonweValar (10:19:45 PM):    hehe, then go get som rest :}
EonweValar (10:19:46 PM):    *some
VardaValar1 (10:19:57 PM):    that's a thought! :-)
VardaValar1 (10:22:07 PM):    Namarie :-)
