Arwen V1 has left the room.
Eonwe Valar: Pardon, trying to help Arwen figure out why she can't get
in.
Eonwe Valar: She thinks the school's blocking it, and that's about all
I can come up with as well.
VardaValar1 has entered the room.
VardaValar1: Aiya!
Eonwe Valar: Heya :}
ArPharazonV: Aiya

Eonwe Valar: Heya all.
Arwen V1 has left the room.
Eonwe Valar: Anyone have any suggestions for Arwen?
VardaValar1: Arwen says school may be blocking her
Eonwe Valar: She's having problems gettign in and can only assume her
school's blocking chat channels.
FinduilasV: it may well be it was with me like this when i was at
college
Eonwe Valar: It's kinda strange they'd block it on the line though,
since the computer is hers.
Srekal86: well, it is their network ;-)
Eonwe Valar: Well yeah, but my university isn't that strict to block
chat rooms on the line :} They just ask you not to go into them in the
labs.
Srekal86: VardaValar1: you could have her try this; http://www.aim.com/get_aim/express/aim_expr.adp
VardaValar1: Thanks Srekal and Finduilas, passing on your suggestions
VardaValar1: she says does not appear to be valid link
VardaValar1: May be the spaces
Srekal86: its valid, make sure you copied it right, or she managed to
click it wrong or they block aim.com, though that's doubtful
Srekal86: there are no spaces...
Srekal86: its an underscore.
VardaValar1: okies
Srekal86: VardaValar1: how's the encyclopedia coming?
VardaValar1: Srekal, she says she can't log in to AIM express
VardaValar1: That will be in my web report, Srekal. Been working on it
though : )
Eonwe Valar: Heh, I clicked on the link, and the title of the page is
"AIM: Oops!Page Not Found" and then it tries to blame my typing too
fast :}
VardaValar1: Could you speak with her directly, Srekal?
VardaValar1: she gets an error also
Srekal86: I'm afraid I am out of ideas without researching it more and
am rather busy, sorry.
VardaValar1: k
VardaValar1: Let's get to the meeting for those who are not afk : )
Srekal86: works great for me, even trired a proxy and it still works.

VardaValar1: Web
News:
VardaValar1: Eonwe, did you have some for the GPMU?
Eonwe Valar: Yes I did.
VardaValar1: Please go ahead.
Eonwe Valar: The Games Page Update, as you all should know, was started
early this year, and it's about halfway through the alotted time now.
Eonwe Valar: There's still two weeks to go, and alot of members haven't
sent in any info yet, whether by E-mail, a whisper here in AIM, or even
a Private Message on our Forum.
Eonwe Valar: I would hope everyone would want to be able to find peopel
to game with :} So if you see or know any members who haven't sent
anything in, encourage them to do so,...
Eonwe Valar: and if you're one of them, you're here, and I'm here, so
you can give that info now :}
Eonwe Valar: Thank you.
VardaValar1: You can use a side window at any time during the meeting
to let Eonwe know which games you play online.
VardaValar1: Thank you, Eonwe, for your report and all the work you've
done.
VardaValar1: Eonwe is rebuilding the entire Games page with php
programming.
MyCantalopeH8tsU has entered the room.
MyCantalopeH8tsU has left the room.
VardaValar1: Looks as if Arwen's not the only one having trouble.
VardaValar1: For the Tolkien Encyclopedia:
VardaValar1: I've been working on the A-Z index, updating it now that most
of the articles are separated.
VardaValar1: http://valarguild.org/varda/Tolkien/encycaz/frames/encycazfrms.htm
VardaValar1: Click on the letter, the list comes up on your right, and
you can go to any article.
VardaValar1: The page for Man is still being worked on but much
progress has been made, and that is now uploaded for the first time, as
of this week.
VardaValar1: Many more articles for Man will be showing up on the A-Z
as the work continues.
VardaValar1: On the Story
page:
VardaValar1: Cassia and Siobhan made a short one
VardaValar1: It was by Siobhan to cheer up Cassia after a rough day
VardaValar1: It's called Legolas' No
Good Rotten Day
VardaValar1: http://valarguild.org/varda/Tolkien/encyc/fiction/authorsT/CassiaSiobhan/stories/LegolasNoGoodRottenDay/LegolasNoGoodRottenDay.htm
VardaValar1: It's out of order, sorry about that.
VardaValar1: It's supposed to come after "Betrayal" which I haven't
quite finished editing, but can stand alone.
VardaValar1: Any other web news?
VardaValar1: Oh, more on gaming web
VardaValar1: We've added to the WoW
gaming page with the Uldaman server info
VardaValar1: It's reachable from the Lothar page
VardaValar1: If there is no further web news?

VardaValar1: Gaming
VardaValar1: Has anyone played anything besides WoW this week?
VardaValar1: Finarfin emailed
that he's playing Guild Wars
ArPharazonV: oh, fun, I should
get back to that
VardaValar1: He'd like to know if anyone else is.
LuthienV: I played some WoS this week
VardaValar1: Thanks, Luthien. Did you see anyone else (of ours) on?
LuthienV: No I didn't
VardaValar1: Might be a timing problem. We all seem to have that.
VardaValar1: Good thing we have you there. : )
VardaValar1: Pharazon, would you like to give your Euro WoW
report?
ArPharazonV: I could give it a shot, not much to tell
ArPharazonV: I had some contact with Menelvagor and Finduilas in the
game through whispers, though we did not meet
VardaValar1: Do you guys run a Valar channel? As in type /join Valar?
ArPharazonV: no, we just keep each other in friendslists, and whisper
each other
VardaValar1: It's a handy way to do it. You can even make another tab
for it and give the words a different color to show up.
ArPharazonV: problem with being in a big interconnected raidgroup like
the one I'm in is the lack of channels.. my 10 channels have been full
for ages
VardaValar1: We do that a lot.
VardaValar1: Interesting. Haven't ever reached the 10 limit.
ArPharazonV: as a feral druid, I'm in the rogue-class-channel, the
warrior-channel, the healer-channel and the druid-channel...
VardaValar1: Does it help?
ArPharazonV: as well as the raidgroup's general channel, and the
channel we need to reserve for the ct_raid mod... and of course the
general channel, the trade-channel, and the defense-channels
ArPharazonV: it helps to be in all those classes, as I must share in
their functions from time to time
VardaValar1: So there's another tip, fellow WoW players.
ArPharazonV: if I had the space, I would consider opening a
Valar-channel, even though there are but 2-4 Valar online at the same
time on any given time... but I'm afraid I'm quite full
ArPharazonV: in any case, our raidgroup has started on Naxxramas this
week, and dying a lot to one of the first bosses... they're quite hard
in that instance :-)
ArPharazonV: but we'll get there
ArPharazonV: tomorrow we're having a mixed Molten Core run with our
sister-raidgroup, so to say, as well as some guests and friends...
Gondoline, Menelvagor's mage, signed up for it, but with the
overattendance and the late signup
ArPharazonV: he has been pushed into a small backup group
ArPharazonV: so there's a good chance he might make it in, which would
be fun, since we haven't met up in-game in quite a while
ArPharazonV: but then again, he might not
ArPharazonV: I guess we'll have to see
ArPharazonV: this week for me has mostly been about trying to get
reputation with the Argent Dawn, so not much more to tell
ArPharazonV: so I'll give the floor to Eonwe
VardaValar1: Eonwe has the WoW Lothar report. Go ahead Eonwe.
Eonwe Valar: Thanks.
Eonwe Valar: Destinations: Stratholme, Sunken
TempleQuestsStratholme)The Great Fras Siabi, Spirits of
Stratholme(Sunken Temple): Tooth of Morphaz(Hunter Only), Blood of
Morphaz(Priest Only)
Eonwe Valar: Er, let me make that clearer for you..
Eonwe Valar: Destinations: Stratholme, Sunken Temple
Eonwe Valar: Quests: (Stratholme)The Great Fras Siabi, Spirits of
Stratholme
Eonwe Valar: (Sunken Temple): Tooth of Morphaz(Hunter Only), Blood of
Morphaz(Priest Only)
Eonwe Valar: This week took Merry, Varda, Eonw, Fangorn, and Beline
into Stratholme. At first, it was just the first four, which made
things interesting fighting at the beginning.
Eonwe Valar: Then, Beline joined the fun, and it became a bit easier.
We fought our way to the tobacco shop first, to complete the Great Fras
Siabi, clearing out the Ghostly Citizens as well with Egan's Blaster.
Eonwe Valar: After dealing with the animated corpse of Fras Siabi, we
took on the Zombie Postmen, but with the addition of a Ghostly Citizen
or two, that proved to be just barely too much for us.
Eonwe Valar: We fought our way through two respawned groups to come
back and destroy them, but at that point Merry had to go,
Eonwe Valar: and so the rest decided to head into the Sunken Temple to
aid Fangorn and Varda in getting their class specific quests done.
Eonwe Valar: Along the way we also lost Beline, so it was Varda,
Fangorn, and myself to face the dragon Morphaz and his buddy.
Eonwe Valar: We cleared out the large room first, with little
difficultly. Then we went down the hall to Morphaz, and after clearing
it of dragonkin, began the fight.
Eonwe Valar: Once again, it was an easy task, and after defeating
Morphaz and his buddy, Varda got to disenchant the same weapon twice :}
At that point, we called it a night.
Eonwe Valar: And that is the WoW Report.
VardaValar1: Thanks, Eonwe
VardaValar1: Finduilas, would you like to tell your Euro report?
FinduilasV: Thank you Varda :-)
FinduilasV: Just on behalf of the lower levels hehe
FinduilasV: Anyway, Finduilast fought valiently through to Fargodeep
mines
FinduilasV: and took some banderas to the Marshall at the Abbey
FinduilasV: I found the halfeaten remains of one of the missing guards
FinduilasV: and i know where the vilalge is
FinduilasV: at Cairn stone lake
FinduilasV: The dwarfen warrior Ibun was born two days ago in Coldmine
Valley
FinduilasV: And braved already the pass
FinduilasV: and had some fun with wolves and bears
FinduilasV: Aiyata is finishing off the starter area before venturing
on to Darkshor
FinduilasV: e
FinduilasV: so I found a few other lowbies who might be interested in
group gaming
FinduilasV: They are not Valar guid members but they are lower than me
hehe
FinduilasV: I found other gamers who use Tolkien names
FinduilasV: like Eowyn, Eomer, Elwing
FinduilasV: so I might try and get them to come one night
FinduilasV: on a sunday :-)
VardaValar1: : )
FinduilasV: And thats it from my side :-)
VardaValar1: Thank you, Finduilas!
VardaValar1: Uldaman
server, our Horde group, has been busy.
VardaValar1: The Uldaman group now has a full branch with a charter and
tabard
VardaValar1: The name and tabard are the same as the one on Lothar,
VardaValar1: and considers itself a branch of Eonwe's group.
VardaValar1: We use our guild names or versions thereof.
ArPharazonV: ah, so it's actually working? how fun
ArPharazonV: the horde-branch of our Europe-guild on Venture Co never
did really get off the ground
VardaValar1: It's fun partly because we're all nearly the same level,
the lag is very low, and we are trying such different characters,
places, and instances.
VardaValar1: We work because we already know each other and are good
friends.
VardaValar1: We also hope to get to try out the new Blood Elves and
jewel-crafting together when it becomes available.
VardaValar1: Any guild folk are automatic members on our Uldaman group
if you let us know you are there.
VardaValar1: Please type /join Valar to enter our side channel
VardaValar1: We try to keep our characters there as well as the guild
channel
ArPharazonV: we're reluctant to give our attention to a whole new
server and set of characters after all we've put into the
Alliance-characters on AD... guess it's easier when you're not raiding
4 days a week
VardaValar1: It's a huge help
VardaValar1: We are not playing seriously in the Horde group
VardaValar1: More casual
VardaValar1: We still go to Lothar, and Friday we are expected to go to
Lothar for high level gaming.
VardaValar1: The listing is more or less up to date on our WoW page
VardaValar1: We keep trying new characters so it's hard to keep up : )
VardaValar1: That's all I have on the WoW Uldaman, except a major thank
you to Gimli!
VardaValar1: He did heavy auctioning to help us raise the 10 gold for
the tabard.
VardaValar1: That's a lot for us lowbies.
VardaValar1: I'm done
VardaValar1: Any other gaming comments? Something you're eyeing? I hope
LotRO? : )
VardaValar1: Any other comments, suggestions?
Eonwe Valar: I'm eyeing LotR vol 1 for SNES, but as of yet have
not had a chance to pull my SNES out for another pass through that game
:}
FinduilasV has left the room.
Eonwe Valar: Not quite what you're looking for I suspect :}
VardaValar1: SNES?
Eonwe Valar: Super Nintendo Entertainment System :}
Eonwe Valar: aka Super Nintendo :}
VardaValar1: Thanks : )
FinduilasV has entered the room.
VardaValar1: Are we done with business now? : )
top
VardaValar1: Tolkien:
VardaValar1: Fire a Tolkien topic my way in a window, and we can go
ahead and start on one I have.
VardaValar1: Messages.
VardaValar1: These days we have so much easy messaging with our cell
phones, email, AIM
VardaValar1: but Middle-earth had it much tougher.
VardaValar1: What types of messaging
can you think of used in Middle-earth?
ArPharazonV: the red arrow :-)
LuthienV: I would think they could have used Pigeons like they did way back when
ArPharazonV: messengers on horses
would be used often
VardaValar1: Red and black arrows, good. If the messenger is dead, the message still
gets through.
ArPharazonV: if it's in letter-form, or any other symbol like the
arrow, indeed, it could outlive the messenger if the message was
recovered
VardaValar1: Aye. Even high ranking people such as the lord of
Harrowdale or a prince of Mirkwood would be sent on horseback with a
message.
FinduilasV: They used the good old messengers, the fire and mouth to
mouth
ArPharazonV: oh aye, the beacons
LuthienV: smoke signals
VardaValar1: Aye, the fires on top of the hills.
ArPharazonV: what did Ghan-buri-ghan's folk use again? drums?
FinduilasV: drums
VardaValar1: Drums, good!
ArPharazonV: low rhythmic (sp?)
weapons can carry quite far over a distance
VardaValar1: Palantiri for a
select few. : )
Eonwe Valar: Rings of Power of
another select few :}
Eonwe Valar: *for
ArPharazonV: is there any mention of a sort of telepathy? giving messages across
far distances through thoughts and dreams?
VardaValar1: A form of telepathy between some elves, and for Gandalf.
ArPharazonV: I remember some occasions used in the movies, but don't
really recall them in the books
Eonwe Valar: It's short-range though.
VardaValar1: They did in the books
FinduilasV: handy handy
FinduilasV: I should know ;-)
LuthienV: What about with the Ents
and the forest?
VardaValar1: For instance, on the way back from the War of the Ring,
Gandalf, Elrond, and Galadriel chat without words.
Eonwe Valar: Otherwise Gandalf could've "called out" for help from atop
Orthanc without having to hope for a chance encounter with Gwaihir.
VardaValar1: Aye, they were sitting together
ArPharazonV: the Hobbits summoned Tom
Bombadil by saying a verse which he could never have actually
heard from his home
VardaValar1: It was a sort of summoning
magic, a song.
VardaValar1: Aye
ArPharazonV: and I do recall that Galadiel
could look into the minds of the fellowship :-)
Eonwe Valar: Seems he got there awefully fast to be listening from his
house.
VardaValar1: Right : )
Eonwe Valar: More likely he wasn't far from the Barrow Downs, just in
case.
VardaValar1: Tom may well have been expecting trouble. : )
ArPharazonV: true
FinduilasV: And Aragorn wrestled with Sauron through the Palantir
FinduilasV: him without speaking a word
VardaValar1: True
ArPharazonV: aye, the Palantiri allowed for silent communication
Eonwe Valar: Having a reforged Narsil
figuratively shoved in your face is worth a thousand words :}
FinduilasV: the sword that started the task of conquering evil L(
FinduilasV: :-)
VardaValar1: Turin's
sword spoke. I wonder if it spoke much more than was mentioned.
ArPharazonV: and did it really speak, or just communicate with Turin in
his mind?
VardaValar1: Well, it couldn't use a mouth or lungs.
ArPharazonV: do we have any mention of other people hearing the sword
talking?
Eonwe Valar: And di it talk because of Eol's malice forged into it, or
because of the nature of the metal with which it was wrought?
Eonwe Valar: And if the latter, who in all of Ea would create a talking
metal?
VardaValar1: Aule tried making dwarves which were little more than
robots to begin with, moving only at his thought.
FinduilasV: maybe it was part of his personality
ArPharazonV: maybe Aule wanted something to talk to before thinking up
Dwarves?
ArPharazonV: :-)
VardaValar1: The metal used in the sword came from a meteorite, a
falling star.
ArPharazonV: that doesn't really say anything.... if it's a meteorite,
it still came from Ea, and if that's the case, chances are still that
Aule had something to do with it in the beginning
VardaValar1: Aye, it is interesting because it could have had odd
properties not normal to Arda.
Eonwe Valar: Well, I certainly say that Anglachel had some interesting
properties we don't here about its mate, Anguirel, having :}
Eonwe Valar: *hear
ArPharazonV: who's was that again?
Eonwe Valar: Anguirel as I recall was kept by Eol until Maeglin took it
with him and his mother to GOndolin.
LaurealasseHelka has left the room.
Eonwe Valar: Anguirel was made from the same meteoritic iron Anglachel
was, but we don't hear about it talking to Maeglin or Eol.
Eonwe Valar: Then again, both owners didn't exactly have wonderful
lives with the sword in their possession either..
Eonwe Valar: Turin was constantly trying to fight his fate while being
targetted by Morgoth, and Maeglin came face-to-faec with Morgoth.
Eonwe Valar: Makes one wonder who's voice Turin was hearing in that
sword.....
VardaValar1: Aye
VardaValar1: Nasty thought
VardaValar1: It sure wasn't a friendly sword.
FinduilasV: they certainly used the sword as channel
FinduilasV: the maker wasn t very fiendly
VardaValar1: They warned Beleg when he chose it, but it never harmed
him.
VardaValar1: Not on purpose.
VardaValar1: It seemed angry about being used against him.
Eonwe Valar: Hadn't really thought about the sword being angry about
killing Beleg.
FinduilasV: WHAT were the exact words?
Eonwe Valar: I'll grab my Sil and dig them out.
VardaValar1: I'll go upstairs and get mine too. Changing floors with
the comp is not terribly convenient. : )
FinduilasV: something with blood being spilled when its drawn
FinduilasV: but i cant remember exaclty
Eonwe Valar: "Yea, I will drink thy blood gladyl, that so I may forget
the blood of Beleg my master, and the blood of Brandir slain unjustly.
I will slay thee swiftly."
VardaValar1: Thank you, Eonwe! Just got back. : )
Eonwe Valar: mp :}
Eonwe Valar: You do have a point. It does seems Gurthang wasn't too
pleased about having been used to kill Beleg or Brandir.
VardaValar1: Eowyn-(V) comments that the speech might have been purely
in Turin's mind which wasn't operating on both cylinders at the time.
Eonwe Valar: That's a good point as well.
VardaValar1: The sword thinks of Beleg as its master. Interesting.
Eonwe Valar: Well, the sword was given from Eol to Thingol then Thingol
to Beleg.
Eonwe Valar: Turin just grabbed it from Beleg in the heat of the moment.
Eonwe Valar: But aye, it does seem that if Anglachel had some level of
sentience, it at least repsected Beleg.
Eonwe Valar: *respected.
VardaValar1: Looking and you're right, Beleg had been using it and
pricked Turin with it, who woke up badly. : )
VardaValar1: Vrey dark
VardaValar1: Very dark
VardaValar1: So if it respected Beleg, it might not have been evil.
Beleg was a good person through and through.
crasyboy45 has left the room.
Eonwe Valar: It carried the malice of its owner, though.
Eonwe Valar: er, it's maker.
Eonwe Valar: its maker even
FinduilasV: interesting thought that]
VardaValar1: Mim tried to use the sword against an unconscious Beleg
earlier. Beleg woke in time and took it back, and scared off Mim.
FinduilasV: very much like the ring
FinduilasV: I mean that it CARRied the evil of its maker
VardaValar1: A sword by its nature is made for killing.
VardaValar1: If the maker of the sword adds malice to that, it would
explain its apparent desire for vengeance. Or was it considering it
justice?
VardaValar1: There is a fine line.
Eonwe Valar: The sword said "Brandir slain unjustly"...
Eonwe Valar: Might consider it justice .
Eonwe Valar: Perhaps vengeance for Beleg and justice for Brandir?
Eonwe Valar: Beleg's death had extenuating circumstances, but Brandir
was just cold blood.
VardaValar1: Melian looked at the sword and warned Beleg:
FinduilasV: she likely could sense the evil and a bit of precognition
VardaValar1: "There is malice in this sword. The dark heart of the
smith still dwells in it.
VardaValar1: "It will not love the hand it serves; neither will it
abide with you long."
VardaValar1: It was not stolen, but a royal gift of Beleg's choosing.
Perhaps it felt flattered. And it was used in good causes.
VardaValar1: Perhaps the traits of Beleg affected it as well as those
of its maker?
Eonwe Valar: Perhaps.
Eonwe Valar: They owner will make as much impression on an item as the
maker.
VardaValar1: Still, not a sweet sword, I have to agree. : )
FinduilasV: a sort of loyalty I guess
VardaValar1: Beleg made it famous in good use.
VardaValar1: Even an evil sword might like that.
ArPharazonV: did Turin make such an impression on the sword?
ArPharazonV: it didn't seem to like him much...
FinduilasV: I guess so, well Gollum didn t like Frodo much, but he felt
still very flattered by Frodos kindness
FinduilasV: well sort of kindness anyway
VardaValar1: The sword was a gift from Thingol to Beleg. Thingol got it
legally as a price to Eol for leave to dwell in Nan Elmoth.
FinduilasV: just to draw the paralles
FinduilasV: parallel
VardaValar1: The sword was not Turin's.
Srekal86 has left the room.
ArPharazonV: but Beleg was dead.... so whose was it?
VardaValar1: My error.
Eonwe Valar: Turns out it was Gwindor that didn't let it be buried with
Beleg.
Eonwe Valar: "But the drea sword Anglachel Gwindor took, saying that it
were better that it should take vengeance on the servants of Morgoth
than lie useless in the earth;"
Eonwe Valar: *dread sword
VardaValar1: aye, after Beleg's death the sword goes to Gwindor.
VardaValar1: then Gwindor later gives it to Turin
Eonwe Valar: Wehn Gwindor gives it to Turin: "This is a strange blade,
and unlike any that I have seen in Middle-Earth.
Eonwe Valar: It mourns for Beleg even as you do."
VardaValar1: It mourned.
Menelvagor Valar has entered the room.
FinduilasV: "D
FinduilasV: :D
Menelvagor Valar: Aiya
FinduilasV: Aiiya Menelvagor
VardaValar1: Aiya
VardaValar1: We were just looking up goodies about Anglachel, a sword
with an interesting character. It can mourn and pass judgement on
Turin's actions, and speak.
Eonwe Valar: Heya Menel
FinduilasV: been a very interesting discussion Menel
VardaValar1: Gwindor hears Turin's song of mourning for Beleg, then
turns the sword over to him.
VardaValar1: The sword and the human both mourn for Beleg the same way.
VardaValar1: Gwindor had escaped enslavement in Angband and was found
and comforted by Beleg, so he helped Beleg with Turin.
VardaValar1: Gwindor was a lord of Nargothrond under King Orodreth.
VardaValar1: Menel, the discussion was originally on how messages were
passed in Middle-earth, and we mentioned the talking sword and
tangented.
FinduilasV: got loops and grew a mind of its own hehe
VardaValar1: Sort of sticky figuring out the sword's personality.
ArPharazonV: so Gwindor passed the sword on to Turin because he thought
they mourned Beleg in the same way, not knowing that the sword was
blaming Turin and actually had no loyalty to him?
VardaValar1: Melian said it carried the malice of it's maker, Eol, and
would not love the hand it served.
ArPharazonV: but of course Gwindor did not know this..
VardaValar1: It was gifted to Beleg, and mourned his death, so perhaps
it did care about that hand, and was not as evil as believed.
VardaValar1: maybe so, Phar
Eonwe Valar: Or, Melian's prophecy could be interpretted that Turin was
the hand it would serve.
VardaValar1: But by being forced to kill Beleg by Turin, its malice may
have come back.
VardaValar1: Aye, Eonwe.
Eonwe Valar: Melian telling Beleg it would not be with him long,
indicating that it was not him that the sword would serve.
Eonwe Valar: If that made sense the way I said it,
FinduilasV: a talking sword with a personality of its own doesnt make
sense anyway hehe
FinduilasV: but it was understandable , Eonwe
FinduilasV: l(
FinduilasV: ;-)
VardaValar1: That could be the interpretation. Melian was possibly
confused also, since prophecy is weird stuff, and thought she was
prophesying for Beleg when it was meant for Turin.
VardaValar1: Aye, Finduilas. Tolkien loved Norse stuff and they had
talking swords, so I guess he just had to throw one in. : )
Orodreth V has entered the room.
Orodreth V: Aiya all.
VardaValar1: Orodreth! We were just talking about one of your lords and
his friends. : )
FinduilasV: Aiya Oro :-)
Orodreth V: I had a few. Which one this time? :-)
VardaValar1: Gwindor
VardaValar1: We were mainly discussing Anglachel, but you two were
dragged into the talk.

Orodreth V: oops, didn't mean to send from there

FinduilasV: and rather enlightening hehe

annoying .. it happened with the main energy at Sabhal Mor Ostaig, the
Gaidhlig college
