Before-meeting:
You have just entered room "valarguildmeetingplace."
Eonwe Valar: Actually, I've heard people use "mice" to refer to multiple "mouses" as well.
Eonwe Valar: Heya Phar
ArPharazonV: Aiya
ArPharazonV: mice is the plural, no?
Eonwe Valar: Aye, it is.
Eonwe Valar: We're talking about two different types of mouse though.
ArPharazonV: does that mean the singular of rice is rouse?
Eonwe Valar: the furry kind and the plastic, corded kind.
VardaValar1 has entered the room.
VardaValar1: brb, sorry
Eonwe Valar: if rice and mice are from the same language before joining the English vocabulary, it's pssible.
Eonwe Valar: *possible
Eonwe Valar: or singular of "rice" could be "rie" like "dice" is "die"
ArPharazonV: also possible
Menelvagor Valar: as far as I know, the singular of rice is "a grain of rice"
VardaValar1: back
Menelvagor Valar: wb :)
VardaValar1: Aye, Menel : )
VardaValar1: One rice field, one grain of rice
FinduilasV has entered the room.
Eonwe Valar: wb :}
TH0R0NGIL has entered the room.
FinduilasV: Aiya there L)
Arwen V1 has left the room.
FinduilasV: :-)
Eonwe Valar: Might be an archaic singular form for rice that just got too tedious to use? :}
ArPharazonV: could be!
FinduilasV: What do ye think I chose the name Aiyata ;-)
FinduilasV: why
ArPharazonV: and then it could have been rie, rouse, or whatever!
VardaValar1: Arwen says she's having trouble coming into the chat
ArPharazonV: although rie sounds a bit more likely ;-)
VardaValar1: Feel free to side-window chat with her. :-)
Eonwe Valar: Rye on the other hand is another sort of plant we harvest :}
VardaValar1: Nice that that much works anyway
ArPharazonV: then we have rye and rie! could there be a linguistical connection going on there?
VardaValar1: phone again
Eonwe Valar: Don't think so. Besides the rhyming sound, I haven't noticed much connection in any language between most rhyming words. Then agian, I just may not have been paying enough attention.
Menelvagor Valar: or, it could just be that the word was invented as soon as the europeans got into contact with the Asians, who had rice, whereas the Europeans did not :P
Eonwe Valar: dice, rice, splice, mice.
TH0R0NGIL: trice
ArPharazonV: twice!
TH0R0NGIL: nice!
VardaValar1: slice
Eonwe Valar: de tin, marin, de do, pinque, cucara, macara titere fue.
ArPharazonV: spice
Eonwe Valar: *pingue
ArPharazonV: precise
ArPharazonV: ehrr.. wait
ArPharazonV: pre..sice? ;-)
VardaValar1: Today, let's try to do something a little different with the meeting
Eonwe Valar: THat one from me is the SPanish equivalent of "Eeny, meeny, miney, moe."
VardaValar1: I'd like to use it for planning a bit, not just reports
VardaValar1: Or we could just chat about rice : )
Eonwe Valar: I suppose our fun with the English language can be put on hold :}
VardaValar1: aww

VardaValar1: Elen sila lumenn' omentielvo!
VardaValar1: Membership News
VardaValar1: Has anyone heard from Gwaihir or Gilraen lately?
VardaValar1: They should be together in England now, getting ready for the wedding.
VardaValar1: Fangorn phoned hello. Any other member news?

VardaValar1: Web News:
VardaValar1: New link for the Links page
VardaValar1: It's a blog survey of Tolkien fans
VardaValar1: He hopes to write a book from it and it would be nice if we are represented.
VardaValar1: http://middleearthsurvey.blogspot.com/
VardaValar1: Tolkien site:
VardaValar1: New article
VardaValar1: "Denethor's Depression"
VardaValar1: http://valarguild.org/varda/Tolkien/encyc/articles/d/Denethor/Denethor2.htm
VardaValar1: by me
VardaValar1: The A-Z and Man page is making progress that you can see now.\
VardaValar1: The largest part of both are done, but still being worked on.
VardaValar1: While going through, I notice we could really use an article on Turgon
VardaValar1: We have some Turgon experts here, maybe you could help out? : )
Eonwe Valar: Turgon? What's there to know about Turgon? :}
VardaValar1: Adriaan-(TV) is in Vienna right now, but hopes to be sending us some artwork he's done in about a week when he returns home.
VardaValar1: Not a thing!
VardaValar1: He keeps being referred to by other articles and it's ridiculous not to have some nice meaty articles on one of our more well-known elves. : )
Menelvagor Valar: hmm...
VardaValar1: Any further Web News?
Menelvagor Valar: Not exactly a Turgon expert, more of a Gondolin expert :)
VardaValar1: On the WoW page, the W. Hemisphere players are more or less up to date for Lothar and Uldaman.
VardaValar1: Then write about Gondolin! That would be great!
FinduilasV: Gondoline :-)
VardaValar1: Eonwe, go ahead with the Games Page news report. : )
Eonwe Valar: Thanks :}
Menelvagor Valar: Crissaegrim, Echoriath, you name it :D
Eonwe Valar: Since I started the GPMU on the 22nd of June, It will be ending on the 22nd of July.
Eonwe Valar: That happens to be next Saturday.
VardaValar1: (He also has mini-updates all year long. Don't let him rest on his laurels guys!)
Eonwe Valar: So during the week I'll be tidying up a few loose ends on the Games Page, maybe making a few last-minute adjustments, and hope to launch the next version at next week's meeting :}
Eonwe Valar: So don't miss next week's meeting :}
Eonwe Valar: And if you haven't sent me your gaming info, get it in this week :}
Eonwe Valar: And yes, I do take updates year-round, so make sure you keep your gaming info up-to-date :}
Eonwe Valar: That's it for my news :}
VardaValar1: Thank you, Eonwe! We're looking forward to seeing the all-new version with the php programming and other cool new goodies!
VardaValar1: The WoW gaming page has a little problem
VardaValar1: pardon
VardaValar1: It is maybe not so little
VardaValar1: Menelvagor is having trouble gaining access to the site
VardaValar1: We are also having trouble reaching Alatar to tell him of the problem.
Eonwe Valar: ouch
VardaValar1: Any other web news?
VardaValar1: You notice we had two planning items under Web : )
VardaValar1: We are making a call for a specific article and planning the Games page update.

VardaValar1: Gaming:
WoW Europe:
VardaValar1: Menelvagor, you had news?
Menelvagor Valar: Aye.
Menelvagor Valar: a couple of things.
Menelvagor Valar: first the small thingies.
Menelvagor Valar: I have been playing my priest a lot lately (the dwarven one, also have a Night Elf Priest), and she's progressing steadily.
Menelvagor Valar: I have been to Molten Core twice this week with semi-Pick-up-Groups and expanded my inventory with 4 epic items.
Menelvagor Valar: oh, and killed Ragnaros on both attempts.
Menelvagor Valar: My rogue is also starting up slowly again, rose from 50 to 52.
Menelvagor Valar: Did a little gaming with other members this week, Stockades with Phar (his 60 :-P) and helped out Finduilas with some messages when she needed it :)
Menelvagor Valar: And now we get to the big news.
Menelvagor Valar: I have decided to start a new Raiding Community on Argent Dawn.
Menelvagor Valar: Of course, any Valar member is available to join, with main or alts :)
VardaValar1: Thank you, Menel : )
Menelvagor Valar: so Phar, get your paladin to 60 :-D
Menelvagor Valar: that's it :)
ArPharazonV: haha
VardaValar1: What are you calling the group?
Menelvagor Valar: Blazing Phoenix.
Menelvagor Valar: or, to scare off Ninja Looters: "Burning Poo" :-P
ArPharazonV: oh dear, 2 raidgroups.. and it's already hard to keep up with one
Menelvagor Valar: and I am founder of both *grins*
FinduilasV: If nobody is going to say anything I jump quickly in
FinduilasV: not long promise
VardaValar1: I was waiting for Menel to say he was done, pardon
Menelvagor Valar: oh, I said so earlier :)
VardaValar1: Fin, go ahead
FinduilasV: got Aiyata up to lvl 18, and learned to cure poison
FinduilasV: i have a bit trouble diving but if i am working slowly my way water quests should work too
FinduilasV: Night Elven warrior happily fought himself up to lvl 10 or almost
FinduilasV: and Ibun is having fun in Stonesplinter valley
FinduilasV: Thats it :-)
VardaValar1: Thank you, Fin
VardaValar1: I will not give a report on all my and my family's and friends' characters. ;-)
VardaValar1: Eonwe, go ahead with WoW Lothar.
Eonwe Valar: Thanks :}
Eonwe Valar: This week's questing was done in the Western Plaguelands and included Eonw, Arwen, Varda, Orom, and Arathorn.
Eonwe Valar: We did All Along the Watchtowers twice, once for Arwen, and once when Varda joined. We also did A Matter of Time twice, once for Arwen, and once for Varda and Orom.
Eonwe Valar: We were then joined by Arathorn and gathered some watches for Counting Out Time to get Arcane Dampeners. We then took a crack at Araj, which was quite interesting with 5 people.
Eonwe Valar: After changing our direction of attack, we managed to get with with a bit of help from an Undead Mage. At this point, Orom and Arathorn had to go.
Eonwe Valar: Arwen, Varda, and I continued on to grab the keys to all the cauldrons in the Western Plaguelands and add some components into the cauldrons along the way.
Eonwe Valar: We found that at the last cauldron, the guards have a chance to drop Invader's Scourgestones. Once we completed the last cauldron, we took a trip back to Felstone field to wrap up a quest we found there.
Eonwe Valar: After that, we called it a night.
Eonwe Valar: And that wraps up the weekly questing report :}
VardaValar1: Thank you, Eonwe : )
VardaValar1: Having it pre-typed like that really makes it fast!
Eonwe Valar: Aye, it has made my job easier :}
VardaValar1: Uldaman is still going, the listing is up on the WoW gaming page
VardaValar1: In WoW Lothar, Eonwe is needing to go to Dire Maul West for his epic mount quest.
VardaValar1: We're looking for times and people who can help with that.
VardaValar1: I'm willing to try to come in at any time, with some wangling. Saturdays are terrible though.
VardaValar1: RFC and WC need to be attacked by Uldaman server guys.
VardaValar1: Any other games played this week besides WoW?
VardaValar1: I take it that's a no. : )
Eonwe Valar: I played LotR: volume 1 for SNES :}
Eonwe Valar: Old School goodness :}
VardaValar1: : )
Eonwe Valar: music was good for its time too :}
VardaValar1: No WoS? No Eve Online? BW? Diablo?
VardaValar1: Guild Wars?
top

VardaValar1: Tolkien:
VardaValar1: Please message topics before you're stuck with mine. : )
VardaValar1: Guys in the LotRO rp need to get together.
VardaValar1: We should be able to at least write something once a week.
VardaValar1: Our story thread is quite popular and should not be allowed to die. Let's wake it up. : )
VardaValar1: How many are here and able to take part in the discussion?
VardaValar1: please say Aye
Eonwe Valar: My last post was with us entering the Kingdom under the Mountain.
VardaValar1: Aye
Eonwe Valar: Aye
FinduilasV: Aye :
FinduilasV: if ye have an entry possibility :-)
ArPharazonV: Aye!
VardaValar1: Destiny vs Free Will in Middle-earth.
VardaValar1: What causes the loss of Free Will and what just seems to?
VardaValar1: For instance, the Song.
VardaValar1: Did that show free will or cause it to be lost?
FinduilasV: You mean at the creation of Arda?
VardaValar1: Aye
ArPharazonV: the Song did not cover everything in detail, right?
VardaValar1: Right
VardaValar1: Macro stuff. : )
ArPharazonV: then there was some free will still left, at least
ArPharazonV: to fill in the details :-)
VardaValar1: The Song itself was an expression of the free will of the Valar, with a theme by Eru.
FinduilasV: some things were only known to Eru
VardaValar1: You might say they were setting sub-themes, such as we will have plants and water and stars.
Eonwe Valar: The song I think defined the Valar and the Maiar. The Valar were those with a distinct theme of their own, while the Maiar attuned themselves to a theme or aided in the theme of a Vala.
VardaValar1: True, Finduilas.
VardaValar1: Aye, Eonwe
ArPharazonV: and within these subthemes the later inhabitants of Arda used free will to live their lives?
VardaValar1: The themes painted were very broad
VardaValar1: The humans had the ability to operate with extreme free will and change things, and even leave Arda after death.
VardaValar1: The elves had a little less freedom, I think.
ArPharazonV: humans had free will, right?
VardaValar1: Aye, Phar.
Eonwe Valar: Humans were given the gift to operate outside of the Music.
FinduilasV: I think because they were closer to the Valar as the Firstborn I suppose
ArPharazonV: does that mean they can actually counteract the Song, so to speak?
Eonwe Valar: The Music was "fate to all else"
ArPharazonV: could they prevent later portions of the Song from "coming true"?
VardaValar1: Outside is not against. : )
VardaValar1: They could affect how parts of the Song would turn out
VardaValar1: Such as affecting the fate of the elves.
VardaValar1: The biggest stopper to free will was in oaths taken.
Menelvagor Valar: but isn't that the meaning of destiny?
VardaValar1: in my opinion.
Menelvagor Valar: you affect it as well as it affects you?
VardaValar1: No. : )
FladrifV has left the room.
ArPharazonV: is it possible to sabotage your own destiny then? as human?
VardaValar1: Destiny is what will happen. You are going to have someone bring the Valar and Middle-earth back together and that's that. : ) Destiny.
Menelvagor Valar: but the way in which you do it doesn't exactly matter.
VardaValar1: The future is able to be influenced by the actions of those living.
Menelvagor Valar: but whether you will take this or that action, your destiny stands.
VardaValar1: The whole thing of living in Middle-earth seems to be a training ground for understanding for the final Song to create the next Arda correctly.
Eonwe Valar: Malbeth seemed to see two possibilites for the Reunification of the Numenorean Realms in Exile.
Menelvagor Valar: you may end up on the "wrong" side of your destiny, doing exactly opposite of what could be interpreted as your destiny.
Eonwe Valar: Arvedui becoming king, or if he didn't, many years passing until Aragorn did.
VardaValar1: The Valar could see something coming, such as the destruction of Gondolin, and try to send warnings and help. But the people could ignore the warnings and have a disaster anyway.
FinduilasV: how do ye know yer destinY i wonder?
VardaValar1: Aye, Arvedui would have been the kindest choice for the reunifiying of the Dunedain kingdoms. But it was squashed and had to wait for Aragorn.
Eonwe Valar: Both Nargothrond and Gondlin were warned. Only Turgon heeded it in any amount.
VardaValar1: Sometimes someone tells a destiny, in a prophecy or warning.
Eonwe Valar: Turin spoke against the messengers in Nargothrond if memory serves.
VardaValar1: (Wants that Turgon article.)
VardaValar1: Turgon left the city he had made by the sea and secretly made a new kingdom of Gondolin.
VardaValar1: Thus the elves had a safe place for a long time where they flourished.
VardaValar1: If he had heeded Tuor's and Voronwe's message, they could have lasted longer.
ArPharazonV: what exactly was he hoping to accomplish by remaining in Gondolin?
Menelvagor Valar: they would have evacuated Gondolin straight away.
VardaValar1: Keeping out Maeglin and Eol would have been nice too. : )
Eonwe Valar: When the warning came from Ulmo, he blocked up the the entrance to Gondlin, those he refused the counsel.
ArPharazonV: sit it out until Morgoth goes away?
ArPharazonV: wait for the Valar to come?
VardaValar1: He may not have seen clearly what he should have done instead.
VardaValar1: He had a great fort and tried to make it more secure after the warning.
VardaValar1: Just a message of "do something" is hard to follow.
VardaValar1: Might have been a good time for some new blood to make suggestions. : )
VardaValar1: What other prophecies should have been listened to?
VardaValar1: They are often hard to understand and not much help.
VardaValar1: The ones sent to the Fellowship at Helm's Deep from Galadriel were a mixed bag.
FinduilasV: Ye can say that hehe
Eonwe Valar: Turgon listened to his Counsellors, including Tuor and Maeglin, and since Meglin's Counsel was closer to his own desire, he went with that.
Eonwe Valar: Pardon the delay.
VardaValar1: Aye, easier to hear what one wants to hear.
VardaValar1: Thanks, thought that line of discussion had died and moved on. : ) Pardon the gun jump.
VardaValar1: Sometimes the ones giving counsel need to find a better way to be heard. Maybe a different approach.
VardaValar1: They didn't have to just let themselves be pushed aside.
FinduilasV: Well isnt it the way with prophecies that they arent always what one wants to hear
FinduilasV: but what one has to hear to fulfill his or her destiny
Menelvagor Valar: I must regretfully inform that I have to leave, early day for me tomorrow.
VardaValar1: The one that says beware of the sea wasn't much help. Legolas couldn't bring himself to leave the others just because he thought he'd be killed helping.
VardaValar1: Namarie, Menelvagor!
VardaValar1: Good luck with your new raid group!
FinduilasV: Namarie , Menelvagor!
ArPharazonV: Namarie!
VardaValar1: Did the prophecy mean he wasn't supposed to go? What would have changed?
VardaValar1: He would not have had the sea-longing. He would have been in a different place, maybe bringing different help.
VardaValar1: Aragorn was given prophecy too. A direction. And he took it.
FinduilasV: well if hadnt gone with the others because of that prophecy, wouldnt that have meant abandoning his destiny?
Eonwe Valar: Had Legolas not gone, Gimli would not have sailed to Valinor with him.
FinduilasV: apart from forsaking the others
VardaValar1: The prophecy warned him against going. He went against the prophecy. So is that sometimes a good thing?
Menelvagor Valar has left the room.
VardaValar1: The trick is, although a full elf, he still had complete freedom of choice whether or not to follow the prophecy.
VardaValar1: So not just humans could do that.
VardaValar1: Same as Turgon's letting the prophecy go.
Eonwe Valar: Just as the Nolder had the freedom to return to Valinor, or fall under the Doom of Mandos, aka the Prophecy of the North.
VardaValar1: Some did return to Valinor, repenting, and were received back.
Eonwe Valar: Elrond was loathe to send Merry and Pippin with the Fellowship, hoping to avoid or prevent the danger that would come to the Shire, but it turned out for the better that they did come.
VardaValar1: The Council was a very weird thing. It was not called by Elrond or anyone visible.
Eonwe Valar: So there we have an interesting example of competing forsight between Elrond and Gandalf.
Eonwe Valar: *foresight.
VardaValar1: Perhaps they were sensitized differently. Elrond had few dealings with the hobbits.
VardaValar1: Elrond was being kind too, worried for the very young Pippin.
Eonwe Valar: Strange that he would see the danger in the Shire and not in the Fellowship then, isn't it?
TH0R0NGIL: Glorfindal prophesied the fate of the WK
VardaValar1: Thanks, Finrod
VardaValar1: Which he there, Eonwe?
Eonwe Valar: He being Elrond.
Eonwe Valar: In response to your "Perhaps they were sensitized differently. Elrond had few dealings with the hobbits."
VardaValar1: Elrond feared for Pippin as a very young Hobbit walking into a confrontation with Mordor. Seems worse than being in the Shire.
VardaValar1: The Witch-king seemed to have known Glorfindel's prophecy, possibly from a different source.
Eonwe Valar: Aye, but his reason for sending him back was the warn the Shire so that they may prepare in their manner.
VardaValar1: or maybe the news got back to him. : )
VardaValar1: Aye, warning the Shire was a good idea.
Eonwe Valar: King Earnur of Gondor probably let it slip when he foolishly rode off to duel the Witch-King.
VardaValar1: I wonder if they would have listened? They felt secure.
VardaValar1: Possibly, after he was captured
ArPharazonV: could Elrond not have sent other messengers? Or would the hobbits of the Shire not pay heed to messengers of other races?
VardaValar1: Something along the lines of why o why didn't I pay attention to that prophecy? : )
ArPharazonV: "Hm, guess the prophecy's true after all. Darn."
VardaValar1: I doubt if the Shire would have listened to non-Hobbits
Eonwe Valar: Hobbits were wary of Elves and Dwarves, as well as the "Big Folk"
VardaValar1: hehe
VardaValar1: With the Shire's protectors all leaving to go with Aragorn, the Shire suddenly found itself in a new situation, all bad.
Eonwe Valar: Aye
VardaValar1: A warning to them was a good idea. But who was left to send it?
VardaValar1: Age old prophecy problem
ArPharazonV: and who could send it that they would listen?
VardaValar1: Pippin was the future Thain, and could have been one they would listen to.
VardaValar1: It was a good idea.
VardaValar1: He had to go back later with his friends and fix the problem. : )
ArPharazonV: true, it was the best shot... but whether they would have listened to such a young hobbit in their comfortable homes in the Shire anyway, who knows?
VardaValar1: Tricky. Who do you send with your prophecy? Set up special armor and send a special guide along, as for Tuor, and you still get ignored.
Eonwe Valar: Few were willing to stand up to the open aggression of Sharkey's men. I tend to think there's not much that could've been done.
VardaValar1: With time to think about it ahead, some like Farmers Maggot and Cotton might have set up better resistance.
Eonwe Valar: The Tooks had a stronghold pretty much. Pippin would've ended up sitting out the War of the Ring there.
VardaValar1: I doubt if he would have been willing to just sit, knowing his buddies were off fighting against Mordor.
VardaValar1: Funny, he may have been safer going with the Fellowship. : )
Eonwe Valar: He learned some very important lessons on that trip :}
Eonwe Valar: Don't look into round stones :}
ArPharazonV: hehe
VardaValar1: Grew up mentally and physically, learned to fight and learned strategy.
VardaValar1: hehe on the stone
VardaValar1: Gained perspective. The ruffians looked pretty puny next to what he had seen by then.
Eonwe Valar: Aye, it was likely the armor that Merry and Pippin wore when returning to the Shire that helped spur on the resistance.
Eonwe Valar: The Hobbits felt they now had a chance.
ArPharazonV: he'd been relying on Merry and his other friends all his life.. before all was over he had learned to act rather independent
VardaValar1: The confidence of the four helped a lot too. They knew what they were about.
VardaValar1: Aye, Phar
ArPharazonV: but yes, 4 hobbits riding in dressed in armor from the south would have made quite an impression
ArPharazonV: especially since 2 of them were the tallest hobbits the Shire had ever seen ;-)
VardaValar1: True : ) Very impressive
Eonwe Valar: Since old Bullroarer at least :}
top

After-meeting:
VardaValar1: We seem to have covered the topic pretty well.
VardaValar1: Would you like to choose up your games and get together?
VardaValar1: Eonwe and I are going to go to WoW Lothar. Happy hunting, guys!
FinduilasV: happy hunting i ll try to find them groupers
FinduilasV: Namarye!
ArPharazonV: I've finished farming the ingredients for my Bramblewood Boots, so I think I'll go farming some more Scourgestones...
ArPharazonV: Namarie!
VardaValar1: Namarie, and good luck fishing
FinduilasV: Namarie!
VardaValar1: Groupers are pretty near Bubber Glump or whatever his name is. : )
FinduilasV: See ye rther :Phara
FinduilasV: jo Blubber Grump
VardaValar1: heh, we've been doing a lot of scourgestones lately too.
ArPharazonV: btw, we started on another wing of Naxxramas yesterday
VardaValar1: hehe - Grump
ArPharazonV: the Deathknight wing
ArPharazonV: some mobs there give rep!
VardaValar1: Fladrif with you on that?
ArPharazonV: he's usually not online for our raids
ArPharazonV: not sure why
VardaValar1: ouch
ArPharazonV: he's in our group, though, officially
VardaValar1: Guess that's your department if you want to ask him. He probably has something else scheduled then.
ArPharazonV: I was also there with Menelvagor on the first of the Molten Core-runs he mentioned
VardaValar1: Nice : )
ArPharazonV: was good fun!
ArPharazonV: even rezzed him during the Ragnaros-fight :-)
VardaValar1: Namarie all. I have to switch comps to join Eonwe. And building floors. : )
VardaValar1: Cool
ArPharazonV: Namarie!
VardaValar1 has left the room.
ArPharazonV: but yes, some mobs in Naxxramas give Argent Dawn reputation, which is useful
Eonwe Valar: Think I'll check out to remove lag chances for WoW.
ArPharazonV: we cleared the Deathknight wing up to the first boss, and got 400 reputation... not bad, that is
ArPharazonV: oh, allright
ArPharazonV: I'll save and send then
ArPharazonV: and be on my way as well
Eonwe Valar: Aye, that is quite useful to have bguys giving Argent Dawn Rep.
Eonwe Valar: Just under 2k rep until Revered for me.
ArPharazonV: I need about 7k for exalted
Eonwe Valar: I'll probably have exhalted long before Ibother with Naxxramas though :}
ArPharazonV: so it's either instance-bosses, some Naxxramas-mobs, or Scourgestones
Eonwe Valar: Or Reapted cauldrons quests :}
Eonwe Valar: *repeated.
ArPharazonV: or that :-)
Eonwe Valar: It's helped me, plus I get the bone fragments for turnin on Light's Hope.
ArPharazonV: well, easiest way seems to be grinding Minion's Scourgestones from the WPL, when I can't get a group for the instances
Eonwe Valar: only 110 more until I have the insignias of the crusade I need for 1 item, heh.
ArPharazonV: too bad I need about... 2500 of them :-)
ArPharazonV: hehe
ArPharazonV: yeah, I went for that too, the bag was nice
Eonwe Valar: Do the cauldrons at the same time. You'll get the same amount of rep as 1 turnin for Dalson's Tears and above.
Eonwe Valar: 1 scourgestone turnin that is.
ArPharazonV: 50 rep?
ArPharazonV: 55 when human?
Eonwe Valar: the turnin itself
Eonwe Valar: or you could say 1 valor token.
Eonwe Valar: 27-28 rep.
FinduilasV has left the room.
ArPharazonV: 25 for turning in the stones, 25 more for using the token you get
ArPharazonV: so I usually see it as 50
Eonwe Valar: I get alternating between 27 and 28 for the scourgestone turnin, and abgain when I use the valor token.
ArPharazonV: you must be human then? ;-)
Eonwe Valar: *again
Eonwe Valar: yep :}
ArPharazonV: Diplomacy, eh
Eonwe Valar: Nice skill :}
ArPharazonV: 10% rep, so basically 27.5 on average
ArPharazonV: which is indeed 27-28
Eonwe Valar: yep :}
ArPharazonV: for my nightelf druid it's 25
Eonwe Valar: Well, better shut this down before WoW uses it as an excuse to lag :}
ArPharazonV: haha
Eonwe Valar: Take care :}
ArPharazonV: Namarie, Eonwe
Eonwe Valar: Have fun :}
Eonwe Valar: Sleep well :}
ArPharazonV: good luck on Azeroth!
ArPharazonV: you as well
Eonwe Valar: Thanks :}
ArPharazonV: I shall save and send now, chat seems to be a bit dead anyway
Eonwe Valar: Aye, good time to go get some gaming in :}
Eonwe Valar: Take care :}
Eonwe Valar has left the room.
