Valar Guild forum for gaming and Tolkien.

Lord of the Rings Online - Middle-earth mmo set at the time of the Fellowship's journey. Player characters deal with what is stirred up in the Fellowship's wake and that which is going on around the world while the Fellowship stealths past most of it. Book quests and instancing technology let our characters move through time with the Fellowship's journey. The Valar Guild plays on Landroval, the player-voted and therefore unofficial rp server. This is our main game.
Library of the Randirim - LotRO-based stories, art, music (including the .wmv "No Boars in Evendim" apparently by Qrath or Redsatori). "In these pages are stored the accumulated works and writings from far and wide across the Landroval server. They are brought here, as many as can be managed, to provide one place for such lore to be stored and saved over time. Please feel free to browse through at your own leisure and don't hesitate to make your own contributions. There also exists in the Library a room of various OOC Guides meant to help new players learn about RP or just introduce some new ideas to others. It also serves as a repository of Tolkien-specific lore.

World of WarCraft - fantasy mmo with massive pop references. The Valar Guild plays in the Americas on Lothar server as Alliance, Uldaman server as Horde. This is our secondary game.
