Before-meeting
(times for Ar-Pharazon in the Netherlands)

Ar-Pharazon-V (18:30:49):    "Starting bag will increase in size if you have an authenticator attached to your account" Odd choice.
Ar-Pharazon-V (18:31:08):    Also, evening all, I guess I'll start transcript here.
Ar-Pharazon-V (18:32:02):    "Players get 6 new character slots per realm." Hmm... might make that worgen druid after all.

Eonwe Valar (23:06:07):    I suppose I need to get working on getting it for moments like this where Varda will miss the meeting between now and AIM going, but if you have it and you could check the meeting channel there for me, I'd appreciate it.

Arien V (23:07:37):    okay will check it
Eonwe Valar (23:07:43):    Thanks.

Ar-Pharazon-V (23:14:37):    ..are you seeing that exclamation mark? Because the chatroom's giving me an error :P
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:14:53):    If not, *!
Eonwe Valar (23:14:54):    I'm showing a number 1 rather than an exclamation point.
Eonwe Valar (23:15:11):    :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:15:12):    Yes, I followed it up with one for a correction. Guess that didn't carry through.

Eonwe Valar (23:19:30):    Gaming:
Eonwe Valar (23:19:50):    World of Warcraft:
Eonwe Valar (23:20:42):    With Blizzcon going, we got some interesting announcements.
First is the next expansion: Battle For Azeroth. The story focuses once again on the Alliance/Horde conflict, brings in new allied races to each side, and takes us to Kul Tiras and Zandalar. Get more info in the Warcraft at Blizzcon blog and check out the Day 1 and Day 2 wrapups.
It's November, so see what's going on This Month in WoW.
This week's bonus event: World Quests.

Eonwe Valar (23:21:18):    Diablo 3:
Eonwe Valar (23:21:29):    Season 12 is coming, so get a first look.

Eonwe Valar (23:21:41):    Starcraft 2:
Eonwe Valar (23:22:04):    Also announced at Blizzcon is that Starcraft 2 goes Free to Play on November 14th. Read here for the details, then check out what else is coming.
Eonwe Valar (23:23:16):    Pretty sure last I checked I had more than the three heroes their saying will be completely free, and I didn't buy any of them, so I'm still unsure what they're doing to make sure guys like me have full access to the ones we should already have based on buying the games.
Eonwe Valar (23:23:28):    *Co-op commanders, to be clear.

Eonwe Valar (23:23:59):    Hearthstone:
Eonwe Valar (23:24:18):    The next Hearthstone expansion was announced as well: Kobolds and Catacombs.

Eonwe Valar (23:24:33):    Overwatch:
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:24:35):    Candles everywhere!
Eonwe Valar (23:24:47):    hehehe
Eonwe Valar (23:25:14):    Among the things announced at Blizzcon is a new map, Blizzard World, and a new hero, Moira.
The PTR is up.
Season 7 of Competitive Play has begun.
A new animated short is out: "Honor and Glory".

Eonwe Valar (23:25:33):    Heroes of the Storm:
Eonwe Valar (23:26:06):    There was a balance patch this week.
There's no official links up on Blizzard's official Heroes of the Storm site, but they did announce two new heroes: Hanzo from Overwatch and Alexstrasza from Warcraft.
If you're interested, you can get more info on what was discussed for Heroes of the Storm, and for all the other Blizzcon stuff, at MMO-Champion. They've got a pretty good rundown on everything.

Eonwe Valar (23:26:24):    Lord of the Rings Online:
Eonwe Valar (23:26:37):    An interview with composer Chance Thomas happened this past Thursday. [Note: music samples from Mordor.]
Eonwe Valar (23:26:48):    From Varda on the News:
Eonwe Valar (23:26:51):    Gaming / LotRO:
Hobnangians has begun.
LotRO Beacon Issue #33 is out.

Eonwe Valar (23:27:29):    Any other gaming news?
Eonwe Valar (23:27:50):    Now's a good time for Tolkien Topics if either of you have one you want to discuss.

Ar-Pharazon-V (23:28:05):    Well, nothing that probably can't be found in those blizzcon blogs, though I've been reading mmochampion myself.
Eonwe Valar (23:28:13):    Otherwise I might just throw the RP out for discussion since it's just we three.
Eonwe Valar (23:29:21):    In 3 sentences or less, anything from Blizzcon either of you two are particularly excited about? :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:30:42):    Hmmm.... well, I was going to mention Hearthstone dungeon run and classic WoW servers but I'm not that excited about either, just thought they needed mentioning...
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:31:05):    I could say the new allied races, with the new serverslots and fresh backpack ;)
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:31:46):    And yay, Jaina's back!
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:31:51):    (that's 3, right?)
Eonwe Valar (23:31:59):    Yes :}
Eonwe Valar (23:32:28):    I thought that was Jaina's mother to be honest.
Eonwe Valar (23:32:33):    *Spoiler*
Eonwe Valar (23:32:34):    --
Eonwe Valar (23:32:35):    --
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:32:51):    Jaina's mother also had a picture in the presentation, but it's Jaina herself in the features video.
Eonwe Valar (23:32:52):    She's supposed to be running one of the places in Kul TIras as I recall
Eonwe Valar (23:32:59):    Ah, ok.
Eonwe Valar (23:33:18):    I missed her in the features video, was going by the image on the official site.
Eonwe Valar (23:33:27):    --

Ar-Pharazon-V (23:33:50):    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsZ9xkVQ_Vs 1:55 or so
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:34:15):    She looks a bit aged and tired, but that was about time.
Eonwe Valar (23:34:17):    OK, guess that is her.
Eonwe Valar (23:35:08):    About the only thing I can say I'm "looking forward to" is the extra space in the main bag. I'm not sure about the expansion yet.
Arien V (23:35:26):    I was fascinated about the atmosphere in the rooms and the way the panelists spoke with each other
Arien V (23:36:11):    Blizzard seems to be a community of friends working together .. must be a cool place to work :)
Eonwe Valar (23:36:31):    I would hope so :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:36:35):    To be a fly on that wall, hm.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:37:05):    I wonder if they need someone who's okay with archives ;)
Eonwe Valar (23:37:09):    :}
Eonwe Valar (23:37:37):    https://careers.blizzard.com/en-us/ :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:37:54):    hehe
Eonwe Valar (23:37:59):    Not that I'm plugging them or anything, but if you're looking... :}
Eonwe Valar (23:38:28):    Looks like they're looking for people in lots of positions :}
Eonwe Valar (23:39:14):    Ok, if that's it for gaming,...

Eonwe Valar (23:39:35):    Tolkien:
Eonwe Valar (23:39:45):    Any comments on the RP?
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:40:01):    I should probably post there, but I'm a bit lost on what.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:40:12):    But that's nothing new.
Eonwe Valar (23:40:28):    My last post was just to set the stage, get everyone in the same room.
Eonwe Valar (23:40:42):    So it doesn't have to be anything too heavy.
Eonwe Valar (23:41:09):    I'm still fine-tuning my next post a little.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:41:34):    I'll give it a shot during the next week then.
Eonwe Valar (23:42:01):    Cool.
Eonwe Valar (23:44:12):    Anything else about the RP?
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:45:39):    Do we have plans for the immediate future? What are we hoping to reach in this meeting room?
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:45:50):    Elrond's, that is, not this chatroom ;)
Eonwe Valar (23:46:23):    The impetus to get out of Rivendell :}
Eonwe Valar (23:47:15):    My next post will lay out Auros' discoveries and set up for the goal of Angmar.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:47:49):    I'll restrict mine to a vague greeting then :)
Eonwe Valar (23:48:57):    That's fine. Elrond just kinda motioned for everyone to quietly sit down anyway :}
Eonwe Valar (23:49:27):    Let me see how I wrote that..
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:49:33):    Calion:
He sat down.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:49:34):    End post.
Eonwe Valar (23:49:49):
"When the summoned parties arrived, he motioned for them to hold their peace, then rising to take his original seat at the head of the table, one surrounded by papers and books, motioned for them to likewise take a seat."
Eonwe Valar (23:49:58):    Hehe, beautiful :}
Eonwe Valar (23:51:58):    You can elaborate a little more if you wanted, but that would pretty much be the bare minimum post :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:52:05):    Yep :)
Arien V (23:53:34):    I ve got Frali there i think
Eonwe Valar (23:53:43):    Aye.
Eonwe Valar (23:56:11):    If there's nothing else about the RP, anything from Tolkien in general?
Arien V (23:58:02):    hmmm nothing that springs to mind i fear

Eonwe Valar (23:58:52):    Ok, here's one: Name 3 spider-creatures in Ea.
Ar-Pharazon-V (23:59:40):    Ungoliant, Shelob annnnd.. Attercop?
Arien V (23:59:41):    Ungoliant. Shelob
Monday, November 6, 2017
Eonwe Valar (00:00:06):    Phar's answer works :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:00:08):    Though that third one was just a nickname or insult, I think.
Arien V (00:00:26):    hmm the mirkwood spiders didnt have names eh?
Arien V (00:00:43):    not even that *boss type* one
Eonwe Valar (00:00:44):    None we knew. We only knew what Bilbo decided to call them.
Eonwe Valar (00:01:24):    My memory is hazy on Tolkien discussing those names, but I *think* I remember something about the names Bilbo being used being old nicknames for spiders?
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:02:45):    Sounds about right, older English dialects.
Eonwe Valar (00:02:48):    On the spider genus Attercopus from WIkipedia:
Its name is taken from the English dialect word attercop ("spider"), which came from Old English attorcoppa ("poison-head"), from ator ("poison"), itself drawn from the Proto-Germanic *aitra- ("poisonous ulcer") and kopp- ("head").[5]
Eonwe Valar (00:03:43):    Since modern German kopf = "head" I can see the connection.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:04:37):    yeah, "kop" is considered a more impolite version of the Dutch word for "head".
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:04:48):    Politer would be "hoofd"
Eonwe Valar (00:05:16):    Interesting.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:05:47):    "kop" is mostly used for animals.. or in anger at someone ;)
Eonwe Valar (00:06:04):    Ah, that would explain why it would be considered impolite then :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:06:20):    I think it's used that way *because* it's considered impolite.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:06:30):    Not sure how that developed.
Eonwe Valar (00:07:07):    Would be an interesting story I'm sure :}

Ar-Pharazon-V (00:07:23):    Oh, one more WoW newsbit, apparently the next raid'll come out on the 28th of november.
Eonwe Valar (00:07:41):    About time :}
Eonwe Valar (00:08:09):    Hopefully I'll get the last piece I need to the current set LFR transmog by then.
Eonwe Valar (00:08:23):    Just need the helm, but it doesn't want to drop for me.
Eonwe Valar (00:09:06):    Gonna have to start pusihing harder for my challenge appearance for Ashbringer though.

Eonwe Valar (00:09:34):    I think we've exhausted Business and Tolkien, so I'll just go ahead and bang the gavel here :}
Eonwe Valar (00:09:38):    *bangs gavel*
top

Eonwe Valar (00:09:47):    Aftermeeting:
Eonwe Valar (00:10:31):    I'm curious what the community features are going to end up bringing, i.e. how it'll play out.
Eonwe Valar (00:11:06):    The biggest disappointment is the unavoidable fact that none of these features are cross-region.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:11:42):    They'll be cross-realm though, so it's a step in the right direction.
Arien V (00:11:47):    ooof .. speed copy pasting has come to an end :)
Eonwe Valar (00:11:56):    :}
Eonwe Valar (00:12:07):    Thanks for passing it on to Discord Arien :}
Arien V (00:12:55):    you are very welcome :)
Eonwe Valar (00:13:04):    December 15th is the last day for AIM. Did we want to try and have a send-off? Chat about stuff up until the last minute or anything like that?
Arien V (00:13:21):    That is up to you
Arien V (00:13:30):    how long did aim serve us well?
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:13:41):    Eh, might be problematic when it comes to time... I know I'll be installing Discord early December.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:13:56):    Well. Longer than WoW I think :)
Eonwe Valar (00:13:57):    Let's see. We moved over here before WoW, so probably about 14 or 15 years.
Eonwe Valar (00:14:52):    Just if anyone wanted to sit around on the 14th and say goodbye to AIM before they kick us off the servers or anything like that, I thought I'd see if anyone is game :}
Arien V (00:15:08):    Funnt :) i ve been at my work place for 15 years :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:15:10):    If I'm online, I'm in here, that's all I can promise.
Arien V (00:15:23):    Funnt even
Eonwe Valar (00:15:25):    Fair enough :}
Arien V (00:15:38):    yeah same here
Eonwe Valar (00:15:55):    Work could cause me problems as well, so wanted to gauge the interest.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:16:11):    I don't know what time the program's going down.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:16:32):    Could be midnight US for all I know ;)
Eonwe Valar (00:17:33):    Ok, the announcement says "until the morning of December 15th."
Eonwe Valar (00:17:46):    So that could be midnight, or it could be when they get to the office in the morning, heh.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:18:22):    Perhaps :)
Eonwe Valar (00:18:42):    I guess that makes it rather impractical to try and plan anything.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:19:19):    (diving into Hearthstone right now to get the last 3 classes to 51, yay)
Eonwe Valar (00:19:37):    Good luck :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:19:42):    thanks :)
Arien V (00:20:45):    good luck :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:20:48):    Paladin and priest are on the edge, so one game should be enough. Warlock might require a bit longer game, or 2.
Eonwe Valar (00:21:08):    :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:21:45):    Or simply a win, since you get bonus xp for that ;)
Eonwe Valar (00:21:46):    I'm tempted to make a joke about the new "social features" on battle.net by calling it "Blizzcord" :} But to my point, it'd be nice if at least that much was cross-region. I understand why it's not, since the app isn't even cross-region, but it would be nice :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:21:51):    Hah.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:23:34):    Eheh, won, and he's *still* not over the edge to the next level yet.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:23:40):    Game too short.
Eonwe Valar (00:23:52):    The cross-realm stuff might be nice, if we have members scattered around and all are at least on the same faction, we might be able to scrounge around into a group if there are willing participants.
Eonwe Valar (00:24:03):    That was indeed a quick game.
Eonwe Valar (00:24:57):    I'm happy for al lthe peopel who got their desired "Appear Offline" option :}
Eonwe Valar (00:25:04):    *people
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:25:34):    Too bad it's not cross-faction or I might bring my troll moonkin into the fold as my official hordy.
Eonwe Valar (00:26:26):    I'm honestly ready for cross-faction grouping at this point.
Eonwe Valar (00:27:10):    I'm ready to be done with the faction conflict, which is why I'm not sure about the story of the upcoming expansion.
Eonwe Valar (00:27:28):    I don't see how they can please both sides on this.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:27:37):    Well, we do have dark cults, old gods and Azshara to deal with eventually so hopefully they'll switch focus halfway through.
Arien V (00:28:22):    its a shame really .. would love to to cross faction rp
Arien V (00:28:43):    but with the new patch i guess that would die anyway or get more interesting :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:28:45):    I mean, the faction war in Cataclysm didn't get very far either.
Arien V (00:29:29):    but where we did have alliance characters deal with our guild .. i . e. Horde we used skype as trick ^^
Eonwe Valar (00:29:32):    If they're going to make it the theme of the expansion, they might as well go all out for that expansion, push to the edge of where it can go, *resolve* it such as it can be resolved within the life of WoW (hopefully to the satisfaction of both sides), and then build a "new world" from there.
Eonwe Valar (00:31:21):    I feel like they dropped the ball in that respect for Cataclysm. I hope this expansion can be the culmination of the faction conflict story thread and really hit it out of the park, then move on.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:32:19):    Well, you can't wipe out a faction. At most, the most conflicting agents within both factions. (hint hint Sylvanas)
Eonwe Valar (00:33:16):    Aye.
Eonwe Valar (00:33:39):    I don't want either side wiped out, of course, but I don't see how this can be satisfying for both sides.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:34:23):    We already know Anduin won't die because of that one scene in a comic...
Eonwe Valar (00:34:31):    Aye.
Arien V (00:36:47):    which one?
Eonwe Valar (00:36:48):    But Andiun isn't the problem anyway, and really all of the Alliance leaders that have grievances with the Horde have legitimate grievances. Geen lost his country and son to the Forsaken, The Draenei lost their planet, Varian had lost his father and his kingdom was burned down.
Eonwe Valar (00:36:59):    Geen = Genn
Eonwe Valar (00:38:14):    Draenei and Varian to the Orcs.
Arien V (00:38:27):    LLane .. named after Allan (afrasaabi) ~
Eonwe Valar (00:38:45):    The connection makes sense :}
Arien V (00:38:55):    :)
Eonwe Valar (00:39:02):    But I thought that was "Alex" Afrasiabi?
Eonwe Valar (00:39:12):    or is "Allan" a relative of his
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:39:12):    I can't even get his surname right.
Eonwe Valar (00:39:14):    ?
Arien V (00:39:53):    the director guy is Allan is he not?
Eonwe Valar (00:40:13):    I know there's an Alex Afrasiabi, don't know about Allan.
Eonwe Valar (00:41:45):    On the Horde side, the only two races that seem to really stir up trouble are the Orcs and the Forsaken. Everyone else is just along for the very bumpy ride.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:42:01):    I'm still a bit iffy on the blood elves.
Eonwe Valar (00:42:42):    Warlords of Draenor didn't seem to do the Orcs any favors for evidence of a "peaceful existence" prior to the demons coming along. The whole point of Draenor is that they had to fight for their very survival.
Arien V (00:42:50):    uh here is the link to the Battle of Azeroth site btw
Arien V (00:42:55):    https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/battle-for-azeroth
Eonwe Valar (00:43:05):    Aye.
Eonwe Valar (00:43:48):    Howso Phar?
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:44:16):    Ehh, don't seem trustworthy ;)
Eonwe Valar (00:46:09):    :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:46:33):    They did stir up some trouble during Pandaria.
Eonwe Valar (00:46:40):    Well, they mostly seem to get along, at least until the next big bag takes their sunwell :}
Eonwe Valar (00:46:47):    *big bad
Eonwe Valar (00:47:14):    The Sunreavers and the Divine Bell?
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:47:25):    That comes to mind, yes.
Eonwe Valar (00:48:01):    Bah, my time to go has come.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:48:19):    Aw.
Eonwe Valar (00:48:26):    Always when the conversation is interesting, hehe.
Arien V (00:48:39):    Awww :(
Eonwe Valar (00:49:01):    Take care and have fun :} I'll pop back in later tonight if anyone happens to still be up :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:49:10):    And that's all classes to 51!
Eonwe Valar (00:49:16):    Congrats Phar :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:49:19):    Thanks :)
Arien V (00:49:30):    :congrats :)
Arien V (00:49:36):    take care Eonwe
Eonwe Valar (00:49:41):    Good night both of you :}
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:49:43):    namarie!
Arien V (00:50:27):    the only one that really went a bit gaga in the Blood Elfs was uh Prince Kael ' Thas Sunstrider
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:50:38):    Ah yes :)
Arien V (00:50:40):    that guy who tried to steal Jaina from Arthats
Arien V (00:50:49):    Arthas
Arien V (00:50:55):    :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:50:58):    He did have some artful hats over the years...
Arien V (00:51:11):    he did
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:51:33):    Well, there's more to Kael's story than that, in the novel I'm reading now he was also a member of the council of six of Dalaran.
Arien V (00:52:44):    its because Kael became enthralled by one of the Lords of the Burning Legion i think .. he tried to summon one or otrher Demons to Silvermoon with the help of the sunwell which he didnt manage .. thanks to Lady Liadrin and her followers but he did manage to destroy the sunwell
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:53:53):    Yeah, he got corrupted by Kil'jaedne.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:53:56):    *en.
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:54:02):    The one we killed at the end of Tomb of Sargeras.
Arien V (00:54:18):    ah yes of course .. i forgot the name as usual :)
Arien V (00:54:31):    brain is getting a bit sleepy
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:54:44):    Read enough novels and you'll have no choice but to either remember them or get hopelessly confused ;)
Arien V (00:54:56):    hehe indeed :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:55:07):    Was reading in Tides of Darkness today and saw a name for an orc dragonrider that rang a vague bell...
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:55:39):    And sure enough it turned out to be the same orc dragonriding champion as the one in Day of the Dragon :)
Arien V (00:56:00):    who was that?
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:56:09):    Torgus.
Arien V (00:56:30):    :) dont remember that but makes sense
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:56:47):    Yep :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:57:58):    https://wow.gamepedia.com/Torgus
Ar-Pharazon-V (00:58:14):    Apparently that's the only 2 times he showed up, so I was pretty impressed with myself ;)
Arien V (00:58:41):    :)

Ar-Pharazon-V (01:03:44):    Right, gaming report!

Ar-Pharazon-V (01:04:21):    Flashgaming:
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:07:26):    http://www.onemorelevel.com/game/last_day_of_the_woods for the first game! Very nice (atmospheric!) looking platformer where you play a small spirit on a quest to find the small god of your people. Might be more to it, but that's as far as I got right now ;) Using orbs with abilities to puzzle your way across a level.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:17:23):    http://www.kongregate.com/games/bontegames/boo is the second game, basically akin to the Factory Ball series. You have a certain amount of paint buckets and masks/filters, and you have to use them in the right order to accomplish the desired result for each level. Not many options this time, so it's not too bad :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:18:03):    Oh, and the item you're painting up is a pumpkin, because it's a Halloween game!
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:19:03):    And for the third game, one that I might have linked before, but came up for the badge of the day this week, and I've always liked to the point where I even sought out the complete version of it (this is a demo).
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:19:35):    http://www.kongregate.com/games/Badim/musaic-box explore rooms, solve puzzles, get music outlines for a special music box and puzzle together the melodies :)
Arien V (01:20:00):    sounds fun :) quite literally

Ar-Pharazon-V (01:21:33):    Blizzard gaming!
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:22:14):    Hearthstone: All classes to 51 now ;) getting the first neutral cards for most of them, most of them useless, but there are a few staples when it comes to basic decks, like the 6 mana ogre.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:22:33):    *golden neutral cards, that is
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:22:55):    Onward to level 52, which will give the second version of each of the 51 ones. After that, more new ones!
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:24:05):    Brawl this week was an oldy, but tough to make a deck for. All minions cost 1 mana and have 1/1 stats. So the trick is to use cards that buff each other's stats or have other powerful effects.
Arien V (01:24:07):    :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:25:01):    Heroes of the Storm: Level 228 now! All the Hallow's End questrewards got.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:26:30):    This week's brawl was Pull Party, first introduced as a summer theme but just silly fun, with 2 teams of 5x summer-dressed Stitches have to pull enemy opponents over the pool with the Hook ability in order to get 20 kills before the other team.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:27:12):    Diablo 3: Made a small visit there, clearing out the mail from last season. New season should come up in a week or so, so I want to be ready.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:27:18):    WoW:
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:27:31):    Well, let's see...
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:28:01):    Got one new pet from the old Cata-raids, a Zephyrian Prince. Nice unique model :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:28:11):    Only need 5 or so more for the achievement.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:30:35):    Continuing with the Tomb of Sargeras heroic raiding, with more gear upgrades, including a 940 ilevel Titanforged feral BiS trinket from Kil'jaeden (through the bonus seal). Very nice! Also another trinket from another boss which is supposed to be very good but also requires moving around a bit to optimize, and a new hat from Kil'jaeden, the last basic loot I want from him, though I need to get a tier-chest before I can use it, because of setpiece bonus.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:31:36):    Hallow's End is over, did not get any new hats, so closing off with 2 out of 4. I'm sure the other 2 will come along in a future year. Or not. Luck, eh?
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:32:22):    Followed by the Day of the Dead holiday, with also 2 cosmetic items to permanently unlock, a bouquet offhand and a mask. Luckily, those were both available simply by paying a vendor ;)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:33:44):    Darkmoon Faire started again, and so did the ticket hunt for the 1000-ticket zeppelin mount for me. Ended up at 666 tickets today, interesting number :) Religious connotations aside, it's pretty much 2/3rds of the way!
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:35:11):    1/4th of the way is the Talon's Vengeance rep, after getting to honored and a few more marks after that. Honored made a new item available that also allows me to get marks in battlegrounds, with a 10 minute cooldown on the buff instead of 15. Not bad, but it's tricky to get the killing blows required. Being able to stealth helps.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:35:33):    So I've poked a few battlegrounds since getting it, and got 2 new marks from there too.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:36:10):    Falcosaur questing continuing, now at 10 out of 15 quests for the third. Will get that mount next week if all goes well, and then I'll start on the fourth and last!
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:37:47):    Started the Chromie scenario thing! Unlocked all the shrine-bosses and the 4 portals, though I've not poked the portals yet. But I did grind the Chromie reputation to maximum, and I'll let the talents unlock over the next week while Darkmoon Faire is still taking more of my time, since the last 2 talents require 2 and 5 days to complete.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:38:32):    After that's done I'll use the new talents to breeze through the portal events and hopefully, eventually, clear all 8 events in 15 minutes in one session.
Arien V (01:38:46):    good luck with that
Arien V (01:39:03):    i really hate those chromie scenarios :P
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:39:12):    I've also worked on the pets from that scenario. Still missing one, while I got the other, the bronze proto-whelp, 3 times. A bit awkward, but I'm sure the missing one will drop soon :)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:39:22):    Especially when I get double the sands of time from one of the talents ;)
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:39:46):    Oh, I like it! But I did do some research when it came to loot and rep and talents, so it's all gone pretty smoothly.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:40:54):    I also decided to look up and fight 2 lone pet battlers with daily quests that were introduced at some point during this expansion. One in Northern Barrens, one at Gnomeregan. Both give a quest reward that can contain a unique pet.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:41:21):    I already got the pet from the Gnomeregan quest, only took me about 3 days, which is the mechanical Dibbler model.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:41:42):    The other pet is supposed to be quite a bit rarer, but just gotta keep trying. It's not a difficult fight, just takes a bit of travel time.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:42:39):    And my last new pet this week is one of the pets I was missing from the Wailing Caverns challenge pet dungeon, leaving only the everliving spore, the most special one. I'm sure it'll pop up eventually!
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:44:03):    Oh, no, missing one, last sunday at the end of the meeting I also completed the Deadmines challenge mode, giving a bottle cap currency that I used to buy a little mechanical reaper/harvester pet :) I got another cap this reset, which leaves 4 more to buy the other 2 pets.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:45:39):    Also been poking more Broken Shore world quests for legionfall supplies for construction contributions, which are now at a 2/3rds of the total required to complete all 3 achievements. End is in sight, there, and the mission I sent out today for 500 supplies will definitely help with that.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:46:37):    And finally, I decided to poke this other planet called Argus!
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:47:43):    I've not gotten too far yet, but made the journey with the Vindicaar and made contact with the Argussian Reach, as well as Turalyon and Alleria. So the main introductory section seems to be over. Quite a few quests to go, though, especially if I want to unlock the Crucible before we start raiding Antorus. Not sure I'll manage that, but we'll see how far we get.
Ar-Pharazon-V (01:48:07):    And that's my report for this week!
Ar-Pharazon-V (02:50:33):    Sending transcript tomorrow, namarie :)
