Before-meeting
Ar-Pharazon-V (ArPharazonV) has entered the room.
Eonwe Valar (Eonwe Valar) has entered the room.
Eonwe Valar: Heya.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Aiya!
Eonwe Valar: 1 minute until the meeting and it's just us, heh.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Was there a mail from Varda?
Eonwe Valar: Nope, just checked.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Also, I'll poke Arien.
Eonwe Valar: We'll give it a couple more minutes, then we'll go ahead and begin.
Varda Valar (VardaValar1) has entered the room.
Ar-Pharazon-V: And Varda is actually in AIM.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Aiya! :-D
Eonwe Valar: There she is :}
Varda Valar: Aiya Phar and Eonwe :-)
Eonwe Valar: Heya :}
Varda Valar: Dis said she'd like to join us, if only in lurkage. :-)
Eonwe Valar: Was concerned for a moment it might just be me and Phar for the meeting :}
Arien V (AriehnV) has entered the room.
Varda Valar: Surprise :-)
Varda Valar: Aiya Sunshine
Arien V: Aiya all :-)
Ar-Pharazon-V: Aiya!
Arien V: how are you all?
Eonwe Valar: Heya :}
Eonwe Valar: Doing well, and you?
Ar-Pharazon-V: Busy, but slowly getting a grip on things again :-)
Varda Valar: Dis suspects she would crash with too many programs
Ar-Pharazon-V: Aw.
Varda Valar: Elladan still shows "busy", but is also in LotRO
Arien V: Doing fine :-)
top

Varda Valar: Elen sila lumenn' omentielvo!
Varda Valar: Membership:
Varda Valar: Hello from Dis, Elladan, Sauron, Fangorn, and Bilbo
Ar-Pharazon-V: Aiya all!

Varda Valar: Still having problems with the invitation for Elladan.
Ar-Pharazon-V: What program is he using again?
Ar-Pharazon-V: Is he incapable of inviting himself?
Varda Valar: We're working on it
Ar-Pharazon-V: ah
Varda Valar: sometimes when more than one invitation is out there, the streams cross
Elladan-V (Scott92027) has entered the room.
Varda Valar: Huzzah!
Eonwe Valar: There he is :}
Elladan-V: Hello!
Elladan-V (Scott92027) has left the room.
Eonwe Valar: Heya :}
Ar-Pharazon-V: Aiyaaaand he's gone again.
Varda Valar: Dis says having both LotRO and AIM lags her out. Maybe the same problem for Elladan.
Arien V: Aiya all :-)
Varda Valar: I left the game because it's distracting. :-)
Ar-Pharazon-V: See, no problem like that in WoW...
Varda Valar: I have no problem of that nature with LotRO.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Though it can be tough paying enough attention to both :-)
Varda Valar: Distracting, aye!
Arien V: yes it can role playing and meeting at the same time is a bit distracting though i have to say with the game windowed i can keep track of both
Varda Valar: Same. I use windowed
Ar-Pharazon-V: Me too. Helps with browsing as well while paying attention to the chatbox :-)
Varda Valar: In other membership news:
Eonwe Valar: "Classic housing no longer shows a VIP upkeep message."
Eonwe Valar: Her, pardon, wrong window.
Varda Valar: So many windows. :-)
Varda Valar: In other membership news:

Varda Valar: Gimli-V's father died.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Condolences.
Varda Valar: Sauron, Fangorn, and I attended the funeral with him Saturday.
Arien V: Condolences from me too
Eonwe Valar: Likewise.
Varda Valar: There were lots of people there, even though it was cold, windy, and raining. Much honor.
Varda Valar: We have other membership news of a more cheerful sort.

Varda Valar: Nob-(V)  is getting married, the date set for July 16, 2017.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Hurrah!
Varda Valar: He told about it in LotrO, then sent an email for the News page:
Varda Valar: " On October 20th, I was discussing household finances with my girlfriend of 3 years, considering merging our finances. I was at work at the time, so we were discussing this over Google Hangouts.
Varda Valar: " I realized what we were talking about, and asked her “…do you just want to make it official?” followed up with “I’m not sure if I’m joking.”
Eonwe Valar: Congrats to Nob. :}
Varda Valar: " Yes, I proposed over Google Hangouts.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Pragmatic marriages, gotta love it :-)
Varda Valar: " We’re getting married on July 16th, and I couldn’t be happier! "
Varda Valar: /endquote
Varda Valar: Nob is a longtime member and it feels almost like family getting married. :-)

Varda Valar: In more good news:
Varda Valar: Marigold-(V) is expecting a baby this coming spring!
Eonwe Valar: Congrats to Marigold :}
Ar-Pharazon-V: Congrats!

Varda Valar: This month will be crazy for most of us with Christmas incoming, and the end of the year going to the doctors before the insurance deductibles start over in January.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Busy time for the doctors.
Varda Valar: Aye.
Varda Valar: Any other membership news?
Varda Valar: I may be gone next weekend. We may be visiting with Fangorn's relatives during the meeting.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Enjoy!
Varda Valar: and that means way out of town and generally out of internet range.
Varda Valar: Thank you
Eonwe Valar: Have fun :}

Varda Valar: Web:
Varda Valar: We do have another chapter for Little Jewel's story, but she may be doing some more work on it before it goes up.
Arien V: ((congrats to all from a slowtyper :-) ))
Varda Valar: Belated works too. :-)

Varda Valar: I'm looking over what to put on the events for the Second Age page.
Varda Valar: Might not be allowed to quote verbatim all that info from the book. A lot of the idea is to use it as a link system to article in that time.
Varda Valar: The Kings page is of a similar nature, to be hooked into the Timeline.
Varda Valar: Then we can also work off of it to show families in a similar way to the Kings,
Varda Valar: and so on.
Varda Valar: The main intention of our Encyclopedia was to do articles made from original sources, so please feel free to continue to do that.
Varda Valar: We can have multiple articles on the same thing.
Varda Valar: This may make it easier to understand in one article than another. Or they emphasize different things .Or one is about someone's belt while another is about their family relationships.
Varda Valar: It all ties in, so dive in wherever you enjoy writing.
Varda Valar: It allows you to explain why or why not we should show balrogs as having wings. :-)
Varda Valar: Any interesting Tolkien-related links, etc, that you would like to share? [Note: see Tolkien section for link.]
top

Varda Valar: Gamng:
Varda Valar: Go ahead, Eonwe. :-)
Eonwe Valar: Thanks :}

Eonwe Valar: Lord of the Rings Online:
Eonwe Valar: A new patch, patch 19.1.1, is out this week.

Eonwe Valar: World of Warcraft:
Varda Valar: (LotRO: Hobnangians is going.)
Eonwe Valar: See what's going on This Month in WoW.
Eonwe Valar: Check out this week's hotfixes.
Eonwe Valar: On December 13th, Legion PvP Season 1 ends and Season 2 begins. See the announcement for more info.
Eonwe Valar: There will be a live developer Q&A on December 7th.

Eonwe Valar: Starcraft 2:
Eonwe Valar: There's a new comic out this week, starring Nova. Check out the announcement for links to a standard format or an animated version.

Eonwe Valar: Overwatch:
Eonwe Valar: Season 3 of competitive play has begun.

Eonwe Valar: Hearthstone:
Ar-Pharazon-V: Note: The Nova comic is a direct sequel/closure to the mission pack.
Eonwe Valar: Out now: the new expansion The Mean Streets of Gadgetzan.
Ar-Pharazon-V: So best to finish that before you read it.
Eonwe Valar: The announcement says it's a prequel...
Ar-Pharazon-V: *blinks* checking again
Ar-Pharazon-V: Hmm.
Eonwe Valar: From the announcement: "Today we’re unveiling a new comic entitled ‘Nova: The Keep.’ The story takes place prior to the events of Nova: Covert Ops."
Ar-Pharazon-V: Nova stars in this all-new comic, which wraps up the Covert Ops Mission Pack.
Ar-Pharazon-V: I suppose either one of them is wrong, or it's a prequel supposed to be read after the mission pack.
Eonwe Valar: I see what you're saying, on the news page, but in the article it says the above, so not clear on a first glance.

Tabletop gaming:
Arien V: on a kind of other gaming but still gaming news ^^
Arien V: gaming is gaming yes?
Ar-Pharazon-V: If it isn't, it should be :-)
Arien V: if you remember a few weeks ago i mentioned a board game group in the village a customer mentioned to me
Eonwe Valar: My gaming news is complete.
Arien V: yesterday Bruce was invited by the same guy to attend last nights session with his friends to show annd introduce to what its all about :-)
Arien V: That guy happens to be a regular in the shop where he helps out at times and mentioned it to him and they exchanged phone numbers
Arien V: so we went to our first ever board gaming session , an introduction to a game called "Infinity* which some of you might be familiar with .. i am not sure
Elladan-V (Scott92027) has entered the room.
Arien V: Aiya Elladan :-)
Ar-Pharazon-V: Aiya!
Elladan-V: Aiya :-)
Varda Valar: Welcome back :-)
Varda Valar: Arien, how did you like Infinity on your first day?
Arien V: it was cool
Arien V: we watched first a training game .. simple kill .. kill thing on a simple board then we had a shot .. literally with three models agains each other :-)
Arien V: we could pick three models each and then eliminate the other three
Arien V: i won :-) just about
Arien V: quite impressive and could be good fun doing futrure as a common regular thing
Arien V: thats my news :)#
Varda Valar: Thank you, Arien. Hope you enjoy it!
Varda Valar: We still play tabletop too. Every other Friday is Eberron with some Pathfinder DM'd by Sauron, including Gimli and myself
Varda Valar: and every other Tuesday is Dresden Files where Sauron and I are players.
Varda Valar: Anyone else a tabletop player?

Varda Valar: Other Valarites sighted this past week in LotRO:
Varda Valar:
Arien
Bregalad
Dis
Elladan
Erkenbrand
Falco
Fangorn
Gorlim
Lenwe
Marigold
Nar
Varda
Varda Valar: Anyone see other Valarites in their games?

Ar-Pharazon-V: Wanted to get into tabletop once. But I don't like to travel much and it's tough to find somewhere in the neighbourhood if you spend all your social time online ;-)
Varda Valar: We found two of our newest players online, where people post asking about nearby games. Maybe they have something like that for you.
Varda Valar: I host one of the games, gets around the problem of a place to have it. :-)

Varda Valar: In LotRO, Elladan mentioned that he'd like to see more grouping in the kin.
Elladan-V: for sure!
Varda Valar: We do have some, especially after supper when I come online, but we could do more.
Varda Valar: We have some where we just ask if anyone wants to do [fill in blank], but it would help to have times again.
Varda Valar: We used to have times, but the leaders for all three groups seem to have left, taking their players with them.
Varda Valar: Spun off from us.
Varda Valar: We can try again.
Varda Valar: We also have several channels available to help us find friends of the Valar to game with. :-)   That should help fill in the fellowships.
Varda Valar: Any suggestions for times?
Elladan-V: probably when most people would be on :-P
Varda Valar: When would you figure that would be?
Varda Valar: For us, it's usually after supper, with odd times elsewhen. How about you?
Elladan-V: Not sure. Got 'em in all different time zones
Elladan-V: yeah that's good
Varda Valar: How about your time?
Varda Valar: You seem on a bit earlier than some of us.
Elladan-V: I can be on whenever
Varda Valar: ok
Arien V: for me i am still not maxed even if now in the last 25 levels or something like that *dry*#
Varda Valar: We have lots of characters. Others also have characters that are not maxed, even mains.
Varda Valar: Some have a stack of maxed characters.
Varda Valar: We can do all sorts of material. :-)
Varda Valar: Any other suggestions, comments, for any of the games or for Tolkien topics?
Elladan-V: not from me
top

Varda Valar: Tolkien:
Varda Valar: Arien has a link for us. :-)
Arien V: yeah i came acfross a very interesting video by Blind Guardian called "Children of the Smith" , apparently a soundtrack to a new rpg
Arien V: called The Dwarves which seems to be taken from a book series
Arien V: the video is here
Arien V: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5X7MXfLxEg
Arien V: underneath the video is a link to the game homepage .. I am not even sure whether it is Tolkien related but it sounded quite Tolkienish to me listening to the lyrics :-)
Ar-Pharazon-V: Some of the game-clips do look LotRish.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Reminds me a bit of the Dwarf-goblin war.
Arien V: it seems o be yeah . i thought  It might be of interest
Ar-Pharazon-V: That elf's hairstyle looks really familiar.. :-)
Varda Valar: It sounds Tolkienesque. Children of the Smith would be the dwarves made by Aule, called Mahal by the dwarves, given life by Eru.
Varda Valar: Father to son, sounds dwarvish
Varda Valar: Lot of the look is LotROesque, aye
Arien V: indeed
Arien V: which is why i thought of you when i saw it :-)

Arien V: what else then do we know about Tolkiens dwarves?
Arien V: we know that Aule , as he made them, showed them to Manwe and was chastised for his impatiens .. Eru's children hadn't been awakened yet .. the Firstborn and neither the second
Arien V: Manwe ruled they d be sealed away again in a hall of Mandos and be awakenede at a later point
Arien V: he did that to prevent Aule from destroying them as he intended to
Varda Valar: Eru, rather than Manwe
Ar-Pharazon-V: "Look, you can keep em, just... don't show them to anyone for a while, okay? Best wait until there's other races we can all play with."
Arien V: yep pardon me
Varda Valar: The elves were intended to be the Firstborn, so the dwarves were popping up out of order, and not made by Eru, although he gave Aule's robots life, after seeing that Aule
Varda Valar: intended no malice.
Varda Valar: So they were put to sleep until a proper time for them to come out.
Varda Valar: All of the Valar were eager to see their new brothers, and Aule made his best guess at what they would be like, with the strength and skills that he liked best.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Turns out he didn't do such a bad job at predicting what they'd be like.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Even nearly got the size right.
Varda Valar: The dwarves say that after death they go back to Aule, and would work for him to help create the new Arda that would be made right.
Varda Valar: Aye, he had a fair idea.

Ar-Pharazon-V: Aule's halls must be pretty crowded.
Varda Valar: Halls of the mind? :-)   Could be infinite?
Varda Valar: or at least very expansive.
Varda Valar: Sing up some more rooms, we have incoming.
Varda Valar: Imagine how large Mandos must be?
Ar-Pharazon-V: But if they "go back to Aule"... Aule was still present in that continent, wasn't he?
Ar-Pharazon-V: And yes, that's true.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Especially if all those orcs are in there too?
Varda Valar: There wouldn't be as many dwarves right at first.
Eonwe Valar: Good thing the Valar aren't bound by a puny 3 dimensions, eh? ;}
Varda Valar: Aye, Eonwe. :-)
Ar-Pharazon-V: Ah, parallel versions of Mandos. Interesting.
Varda Valar: We never run out of room. :-)
Varda Valar: Maybe like LotRO neighborhoods? Huge neighborhoods that look alike except for individual's changes, but under many names.
Eonwe Valar: Doesn't have to be a parallel version, just in more than 3 diemnsions :}
Varda Valar: Just keep expanding the same neighborhood.
Varda Valar: Apparently they could be kept separate at first while they got over the shock and meditated. Might get to visit around later, as part of reconditioning to leave.
Ar-Pharazon-V: That's kind of what more than 3 dimensions implies to our spatial understanding, Eonwe :-)
Varda Valar: As souls, they might fit neatly in a coffee cup space. :-)
Ar-Pharazon-V: Ah, true.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Angels dancing on the head of a pin, that sort of thing.
Varda Valar: Valinor is separated out from Middle-earth now, so we really don't know how big it might be.
Varda Valar: Plus it's loaded with the sub-creators, so they could keep creating.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Why do you need more than 3 dimensions, in that case? Could dig down infinitely.
Varda Valar: Interesting notion - how big would a place full of spirits that make bodies to match what they need have to be?
Varda Valar: Last I heard, there's eleven dimensions. But Valinor doesn't have to be limited.
Varda Valar: Lucklly long-lived types like elves, and to a lesser extent, dwarves, don't have a whole lot of population compared to humans.
Varda Valar: And the humans move on out to be with Eru.
Varda Valar: so we don't have that mass of humans taking up much space, just a short time before they move on.
Varda Valar: We do know there are special regions.
Varda Valar: Vai was the ocean of Ulmo in which the ship of Arda floated, in one version. That's a lot of space!
Ar-Pharazon-V: Yeah, one drawing had the earth run down a pretty good distance.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Not as much as we're used to, but still.
Varda Valar: Fangorn-(Valar) says the size is "big enough. If it needs to be bigger, it's bigger."
Varda Valar: he says, like the marble in "Men in Black"
Varda Valar: *gavel floats over the conveyor belt next to the table, volunteering*
Varda Valar: *Bangs the gavel down, and it hits the whole landscape, covering it in beauty*
Varda Valar: *Releases the gavel and it flies back*
top

Varda Valar: After-meeting!
Ar-Pharazon-V: What kind of beauty?
Eonwe Valar: Well, a fourth dimension for example would be to us what a cube is to a square, so it would still be connected, not really "parallel". We'd be building on what we already have.
Varda Valar: Free chat about anything.
Eonwe Valar: Pardon for the late response.
Varda Valar: It's in the eye of the Beholder.
Varda Valar: Hey, free chat is also good for more Tolkien. :-)
Varda Valar: or quantuum physics if we'd rather. :-)
Ar-Pharazon-V: Depends on the way you see the connection between those two, Eonwe. Parallel does not need be separate.
Varda Valar: Or the 4th dimension could simply be time, allowing us to see movement linearly.
Eonwe Valar: Well, "parallel"  would be like 2 parallel lines: they travel alongside eachother in such a way that they do not intersect.
Varda Valar: Like branes, only perhaps a hair apart?
Ar-Pharazon-V: You could argue that different moments of time are still parallel to each other in a spatial sense, even though they are connected at every point, and in fact linear from a different angle.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Which is exactly how I see parallel dimensions along an extra direction.
Varda Valar: and then there's this handy explanation of ten dimensions:
Varda Valar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4Gotl9vRGs
Varda Valar: More or less point, connect points, join by making a branch and folding, and keep going.
Eonwe Valar: I'll have to take a look at that later. I liked the way I heard it explained in one of my CS classes, probably one of my Computer graphics or gaming design classes:
Varda Valar: Don't know how correct it is, supposed to be simplifying string theory.
Varda Valar: but it's fun.
Elladan-V: Well, folks, time to make some dinner. I am hungry!
Elladan-V: Have a great evening. As always, it was a pleasure!
Ar-Pharazon-V: Namarie!
Eonwe Valar: Start with a point. That's the 0th dimension. Take two points and join them. That's one dimension: a line. Take two lines, connect the parallel points. You now have two dimensions: a square. Take two squares, join the respective corners. You now have 3 dimensions: a cube.
Varda Valar: Namarie
Elladan-V: Namarie
Elladan-V (Scott92027) has left the room.
Eonwe Valar: Take care Elladan :}
Varda Valar: Sounds good so far.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Neat, though it depends on limited distances.
Eonwe Valar: Take two cubes, join the respective corners, and you get four dimensions.
Varda Valar: limited to how far apart points are/
Varda Valar: So time, or movement, would not be the fourth?
Ar-Pharazon-V: Time can be the fourth, if you join the cube's corners chronologically.
Eonwe Valar: Well, that depends if we're merging space and time into the concept of space-time instead of just focusing on spatial dimensions.
Varda Valar: Good point.
Ar-Pharazon-V: As in, you join the corners at one moment with the same corners at another moment.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Making time the fourth dimension.
Varda Valar: If we make the space and the time ones separate, might make it easier to work with.
Varda Valar: I'll scroll back, have to start supper.
Eonwe Valar: I actually need to head out, hehe.
Varda Valar: awww
Varda Valar: If you have an url for your dimensions, I'd be interested
Eonwe Valar: But anyway, I thought it was a pretty good illustration when I heard it.
Varda Valar: Does sound good.
Ar-Pharazon-V: It is, but it still fits the way I see parallel dimensions or the way I view time as the fourth :-)
Eonwe Valar: Fair enough, if we say in a 3-dimensional object one dimension "A" is one square and a second dimension "B" is the other square :} But there's all those intervening squares/planes in between to fill in too :}
Ar-Pharazon-V: Well, that comes down to a bit of a mix-up of how you use the word "dimension"... and i'm using it wrong. When I say parallel dimension, I mean a parallel plane, positioned relative to other planes through an extra dimension.
Ar-Pharazon-V: The dimension itself would stretch along an infinite amount of parallel planes in the same "direction", so to speak.
Eonwe Valar: For coordinates (X,Y,Z) point (1,1,0) vs (1.1.1) are on different Z planes.
Eonwe Valar: *(1,1,1)
Eonwe Valar: version crude illustration.
Eonwe Valar: *version = very
Ar-Pharazon-V: pretty much
Eonwe Valar: OK, fair enough.
Ar-Pharazon-V: I think there was a preview chapter in one of the Discworld books from a Pratchett book called the "Long Earth" or something?
Eonwe Valar: OK, I really have to call it here. Sorry, getting told it's time.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Ah, Namarie :-)
Eonwe Valar: Take care all and have fun :} Hope to see you next week :}
Ar-Pharazon-V: For the transcript then -
Eonwe Valar (Eonwe Valar) has left the room.
Arien V: confusing ^^
Arien V: but all right
Ar-Pharazon-V: The Long Earth was in this case an extra dimension, running an infinite series of parallel versions of Earth, and you have to travel through each to get to the next.
Arien V: too late for me for that all hehe
Arien V: .. well you cant have just a flat earth eh? you add height and volume .. so thats three dimensions already .. make it move and circle round you get a fourth .. thats what within the movement .. like swirls of wind .. righ .. add to that time and let the earth do that over a month and add to that movement and earth travels through space .. so thats five ^^
Ar-Pharazon-V: But the movement and all that is still part of the 3 dimensions, right?
Arien V: sort of ... well i ll travel into another one we must not forget :-)
Ar-Pharazon-V: Dreamland.. if it physically existed, perhaps ;-)
Arien V: that of the mind ... fantasy .. feeling .. dreaamland .. oh why not .. i quite like the idea of green dragons watching over us sleepers and guiding and guarding us in there and hope no nightmare lord takes it over   witrh demonic fiends and trees :-)
Ar-Pharazon-V: Hehe.
Ar-Pharazon-V: See, now that's a parallel plane.
Ar-Pharazon-V: It even has the same features as normal Azeroth, fundamentally.
Arien V: true :-)
Arien V: have you watched that Warcraft animated movie?
Arien V: whats it called .. Redemption or something like that >.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Redemption... let's see
Ar-Pharazon-V: Can't find it.
Arien V: i forgot that animated story ..
Ar-Pharazon-V: I know there's a live-action movie, which I have on dvd.
Arien V: Tales of the past :-)
Arien V: that is it :-)
Ar-Pharazon-V: Fan-made trilogy, eh? Sounds like fun.
Arien V: yup
Ar-Pharazon-V: Ugh, never play ranked Hearthstone at the start of the month. I've been stuck at rank 20 for 4 days, losing about 80% of my matches.
Arien V: :-\
Arien V: oh well about this dimension .. before i get too stuck in that film ^^#
Arien V: Namarie :-)
Ar-Pharazon-V: Namarie :-)
Arien V (AriehnV) has left the room.

Ar-Pharazon-V: And done with the last Gadgetzan quest in Hearthstone. Good time to give the gaming report :-)
Ar-Pharazon-V: Flashgames!
Ar-Pharazon-V: First up, http://www.onemorelevel.com/game/pomg Pomg is based on the old Pong game, but with a twist - you play the ball. Avoid the paddles, and you're on your way to have an adventure :-)
Varda Valar: heh
Ar-Pharazon-V: http://www.onemorelevel.com/game/g_switch_3 is the second game. Running game, one key only, and that is to switch gravity to run along the rails above you. Avoid being blocked by obstacles, running into sharp objects, collect secret orbs to unlock characters.. and see how far you get!
Ar-Pharazon-V: And there are also sections where you're split up into two copies, time your switches so neither of them is lost for the entire section.
Ar-Pharazon-V: For the last game, let's see
Ar-Pharazon-V: http://www.kongregate.com/games/nicotuason/dojo-of-death is a simple game, you're in the middle of a dojo, top-view, and you have to dash around to defeat other ninjas and survive as long as you can. Simple graphics, but can be called bloody if you wish to interpret the red pixels so :-)

Ar-Pharazon-V: Blizzard gaming!
Ar-Pharazon-V: Diablo 3: Level 29 now, hoping to be able to set some standard time free at night to at least do a rift or two. Feels like we're at least halfway through the season now, so much to catch up on.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Heroes of the Storm: Haven't decided on a warcraft assassin to replace level 10 Lunara yet. Obvious choices are Thrall, who I got for free from Blizzard not too long ago for some celebration, or Gul'dan who I need to put in a code for that's in my movie dvd.
Ar-Pharazon-V: But from some of the random brawls and such I've figured out that it's not too difficult to improv a talent set without extensive research before my first fight, and it matters even less vs the AI. So a hero I choose should be easy to learn.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Speaking of brawls, this week's was an interesting one!
Ar-Pharazon-V: 5x Nova vs 5x Nova on the Towers of Doom map, with Snipe ability modified to instant-kill, and any hero kill will remove one health from the enemy Core.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Couple with stealth (though you can still see the distortion, if you're observant, if someone moves) and decoys, it makes for an amazing game of cat and mouse (cat and cat?) whereby teams constantly support each other and act as lures for each other to take out members of the enemy team.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Add to that the towers that still occasionally spawn which you can claim (but have to unstealth) to take out more health from the enemy core, and it gets even better!
Ar-Pharazon-V: As far as brawls go, this was definitely one of the most fun I've seen.
Ar-Pharazon-V: I'd never played Nova before either, so you don't even need to be experienced with the hero to have fun.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Hearthstone:
Ar-Pharazon-V: All heroes 45! Took me quite a while because I've been losing a lot at the start of the month, and the quests I got were for classes that were already the furthest ahead. Still, they're all there now, and 7 of the 9 classes got a golden basic card this level. To make up for the amount of basic neutral cards, that was not yet the case for warrior and mage, but for all levels from here on, all 9 classes will get a new golden card.
Ar-Pharazon-V: This week's brawl lets you choose your hero, gives you a random deck full of minions, and all of those minions cast a random spell on a random target when played.
Ar-Pharazon-V: This makes it really, really random.
Ar-Pharazon-V: But still fun!
Ar-Pharazon-V: WoW:
Ar-Pharazon-V: Anniversary's over, but I think I made good use of the fun daily quest, getting a lot of timewarped badges on 3 characters.
Ar-Pharazon-V: The weekly quest, timed nicely, was timewalking in the Cataclysm expansion, which allowed the spending of them already, though all I was lacking from this one was a 3000-badge toy. Which I have now.
Ar-Pharazon-V: From here on I can start saving for the upcoming Pandaria timewalk event, and have at least 3000 badges among my characters already. So it's a good start!
Ar-Pharazon-V: New pet from Argent Tournament / Trial of the Crusader, a worm type pet from Acidmaw and Dreadscale.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Raiding went well, got a few new items, and today we cleared the Trials of Valor on normal difficulty: Odyn, Guarm and Helya. Good fun, with very interesting mechanics on the last one.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Questwise, I've continued a bit in Val'sharah, collecting all the archdruids, doing all the side-quests in the zone that I know of, and starting the second part to retrieve the Tears of Elune. So good progress!
Ar-Pharazon-V: And finally, for appearances, I've started the Burning Crusade 5-man instances, getting several items from Hellfire Ramparts, normal difficulty. Yay appearance unlocking!
Ar-Pharazon-V: And that's my report for the week, I think!
Varda Valar: Thank you, Phar :-)
Ar-Pharazon-V: Oh, forgot to mention for Hearthstone
Ar-Pharazon-V: With new expansion out, there's a few quests you get in a certain order as an introduction to the 3 Gadgetzan factions.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Did all those quests over the last few days, involving 9 wins overall, and getting a few packs for the new expansion as rewards.,
Ar-Pharazon-V: I've not really kept up with buying cards for the new expansions, but I rather like this expansion, and am hoping to make a Jade Lotus deck for my druid at least.
Ar-Pharazon-V: It's the most interesting faction in my opinion, and I hope we get to see them in WoW one day!
Ar-Pharazon-V: And that's it for me :-)
Varda Valar: Maybe some of those are tryouts before putting them in WoW?
Ar-Pharazon-V: Could be, would be nice. They'd have to really change Tanaris for it to work though.
Ar-Pharazon-V: Saving and sending transcript!
Varda Valar: Thank you
