Before-meeting
You have just entered room "valarguildmeetingplace."
LizMarr has entered the room.
LizMarr: This the right place?
ArPharazonV: Aiya!
ArPharazonV: yes, as far as I know
ArPharazonV: I don't see either Varda or Arien online, though, so I guess we'll wait a bit :-)
LizMarr: Vara wanted me to tell folks that her computer was not logging in
ArPharazonV: Ah.
ArPharazonV: Oh, there she is.
VardaValar1 has entered the room.
VardaValar1: Aiya!
ArPharazonV: Aiya!
VardaValar1: Got a new password and it worked! hah!
ArPharazonV: Great!
LizMarr: see, you were not stuck
VardaValar1: Thank you so much for coming in and helping out, Ioreth. Fantastic relief mentally.
VardaValar1: I was until the new password. :-)
VardaValar1: And aye, not stuck permanently, yay!
Iryenth has entered the room.
VardaValar1: ok, invited all I see on
VardaValar1: Aiya Gilraen!
Iryenth: Aiya
ArPharazonV: I could not find Arien on battle.net.
VardaValar1: Catch you in the middle of making supper?
VardaValar1: Thanks for trying, Phar. :-)
ArPharazonV: Aiya!
Iryenth: yeah, I will be in and out
VardaValar1: and hi to Gwaihir :-)
VardaValar1: May the supper go well!
Iryenth: thanks :-)

VardaValar1: Elen sila lumenn' omentielvo!
VardaValar1: A star shines on the hour of our meeting. : )
VardaValar1: Membership:
VardaValar1: Happy to say I'm back home at last, since leaving mid-January.
ArPharazonV: Aiyata ;-)
VardaValar1: Things are in fun chaos and we're working to get things back in shape. Bathtub in my bedroom, hole from floor to ceiling, little thingys like that. : )
ArPharazonV: Ah, the usual spring cleaning?
VardaValar1: hehe - er, right, that's it. : )
VardaValar1: Trying to put in tile
VardaValar1: Any other membership news? : )
VardaValar1: I know there is, but you guys are shy or busy. :-)
ArPharazonV: Not from me.
ArPharazonV: That I know of.
Iryenth: nothing here :-)

VardaValar1: Web:
VardaValar1: I suspect the same problem for the ftp as for AIM, probably a password change or something. I'll wrestle that one down too.
VardaValar1: Luckily Eonwe does his part separately
VardaValar1: The Games Site is up and running with news, yay!
VardaValar1: We'll pick up some of his news and an email of his in Gaming. :-)

VardaValar1: Gaming:
VardaValar1: StarCraft 2 had a patch this week: 2.1.2
VardaValar1: Here's the patch notes:
VardaValar1: http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/blog/14208414/starcraft-ii-212-patch-notes-5-20-2014
VardaValar1: Bilbo has picked up the free version of EverQuest2 and is playing there right now as an evil fairy
VardaValar1: He says it's so far a huge improvement over EverQuest1, but he'll see how it goes when he enters some of the old areas. He has hope, at least. :-)
ArPharazonV: evil fairy...
ArPharazonV: is that like a dark elf?
LizMarr: I played EQ2 for 5 years
LizMarr: no
VardaValar1: Fangorn, Sauron, and Varda gamed in StarCraftBroodWar.
VardaValar1: hehe
LizMarr: is a fairy
VardaValar1: It's an actual flying person with wings.
ArPharazonV: Elves were fairies! ..Originally.
LizMarr: a fae, but they call it something else
VardaValar1: Not if you go far enough back.
AriehnV has entered the room.
LizMarr: they don't fly, they glide
ArPharazonV: Well, I meant originally in Tolkien's work.
VardaValar1: Aiya Sunshine :-)
VardaValar1: ah ok, thanks Phar.
AriehnV: Aiya All :-)
VardaValar1: Glad you could make it!
ArPharazonV: They glide? Like flying squirrels?
ArPharazonV: Aiya Arien!
AriehnV: sorry for being late but i had to work today
VardaValar1: Well, his wings are flapping, but it does look like an upright glide when I look over at his computer.
AriehnV: late
VardaValar1: Have to make money to pay for gaming! Welcome home. :-)
AriehnV: so just came through the door in fact
VardaValar1: aww - feel free to grab a drink and snack and stuff and come on back.
VardaValar1: We're in Gaming/ non-WoW, non-LotRO
LizMarr: I was on pvp server, they changed pvp for the worse
VardaValar1: I don't remember fairies from before. Ioreth, do you remember any in EQ1?
VardaValar1: Sorry to hear the pvp got worse. It was kind of in your face even in non-PvP areas before.
LizMarr: never played that, they were all the time inII
LizMarr: they made it so they could come into the city and hit you even if you didn't hit them first
VardaValar1: I was on a server where you had to be flagged pvp to be hit by pvp. Some areas would automatically flag you, like flying over a pvp area.
AriehnV: was Everquest that free mmo years ago?
LizMarr: used to be in cities nobody could hit an alley, ever
LizMarr: that is new
VardaValar1: I'm thinking WoW. /smackhead. Can't even remember EQ1 if they did it that way.
LizMarr: um, maybe a year, but no longer
VardaValar1: EQ2 has a free version right now that Bilbo is playing in the room nearby.
LizMarr: you don't have to buy it, and one version is streaming - only installs things when you go there
LizMarr: while you play
VardaValar1: Of course there are things you don't get unless you pay, as it should be.
AriehnV: sure
LizMarr: a bunch
VardaValar1: Maybe that will help us keep our LotRO people that are free to play. : )
LizMarr: lotro is more anoying
AriehnV: i think i did try it years ago .. i cant remember much though EQ 1 that must have been
LizMarr: I've not done EQ, I installed it and that was all
VardaValar1: Phar, did you ever do any EQ? We used to have a shadow guild of Valar on Zebuxoruk server in EQ1 before that server was removed.
ArPharazonV: No, I never did EQ. WoW was my first MMO, and to date still my only subscription-MMO.
ArPharazonV: Pretty much all I know about EQ comes from a webcomic that takes place in it ;-)
VardaValar1: Sounds amusing.
LizMarr: my first wow toon was like Jan 2005
ArPharazonV: And any research I happened to do after reading said comic.
VardaValar1: WoW is plenty. : )
ArPharazonV: More of a story/adventure comic than a gag comic, and with really slow updates. But I can link it if you want.
ArPharazonV: One of the first I started reading, I think.
VardaValar1: Please do
ArPharazonV: http://www.wtfcomics.com/
VardaValar1: Phar has more non-WoW, non-LotRO news for us as well.
VardaValar1: Thanks
ArPharazonV: that my cue?
VardaValar1: Take it away, Phar!
ArPharazonV: Well, not done too many new interesting flashgames, though I'm still playing Pixelo (dang, that's a big puzzle game, though the end is in sight, with the exception of daily puzzles I'll do until I'm bored).
VardaValar1: That's a good review in itself.
ArPharazonV: I've finally gotten around to finishing the first case in My Little Investigations this week, though, so now I gotta wait until they make the second case, though they're already advertising for voice actors etc for it. So it's on the way, but it'll be a while.
ArPharazonV: And I've been doing a lot of Hearthstone!
ArPharazonV: First time to rank 16 in ranked play, and gotten all my heroes at level 17 or higher, still trying to level them equally.
ArPharazonV: And I should finish my goal of saving up for 3000 gold somewhere in the next week, so after that I'll start buying new packs again :-)
ArPharazonV: And... that's pretty much it!
VardaValar1: Thank you, Phar. :-)
VardaValar1: Any other non-WoW, non-LotRO gaming?

VardaValar1: WoW:
VardaValar1: News from Eonwe
VardaValar1: New patch 5.4.8
VardaValar1: It has two more upgrade levels for the 5.4 gear
VardaValar1: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/14167556/548-patch-notes-5-19-2014
ArPharazonV: Finally a place to spend my valor again :-)
VardaValar1: hehe
VardaValar1: and an art concept for the new accessories
VardaValar1: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/14176224/artcraft-concept-class-accessories-5-20-2014
VardaValar1: Here's news from Eonwe via email, personal WoW fun:

VardaValar1: I found myself with an opportunity to kill Garrosh on 10-man normal difficulty this week, so I took it, and now I have the Conqueror of Orgrimmar achievement and title, the Ahead of the Curve Feat of Strength, and the Kor'kron War Wolf to go with it.
VardaValar1: My total mount count is now 175. Just 25 more until I get the 200 mount achievement, at least 8 of which I could get from professions (jewelcrafting and engineering, with some heavy gold investment) and another 4-5 with some lucky drops.
VardaValar1: I've also reached Rank 8 with the Brawler's Guild.
VardaValar1: Take care and have fun at the meeting :}Eonwė
VardaValar1: /end mail

ArPharazonV: 175 eh? Not bad.
AriehnV: Aww well done Eonwe :-D congratulations
VardaValar1: Way to go, Eonwe. : )
VardaValar1: He does read the transcripts. Stuck at work during meetings, so those are a help.
ArPharazonV: I'm at... 186 now, I think, including class-only mounts which will only be counted when I log them again... the achievement's odd that way. Got my latest one this week, even! At least I think it was this week, and not the last.
VardaValar1: This is Sunday, new week to work on!
VardaValar1: Any more WoW news?
VardaValar1: I am now home with my WoW game to update and the authenticator button. Hoping to come in this week. : )
ArPharazonV: The latest mount I got! Which is Poseidus, after swimming around Vashj'ir regularly, didn't expect to find it so quickly though.
VardaValar1: What does it look like? I got a seahorse mount there.
ArPharazonV: Speed's a disappointment though.. I did not expect it to be slower than my aquatic form, which makes it all but useless except for showing off ;-)
VardaValar1: oops
ArPharazonV: Yeah, it's another seahorse mount, but this is one you can use outside Vashj'ir.
ArPharazonV: A recolor of the one you normally use in the zone.
VardaValar1: o nice! Maybe an rp or waiting around mount.
ArPharazonV: Yep, pretty much.
VardaValar1: Would have expected it to be larger.
ArPharazonV: http://www.wowhead.com/item=67151#screenshots if you want pictures
VardaValar1: Be a bit much to ride that giant turtle. : )
VardaValar1: Thanks
ArPharazonV: It's pretty big. Bigger than the seaturtle.
VardaValar1: That's a lot of pictures!
VardaValar1: Bigger than the turtle? Must have been serious shrinkage. Gnomish World-enlarger gun, maybe.
ArPharazonV: Well the seaturtle is rather smaller than the dragon turtle mounts.
ArPharazonV: I think. Still haven't caught the silly thing yet.
VardaValar1: Any more WoW news?

VardaValar1: LotRO:
VardaValar1: The game servers and services and accounts will be down for maintenance Tuesday May 27 from around 6am to 1pm Eastern.
VardaValar1: So if you can't get on, you'll know why. : )
VardaValar1: I haven't been on much this week, traveling back from Arizona and getting caught in the tiling zone.
AriehnV: thats twelve pm to seven pm for the Europeans
VardaValar1: We have Europeans all over the place, so they have different time zones too. But hopefully by now we all know how to shift to Eastern. UInfortunately, LotRO doesn't seem to know how! So thank you, Arien. : )
VardaValar1: Eastern is -5 GMT, right?
AriehnV: aye mainland time is - 6
VardaValar1: Thanks
AriehnV: uk time -5
VardaValar1: Any other LotRO news?
VardaValar1: I hope to see you in LotRO, Ioreth. : )
VardaValar1: oh, for those that don't know,
VardaValar1: Ioreth is on LotRO a great deal, enough that I asked if she would be willing to be our new alt inviter.
VardaValar1: This has been especially needed since I haven't been able to be on as much as would be helpful and our previous alt inviter is no longer able to do this for us.
LizMarr: well..... you gotta stomp my foot to get my attention
VardaValar1: She kindly consented. :-)
VardaValar1: Aye, so be sure and stomp her foot in a friendly manner. : )
ArPharazonV: Very gentle foot-stomping?
VardaValar1: She's having some eyesight problems and I think she's done amazingly well. She's also helped Orome bring in an alt. :-)
VardaValar1: No hard stiletto heals, no cleats!
karakedi25 has entered the room.
VardaValar1: Would a tell be best? /w Aiya!
VardaValar1: Aiya Indis :-)
karakedi25: aiya
LizMarr: Yup
AriehnV: Aiya Indis :-)
VardaValar1: Ok, thanks!
ArPharazonV: Aiya!
karakedi25: multitasking as usual
VardaValar1: Indis, good timing! Any LotRO news you would like to toss our way if possible?
VardaValar1: busy busy lady :-)
karakedi25: nothing new to report
VardaValar1: ok, thanks. Tuesday maintenance in the morning.
VardaValar1: Any further comments, business, suggestions about anything related to the meeting, website, gaming, or Tolkien?
VardaValar1: Tolkien's up next, please whisper topics to the chair.
top

VardaValar1: Tolkien:
VardaValar1: Arien, go ahead. : )
AriehnV: Ok i ve got some interesting news fr the guy who ran the Festival in the Shire in 2010 in North Wales where i went ..
AriehnV: I am still subscribed to his Newsletter so i get updates from him no and again and in the last it was mentioned they are opening a new gallery dedicated to Tolkien inspired collectible art gallery :-)
AriehnV: so i ll copy paste best what he wrote in the news letter:

AriehnV: we have nearly complete our new gallery/museum located near Dinas Mawddwy, North Wales which is just inside the S.E. corner of Snowdonia National Park. (We are no longer on Machynlleth High Street). Our location is a bit remote, but in a stunningly beautiful area near Cadir Idris and Aran Fawddwy mountains. Come visit to see our Tolkien books and fantasy art. Make day or weekend visiting the park. We are calling it a museum as the exhibits will also be informative and educational. Please note, all visits are by advance appointment only, to be arranged at least a week in advance. Please call or email me to set a date. We are having a grand opening party and BBQ on 7th of June. Come anytime from noon onwards, it’s free.
AriehnV: Come anytime from noon onwards, it’s free. Please RSVP so we can plan numbers. Our on-going plans are to have guest exhibitions, Tolkien and artist talks, support research as well as fantasy art workshops. Here’s a photo of the property complex which is also a 27 acre nature private nature reserve.
AriehnV: quote finish

AriehnV: his website is http://www.festivalartandbooks.com/
AriehnV: there you will find contact details i.e. mail and phone if you happen to be in the uk or in the area :-)
AriehnV: Mark else promotes Tolkien inspired young artists and has online shop of rare books and prints many Tolkien related or inspired
AriehnV: just thought i 'd let you know about it :-)
AriehnV: *insert books and prints*
AriehnV: but also letters and such
VardaValar1: Would he take things from the USA?
AriehnV: well , worth a try
VardaValar1: Don't want to drown him. : )
AriehnV: he mentions *if you are outside the uk* .. so i see not why not UK :-)
AriehnV: err US
VardaValar1: Thanks!
AriehnV: try mailing him
AriehnV: there are also other interesting links and articles on the website by the way
AriehnV: so might be worlth a peak :-)
VardaValar1: Another url Arien showed earlier shows that dragon better:
VardaValar1: http://www.festivalartandbooks.com/
VardaValar1: lol - same one
AriehnV: they designed cups with the dragon logo for the Festival in the Shire and souvernirs :-)
AriehnV: sadly i forgot to get one
VardaValar1: http://www.festivalartandbooks.com/contact.html
VardaValar1: Maybe order online?
ArPharazonV: ...funny, I don't recall the Fellowship having to deal with a dragon...
VardaValar1: Think some Bilbo hobbit had to though.
ArPharazonV: Yes, but the picture shows the fellowship :-)
VardaValar1: hmm, does look like the Fellowship.

VardaValar1: Ok, any comments on the forum rp?

VardaValar1: Also, how many of us remember our rp for the characters we game with?
ArPharazonV: ... I have a druid called Calaron, with his sister Caliona who's a hunter with a wolf called Helvy...
ArPharazonV: but I think the resemblance stops there ;-)
VardaValar1: ok, in-game, we have a general rp going.
karakedi25: Meren is Mereniel on Landy, in the Valar Guild, but she's my 2nd LM so somewhat neglected
VardaValar1: We as the player behind the characters are the spriit (fea) of a person from Tolkien's books.
AriehnV: i have never rpd i LotrO so far although i have watched rp going on
VardaValar1: Like Phar is actually Ar-Pharazon, Indis is actually the Vanyar Indis.
VardaValar1: Ioreth is really Ioreth.
karakedi25: I did a very little with Indis once in lotro, but it was quite a long time ago
VardaValar1: But we are at the end of Arda, just before the time when it will be changed out by Eru for the new Arda, sung aright.
VardaValar1: All of his children will be singing this time for making the vision as it should have been into the new earth.
VardaValar1: But to do that, we have to understand others.
ArPharazonV: Oh, like that.
LizMarr: I do too much of the RP at the Pony, non lore type
VardaValar1: So we enter avatars that feel as if they are real, and learn of the others, and pick up compassion for them.
ArPharazonV: so am I still in a cave?
VardaValar1: We also recognize the spirit behind the other avatars doing the same thing.
VardaValar1: Phar, your body is, but your spirit is out learning.
karakedi25: sorry, I've never been able to get into Pony RP. Lore-type or nothing :-)
VardaValar1: I was talking about the Valar rp. : )
VardaValar1: Not the rp others do.
VardaValar1: We are supposed to try to make sure we have a bio on our website, much as other rp outfits do, but
VardaValar1: we take our info from the actual books.
VardaValar1: This gives us instant understanding of who we each are and our old relationships to the others.
VardaValar1: This is why we can get along: Ugluk with Eomer, etc.
VardaValar1: So we may react to each other in odd ways to others, but make perfect sense to us!
VardaValar1: This also works for games where we may look like zerglings or faires or whatever. : )
VardaValar1: and why we can talk across worlds and still know each other.
ArPharazonV: Interesting setup.
VardaValar1: We can telepath anywhere between us, as we are right now and stay in character if we wish.
VardaValar1: If anyone has suggestions to fine-tune the rp, we're listening.
VardaValar1: Like when Fladrif stomps his roots on-stage here. : )
karakedi25: it would be all about how we develop our 'real' personalities through experience. For example, Indis has never left Aman, so she's learning a huge amount from being in Middle-earth.
VardaValar1: Exactly!
VardaValar1: We could make some interesting comments about what we discover from our odd point of views too.
VardaValar1: This is why we can address each other by our names like Ioreth or Arien when what we see is a Hobbit!
LizMarr: I am not a hobbit! I'm I'm an old lady
VardaValar1: This has been our take on the rp for the overall guild for a long time, but it gets lost over time. We need the occassional reminder. : )
karakedi25: Indis is an old lady too :-P
VardaValar1: Do we ever really think of ourselves as old? Injured or not well, maybe. So Ioreth might thnk of herself as a healer and familiar with Minas Tirith.
VardaValar1: An old lady of the Vanyar and one of Gondor might see old age differently. Could be entertaining.
karakedi25: Valar, Maiar, and elves are aware of the passage of much time
karakedi25: Of course. I was being facetious
LizMarr: hum, do they live as long as the king?
VardaValar1: The king lives longer than normal humans, as a Numenorean.
ArPharazonV: How about a Numenorean king?
LizMarr: not fair! <giggle>
ArPharazonV: Somewhere in between I guess.
karakedi25: I suppose Pharazon is 'living' longer than even the usual Numenorean
VardaValar1: Interesting thought!
ArPharazonV: *looks around cave* if you can call this living!
karakedi25: that's why it's in quotes
ArPharazonV: Well, it could be worse. At least the Valar installed internet.
VardaValar1: hehe - telepathic internet for checking out other places!
VardaValar1: Phar seems to have improved a lot from his hole in the ground early days.
VardaValar1: Ok, Arien needs to dip beneath the horizon into the caves below the earth for some "rest".
karakedi25: we can hope he learned something from his experiences and over the years
ArPharazonV: In a hole in the ground, lives a Numenorean...
karakedi25: a nasty cold hole, not a nice comfy one
ArPharazonV: Considering I'm rather friendlier with my fellow Arda...eans?... I'd say it's working.
karakedi25: there you go, and you'll never trust Sauron again!
VardaValar1: You folks are great. :-) There you go, Valar rp! Light-hearted or serious as we please, but usually light-hearted as one might expect from friendly spirits!
ArPharazonV: Dunno, Varda tells me Sauron's pretty friendly these days too!
karakedi25: He must be getting bored in the Void. But don't trust him.
VardaValar1: Have to watch that Sauron. He still has the muhahahaha going and calls Melkor "boss".
ArPharazonV: Hah. Now that's rp.
karakedi25: and he's good at putting on friendly--don't forget Annatar
VardaValar1: ^^
VardaValar1: He knows all about that. So one wonders, yes, we wonders.
VardaValar1: Anyway, we all need a reminder that we have rp too, now and then, and just go enjoy it.
VardaValar1: *picks up a hammer, not silvery, hmmm*
karakedi25: wham?
VardaValar1: *shiny though*
AriehnV: *heats up hamper*
VardaValar1: *swings it, wondering why it bends*
AriehnV: *heats up hammer*
VardaValar1: *splaaaat*
ArPharazonV: Did you melt it?
karakedi25: hehe, was imagining swinging a hamper
ArPharazonV: Is it.. a mercury hammer?
VardaValar1: *hot stuff goes in all directions. Shields go up*
VardaValar1: Oh, heh, that was some star stuff from the vat for making into boats.
AriehnV: *grins Indis good one* .. oh darn it .. why has the hamper run away *giggles* .. i mean haer
VardaValar1: Well, it looked like a hammer.
top

VardaValar1: After-meeting!
AriehnV: hammer
LizMarr has left the room.
VardaValar1: *picks up the hamper and puts it back in the closet*
VardaValar1: Wondering why it was out.
karakedi25: maybe sunshine had to wash some clothes?
VardaValar1: It seems to have crashed Ioreth!
VardaValar1: Could be.
VardaValar1: afk pardon
AriehnV: maybe it was to hot? scratches head*
ArPharazonV: Did you hit Ioreth by mistake?
VardaValar1: No no, not possible.
VardaValar1: *double-checks inside hamper*
karakedi25: I was going to suggest that she might be in the hamper
VardaValar1: We have really hot wash cycles.
karakedi25: she makes that happen
ArPharazonV: Better check first, then, or you might boil her!
VardaValar1: Most likely Ioreth heard someone needed a heal.
AriehnV: bah reminds me that i have to throw my uniform in the wash ah *yawns*i should anyway
VardaValar1: wash fast!
AriehnV: i think i am going to bed in fact .. and hope to get up early enough to get it done straight in the morning :-)
AriehnV: so sleep well
ArPharazonV: Namarie!
AriehnV: Namarie!
AriehnV has left the room.
ArPharazonV: A maia is never late.. she wakes up precisely when she needs to.
VardaValar1: Especially since we set our clocks by her.
ArPharazonV: Heh, good point!
karakedi25: good chatting with you all, but time to leave
karakedi25: Namarie
ArPharazonV: Namarie!
karakedi25 has left the room.
ArPharazonV: I think I'm officially terrible at playing warlock in Hearthstone.
VardaValar1: aww
VardaValar1: Good at another class?
ArPharazonV: Several others are decent. But lock's the worst.
ArPharazonV: Ah, finally won one with the warlock. Took me an hour to get a single win, while pretty much alternating priest and warlock for the daily quest.
VardaValar1: Grats!
ArPharazonV: Went down from rank 16 to 18 though, but that was to be expected with these classes :-)
VardaValar1: So the higher number is bad?
ArPharazonV: Yep. Everyone starts the ranked season at 25 by default, though you get bonus stars if you ended the previous season at a higher rank, which might start you at a better rank than 25.
VardaValar1: May you get bonus stars. :-)
ArPharazonV: You get a star by winning (and 2 stars per win if you're on a winning streak) and you lose a star by losing, every few stars you get a higher rank, and if you lose the stars you go down again.
ArPharazonV: You can't lose stars until you're rank 20, and you need rank 20 to get the card back for that season, so you could lose 73 matches and still only need like... 8 wins to rank 20, theoretically. So when you get to rank 20, you can't go down ranks either, and your minimum will be 20.
VardaValar1: o looky! An ent!
ArPharazonV: Goal would be to reach rank 1 and, if you get enough stars at rank 1, you get into a whole new league called "legend" (which would be rank 0) at which point you'll only fight other legend players. If you ever get legend rank in any season, you get a special card back for that too.
Fladrifv has entered the room.
Fladrifv: Aiya!
ArPharazonV: Also, seasons reset every month :-)
ArPharazonV: Aiya Flad!
VardaValar1: Fun
VardaValar1: Aiya Fladrif!
Fladrifv: 12 seasons in a year.... things shouldnt speed up more in this world...
ArPharazonV: Since I'm barely hanging on around rank 18 these days I won't get legend any time soon, but I'm still having fun ;-)
VardaValar1: Egad! Fun? In a game? Oh right, that's the main purpose.
Fladrifv: my alarmobot deck came to 18
ArPharazonV: Well I'm only using basic decks, so no alarmobots ;-) And as a result I shouldn't expect to get very far, though I have seen videos of someone getting to legend rank with just a basic mage deck.
Fladrifv: matter of playing peek hours I guess
Fladrifv: so that you get teamed up with decks that arrived at certain ranks with just luck
ArPharazonV: Possibly, but at that high rank it shouldn't matter much. It was a "professional" streamer though with a lot of experience.
ArPharazonV: I'm assuming luck was involved, yes :-)
Fladrifv: or just 50000 games ;-)
VardaValar1: All of the above?
ArPharazonV: Probably!
VardaValar1: *stealthily brings Flad and Phar into LotRO*
Fladrifv: arphar I think the world is changing suddenly
VardaValar1: ^^
Iryenth has left the room.
ArPharazonV: Anyway, I should be off, so saving and sending transcript.
