Eonwe Valar: Any other gaming news?
ArPharazonV: Well, we found someone in our WoW guild on Europe who showed an interest in Tolkien, so pointed her to the site... in case it's worth mentioning
ArPharazonV: and I've been doing some more games at physicsgames.net
ArPharazonV: but most of the new ones are Angry Birds clones, so it's starting to get a bit boring :P
Eonwe Valar: hehe
ArPharazonV: and that's it from me!
Eonwe Valar: Yeah, the world seems to be really into Angry Birds right now.
AriehnV: err what ?
ArPharazonV: Granted, there were a few of those around on the site before Angry Birds got popular. I've had some fun with Crush the Castle games.
ArPharazonV: But now at least half the new games are projectile/structure-bashing games.
AriehnV: additon to friday activity .. on US WoW Eowyn helped Annarwen on the Overlord Chain and get him and we drilled some Drillmaster
AriehnV: else thats it apart from the good news she got to 62 :-) carry on
Eonwe Valar: Congrats :}
Eonwe Valar: If there's no more gaming, then we can move to Tolkien if anyone has a topic they'd like to disucss, or we can move on to Aftermeeting if you all have yet to lavish your mosthers with attention and all that, hehe.
Eonwe Valar: *discuss, mothers
Eonwe Valar: So no preferred Tolkien topic then? :}
AriehnV: Mothers ??
Eonwe Valar: We could. We seem to go over it every Mother's Day though, so didn't know if you all were still interested in doing it :}
AriehnV has left the room.

Eonwe Valar: Ok, well, I guess we'll go ahead and move into Aftermeeting.
Eonwe Valar: *bangs gavel*
Eonwe Valar: Feel free to discuss Tolkien anyway :}
Glorfindel VG has entered the room.
Glorfindel VG: Aiya
AriehnV has entered the room.
AriehnV: woops sorry clicked the wrong x
AriehnV: i suppose you called aftermeeting
ArPharazonV: Aiya
ArPharazonV: And Aiyata
ArPharazonV: And yes, he called aftermeeting.
AriehnV: ah well then i suppose no chance for a guild run either with mothers day on
AriehnV: i had hoped i could tease them into Ahn Quiraj or something like that
ArPharazonV: Can still try :-)
Eonwe Valar: Sorry, was afk. Aye, I called Aftermeeting, but we can still discuss mothers in Tolkien's works if you have some particular you wanted to discuss about them.
Eonwe Valar: And aye, we can see who comes on at go time before we give up on the idea of a run today.
AriehnV: when is it in one and a bit hours ?
Eonwe Valar: A little under an hour and a half, aye.
AriehnV: oki still getting confused with us and european time ^^ but i think thats midnight my time
ArPharazonV: Could be, in most of europe it's almost midnight already :-)
AriehnV: hehe aye
VardaValar1 has entered the room.
VardaValar1: Aiya
ArPharazonV: Aiya!
Glorfindel VG: Aiya
Glorfindel VG: Happy mother's day :-)
ArPharazonV: What Glorfindel said!
VardaValar1: Yay for all the mothers in the guild and mothers of people in the guild!
VardaValar1: Is the meeting still going?
Eonwe Valar: No, we wrapped up pretty quickly.
VardaValar1: Grats!
VardaValar1: Good to see you all, here in the After-meeting. :-)
ArPharazonV: Aye, rather quiet though :-)
VardaValar1: Any rp posting?
ArPharazonV: last one when I checked earlier today, was mine
Eonwe Valar: Not from me. I'm still plotting my response.
VardaValar1: Eonwe, Galdor said he was unable to get on the forum, forgot his password and has a new email.
VardaValar1: He and Gorlim would like a thread for posting recipes. This is a popular idea with several others as well.
VardaValar1: So let's start a recipe thread area. :-)
Eonwe Valar: We have a crafting board.
VardaValar1: Real life recipes.
Eonwe Valar: Ah, gotcha.
Eonwe Valar: So they want more or less a cooking board.
ArPharazonV: What? Real life cooking recipes?
VardaValar1: Yes. :-)
VardaValar1: We have some folks who like to cook and want to swap recipes.
VardaValar1: A couple of the guys in LotRO asked for it.
Eonwe Valar: OK. It'd probably fit best as a subboard of the Community General board.
Eonwe Valar: First, about Galdor's log-in.
VardaValar1: How about Community General
VardaValar1: hehe ok.
Eonwe Valar: Does he not have access to his old e-mail?
VardaValar1: I will ask. He had to leave abruptly as he was telling me to go out with family. He said he was sending me an email so now checking.
Eonwe Valar: If he has his old e-mail still, he ought to be able to reset his password and get access to his forum account.
VardaValar1: I don't think he does, though.
VardaValar1: Typing a reply
VardaValar1: He sent a ton of recipes.
VardaValar1: He's quite a cook. :-)
Eonwe Valar: :}
VardaValar1: Our rp posts seem to have left a fair bit of room to play with the sword. :-)
ArPharazonV: I built a bit on your tracking suggestion, Varda, I hope you don't mind :-)
Eonwe Valar: Looking at the LotRO EU takeover info, I guess they are throwing all the servers into one list after all.
AriehnV: aiya Varda and aye u did all a nice job on the rp .. the sword after all was a bit of an undiscussed ingredient :-) i mean the runes
AriehnV: but yer catching nicely on
VardaValar1: It's fun watching how we all look at the sword a bit differently
VardaValar1: Galdor is home, switching comps so he can come to AIM
AriehnV: indeed btw .. Frali wont let off the sword so easily .. he might try to get it back at somepoint , silly of course but when yer under a minor Angmarion Shadow ye dont act reasonably :-)
AriehnV: if i let him get away like this its a bit too light and not up to the shadow
VardaValar1: Sounds like a Ring. :-)
AriehnV: hehe well its the same shadow or the same type

galdorandwe has entered the room.
Eonwe Valar has left the room.
galdorandwe: Aiya
AriehnV: Aiya Galdor :-)
Eonwe Valar has entered the room.
AriehnV: btw Varda and Eonwe , can i tempt you both to an excursion into the Temple of An Quiraj either tonight or next sunday ?
AriehnV: with whoever is online at the time , Elwing is here atm
VardaValar1: I'm in LotRO with Fangorn. Eowyn is popping in and out as life permits.
galdorandwe: can anyone update me on the Tolkein topic tonight?
VardaValar1: RP
VardaValar1: In After-meeting
galdorandwe: ok
VardaValar1: Got my Galdor's mixed
VardaValar1: but we did have another.

galdorandwe: can I ask a Tolkein question?
ArPharazonV: go for it
galdorandwe: In the Hobbit, when Bilbo discovered the keyhole on Durin's Day...was Thorin's arrogance at asking Bilbo to now perform his job he was recruited for just an act of hubris or more a show of leadership to the other dwarves? Have to admit, it was pretty ballsy.
ArPharazonV: Was that when he sent him in?
galdorandwe: yes
VardaValar1: When you think about it, they got a burglar to help get the treasure. So you can see Thorin's point of view.
galdorandwe: But...Bilbo had bailed them out of jams twice before, thus proving his quality and making a case for his skill. He may have mentioned it in the book at that point.
Eonwe Valar: Those were beside the original bargain though.
VardaValar1: Not saying Thorin was being perfect here. :-)
VardaValar1: but he had a leg to stand on.
ArPharazonV: Just because Bilbo chose to do those other things, didn't excuse him from the original deal ;-)
galdorandwe: Bilbo was pretty doggone badass of you take into considerration what he came from and what he did. I'm just sayin'.
galdorandwe: Perhaps moreso than Frodo in some respects.
VardaValar1: He had a very different job. And he was quite a hobbit!
galdorandwe: certainly resourceful and chancey.
ArPharazonV: And lucky.

VardaValar1: Forum / Community / Community General / thread: Real life food recipes to enjoy here!
VardaValar1: Post at will!
AriehnV: hehe i ll tell Helm who is a hobby cook as well as gardener and historian .. maybe that gets him active on the board

AriehnV: ah well another day to try for a guild run then .. just not sure when i ve got a late start on a monday the next time
AriehnV: has the advantage i get to bed earlier :-)
AriehnV: anyhows , have fun in your activities, festivities and undertakings ... sleep well
AriehnV: Namarie!
ArPharazonV: Namarie!
VardaValar1: Namarie!
AriehnV has left the room.
galdorandwe: ok..I'm logging off of the chat...perhaps I'll see some of you in the gane later tonight.
ArPharazonV: Namarie!
VardaValar1: namarie
galdorandwe: *game'
ArPharazonV: How'd it go with your email?
galdorandwe has left the room.
ArPharazonV: *grin* asked too late
Fladrifv: namarie
Fladrifv: hope soon to contribute more to these meetings sighs
fladrifv has left the room.
VardaValar1: Giving him a new account name and display name
VardaValar1: Great to see Flad back again
ArPharazonV: It's not possible to reset his password manually by a moderator or something?
VardaValar1: It's handled
VardaValar1: He can post now. :-)
Eonwe Valar: It was a different problem from that.
Eonwe Valar: He needed an account is what it turned out to be.
Eonwe Valar has left the room.
Eonwe Valar has entered the room.
ArPharazonV: saving and sending transcript!
