Before-meeting:
You have just entered room "valarguildmeetingplace."
VardaValar1 has entered the room.
VardaValar1: Aiya. Mostly afk in LotRO, pretty early yet.
ArPharazonV: Aiya. We stopped the raid early, had some experience on Ultraxion, and I did a heroic after... now I'm just browsing :-)
VardaValar1: Fun :-)
Glorfindel VG has entered the room.
VardaValar1: Arien's here in LotRO too
Glorfindel VG has left the room.
Glorfindel VG has entered the room.

VardaValar1: Gaming:
VardaValar1: Did anyone play anything besides WoW and LotRO this week?
VardaValar1: Sauron and Bilbo have been playing DC Universe and StarCraft 2.
ArPharazonV: Couple of flashgames. Were some pretty long ones among them, though they got boring after a while.
VardaValar1: oops
ArPharazonV: I'll give you a fun puzzle game though.
VardaValar1: That would be cool. :-)
ArPharazonV: http://armorgames.com/play/12541/monster-bark original site
Eonwe Valar has entered the room.
VardaValar1: Aiya Eonwe :-)
Eonwe Valar: Heya.
VardaValar1: So, Bark the dog will not rest until he collects all his stuff back from the thieves.
ArPharazonV: you start with one character, have to free the others, and then puzzle your way through each level. Every character has unique properties that you have to use to solve each level.
ArPharazonV: Yeah, pretty much :-)
VardaValar1: That does sound like it could be fun.
ArPharazonV: Very nicely made. Graphics and atmosphere are quite good.
ArPharazonV: Oh, right, that was it from me. Nothing further, just try it!
VardaValar1: Thanks, sounds like a good tip.

VardaValar1: Eonwe, did you have a WoW report handy?
Eonwe Valar: Sure, one sec.
VardaValar1: We could give him two seconds?
Eonwe Valar: Sunday Run:
ArPharazonV: Maybe three, if we're generous.
Eonwe Valar: Participants: Eonwe, Elwing, Varda, Fangorn, Sauron, EowynAs we only had 5 on going on the run (Eonwe, Elwing, Varda, Fangorn, and Sauron), we decided to do a random Cataclysm heroic, and ended up in Lost City of the Tolvir. We fought through and claimed victory, scoring more experience for the guild.Afterwards, Sauron called it a night and Eowyn joined us. We decided to try one more random heroic and ended up in Halls of Origination. Unfortunately, we only made it through the first boss before everyone needed to call it a night.
Eonwe Valar: Friday Run:
Eonwe Valar: Not enough showed, so the run was cancelled. Eonwe Valar: Thus concludes my report :}
VardaValar1: Eowyn went into surgery the day after that run in the morning.
VardaValar1: Thanks, Eonwe. :-)
VardaValar1: Any comments from anyone on the new stuff in WoW?
VardaValar1: Adjusting to it ok?
ArPharazonV: Hmm, doing fine. Addons still need a bit of work though, and some fights like Rhyolith and Ultraxion send my frames per second plummeting. But that might just be an addon.
VardaValar1: Thanks Phar : )
VardaValar1: LotRO:
ArPharazonV: The first renewed Darkmoon Faire is over, I hope you all did your stuff for this month :P
ArPharazonV: allright, continue
VardaValar1: pardon!

VardaValar1: LotRO:
VardaValar1: New stuff coming there too.
VardaValar1: Monday we will have an update for the Armies of Isengard.
VardaValar1: Some changes are coming for our hard-won Superior 4th Marks, so we might want to hang onto them. Going to turn into Seals and whatnot.
VardaValar1: Monday We ran a level 75 Great Barrows: Thadur's wing, and got one half of the key for Nellas.
VardaValar1: We'd like to get her the other half in the next wing when her computer is repaired and she's back from such things as weddings and papers that must be completed.
VardaValar1: School/Library three-mans went on afterwards.
VardaValar1: Wednesday we skipped doing anything as a 6-man, although lots happened for questing and deeding. People are getting ready for the update.
VardaValar1: Saturday was a good 12-man set of three runs.
VardaValar1: That's the last one for maybe the next three Saturdays in the normal way, since we have a number of people who need to be away.
VardaValar1: Miriel's birthday is next Saturday and she and Irmo will be going someplace nice for supper, about the time of the raid. Have fun you two!
VardaValar1: The three runs were all 12-man Valar groups, no outside folk needed to fill in.
VardaValar1: We did Breaching the Necromancer's Gate, Attack at Dawn (as a fun change!), and Battle in the Tower. All went well, completing them. Indis got the Worn Symbol of Celebrimbor during Attack at Dawn.
VardaValar1: That completes my LotRO report. Did anyone wish to add to that?
VardaValar1: Tolkien:
VardaValar1: We have a thread on the forum to vote for the title of the upcoming sequel and/or make suggestions.
VardaValar1: Arien posted her vote and suggestions.
VardaValar1: For a topic, what kind of lights were used for Middle-earth (including Valinor)?
AriehnV: Miriel help[ed me on Tuesday with a difficult bookquest that made Angmar a wee bit easier :-)
VardaValar1: That was kind. : )
AriehnV: so i could resist the statues for a bit
VardaValar1: Book 6, chapter 6, sounds like. Required to get anywhere in East Angmar.
AriehnV: that was really good of her aye :-) , not to mention Andwe who just rushed me through a few elites and made it possible to get to 45 so fast :-)
VardaValar1: That was a batch of Angmar quests, right?
VardaValar1: Getting you all set for the RP. ;-)
AriehnV: yup Dun som or other and Duvaillin
AriehnV: the elite angmarim quests
AriehnV: i wonder whether there really would be some hillmen free from corruption left in angmar but .. why not?
VardaValar1: There are some fairly free of it in Aughaire.
AriehnV: yup and a couple in Dunvaillin actually
AriehnV: or three
VardaValar1: Donnvail?
AriehnV: Donvail aye sigh me and place names :-D , gaelificied
AriehnV: anyway that was my add on to the lotro report so feel free to carry on :-)
VardaValar1: Thanks
top

VardaValar1: Repeating the Tolkien topic:
VardaValar1: What kind of lights were used for Middle-earth (including Valinor)?
VardaValar1: to light most of the world
AriehnV: sun , stars , moon and first the two trees
ArPharazonV: Two lamps to begin with :-)
AriehnV: oh yeah the lamps before the trees :-)
VardaValar1: Any problems setting up the lighting?
AriehnV: oooh if i remember right one Melkor didnt like light at all or rather coveted it for himself
ArPharazonV: So he offered them some nice pillars for them to stand on
ArPharazonV: But they were made of ice!
ArPharazonV: I think. Might not have been his doing.
AriehnV: but as source of power ... , .. he hired a wicked spider to destroy the two lamps and fed her all the light ... and the light turned into darkness as she consumed it (Ungolianth )
VardaValar1: You mean trees?
AriehnV: that was the trees again ooh timeline mix up
AriehnV: my bad
Eonwe Valar: The ice pillars were his doing, Ungoliant consumed the Light of the Two Trees.
Eonwe Valar: Heh, Arien corrected herself as I was typing, pardon :}
AriehnV: oki do
AriehnV: bit too much timeline hopping lately ^^
AriehnV: hmmm the two lamps .. were they put on vessels or carriages no?
AriehnV: with two of the maiar to carry each?
AriehnV: boats rather
Eonwe Valar: No, you're thinking the Sun and Moon.
ArPharazonV: No, those were the sun and the moon, fruits from the trees
AriehnV: .. ok
AriehnV: i ll be silent and leave the talking to the true wells of wisdom :-)
VardaValar1: If only those birds sang who sang the best, the woods would be nearly silent.
Eonwe Valar: For the record, the ice pillars thing was in the HoME, not in the Sil :} I'd almost forgot that myself until I flipped back into the Sil and looked :}
Eonwe Valar: In the Sil, he just breaks down the pillars.
ArPharazonV: Heh, so boring ;-)
VardaValar1: In the Sil, the Valar are a bit better in a number of ways.
VardaValar1: Yavanna needed light for her seeds, so Aule built two lamps. Varda filled them, Manwe hallowed them. The Valar set them on high pillars.
VardaValar1: They were on the north and south of Middle-earth so that all was changeless day. That caused problems, but they were still learning. : )
VardaValar1: The light was really amazing where they overlapped.
VardaValar1: The light in the north was so strong that it hid Melkor's shadow when he returned and built Angband.
VardaValar1: He attacked the pillars in the war that he brought.
VardaValar1: Lands were broken, seas were in tumult.
VardaValar1: The lamplight poured out destroying flame.
VardaValar1: Thus the first designs and symmetry built by the Valar were destroyed and never returned.
VardaValar1: Sounds like the same problem foreshadowed in the song?
VardaValar1: The Valar wanted to go after Melkor right then, but they were busy restraining the tumults of the Earth, and feared to tear at the earth again when they had no idea where the Children were hidden in it.
VardaValar1: End of the Spring of Arda.
VardaValar1: The dwelling of the Valar at Almaren was destroyed.
VardaValar1: That's when they moved to the land of Aman.
VardaValar1: That was where the Trees were grown.
Eonwe Valar: Aye.
VardaValar1: Any problems with that system of lighting?
ArPharazonV: Well, it was kinda confined to Aman, no shining over mountains :-)
VardaValar1: Aye! The main area was left in twilight.
VardaValar1: Another problem was that the Valar tended to stay mostly in Aman then.
ArPharazonV: Why go out in the dark when you've got two trees in your home?
VardaValar1: Melkor liked the darkness and went abroad, spreading his sort of things.
VardaValar1: But Arda was not forgotten. Manwe still watched from the mountaintop and sent out spirits in the shape of hawks and eagles.
VardaValar1: This is in the Sil, "Of the Beginning of Days"
VardaValar1: Ulmo was still in the waters, not forsaking Middle-earth.
VardaValar1: Yavanna was concerned for what she had tried to grow and went at times into Middle-earth healing the hurts of Morgoth.
VardaValar1: Pardon, his name was still Melkor at that time. (We all have problems with timelines, Arien!)
VardaValar1: Orome rode out hunting there.
VardaValar1: The discussion of lights is taken up again in "Of the Coming of the Elves..."
VardaValar1: Would anyone else like to take up the tale here? : )
ArPharazonV: Of the lights? Let me collect the book then
ArPharazonV: Let's see... the hour of the coming of the Firstborn was soon coming, and with Middle-Earth in darkness, the Valar knew the Elves would look to the stars, first. So Varda set new, brighter stars in the sky, including the Valacirca, the sickle of the Valar.
ArPharazonV: Even as she finished her labours, the Elves awoke.
ArPharazonV: Where do we continue from here?
AriehnV has left the room.
AriehnV has entered the room.
AriehnV: oops sorry for that , the power just flickered on and off
VardaValar1: heh, and so we see the need for light. ^^
VardaValar1: In the absence of light before the stars were strengthened, Melkor had many evil things walking abroad. He collected the demons that had joined him in the first days in Utumno, named Balrogs in later days.
VardaValar1: (This is where I got the idea that they might have been what attacked Tilion earlier, back when they could still fly.)
VardaValar1: In that dark time, Melkor bred many other monsters of many types.
VardaValar1: His realm spread from the north into the south and that's when he made an armory and fortress, the fortress called Angband and run by Sauron.
VardaValar1: The Valar wanted to wage war, but then the part Pharazon was telling happened. The Valar didn't want to accidentally destroy the Children, knew the Firstborn were to arrive in darkness, and thus the new and brightened stars were needed.
VardaValar1: We know we aren't living just under stars now. How did we get the Moon and Sun?
VardaValar1: (It was mentioned earlier in your discussion.)
VardaValar1: The elves were eager to see the light of Aman. This same light would be the later source of the Moon and Sun how?
ArPharazonV: A long story, that is. Of war, and captivity, fake remorse. A spider of unknown origin, and the death of the Trees.
VardaValar1: That was a wonderful and concise summary. : )
ArPharazonV: A bold escape followed by a large army of Oathtakers, while those that stayed behind used the fruits of the two trees to light the sky behind the pursuers.
AriehnV: hmm the Valar decided that the children of illuvatar needed some light for their protection
AriehnV: and the stars .. while wonder- and powerful were not quite enough
VardaValar1: "the orcs that multiplied in the darkness of the earth grew strong and fell" "Of the Sindar"
AriehnV: .. if i remember right ... was it Yavanne and one other who found two seedlings of the trees
AriehnV: a silver and a golden one
ArPharazonV: I suppose you could say their search was fruitful ;-)
VardaValar1: hehe
VardaValar1: (The orc comment was after the Trees went dark. So they were around before we hear of Men.)
ArPharazonV: Makes sense. There was already a war between Elves and Orcs before the Noldor arrived, and only at the rising of the Sun did Men appear.
VardaValar1: (It's after the Sindar had fun and games with Orcs that Feanor arrives.)
VardaValar1: Right
VardaValar1: This answers a question that's been brought up before.
VardaValar1: In "Of the Sun and the Moon" we get details about how they were made.
You have just entered room "valarguildmeetingplace."
VardaValar1: Aule and his people made vessels to hold them and preserve their radiance.
VardaValar1: uh oh
ArPharazonV: VardaValar1: In "Of the Sun and the Moon" we get details about how they were made.
ArPharazonV: That's the last thing I read.
ArPharazonV: Is it a lot to copy? :-)
VardaValar1: I just saved it to Notepad.
Eonwe Valar: Whispered it to you :}
VardaValar1: all the above
ArPharazonV: yeah, thanks, but that won't help my transcript much.
ArPharazonV: Guess it can't be copied in here?
VardaValar1: I'll quilt it in
ArPharazonV: If you must.
VardaValar1: or Eonwe can put it in here. : )

Eonwe Valar: VardaValar1 (5:27:04 PM CST): Neat little comments. Manwe says hopeful words concerning the Noldor and Feanor, that "even as Eru spoke to us shall beauty not yet conceived be brought into Ea, and evil yet be good to have been."
VardaValar1 (5:27:37 PM): "But Mandos said, 'And yet shall remain evil. To me shall Feanor come soon.'"
VardaValar1 (5:28:25 PM): Ok, the last fruits of the trees are given after the watering of Nienna's tears and the singing of Yavanna.
VardaValar1 (5:28:53 PM): Telperion made one last flower of silver, Laurelin a single fruit of gold.
VardaValar1 (5:29:25 PM): Yavanna took them and the trees died, yet still stand as memorial of vanished joy.
VardaValar1 (5:30:04 PM): Yavanna gave them to Aule, Manwe hallowed them.

VardaValar1: Thanks Eonwe :-)
ArPharazonV: Thanks :-)
Eonwe Valar: MP
galdorandwe has entered the room.
galdorandwe: Aiya...better late than never :-)
ArPharazonV: Aiya
galdorandwe: Just finished dinner :-)
VardaValar1: Aule and his people made vessels to put hold them and preserve their radiance.
VardaValar1: Aiya Galdor :-)
VardaValar1: The vessels of the Sun and Moon were given to Varda to become lamps of heaven. They would outshine the stars because they were nearer to Arda.
ArPharazonV: Did the White Trees actually descend from Telperion, an earlier born flower, or just made in its image?
AriehnV: aiya Galdor :-)
VardaValar1: She gave them power to voyage.
VardaValar1: Arien was named to steer the vessel of the Sun.
galdorandwe: I thought the later trees decended from the fruit taken from the tree and planted on Tol Eressa (Turin Teleperon or something like that)...I could be wrong :-)
VardaValar1: Tilion was to steer the moon.
VardaValar1: ok, the chat seems to have changed from light to the descendants of the Trees. Carry on. : )
ArPharazonV: Sorry, just a sidequestion I thought of when you talked about the dying of the trees and the last flower
ArPharazonV: I figured it'd be swiftly answered and then we could continue with the light :-)
VardaValar1: You're right
galdorandwe: So you were talking about the towers...are you speaking of the ones Melkor made of ice that eventually fell?
VardaValar1: The moon rose as Fingolfin came off the Helcaraxe
galdorandwe: I could be confusing that with Lost Tales stories
VardaValar1: That was in the Histories, Galdor. Not the Sil. Melkor had to tear them down in a war.
galdorandwe: Sorry, I read the HoME before rereading the Sil after 20 years
VardaValar1: no worries. It was an interesting story. The Sil let the Valar be a bit, er, brighter.
ArPharazonV: That's okay, the Silmarillion was ultimately just a summary of the larger stories in the HoME, after all.
VardaValar1: o the pun
ArPharazonV: There's a bunch of stuff in the HoME that's not contradicted, only contracted, which makes for a lot of interesting details :-)
VardaValar1: It was a summary and an attempt to make it as it was supposed to be after the many versions.
VardaValar1: Aye, Phar
galdorandwe: There are parts fo the Sil that say "the complete tale is told elsewhere..." which leads me to believe that atleast in part, some of what's written in Lost Tales 1 & 2, UT and HoME are accurate :-)( Could I possibly be more noncommital with a statement :-)
VardaValar1: After Tilion went by 7 times, Anar came up as Fingolfin entered Hithlim
VardaValar1: ok, carry on. : )
galdorandwe: Is that when Melkor got nervous because the moonlight actually lit up the sky?
VardaValar1: Melkor was afraid when the Moonlght came and it was worse when the Sun came up. Hiding looked pretty good right then.
galdorandwe: ah
VardaValar1: We seem to have finished the original topic as far as we're going to this night.
VardaValar1: Shall we call After-meeting and let you get a few minutes of sleep before daybreak? )
VardaValar1: *gavel rises in the air, glowing*
VardaValar1: *gavel taps down lightly on the mithril mount*
VardaValar1: *tinnnnng*
top

VardaValar1: After-meeting!
Menelvagor Valar has entered the room.
Menelvagor Valar: Aiya!
galdorandwe: LoTRO question: Do I need to buy the Mithril Edition or do I already have everyting with VIP?
ArPharazonV: Aiya
VardaValar1: I guess it has doo-dads with it?
Eonwe Valar: Heya Menel.
Eonwe Valar: Unless you want the horse and the Turbgine points, you have access to all the regular content you'd get with the Mithril Edition already as a VIP, so far as I understand it, Galdor.
VardaValar1: The Monday update is part of what we already bought.
ArPharazonV: Horse, eh? So totally worth it.
galdorandwe: OK...thanks..I have the horse already and the uniform...I bought RoI in the summer
VardaValar1: <---- bought the big pre-order to get all three horses. Nutcase.
AriehnV: hehe
AriehnV: aiya Menel
Eonwe Valar: Afk for a moment, then I'll see those heading to WoW in WoW.
VardaValar1: Heya Menel :-)
Menelvagor Valar: Hey :-)
Menelvagor Valar: How's things going over here? :-D
AriehnV: over here? pretty mild but still coldish .. we had a bit of a hurricane on thursday in scotland
AriehnV: but skye got off quite lightly as usual
Menelvagor Valar: always good :-)
Menelvagor Valar: How's EVE?
AriehnV: we had a few powercuts in the store and a bit of cardbord and cages all over the place
AriehnV: roof from trolley stand in the carpark nearly got blown off but they decided to remove it completely as precaution
AriehnV: and Eve .. ah well i decided to quit it again , because i paid it with my Credit Card and i want to get a bit less interest on that .. pfft , decided also that i didnt quite spend enough time since we didnt do that much together anymore in the corp
Menelvagor Valar: I can understand that :-)
AriehnV: i think people got annoyed with being randomly wardecked and then they they were banned from doing anything
AriehnV: and it got a bit boring ^^
AriehnV: i hear tho from bruce that three new ships got released
AriehnV: or five altogether i think
AriehnV: three battlecruisers and something else
Menelvagor Valar: new ships aren't going to be much good if you cannot a) fly them, or b) afford to buy them.
AriehnV: oh yes Phosis T Kar founded a new corporoation called Famous Monsters , you maybe remember him from your first outing with him ^^
AriehnV: tiers 3 i think but aye i agree
AriehnV: hehe and to be honest i didnt quite get the thrill out of eve and i never caught anyone online when i was on .. so decided to call it for maybe good i dont know .
Menelvagor Valar: I really should cancel my subscription as well... haven't been online in at least as much time as I quit WoW.
AriehnV: how are you , buddy :-)?
VardaValar1: Have any of you seen Pallando? He was back in rl soldiering last I heard.
ArPharazonV: Don't remember seeing him in AIM recently.
Menelvagor Valar: Doing good, busy with social stuff, friends, frat, school, actually studying... which is refreshing :-D
ArPharazonV: Any idea where he's soldiering?
VardaValar1: I have no excuse not to remember.
VardaValar1: He told me in chat.
ArPharazonV: And yet, you don't? :-)
Menelvagor Valar: forgetting anything at all is human. No one blames you.
ArPharazonV: Very much that.
VardaValar1: It was either Iran or Afghanistan. oboy
VardaValar1: er Iraq
VardaValar1: *waves Jedi hand* "you never saw me'
Menelvagor Valar: I must disappoint you, someone else tried to do the jedi mind trick on me, didn't work either.
Menelvagor Valar: not entirely anyways :-D
Menelvagor Valar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgAlQuqzl8o
VardaValar1: The piano guys? :-)
ArPharazonV: oh, that sounds good
Menelvagor Valar: cello :-)
Menelvagor Valar: might be by the piano guys though :-D
VardaValar1: Aye, they are called the piano guys. One guy played the dark and light Jedi on cello.
VardaValar1: It was wonderful. :-)
Menelvagor Valar: especially the Mos Eisly Cantina on accordeon by Vader was awesomesauce :-D
VardaValar1: I was trying not to mention the spoiler. :-) That made me laugh out loud and Sauron had to come see what I was laughing about. : )
Menelvagor Valar: hehe :-D
ArPharazonV: Ah, is that what it is.
ArPharazonV: It did sound a bit familiar.
Eonwe Valar: Back.
VardaValar1: Aiyata, meldo. :-)
Eonwe Valar: Hantal
Menelvagor Valar: Aiyata.
ArPharazonV: While I have seen the movies once or twice, and I'm currently following a webcomic which is translating both trilogies into a D&D campaign, I'm not that familiar with it that I catch all the themes etc.
Eonwe Valar: Hantal.
Eonwe Valar: *to Menel's Aiyata.
Menelvagor Valar: I think I can catch most themes in that medley :-D
Menelvagor Valar: I particularly like the A New Hope theme :-D
ArPharazonV: I didn't DC again, did I?
Eonwe Valar: Hehe, I don't even have the full list of overstock in the lvl 60 and lower tab sold off, and we've filled it again.
galdorandwe: Namarie all
VardaValar1: Namarie Galdor
galdorandwe has left the room.
WoW:
Eonwe Valar: OK, the plan is to run Blackrock Spire, Auchenai Crypt, and Durnholde Keep for Glorfindel/anyone else who needs the credit, then see where we are from there.
ArPharazonV: Hmm, Blackrock Spire. I really need to get my rogue levelled so he can go on pickpocketing rounds there, so I can finish Insane in the Membrane.
AriehnV: got mine to 76 hehe
ArPharazonV: That wouldn't be on AD would it? ;-)
AriehnV: oh aye :-)
AriehnV: i cancelled wow us , sigh , time problems
ArPharazonV: *grin* maybe I should bribe you to get about a thousand junkboxes for me then!
Eonwe Valar: Insane in the Membrane = all those tough reps i.e. Shen'drelar & Ravenholdt, right?
AriehnV: hehe aye shure
AriehnV has left the room.
ArPharazonV: Yep. Well, not Shen'dralar anymore, since that became unavailable.
AriehnV has entered the room.
AriehnV: i can open frosteel boxes now
ArPharazonV: I'm missing Darkmoon Faire and Ravenholdt at the moment. But I've calculated that if I do all the dailies and get all the artefacts next month, I'll be able to get exalted with the Darkmoon Faire on the next round.
AriehnV: once i get to 80 i think i should be able to pick titanium boxes
ArPharazonV: So Ravenholdt is the last obstacle. And that's why I need to deliver over a thousand pickpocketed heavy junkboxes, but only rogues can pickpocket, after all!
Menelvagor Valar: mihihihihihihi :-D
Eonwe Valar: I honestly thought I was going to gaff off Darkmoon Faire and Wintersaber trainers, but then they went and made the rep easier to get, hehe.
ArPharazonV: Aye. No more 100 decks of cards needed, much easier this way.

Menelvagor Valar: I'm off again, time to play some more Skyrim ^^
ArPharazonV: Have fun!
ArPharazonV: I used to look forward to Skyrim, but then I took an arrow in the knee.
ArPharazonV: ..Actually, I don't really feel like I have the time.
ArPharazonV: Barely touched Oblivion either.
Eonwe Valar: Check in on the RP discussion thread :}
Eonwe Valar: *Before you go, Menel.
Menelvagor Valar: apparently, that phrase is used more often. care to explain the origins?
Eonwe Valar: Which phrase?
ArPharazonV: Skyrim, apparently. I've seen it in memes and even webcomics. It appears to be a guard-quote, something like "I used to be an adventurer like you, but then I took an arrow in the knee."
Eonwe Valar: Ah.
ArPharazonV: And as you can get so many guards to say it, it got rather widespread.
Menelvagor Valar: that one, aye
Menelvagor Valar: I like being able to play Skyrim, Final Fantasy and chat on my pc barely having to move at all :-D
ArPharazonV: http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/i-took-an-arrow-in-the-knee very informative!
Menelvagor Valar: The only problem is, my mous is somewhere on the other side of the table... too much movement involved to go fetch it :-D
ArPharazonV: haha
Menelvagor Valar: Or in more apt words, I used to go hiking to the other end of the table, but then I took an arrow in the knee.
ArPharazonV: Heh.
Menelvagor Valar: Then again, I was sufficiently curious to hazard the perilous journey.
Menelvagor Valar: Luckily, I was able to retrieve the mouse without suffering another arrow in the knee *wink*
ArPharazonV: Dangerous, getting off your chair. No knowing where you might be swept off to.
Menelvagor Valar: Aye, you might go out the door.
Menelvagor Valar: Nothing more dangerous than that.
Menelvagor Valar: *starts humming "the road goes ever on and on"*
AriehnV: and now to bed .. and now to bed
ArPharazonV: Namarie :-)
AriehnV: Namarie :-)
AriehnV has left the room.
You have just entered room "valarguildmeetingplace."
ArPharazonV: Well, not sure what I missed on my last disconnect, last thing I saw was Arien leaving
ArPharazonV: But I'll just save and send.
