AIM: Valar Guild Meetingplace
Transcript work by: Ar-Pharazon-(V)
Aragorn's kingdom was not peaceful
You have just entered room "valarguildmeetingplace."
VardaValar1: Hi there : )
Eonwe Valar: Heya
ArPharazonV: just pulled me away from WoW ;-)
VardaValar1: Hey, he woke up : )
VardaValar1: Must have been tough : )
ArPharazonV: we had a fantastically funny raid last night... we farmed
the first boss of AQ40 40 times with about 20 people, and got 14
ArPharazonV: no, not the first boss
ArPharazonV: the first mob
VardaValar1: Congratulations! Those mounts are a sight
Eonwe Valar: hehe
ArPharazonV: every time resetting the raid and the instance after we
ArPharazonV: 40 kills in less than 4 hours... so much fun
ArPharazonV: I have a yellow one!
VardaValar1: See you coming miles away : )
ArPharazonV: too bad the darn things only work in AQ40 ;-)
VardaValar1: I saw the purple one in IF, I think it was
VardaValar1: Guess those specials are the only ones that can go outside?
ArPharazonV: as a questreward for the sceptre quest, but only within 10
hours after the opening
ArPharazonV: there are 2 now on our server, and there will be no more
ArPharazonV: but yellow, blue, green and red all drop inside, and all
only work inside
ArPharazonV: red is the rarest, though... and we didn't get a single one
ArPharazonV: 3 blue, 3 green, and 8 yellow ones
ArPharazonV: aye, yet :-)
ArPharazonV: our goal is 4 different colors for everyone ;-)
Orodreth V: Reeeeeealy bored today, arn't you?
ArPharazonV: it was fun! we wanted to go into AQ40, but only got 22
VardaValar1: Any of you see anyone on we missed inviting?
ArPharazonV: so 6 left, and the other 16 decided not to go away until
we killed at least one mob
ArPharazonV: when we figured out how to kill it with so few people, and
it dropped the first mount...
ArPharazonV: we knew how we were going to spend the rest of the evening
VardaValar1: Okies, let's start
sila lumenn' omentielvo!
VardaValar1: Gilraen stopped by and said she would be missing tonight
because she has to be at work early tomorrow, but sends hellos
VardaValar1: Fortunately for those who need more time,
VardaValar1: I haven't been working on the drop of disinterested
members much this week
VardaValar1: I'll try to have it done for next meeting. Sorry I'm
taking so long this year
VardaValar1: Any other member news?
ArPharazonV: my pc is back!
ArPharazonV: with well functioning cards and everything
VardaValar1: Oh, some people are done with Mid-term tests and have
Spring Break and can play this week
ArPharazonV: and upgraded ram to 1500 mb
ArPharazonV: WoW is smooooooth
VardaValar1: Phar is very much back then :-)
ArPharazonV: no more lag in Ironforge even... and that's saying a whole
VardaValar1: and ready to go for his 4 bug mounts
VardaValar1: Not even in LagForge! woot!
VardaValar1: Any other member news? Surely you guys and gals have a
Orodreth V: Life? Life?
Orodreth V: Please define.
VardaValar1: Gaming and Tolkien is life. The rest is support for it,
right? : )
ArPharazonV: I was sick this week
Eonwe Valar: I'm one of those on Spring Break :}
VardaValar1: Definition done
ArPharazonV: had a weak version of a flue for 2-3 days
VardaValar1: *passes Dayquil to Phar*
VardaValar1: Go Eonwe!
ArPharazonV: thus, very coincidentally...
VardaValar1: Eonwe and I plan to hit WoW after the meeting if any want
to join in or can : )
ArPharazonV: had to stay home for my presentation in college and the
final preparations for it
ArPharazonV: but I had problems getting it underway the days before..
ArPharazonV: so in a way it was as much as an escape as an illfortune
VardaValar1: Moving right along and not having heard that last...
ArPharazonV: - the first as
Orodreth V: I went to a model united nations thingy from tursday until
Orodreth V: Was pretty fun.
Orodreth V: Yes.
Orodreth V: We didn't actually become the unite nations.
Orodreth V: If we had, the middle east would be a smoking crater right
now. We had a little fun in the last couple hours. :D
VardaValar1: hehe - pro-active lot, huh?
VardaValar1: The way to finally make peace in the Middle-east that
lasts more than a week.
VardaValar1: Keep working on those solutions. ; )
Orodreth V: Well, let's see. Sudan, Libya, and myself (Sierra Leone)
declared war on Chad, Isreal delcared war on Iran, and the entire
middle east sans Lebannon declared war on Denmark.
VardaValar1: Denmark! ho!
LuthienV: Poor Denmark
VardaValar1: Can't do that, we have members there ; )
ArPharazonV: who was denmark?
Orodreth V: Yea. One of the delegates made some anti-middle-east
Orodreth V: Alex something.
Orodreth V: There were something like 400 kids there, so.. :p
VardaValar1: o wow! : ) Had to be a blast
ArPharazonV: how about the Netherlands?
VardaValar1: They get the fallout
LuthienV: what about Canada?
VardaValar1: What about Canada? ;-)
Orodreth V: Exactly. :p
LuthienV: hey! We do stuff..
VardaValar1: I like Canada, still has trees
VardaValar1: Tolkien site has been busy, mostly
art and stories
VardaValar1: Story: "Hope" by Siobhan-(TV)
VardaValar1: Short enough that maybe some of you will read it ; )
VardaValar1: Illustrated by
VardaValar1: "First Meetings" by
Siobhan and Cassia
VardaValar1: First time Aragorn and Legolas meet
VardaValar1: Illustrated by Cassia
VardaValar1: "Father's Love' by
Siobhan and Cassia, which I should have mentioned before that
VardaValar1: Illustrated by Cassia
VardaValar1: "Along Came a Spider" by
Jay of Lasgalen
VardaValar1: Jay tends to write stories around the twins, Elladan and
Elrohir, with soem about their friendship with Legolas
VardaValar1: some include Aragorn and Arwen
VardaValar1: Lots of new art
VardaValar1: See the Cave of
VardaValar1: and the Cave of
VardaValar1: New Links:
VardaValar1: A couple of new ones under the art section
VardaValar1: and a new one for a group that puts their Tolkien info on
VardaValar1: Any other of you have Web News?
VardaValar1: Still awake out there? ; )
VardaValar1: On to Gaming News:
VardaValar1: Eonwe, you had some for LotRO and WoW?
ArPharazonV: oh, sorry, was just reading a new-found lotr-comic
ArPharazonV: it's Dutch, though, so you wouldn't be able to use it
VardaValar1: Some members read Dutch, thanks : )
ArPharazonV: was thinking of waiting with it until Tolkien section :-)
VardaValar1: Good point
Eonwe Valar: Aye, I do have some.
Eonwe Valar: Was just making sure I had it all at my fingertips :}
Eonwe Valar: I'll start with WoW news first.
Eonwe Valar: Blizzard's started a Guild Relations program for the WoW Forums,
with some perks involved for qualifying Guilds.
Eonwe Valar: Long story short: They want people to be helpful and
courteous, and once enough in a guild meet their standards, they'll
send an invite to the Guild leader with further details.
Eonwe Valar: Perks:A dedicated page linked to from the
WorldofWarcraft.com community website listing the name of each guild in
the program, details about each guild, other relevant details, and a
link to each guild's website
Eonwe Valar: Eligibility to participate in an upcoming beta test
Eonwe Valar: Live chat sessions with Blizzard game designers
Eonwe Valar: Q&A updates to be posted in the Guild Relations forum
based on feedback received directly from members of the program
Eonwe Valar: Additional features and benefits to come!
Eonwe Valar: So if any of you have the inclination to sit on a Forum
and be helpful in your Guild suit, there's incentive now :}
ArPharazonV: is that the BC betatest?
Eonwe Valar: It just says "an upcoming beta test" so could be that, and
anything after that.
VardaValar1: They want us to get off WoW onto the Forum? : )
Eonwe Valar: I.E, since this program will likely still be in effect
after Burning Crusade comes out, guilds still have a shot at "a" beta
Eonwe Valar: Sneaky way to reduce realm lag, eh? :}
Eonwe Valar: and queues :}
Eonwe Valar: They have suggestions for things to do here: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/community/guildrelations.html
Eonwe Valar: So as I said, if you like to be helpful and courteous
(hopefully you do if you joined this guild :}) here's incentive :}
Eonwe Valar: and if you like spending time on Forums :}
VardaValar1: Or now and then anyway
Orodreth V: If I actually played WoW, I'd do that. I live on forums.
VardaValar1: Oro, have to get you to talk on ours sometime then ;-)
Eonwe Valar: Second news:
Eonwe Valar: (Still WoW)
Eonwe Valar: For those with fast connectiosn that wouldn't take them
until the middle of next February to download stuff, they are running contests
on some of the Public Test Realm servers for 1.10 to get a spot in the
Eonwe Valar: er, servers is redundant, scratch that word.
Eonwe Valar: Tried to get a link for you, but can't find it
Eonwe Valar: ah, here's one
Eonwe Valar: hmm, am I lagging?
VardaValar1: hard to tell
VardaValar1: Don't think so
Eonwe Valar: it won't seem to let me give the link
Eonwe Valar: anyway, you can reach the link I'm trying to give by
clicking on the icon at the top of the WoW community page.
VardaValar1: Won't kill us to click : )
Eonwe Valar: Now for LotRO News:
VardaValar1: (We did get together Friday for WoW Lothar,
and lots of questing other days together)
Eonwe Valar: Was going to do that at the end, but I can give that now
if you wish :}
VardaValar1: Pardon, thought we were in WoW news
Eonwe Valar: You called on me for both my WoW and LotRO news, so
thought I'd give both at the same time :}
Eonwe Valar: But sure, LotRO news can hold for a sec.
VardaValar1: Sorry for the confusion
Eonwe Valar: np
Eonwe Valar: This week's questing brought us to two locations: Maraudon
and Blackrock Depths.
VardaValar1: (Friday's questing, he means)
Eonwe Valar: Aye, this Friday's pardon.
Eonwe Valar: It was me, Varda, and Sauron. We first went to Blackrock Depths and took on
Eonwe Valar: As I was the only one capable of healing, I thought I'd
try that out and let the pets tank (Varda Hunter and Sauron Warlock).
Eonwe Valar: (me Paladin)
VardaValar1: Walking on chains over the lava was scarier than the
Overmaster : )
Eonwe Valar: Hehe, aye :}
ArPharazonV: well, you can always take the shortcut :-)
VardaValar1: But it's fun, Phar ; )
ArPharazonV: although that's even more dangerous ;
Eonwe Valar: We dispatched of Overmaster Pyron fairly quickly.
Eonwe Valar: After turning in that quest, we decided to head into Maraudon, where we had the
Vyletongue corruption to deal with.
Eonwe Valar: We had a couple of deaths along the way, usually when the
enemies just wouldn't stay on the pets or I ran dry of mana.
Eonwe Valar: but we made it to Noxxion and decided to give him a try.
Eonwe Valar: We almost got him the first time, but not quite so well
the second time.
Eonwe Valar: The summons bypassing the pets made it tough.
Eonwe Valar: Sauron had to go after our second try, so we decided to
call it a night.
VardaValar1: He had work early in the morning
Eonwe Valar: All in all, I think it went well, and had we skipped
Noxxion would've likely got further :}
Eonwe Valar: That does it for my WoW news.
VardaValar1: Thanks Eonwe
VardaValar1: Phar, your WoW news?
VardaValar1: for WoW Europe
ArPharazonV: well, there was no valar-questing, seeing as Fladrif's still withholding from
WoW, Menel spends all or most of his time on Defias it seems, and
Valandil and I just seem to be on at different hours...
ArPharazonV: as for our guild and raidalliance, we had some good fun
ArPharazonV: we're busy learning the Nefarion-encounter, got him to
phase 2 this week
ArPharazonV: he's the final boss of Blackwing Lair
ArPharazonV: we also made our first steps into Ahn'Qiraj
Menelvagor Valar: actually, I
haven't spent a minute on WoW for weeks.
Menelvagor Valar: and not going to until WoW stops crashing on me for
an hour, which will not likely be the case until I get a comp upgrade.
ArPharazonV: in the 20-man instance of AQ, we managed to down the first
four bosses, so that was nice... for reputation and questitems with the
Cenarion Circle, and some tomes for extra ranks to some class abilities
ArPharazonV: I myself went home that day with an extra rank in Starfire!
ArPharazonV: as for the 40-man instance... we went there once with 16
people, couldn't get more who found it worth it
ArPharazonV: and farmed the first mob 40 times, each time resetting the
Eonwe Valar: No sense of adventure, eh? :}
ArPharazonV: after 4 hours and 40 kills, we had 14 bug-mounts, 100%
extra speed, which can only be used in that instance.. but are great
ArPharazonV: actually, the next trashgroup needs 4 tanks, and we didn't
have those :-)
ArPharazonV: the adventure was managing to kill a mob with 16 people in
a very hard 40-man instance ;-)
Menelvagor Valar: :-P
Menelvagor Valar: for the RSA, I wouldn
Menelvagor Valar: t call very hard "hard"
ArPharazonV: it was an Obsidian Eradicator, and drains mana, when his
bar is full he gives a huge explosion taking out most of the raid
Eonwe Valar: Sounds like a target for Mana burn :}
Eonwe Valar: but I'll let you continue :}
ArPharazonV: we had a great tactic though.... we burned our mana before
the battle, leaving only one healer for the main tank, and meleeing it
to death before it explodes
ArPharazonV: there were not nearly enough priests etc to drain his mana
if all our mana was full ;-)
ArPharazonV: many useless spells were spammed that evening!
ArPharazonV: it worked 40 times in 4 hours, so it was quite succesful
ArPharazonV: so now I have my own bug-mount, as well as 13 other people
in our group!
ArPharazonV: and that concluded our only venture in AQ40 so far!
VardaValar1: Nice tactic
ArPharazonV: exactly... it would have been harder that way had we been
with 40 ;-)
ArPharazonV: nice situation for my catgear, which has no intellect or
Menelvagor Valar: he would likely have been killed faster :-P
ArPharazonV: true, but he would have charged up a lot faster too
Menelvagor Valar: well, when he is at about 90% or so, you have the
raid withdraw, with exception for a priest and a couple mages and let
him explode on nothing :-)
ArPharazonV: it was a small space, Menel, and mostly blows our MT right
out of the instance ;-)
ArPharazonV: after that, the mob slaughters all the healers
ArPharazonV: he exploded twice, once causing a wipe, the other with
just 3 people alive.. me, the main tank, and a rogue... I tanked the
thing in bearform until the MT was back, and then we killed it
Menelvagor Valar: I would expect RSA to down the thing before it even
got to 50% full.
ArPharazonV: MT is Main Tank, btw, in our case Thanduril with his newly
gained Thunderfury, the legendary sword
Menelvagor Valar: omg.
Menelvagor Valar: nice.
ArPharazonV: I know :-)
VardaValar1: Not someone you could invite to Valar by any chance, with
that name? : )
ArPharazonV: I could try :-)
Menelvagor Valar: I think I may have tried a long time ago.
Menelvagor Valar: but it has been a while.
VardaValar1: Only if he's courteous and read the books, so you don't
waste your time : )
Menelvagor Valar: THG has quite a few characters referencing to one
book or another, and most of them Tolkien.
VardaValar1: You know him, I don't
Menelvagor Valar: I know him, he's cool, don't know about the books,
but Thranduil does not make an appearance in the films, and only gets
mentioned once, if I am not much mistaken.
ArPharazonV: there are like 3 Thandurils on the server... Thanduril,
Thánduril, and Thandurill
ArPharazonV: and a Thranduil, I think
VardaValar1: The other names are his fault ; )
ArPharazonV: actually, rumor goes our Thanduril was first
VardaValar1: Maybe they'd like to hit the Tolkien part even if not our
VardaValar1: They can do that as Full or Tolkien-only
VardaValar1: That's funny Phar! I'll bet he went d'oh when he found out
he could've had the name!
ArPharazonV: no idea, we never discussed that
ArPharazonV: perhaps Thranduil beat him to it anyway... not sure
ArPharazonV: perhaps he used the Thanduril version in another game, and
decided to use it here despite there being an opening for Thranduil
ArPharazonV: it's always possible
VardaValar1: All done with WoW news?
ArPharazonV: I got my ace of warlords!
ArPharazonV: but that's all, aye :-)
VardaValar1: Congrats : )
VardaValar1: Orodreth has been playing Eve Online : )
ArPharazonV: now I jus tneed the other pieces of the deck :P
VardaValar1: and his bot
is back operating on Battlenet
VardaValar1: Anyone want to help me catch his bot during the chat? : )
ArPharazonV: I could try.. have the TFT cd in my pc anyway
VardaValar1: o goody : )
ArPharazonV: how do I "contact" it?
Eonwe Valar: I suppose I should see if I even still have a WC3 account
VardaValar1: Oro, I'll let you field that one
VardaValar1: Show up in Valar channel, first of all : )
ArPharazonV: I'm in
Eonwe Valar: Apparently there's an update for WC3 I don't have.
VardaValar1: Phar and I made it to Valar
Eonwe Valar: Don't wait up for me. It's going to be quite some time.
Eonwe Valar: In fact, I may just have to do it later.
VardaValar1: no worries
VardaValar1: I just added Luthien as Tindomeral-V to my friend list :-)
VardaValar1: Isildur-V is on D2:LoD
Eonwe Valar: wow
VardaValar1: I see him there now and then
VardaValar1: No replies anytime
ArPharazonV: wow, I have 11 windows on my taskbar.... that's a lot
VardaValar1: Tindomerel-V is the actual spelling, pardon
Eonwe Valar: No gaming info for him on the Games Page either.
ArPharazonV: msn, 2 msn-conversations, firefox, aim, this room, IMs
with Varda and Menel, my shared folder, winamp, and TFT... must be a
Eonwe Valar: Sounds more like the average :}
VardaValar1: And your comp hasn't crashed! Nice repair job : )
VardaValar1: Orodreth had to leave
VardaValar1: Eonwe, on that Games page,
do you only take emailed info?
Eonwe Valar: I prefer e-mailed info
Eonwe Valar: Easier to keep track of
VardaValar1: Good luck
Eonwe Valar: I prefer info directly from that person most of all.
VardaValar1: I never could keep anything updated by emailed info
VardaValar1: People didn't send it
VardaValar1: Any other gaming news?
Eonwe Valar: Aye, I have LotRO news :}
Eonwe Valar: First, Turbine
has picked Codemasters for their launch of LotRO in Europe
Eonwe Valar: Second, They've
released a tad of info on a place they've created north of Bree:
Eonwe Valar: Third, there is
now a new LotRO trailer available, featureing all four races.
Eonwe Valar: Finally, there is
a new Developer Diary called "Friends Don't Let Friends Tank Balrogs."
ArPharazonV: get Thunderfury ;-)
LuthienV: do you have a link for the LotRO trailer?
VardaValar1: : )
Eonwe Valar: In this diary, they discuss certain gameplay
Eonwe Valar: http://lotro.turbine.com/
VardaValar1: afk will scroll with delight : )
LuthienV: thanks : )
Eonwe Valar: My solution is to let a Noldorin lord or Maia Tank
Balrogs, personally :}
Eonwe Valar: Back to the Dev Diary though, as it has some interesting
bits I want to share :}
Eonwe Valar: We get a peak at the 3 types of instances they will have
Eonwe Valar: (Bah, keep forgetting it won't let me highlight
Eonwe Valar: The first is a highly sculpted solo experience.
Eonwe Valar: These instance allow the player to learn more about
characters, motivations, and story.
ArPharazonV: sounds great
Eonwe Valar: These instances often introduce key individuals or areas
of the game, and at times familiar faces from the books, allowing
players to learn more about an important figure or landmark.
LuthienV: nice, players will actually be able to solo efficiently?
Eonwe Valar: Solo play will be supported, aye.
Eonwe Valar: The second is a sculpted Fellowship instance that furthers
the many chapters of the Shadows of Angmar.
Eonwe Valar: These instances provide and intricate web-work of
stoyline, tying into previous chapters and moments for all players
following the main story path.
Eonwe Valar: The third type of instance is a shared Fellowship instance
that provides encapsulated story to feed the larger whole.
Eonwe Valar: While similar in some ways, instance types two and three
are still very different and highlighted below.
Eonwe Valar: Those were the short explanations given in the diary.
Below them is an example of each.
Eonwe Valar: I'll leave those for you to read A:}
VardaValar1: *wants to go play it*
Eonwe Valar: But, there is one question this diary answers that I will
share: Will there be raids in LotRO
Eonwe Valar: "At this time, the answer is no."
VardaValar1: More like questing and instances then?
Eonwe Valar: "Does this mean that raids will never find their way into
LotRO? Not at all, raids are truly a different topic requiring their
VardaValar1: Raids wouldn't fit so well into the story-telling theme
they have going, seems like.
Eonwe Valar: While there are currently no plans to incorporate raids
into LotRO, there is one more type of hybrid content style.
Eonwe Valar: What makes a hybrid content style, you ask? Some areas of
the world require ga group effort to defeat foes; after all,
Fellowships are at the core of the world, are they not?
Eonwe Valar: These areas will be difficult but survivable, and will
likely feature some of the most difficult enemies in MIddle-Earth.
Eonwe Valar: "
Eonwe Valar: So no raids at least at launch. Now the question is how
many players they define as a "raid."
Eonwe Valar: But aye, Varda, most seems to be going around small
groups. I've heard fellowships being about 9-10 people tops, but it's
been a long while since I heard that.
ArPharazonV: 9 sounds... appropriate ;-)
Eonwe Valar: Aye :}
VardaValar1: It does : )
Eonwe Valar: Not quite sure what to make out of "group effort..." Does
that mean a Fellowship will have to pull together and do their best, or
Fellowships will have to team up?
Eonwe Valar: If the latter, isn't that essentially a raid?
VardaValar1: Raids don't do regular quests and gang up in one huge
group that sees each other
Eonwe Valar: Anyway, that does it for my LotRO news. Read, watch, and
VardaValar1: Eonwe Valar: What makes a hybrid content style, you ask?
Some areas of the world require ga group effort to defeat foes; after
all, Fellowships are at the core of the world, are they not?
VardaValar1: May just mean don't do the whole thing solo?
VardaValar1: But no, that's covered earlier, as a single group
Eonwe Valar: Perhaps. Reading again it might be a n idea similar to
taking on the elite demons near the Dark Portal: Not a good idea to try
Eonwe Valar: They're in the outside world, not an instance.
Eonwe Valar: That may be what they mean.
ArPharazonV: but, if they're the most dangerous enemies of all ME..
ArPharazonV: it would make sense that you would need more than just a
VardaValar1: Right now, our family figures on having WoW and LotRO at
the same time, at least to start
VardaValar1: See how it goes
VardaValar1: Get the Last Alliance thing going? : )
Eonwe Valar: I would assume they mean under Balrogs,, which there's
only one of. which means these creatures are likely killable by us
lowly normal people :}
Eonwe Valar: just not in solable killing groups of seven :}
Eonwe Valar: *soloable
VardaValar1: Are we done with gaming news?
Eonwe Valar: I am done with my news.
VardaValar1: Thank you, Eonwe
VardaValar1: Luthien says we covered the subject pretty well for her,
on the transcript now up.
VardaValar1: So we can go on to another
VardaValar1: So how about those Balrog
wings? ; )
VardaValar1: If we ask for them deep-fried, will we get nothing?
Eonwe Valar: "Everybody knows Balrog wings are really dragon wings
dipped in barbeque sauce" :}
VardaValar1: ah hah!
Eonwe Valar: Can't claim that as my own, but it's still good after all
this time :}
VardaValar1: aye : )
VardaValar1: Something I've noticed that seems to be lost in fan fiction
VardaValar1: is that Aragorn's
kingdom was not peaceful.
VardaValar1: Everything didn't turn out all fluffy and pink just
because Sauron went down
Eonwe Valar: Aye
LuthienV: no Happily Ever After? : (
VardaValar1: Aragorn and Eomer went together to war often
Eonwe Valar: He still rode to war
VardaValar1: Apparently Gimli and Legolas went with them
VardaValar1: Faramir had plenty of Stewarding to do
VardaValar1: On top of that, they had all the rebuilding going on.
ArPharazonV: the Haradrim were still there, though they lost most of
VardaValar1: Aragorn was a relative unknown to his people
VardaValar1: Aye, Phar
VardaValar1: Orcs were already talking about starting up their bandit
gangs if they could get away
VardaValar1: from Sauron.
ArPharazonV: aye, and with Sauron reduced to nothing more than a
poltergeist with noble origins, there was nothing standing in their way
VardaValar1: The Ithilien area had to be built back up
VardaValar1: hehe - well put, Phar
Eonwe Valar: Aragorn did grant the orcs Mordor if memory serves.
ArPharazonV: there was the matter of Arnor, which had been kingless for
VardaValar1: I wonder if his spirit was completely blown to tatters in
VardaValar1: Men were supposed to keep out of the Shire, and that had
to be enforced.
ArPharazonV: a lot of ruins to be rebuilt, roads repaired, subjects to
make known the existence of their king
VardaValar1: The Barrow Downs were still there
VardaValar1: Taxes to levy ;-)
VardaValar1: That would not go over well
ArPharazonV: wonder how Bree would have responded to that
VardaValar1: What do you mean, a tax on beer!?
Eonwe Valar: If it meant they were safer, might've taken it a bit
VardaValar1: Sauron's gone, we don't need a king now
Eonwe Valar: Yeah, tell that to the ruffians that moved in after the
Rangers moved out :}
VardaValar1: Displaced humans from both sides of the war might go into
VardaValar1: Aye : )
VardaValar1: Alatar and Pallando were still around with cults in the

VardaValar1: Nighty night, Phar : )
VardaValar1: Thanks for talking with us!
LuthienV: afk for dinner
Eonwe Valar: sleep well :}
VardaValar1: We should probably break this up
ArPharazonV: oh, no, continue, I'm liking this
VardaValar1: Let Luthien eat, Menel and Phar sleep
ArPharazonV: I'll read further in the transcript
VardaValar1: Eonwe and me play WoW
Eonwe Valar: *picks up mace*
Eonwe Valar: Oh, that's not what you meant?
ArPharazonV: *picks up bug-mount*
Eonwe Valar: *putes mace away*
Eonwe Valar: *puts even*
VardaValar1: Phar, you make half the conversation at least : )
Eonwe Valar: :}
ArPharazonV: btw, got a splendid piece of feral druid breastpiece from
Ebonroc in BWL!
Eonwe Valar: congrats :}
VardaValar1: Congrats : )
ArPharazonV: Malfurion's Blessed Bulwark
VardaValar1: So Eonwe, your barded horse and my Nightsabre?
Eonwe Valar: Hmm, I don't remember anything feral about him.
Eonwe Valar: Certainly :}
ArPharazonV: won't easily find a piece of leather with more armor that
VardaValar1: Too bad they won't let us do really great crafting
VardaValar1: We need an incentive for that.
VardaValar1: We get to 300 and can only help low alts?
ArPharazonV: got a +100 health enchant on it that same evening... and

Eonwe Valar: Well, there's some good stuff, it just takes lots or high
VardaValar1: Can't they find better raiding instances though?
ArPharazonV: aye, there's the warden cloak, with 214 armor!
Eonwe Valar: Aye
ArPharazonV: and lots of cool engineering trinkets

VardaValar1: Thanks, Eonwe
VardaValar1: Need to grab a bite before (or while) we mount up?
ArPharazonV: how about jewelcrafting in BC?
Eonwe Valar: change uber-leet to something more professionsal and
non-raid-prefering, and you'll have their words pretty much.
VardaValar1: Supper time for you and me
Eonwe Valar: Not yet, just need to grab a drink.
VardaValar1: Your comment is completely clear though ;-)
VardaValar1: See you in the pixellated lands!
VardaValar1: Namarie for here

Eonwe Valar: Take care all, sleep well, good night, have fun :}
Eonwe Valar: Oh, don't forget to bang the gavel :}
