To gain control of the gavel in Clan Valarguild one must type: #1
.designate accountname(does not include *)
.resign
#2 .say /designate accountname .say /resign ***notice that this is NOT .say .resign #3 .giveops accountname REMINDER - All whispered commands omit the period (.) so one would whisper giveops account name, designate accountname, resign, say /designate accountname, and say /resign
Botmail: how to use
Here is a list of the commands for the Chewbacca bot used in both Valar and Clan ValarGuild. Most of these commands are self-explanatory. If anyone wants his accountname added to the bots immediately either get me (Thror) to respond on b.net or send me an e-mail

The Botmail on chewbot is very simple to operate:

without the .)
Receive:

.mail read (whisper without (.)
the bot will notify you if you have an awaiting message with a wisper
and instruct you to wisper mail read back to it
.mail read also works but whispering is always advised for limiting
channel traffic
Also if whispering remember not to use the (.) on any command, therefore
mail username message is used in a whisper
