To all members of the Valar Guild, Hail and Salutations on the 19th Anniversary of our illustrious community!

Prior to September 2016, our gaming consisted of 153 members playing 12 games.

Of those 153 members:
38 members played Lord of the Rings Online
11 members played World of Warcraft
5 members played each of Eve Online, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and StarCraft 2
4 members played Guild Wars 2
3 members played each of Diablo 3, Hearthstone, and Heroes of the Storm
1 member played each of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, League of Legends, and Online Chess

Additionally:
3 members said they could be found on Steam
2 Members said they could be found on Xbox Live
1 member said he could be found on Kongregate

On September 5th, 2016, the Games Site Mass-Update letter was sent out, requesting all members to send in their most up-to-date gaming information by September 30th. 122 e-mails were sent out to members with an e-mail address listed on the Membership page. Of those, 18 were undeliverable, 15 responded by the deadline, not including myself as initiator. To those who responded, thank you.

A further 22 members' gaming information was gleaned from Guild Branch activity in World of Warcraft and Lord of the Rings Online. As with previous years, any activity within 90 days was counted as recent activity. The branches examined were on the US servers of Uldaman and Lothar for World of Warcraft, and the server Landroval for Lord of the Rings Online.

Once all sources accessible to Eonwe were verified for recent activity, the Games Site roster was updated to reflect current gaming information.

As of October 1st, 2016, the Valar Guild Games Site now reflects a total of 155 members playing 17 games.

Of those 155 members:
1 member plays each of Elder Scrolls Online, Grand Theft Auto 5, League of Legends, Smite, Spellstone, Star Trek Online, Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, and War of Omens
2 members play each of Hearthstone and Star Wars: The Old Republic
3 members play each of Diablo 3, Guild Wars 2, and Heroes of the Storm
4 members play Eve Online
5 members play StarCraft 2

World of Warcraft remains our second most-played game, with 10 members spread across 2 regions.

Lord of the Rings Online is our strongest game yet again, with 31 members playing. Even though in comparison to before the GSMU it has lost members, it remains in line with where it was at the end of last year's GSMU.

Additionally:
4 members say they can be found on Steam
1 member says he can be found on Kongregate

This concludes the State of Valar Gaming. As always, please check over your gaming information, making sure it is correct. If you did not respond to the GSMU, you can still send in your gaming information. Remember to keep me updated on games you play that you'd like to be able to find other Guild Members playing.

Happy Anniversary!
