The Bullroarer's Day Race

by Hoegard Harfoot
March 17, 2010

On an old pony both fine and fat,
As bold upon his back I sat.
Off we shot at a bouncing pace,
Running the Bullroarer’s day race.
Butterscotch, Barley, and Old Bill
Went trotting off over the hill
Barley and Old Bill lost the way
Butterscotch and I won the day
